TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) End < ACT : SWEET MIRAGE > Tour in LA
Tumblr media
On May 28th, 2023 at BMO stadium(LA), TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) held their last stop in the USA for their tour TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s World Tour. The were in the USA the year before and performed at a much smaller venue in LA.
Concert Begins
The concert started as soon as TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT), dressed in prince outfits with a castle on screen behind them, came out. They performed “Blue Hour” and “Can’t We Just Leave the Monster Alive?” as the first set of songs. Despite it being just the first set, these performances set the scene for the concert. Following these performances, TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) stop and introduce themselves before ripping off their jackets to show their jerseys underneath. They then went into the next set of songs that included “Drama”, “No Rules” and the English version of “Cat & Dog”. The jerseys definitely made sense for these songs as they are playful and typically on the cuter side for TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT).
As “Cat & Dog” is a track from the debut album, they made sure to ask the fans to repeat the fan chants – which meant the fans would bark during parts of the song. After showing fans tips on how to use their light sticks, the performed “9 and Three Quarters (Run Away)”, followed by HUENINGKAI’s solo dance. Fans in the audience said while watching the screen, the effects reminded them of pixie dust that surrounded him. Pixie dust and Disney comparisons makes sense as everyone in this audience being in SoCal.
We Lost The Summer!
They then performed “We Lost The Summer” which came out during COVID quarantine days- an iconic song that described what many felt after that first summer. “Can’t You See Me” was next and this performance felt very well planned – the song is edgy and the screen, where the members stood, flames shooting out, light sticks turning red – all played into the song. This would probably be my favorite of the night if only if was later in the set list with different outfits. BMO Stadium is an outdoor stadium so it wasn’t dark yet at that time.
Tumblr media
The Story Begins
Then the first VCR began that will set the stage for the rest of the concert. The first one showed TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) in their prince outfits and various scenes of magic (very Disney like music). However, a girl appears at the end of the video that they’re trying to reach. SOOBIN reaches out his hand and as soon as he touches her, an apple with blood dripping appears. The members change outfits and perform a few more tracks including “LO$ER=LO♡ER”. They jump into an open car very much like the one in the music video.
The clip continues with very edgy and dramatic music. So we know something will be happening in the next one. The members split into unit dances with YEONJUN performing a solo and moving into the song “Opening Sequence”. The boy group introduce the next song and state that it doesn’t have a dance but focuses on the melody. It also allowed us to focus on the lyrics for “Anti-Romantic”. This performance flows into “Eternally” that continuously switches from soft and melodious to gritty and dark.
The Mood Changes
The next VCR clip states “their fleeting beautiful moment was shattered” before showing TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) with doors closing and stormy music. We see a spiral staircase and a green potion before the appearance of a dragon that seems to trigger something in the members. This set the scene for the next set of songs that included “Good Boy Gone Bad”, “Tinnitus”, and “Devil by the Window”. The VCR continues showing them more confused but definitely something is changing again before performing more upbeat tracks “Angel or Devil” and “Ice Cream”.
Before doing the “Happy Fools” challenge which member YEONJUN choreographed, they taught the audience the easy choreography. They noticed the choreographer for “magic “Magic” in the crowd and when the camera showed him, had him perform the “Happy Fools” challenge on screen with his section. TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) then actually performed the song and Coi Leray appeared on stage as a special guest!
Member and leader SOOBIN announced that it’s time for the end and so the members made a sad pile while saying “no wayyyy” before actually saying their goodbyes. TAEHYUN mentioned their are artists in the crowd that they’ve worked with and thanked them. HUENINGKAI thanked the audience for filling this huge venue before going into the supposed last song “Sugar Rush Ride” with fireworks above the stadium. Fireworks definitely forecasted the ending but it was not over yet!
Tumblr media
Encore
Something I haven’t seen at a KPOP concert before were the continuous wave of lightsticks in the crowd as fans waited. It was continuous as the wave circled at least 4 or 5 times before ending. A clip began with “farewell to sweet sweet mirage” as they show the boys underwater. They then switch back to the castle as a memory. BEOMGYU attempts to drink the mystery green potion before SOOBIN stops him. The members return on stage in white sitting in a ship and perform “Farewell, Neverland” before running off stage again.
Last VCR clip begins and states “as long as we sing the song of the stars”. The members appear on stage now changed into concert t-shirts for “Blue spring”. The screens show a beautiful background and they ask fans to sing along. HUENINGKAI mentioned this tour is the first time where they sang blue spring. SOOBIN said they wanted to hear Moa’s (fan name) sing along. BEOMGYU mentioned that he came to LA to learn to dance when he was 20 years old! Now he’s standing in a huge stadium with his fans. YEONJUN also says that his family in the US came to see him today. TAEHYUN mentions that performing in LA feels comfortable even though it may be a different country. Also, they’ll come back with an even better album which they’ve actually already started!
The real encore and final track is “Our Summer” which included a fan banner event. Make sure to check out TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) next time they’re near you!

📸 HypnoticAsia: BANG YONGGUK Electrifies the LA Crowd and Leaves them “NUMB” A/N: posted on 240511
On April 28th, 2024, The Vermont Hollywood in Los Angeles, CA became the center of energy and music as BANG YONGGUK took the stage for a concert that left fans buzzing with excitement. As fans gathered in anticipation, they were treated to an unforgettable evening! The artist was in LA just last summer but that didn’t stop his fans from coming to see him again. For those who were fans since B.A.P, they were ready with their Matoki lightsticks.
DJ Drop the Beat
From the moment the DJ stepped onto the stage, the atmosphere crackled with anticipation. The venue, pulsating with energy, served as the perfect backdrop for an artist known for his powerful presence and lyrics. BANG YONGGUK jumped on stage, opening with his hit track “Off” and “Xie Xie” and immediately commanded the attention of the audience.
BANG YONGGUK demonstrated his flexibility as a performer throughout the event, sliding from soft songs and hard-hitting rap rhymes with ease. Songs like “Hikikomori” had the crowd spellbound with his moving lyrics and expressive delivery.
A remarkable moment of the show was when BANG YONGGUK interacted with the audience. Despite the language barrier, he was able to engage his audience with his music and bring them into his universe. His sincerity was evident to everyone there as he frequently thanked them for their support.
As the night progressed, the energy in the venue reached a fever pitch. BANG YONGGUK’s energy was contagious, igniting the crowd into a frenzy of excitement. From the pulsating beats of his latest track “BUSS IT DOWN” to the chorus of his debut track “I Remember,” every moment included an undeniable sense of passion and intensity. He had a list of new songs to add, such as, “NUMB” and “IXLU” so despite seeing him in less than a year, there were new performances to enjoy.
Closing out the concert with a performance of “Orange Drive,” BANG YONGGUK left the audience craving for more. As the final notes echoed through the venue, there was a sense of satisfaction among the crowd. Despite this being his last performance in the states for the tour, the crowd was already wondering when they’ll see him next.

want to stan vav? pls do! ❤
VAV currently consists of 7 members: St. Van, Baron, ACE, Ayno, Jacob, Lou and Ziu. VAV debuted on October 31, 2015, under A Team Entertainment -- formerly AQ Entertainment.
For what I can tell, it’s a pretty nice company. A Team handled all the exits of the old members with a a lot of class, never blaming the guys in any moment and wishing them the best of lucks in their new paths (Xiao and Gyeoul are still under their management for example and doing well). Their marketing team has been on point lately promoting the group and CEO Ryan S Jhun not only produces bops for them but he is always so caring toward the boys ?? like being with them in some of their vlives and other stuff, even his little puppy Simba is around for schedules lol. Plus, us fans are so well fed with daily updates and everything has subs.
VAV are seven adorable, tall and hard working guys that have been trough a lot since debut and the path has definitely not been an easy one, but they’ve always make sure to give fans a lot of love and the relationship they have with Vampz is so good and pure, they really give us so much and ask for so little in return. They deserve more recognition.
Anyways! The fandom name is VAMPZ and here are their official accounts:

191007 니브(NIve)_HYPNOTICASIA Interview
[EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW] NIve Says, “it’s okay not to be okay” NIve, an artist based in Los Angeles, California has sat down and answered some questions for HypnoticAsia readers. NIve is known as a singer-songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist who not only writes his own tracks that tell of self-empowerment but for others as well. You may know him as a co-writer on the track “Beautiful Goodbye” by Chen of EXO and most recently “When it rained” and “Lie Lie Lie” for Jeong Sewoon NIve has experienced living in various countries including Australia, South Korea and the United States. He reveals that, “through experiencing different cultures and lifestyles, I learned to think differently and my ears became less selective when it came to different genres of music.” Through this interview, get to know more about NIve and his music – what inspires him, the message he is trying to convey and him as an artist overall!
HYPNOTICASIA: Please introduce yourself to the audience of HypnoticAsia. NIve: My name is NIve – I’m a recording artist, as well as a songwriter & producer! I’m based in Los Angeles, CA, but travel to Korea from time to time.
HYPNOTICASIA:What drew you to the music industry? NIve:  I believe my passion for writing about anything and turning them into songs sort of drew me into the industry. No matter what kind of difficult situations I faced, I always used music as a way to overcome and that naturally led me to the road I’m on now.
HYPNOTICASIA: From all your releases, which would you say is your favorite and why? NIve: I love all my songs (no bias of course), but so far I would say “Who I Am.” I’ve always wanted to sing about self-empowerment because that’s something I’ve struggled with in my life, and I think “Who I Am” speaks directly to that point.
HYPNOTICASIA: If you could collaborate with an artist of your choice (anywhere in the world) who would it be and why? NIve: Lately I’ve been listening to Lolo Zouai’s “Caffeine. I think she has a unique color and I love the energy that she gives off. So I’d say Lolo Zouai.
HYPNOTICASIA: In May 2019, you released your track “Who I Am”. Can you tell us a little about the song? NIve: The main message of “Who I Am” is, “It’s okay to be who you are.” We all live with our own insecurities and I’m certainly not an exception. I wrote the song in hopes of comforting those who may be afraid to face their insecurities and tell them it’s okay not to be okay, to really embrace who you are. At the end of the day, that’s the only way to take a step forward. HYPNOTICASIA: You just released your new track “Tired”. What is this track about? NIve: Truthfully, I’m tired pretty often. Even after a good weekend or getting good sleep, I’m still tired. People would ask me “why?”…I had the same question for myself as well. Then I finally realized that I’m not physically tired, but mentally and spiritually tired. Which would directly affect my body. I sometimes overthink or worry too much about a lot of things and “Tired” is, really, just being honest about that side of me. I know I’m not the only one who feels this way, so I wanted my story of being tired to act as their voice and expression of that same tiredness. It also helped me to realize that I’m not alone in feeling this way, as well HYPNOTICASIA: How are the lyrics usually developed for your songs? What is the process like? NIve: I first write as if I’m writing in my own personal diary and then develop the lyrics from there. I’ve learned that my lyrics are always way more powerful and real when I’m honest with myself in writing them. HYPNOTICASIA: Would you say your music reveals your personal story and experiences? NIve: Absolutely. All my songs are extremely personal. HYPNOTICASIA: Before arriving in the U.S., you lived in both South Korea and Australia. Do you feel that living in multiple countries has helped you develop as an artist? If so, how? NIve: Living in different countries really opened my eyes and mind up. Through experiencing different cultures and lifestyles, I learned to think differently and my ears became less selective when it came to different genres of music. I’ve become familiar with the word “adaptation” more after living in multiple countries and I think that’s really translated to my music. HYPNOTICASIA: How would you describe your music to someone who may not have heard it before? NIve: That’s a tough one…I think it’s tough to categorize my music in one genre because I draw inspiration from so many different places and artists. The easiest way to talk about it would be to call it “hybrid pop.” It combines a lot of my musical roots, but in the form of music that’s easy to listen to. HYPNOTICASIA: What message are you trying to convey with your music? Do most of your songs give the same message or do they all have different meanings? NIve: I would say “Self-empowerment”. Each of my songs talk about different topics or themes, but the main goal for all the music I release will have the ultimate message of “It’s okay not to be okay.” HYPNOTICASIA: How would you say you have developed since you debuted? NIve: I learned much more about myself after my debut. Throughout the process of songwriting, performing on stage, and knowing that there are people who care about my music – they’ve all given me such huge inspiration to me as an artist. I feel more responsible as an artist these days, knowing that people can be touched and comforted through something like a song that I sing. HYPNOTICASIA: We heard you co-wrote “Beautiful Goodbye” sung by Chen of EXO. The song hit number 1 in 45 countries upon its release. How did you feel about the success of this song? NIve: Can I first say that Chen is an amazing vocalist? He’s an awesome human being and I’m thankful for all the people who supported both Chen and “Beautiful Goodbye.” I honestly did not know the song would be so big until I started getting DM’s from Chen’s fans saying thank you for writing the song. I’m beyond grateful. HYPNOTICASIA: What is the biggest problem you have encountered on your journey through music? NIve: Myself. It’s always a battle between me and myself.
Everyday I have to face myself and sometimes…that’s really hard. I’m learning to love myself more and more as time goes by, though! HYPNOTICASIA: Who or what are your biggest influences? How have they influenced you? NIve: My parents. They’ve been my foundation. Whatever decision I made in my life, they’ve always supported me in it. Their patience for me has taught me a lot and makes me want to become more like them. HYPNOTICASIA: You are a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer. Do you enjoy hearing your songs sung by other artists? (i.e., Chen’s “Beautiful Goodbye”) NIve: I love it. It’s always so interesting to hear how other artists interpret a song that I write and portray that on stage. I’m thankful that other artists even want to sing the songs I write for them! HYPNOTICASIA: Can we expect new music releases in the near future? NIve: Yes. Way more songs to come very soon! HYPNOTICASIA: If you weren’t doing music, what do you think you’d be doing instead? NIve: Music has always been the biggest thing for me, so it’s hard to imagine anything outside of it. But if I had to choose, I’d probably be trying to do something related to deep space. HYPNOTICASIA: What advice would you give to an up and coming artist? NIve: Before thinking about who’s going to love you, learn to love yourself first. Then everything will fall in its rightful place.
Quick Answers: Coffee or energy drink? Coffee coffee coffee!! Favorite Instrument? These days, the piano. Favorite Song (from another artist)? Lolo Zouai – Caffeine
