#How to Use Tretinoin cream

Note
hello! you seem to know a lot about skincare stuff, so i'm curious what products you use for general daily use? i also have adult acne and it's very annoying. i would also appreciate any lip moisturizing ideas if you have any. thank you, and hope your day's going well!
oh yes! although fair warning that I am not a skincare expert at all (I don't even understand half the lingo that people use when they talk about products lol) so take any of my recommendations with a grain of salt...
other than sunscreen, literally all of the stuff I use is either from paula's choice, the ordinary, or good old cerave. I don't even bother trying other brands at this point because I assume they'll just be overpriced junk—plus, you can get almost all cerave products and a good chunk of the ordinary's products at, like, target. I'd also note that you don't need to (and really should not) go out and buy a million things at once; I have a pretty good arsenal at this point but it took me a couple years to build it up by trying one or two new products at a time and seeing what I like.
both paula's choice and the ordinary have "shop by concern" sections on their websites, so if you want actual targeted advice about what to try then I would definitely defer to them lol. but for some specific examples of what I like:
diehard fan of cerave face soaps. they have a foaming pump and a non-foaming pump, depending on whether your skin is more oily or more dry. I mostly use the latter, but since noelle uses the former I'll occasionally steal a pump of the foamy one if I'm having an oily streak lol.
likewise with cerave moisturizer, specifically for your body, but also works great on your face as a final skincare step. will not make you break out. however (important info incoming!!!) the pump lotion is far inferior to the giant tub of lotion—the pump stuff is just kind of watery and sad in comparison. get the tub. you deserve it.
the ordinary hyaluronic acid 2% serum is another "help I have dry skin but also acne" lifesaver. you can apply it directly to (damp!!!) skin or (wet!!!) hair or put a couple drops in your lotion for extra-moisturizing lotion. but it works by drawing outside moisture into your skin/hair, so make sure you're not applying it to dry skin/hair or it can backfire and actually dry you out.
paula's choice enriched calming toner = dry skin savior.
for acne specifically, paula's choice pore-reducing toner fucking rules. it's not harsh at all so you can use it as much as you want. pairs well with paula's 5% AHA exfoliant (which only use when I'm really flaky, since it is a little harsh, but you can temper it by applying lotion right after).
the ordinary azelaic acid 10% suspension is a little tingly, so I only use it when I'm actively breaking out (which tbf is often lol), but it's a great at starving out pimples.
from the paula's choice CLEAR line, I looooove the purifying clay mask. I use this one a couple times a week as needed, usually right after I get out of the shower, and then I'll wash it off and do the rest of my face potions as usual. even if my skin is pretty clear I just like how tight and clean everything feels after. I also recently tried the CLEAR 5% benzoyl peroxide daily skin clearing treatment (only because I got it as a free gift... otherwise I would Not have tried a benzoyl peroxide product lmao. bad memories of childhood acne treatment snake oil shit.) and was surprised how much I liked it, although I've been applying it verrry sparingly. the bottle recommends applying it (1) to your entire face and (2) EVERY DAY, but I've had luck using it as a sporadic spot treatment. pairs well with the enriched calming toner.
I've also been using this prescription tretinoin cream off and on for the past year (from the dubious skincare-as-a-service online pharmacy "forhers" lol) and it's Good but not a miracle. my skin is already pretty sensitive so I try not to use it that often, but it would probably work a lot better if it did. also makes you photosensitive as hell so watch out (sunscreen is a must).
specifically for lip moisturizer, nothing beats plain old burt's bees lip balm imo but if you need something heavy-duty I do like the paula's choice lip and body treatment balm. it's a little greasy but has great staying power and the tub lasts forever!
also important to note. you should always do stuff in this order: wash your face (duh) > toner > other stuff > lotion/moisturizer. I know you're supposed to do the "other stuff" in a specific order if you're stacking multiple products but tbh I just kind of wing it lol.

How you skin so clear bro? I'm tryna be a pretty lil bih like you 😭😭
“Pretty lil bih” is crazyyy😭
But anyway
Morning:
1. CeraVe cream to foam cleanser or CeraVe Acne Foaming Cream Cleanser
You just need something simple and gentle. If you’re having a break out, use something with salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide (leave on for 3-5 minutes to allow the active ingredients to work)
2. Naturium Tranexamic Acid Brightening Treatment
Mostly for antioxidant support throughout the day. Antioxidants prevent free radical damage that can result in collagen breakdown. It contains tranexamic acid, alpha arbutin, and kojic acid -in addition to being antioxidants they are also tyrosinase inhibitors that prevent the formation of dark spots.
3. Sunscreen
Most important step! SPF 30 or higher
Just find something that works for you and apply it EVERY morning (~1/4 tsp or two finger lengths for the face and neck)
Night:
1. CeraVe cream to foam cleanser
2. Naturium Tranexamic Acid Brightening Treatment
3. Tretinoin (prescription) HOLY GRAIL
Topical retinoids are the gold standard for fighting acne, sun damage, and aging. It works on the cellular level to increase cell turn over, collagen synthesis, blood vessel formation. You must be consistent and it take 8-12 weeks before results are visible. 👨🏾‍🔬
Adapalene and other retinols are available otc. and can be more beginner friendly.
4. CeraVe Baby Lotion ( has similar ingredients to the their night cream but it has way more product for a better price lol)
Miscellaneous:
Paula’s Choice BHA or CeraVe Acne Control gels
These are exfoliants I use once or twice a week if my skin is dull or textured
A dermatologist is probably the best person to ask for skincare advice, so if you have access I highly recommend booking a consultation. They’re also teledermatology services that can things a bit more accessible.
Good luck bro 🧍🏾‍♂️🤎

do you have a skincare routine (and how many steps is it)?
(asking bc I know chicky must’ve educated you on this topic extensively LMAO)
obviously yes but I would be nowhere without my guru @chickywickers. the skincare routine has also adapted recently to incorporate products recommended by @rowanisawriter, who is also a skincare girlie.
AM
Skip the face wash! I just use micellar water or regular water don't @ me
Serum: Jan Marini Bioclear Face Lotion (just in one little area I'm fighting some hyperpigmentation in - it's $$$ but it works)
Serum: ZO Daily Power Defense OR Glossier Vitamin C on Rowan's rec
Moisturizer: Currently using Good Science Beauty 004-Br Skin Brightening Cream but I haven't settled on anything I love in a while - taking recs!
Sunscreen: Beauty of Joseon sunscreen!
PM
Face Wash: I alternate but either the Kate Somerville Sensitive Skin Cleanser or the Ole Henrikson Vitamin C one
Serum: Either repeat 2 and 3 from AM or do Arazlo (the newfangled version of prescription tretinoin called trazarotene idk my derm gave it to me)
Moisturizer: I just ran out of Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Dream Night Cream - holy shit I love this stuff, I will be repurchasing eventually - but I just picked up the Watermelon Glow AHA Night Treatment again on Rowan's rec (it's been years since I've tried but I love it)
CeraVe Eye Repair Cream - I don't like this, I want something different
Oil: I just ran out of my Biossance Rose and Squalane oil and cheaped out and replaced it with the Ordinary Rose Hip Seed Oil, which is not nearly as nice but does the trick
Sometimes I'll top it off with a little Vanicream if I want to be extra moisturized lol

March favorites?
Tretinoin and a 2% BHA serum.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
These 2 are a very powerful combo. I only use BHAs once a week, there are people who use it every single day and it is true that is a lot more gentle compared to other chemical exfoliators but I do not want to overexfoliate my skin or disrupt my skin barrier again like last year (when I would use the highest percentages of Vitamin C, AHA, Retinoids every day) so I make sure I only use it when I really need it. I use Tretinoin for anti-aging purposes only, it does not require a prescription where I live so I can get it at any pharmacy. 0.1% is the highest concentration available on the market and some people purge like crazy but I have been using it for on and off 4 years so my skin is used to it. My skin is far from perfect and sometimes I break out due to hormones, stress or lack of sleep and I need products to improve my skin texture. One of my favorite things is applying my 0.1% Tretinoin on Friday night and on Monday my skin begins flaking, I take my BHA Serum massaging it into my skin and it gets rid of all my dead skin cells and I love how my skin looks smooth and glowy the next days.
Garnier Hyaluronic Aloe Replumping Superserum.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I would never really purchase something from Garnier. However, my aunt was recently diagnosed with preoral dermatitis (it's terrible) and her dermatologist told her to stop using any makeup or skincare so she gave me most of her cosmetics that I have been trying out the past few weeks. This is one of my favorites. Whenever I use a hydrating ingredient I always spritz my face with water first to maximize its benefits and this serum makes my skin feel so much more hydrated and fresh, it has a very calming & pleasant smell, and I sometimes add another layer depending on my skin's needs. It gives me the perfect base before I move on to applying my skin makeup. What makes this serum amazing is that it includes so many different hydrating ingredients - Aloe, Hyaluronic Acid, Glycerin... My skin loves this superserum so I use this one quite often.
Missha A'pieu BB Maker SPF 30/PA++
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is another product that proves to me that Korean makeup products are amazing. The BB creams I've tried from Western brands have been lackluster at best, they never match my skin tone, they look off on me but I bought this in 212 Natural Beige and it is so perfect. It's called 'BB cream' but this product is so high coverage that I would almost call it a foundation. When my order first arrived, I was shocked at how small the product was, I thought I'm gonna finish it in two weeks tops but the thing is you put 1/2 a pea size on the back of your hand and realize you could easily cover your whole face with it. I don't know how that's possible but you really need soooo little, only a teeny tiny amount and it's something I still need to learn, I put a 3/4 pea just to be safe and it always turns out to be way too much. I know someone who works for Missha so I got this product at a heavy discount, I ordered 2 and she sent 4, what a darling and what an amazing excuse to buy more products!
Apple AirPods (3rd Generation).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
These were a gift from my mom, my Huawei Freebuds stopped working and I've been complaining about it nonstop so she surprised me with a pair of Airpods 3, she was torn between the 2 and 3 so she gave me the receipt to let me decide. I went in the next day and got them exchanged, and I love them. I can do calls, binge my shows, participate in virtual meetings, listen to podcasts on my way to uni, listen to music for hours on end with no issues and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a pair of good headphones, the battery lasts a long time as well. The headphones may feel weird at the beginning, like they could fall out any second which is why I was hesitant in the beginning but I got used to it, it does not bother me anymore. I also got a cute little case, it's silver stoned and I am not really a bling person but I did not want to get silicone because they stain and rip, I wanted to try something different, so I just went ahead and bought this one, I love how it sparkles and it is pretty much impossible to damage.
A White Long Sleeved Leotard.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I am obsessed with this long sleeved leotard, it is a game changer and I think this is the best purchases I have made this year. It literally solves 90% of all my cloth-related problems. When I go to the dance studio, I throw this on with my black leggings as a base layer, I just have to take off my skirt and I am good to go within seconds. The material is stretchy but very fitted and I love how the fabric feels on my skin, I also how it looks on me and how it emphasizes my slim arms and my small waist. The fabric is very thin but it is not see through so I can wear my cropped wrap tops and all my see through tops over it without looking frumpy. I love a fitted look so I can wear it on its own with a pleated dark navy skirt or a black pencil skirt (my favorite) as well. It is a 10/10 and I have already purchased many more in various colors and this is the type of thing I never knew I needed.
Love, Cat.

the routine !!! plssss !!!!
yes of course!!!! disclaimer that all of this may not work for you obv but i think these are all really good products at least 💃🏻 also i have normal veeeeery slightly on the sensitive side skin that is prone to drying out slightly especially from stripping cleansers and also very acne prone esp hormonal acne around my mouth/chin area. i went on accutane in high school which permanently dried my skin out (used to be sooooooo extremely oily) but my acne has come back in recent years
Tumblr media
this is the am routine i use
biologique recherche p50 and p50w alternating days- these do the majority of heavy lifting in the morning they are the best chemical exfoliants i have tried ever! veeeeery expensive unfortunately like idk how im gonna buy more when these run out :( but great ingredients and very effective. p50 original is very harsh so i use p50w which is for sensitive skin every other day
mad hippie vitamin c serum-this has gotten rid of all of my freckles LOL which kind of makes me sad but shows that this is effective doesnt it! i feel like it has brightened my skin up significantly…time will tell if it can fade the crazy hyperpigmentation i have going on i will update but hopefully! its very gentle and non irritating as well
stratia liquid gold- one thing i have learned and recently come to terms with in my skincare journey is that you do NOT need to be slapping on 500 different heavy thick hydrating lotions essences and creams every day to be hydrated. in fact your skin might not agree with that! and as much as i like a super thick moisturizer my skin does not unfortunately. and this is so lovely and nourishing while still being light!! its a cult favorite for a reason it is truly excellent and especially good for daytime underneath spf
spf- i just use basically any sunscreen i have laying around LMAO biore is my fav along with the dr g green mild up sun but i use them sparingly for days i know im gonna be in heavy sun exposure. i also like any la roche posay ones basically and elta md (too expensive though) and missha 🙂 i DONT like silicone based sunscreens that slide all over ur face like the supergoop unseen sunscreen
Tumblr media
pm routine
clean it zero-BEEEEEEEST cleansing balm also only cleansing balm ive tried but why mess with perfection…great texture gets everything off so easily…and affordable yas
lrp toleriane hydrating cleanser- better than the cerave hydrating cleanser! doesnt do a lot but cleanses your face so gently without feeling greasy or weird like some hydrating cleansers tbh. not stripping/drying at all either which a loooot of cleansers do to me cuz for some reason my skin is especially sensitive to them
adapalene- luv me some retinoids i use this every night cuz my skin is so used to it! you can get this over the counter as differin or lrp effaclar i think. i want to make the switch to tretinoin soon though i think🤔 works so well for acne combined with the rest of a good routine! i put this on a dry face and then wait like 2-3 minutes before continuing w the rest of my skincare
stratia rewind- idk i just like having a niacinamide serum in my routine and this is a good one with excellent ingredients and vitamins and stuff. is it doing a lot of heavy lifting…idk not really! but its good and affordable
and stratia liquid gold again! again i find my skin likes a light layer of hydration best instead of slapping a pound of nivea cream or smth on there
and then i go to sleep and i wake up and my skin is gettjng better every day and if i do get a zit it goes away like within a day or so 🙂 sorry this is so long i hope this helps mwaaaaaaaaaah

HARM REDUCTION GUIDE TO FACIAL SKIN PICKING
DISCLAIMER: I am not any kind of professional except a professional artist
So obviously the best thing to do would be to avoid picking altogether, but we all know it’s a compulsion/addiction and you can’t always control yourself. If you DO end up picking, here’s a step by step guide on how to leave the least amount of damage.
1. When you pick, wrap a t shirt around your fingers and press instead of using your nails or tweezers. Stretch the skin first, then squeeze it a maximum of two times. Don’t press so hard that you abrade the skin or make a blood blister. If you do detach a layer of skin, immediately flatten the skin back down and put a thick layer of antibiotic ointment on it after cleaning your face, being careful not to disturb the wound. Don’t pick existing wounds that don’t have a white ring of pus around them; if it does, you can press down on the scab to drain it, but don’t squeeze it horizontally.
2. After you pick, wash your face with soap/cleanser (preferable) or wipe it with a facial wipe (second best thing), preferably one that is specifically formulated for facial oils and dirt and not just a makeup remover. I find that tea tree oil and charcoal are good ingredients for reducing inflammation. My personal favorite is Epielle Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser which is a cheaper dupe for Biore charcoal cleanser.
3. Apply a medicated moisturizer for broken/distressed skin. I’ve seen amazing results from Aveeno Restorative Skin Therapy Oat Repairing Cream. It’s good to find a quick-absorbing moisturizer to avoid irritating your wounds.
4. If you want to stop the bleeding, dab your smaller wounds with a styptic pencil. Apply medicated ointment and/or hydrocolloid patches. If you don’t have a prescription, use benzoyl peroxide ointment. It’s a good idea to see a dermatologist if your insurance will cover it. Most of them are experienced with dermatillomania and will prescribe you a morning medication and a night medication (usually tretinoin, which also helps reduce scarring). Apply antibiotic ointment to any large wounds. Sometimes you can find hydrocolloid patches at the dollar store or buy a large package of hydrocolloid bandages and cut them up. They’re also selling Starface packs at some Walmarts now for about ten dollars, which are colorful star-shaped patches.
5. Try not to disturb your scabs as they heal. If you pick again, use a different spot. I like to pull ingrown hairs out of my legs with tweezers to take some of the stress off my face.; if you do it right by gripping the tiny amount of hair just above the surface, you can actually just pull the hair out from under the skin without making a wound. You could try playing a mobile game like Cocoppa Play, Shining Nikki, or Purristas Cat Cafe. I also find crocheting helpful.
Oh and just as a side note, I find that fruit acid based facial cleansers used with hot water really help with reducing the look of picking injuries before I go out in public. I use Aveeno Positively Radiant In-Shower Facial.
Stay safe guys, and remember, one relapse doesn’t throw all your progress away. You still have your learned coping mechanisms. Your face will still look better in a week if you stop now.

Skin bleach for scars
Acne, mosquito bites, burns, surgical scars, hives, ant bites, flea bites, scrapes and scratches all cause dark spots and dark marks. Unfortunately, after your skin heals from injury the dark marks/spots that appear are permanent. It may seem hopeless in trying to get rid of these unsightly blemishes, but it can be done. You can bleach scars away. The ONLY way to get rid of dark spots & blemishes is with a hydroquinone based skin whitener, and exfoliation. Use the tools and instructions below to target your dark spots and other dark blemishes. Before you target those specific dark areas, you must prime your skin as instructed below. Skin bleach for scars
MATERIALS NEEDED:
• Strong Skin Bleach
• Saliclear
• Fine Eyeliner Brush
• Toothpick
• Medium Makeup Brush
• Acne Kit and Tretinoin Gel 0.10%
YOUR FACE
Before you proceed, it is important that you start taking care of your skin to prevent all the dark spots caused by acne. I’ll be writing a complete guide on how to cure acne. When I do I’ll update this post with a link to that post.First, retrieve the cleanser from the ‘Acne Free Kit’. Squeeze some into your hand then add a pinch of baking soda. Wet your other hand then rub the mix together with both hands. Go ahead & start gently scrubbing your face all over in a circular motion. Rinse your face with luke warm water. Dry your face. Then apply your Tretinoin Gel all over your face neck and ears, rub it in well until it absorbs. Now apply your skin bleaching cream. Do this treatment twice a day, minus the baking soda & Tretinoin Gel. Scrub with the backing soda once a day and follow the directions that come with the Tretinoin gel on frequency of use.
After 5 days, start applying your scar bleach cream ONLY to your dark spots scars & blemishes. Use your brush, dip it into the skin bleaching cream, then paint it on to your dark spots or scratches, avoiding the surrounding normal skin. For tiny dark spots or hairline scratches/scars, use a toothpick to apply your bleaching cream to those. You can even sharpen the toothpick tip down to a very tiny thin point, a razor blade works best for this. Do this treatment 2-3 times a day until your blemishes/scars/dark spots/scratches have faded and the area is now the same skin tone as the surrounding normal skin.
YOUR BODY
After a shower, dry your skin completely. Then apply your Saliclear, rub it in good until it absorbs. Now apply your skin bleaching cream. Do this treatment twice a day, minus the Salicear. Follow the Saliclear product instructions for frequency of use. Bleach your butt
After 5 days, start applying your bleaching cream ONLY to your dark spots scars & blemishes. Use your brush, dip it into the skin bleaching cream, then paint it on to your dark spots or scratches, avoiding the surrounding normal skin. Do this treatment 2-3 times a day until your blemishes/scars/dark spots/scratches have faded and the area is now the same skin tone as the surrounding normal skin. If you can’t take 2-3 showers a day, just use a wet soapy wash cloth to clean the area first. Then dry the area and proceed with the steps above.

Unveiling Radiance: The Science Behind Pigmentation Removal Cream
Pigmentation issues, such as dark spots, uneven skin tone, and hyperpigmentation, are common concerns for many individuals. These skin imperfections can arise from various factors, including sun exposure, hormonal changes, aging, and certain medical conditions. In recent years, pigmentation removal cream have gained popularity as a non-invasive solution to address these concerns. These creams often claim to lighten dark spots, even out skin tone, and restore a radiant complexion. The effectiveness of these products lies in the science behind their formulation and ingredients.
Tumblr media
Understanding Pigmentation
pigmentation removal creamBefore delving into the science behind pigmentation removal creams, it's crucial to understand how pigmentation occurs in the skin. Melanin, a pigment produced by melanocytes in the skin, is responsible for giving skin its color. When melanocytes become overactive or damaged due to factors like sun exposure or hormonal changes, they can produce excess melanin, leading to hyperpigmentation and dark spots.
Key Ingredients in Pigmentation Removal Creams
Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs): AHAs such as glycolic acid and lactic acid are commonly found in pigmentation removal creams. These acids work by exfoliating the outer layer of the skin, removing dead skin cells and promoting cell turnover. This process helps fade dark spots and reveal brighter, more even-toned skin.
Vitamin C: Vitamin C is a potent antioxidant that inhibits melanin production and helps fade existing pigmentation. It also protects the skin from environmental damage caused by free radicals, which can contribute to dark spots and uneven skin tone.
Retinoids: Retinoids, including retinol and prescription-strength retinoids like tretinoin, are known for their ability to stimulate collagen production and speed up cell turnover. They can effectively fade dark spots over time and improve overall skin texture and tone.
Hydroquinone: Hydroquinone is a skin-lightening agent that works by inhibiting the activity of melanocytes, reducing melanin production, and fading dark spots. However, its use is regulated in some countries due to potential side effects, so it's essential to use it under medical supervision.
Licorice Extract: Licorice extract contains compounds that inhibit tyrosinase, an enzyme involved in melanin production. It can help lighten dark spots and even out skin tone without the potential side effects associated with hydroquinone.
Niacinamide: Also known as vitamin B3, niacinamide helps reduce the transfer of melanin to skin cells, resulting in a more even complexion. It also has anti-inflammatory properties that can calm skin irritation and redness often associated with pigmentation issues.
How Pigmentation Removal Creams Work
Pigmentation removal creams combine these key ingredients to target different aspects of pigmentation issues:
Exfoliation: AHAs like glycolic acid and lactic acid exfoliate the skin, removing dead skin cells and promoting cell turnover. This process helps fade dark spots and reveal brighter, more even-toned skin.
Melanin Inhibition: Ingredients like hydroquinone, licorice extract, and niacinamide work by inhibiting melanin production or transfer, leading to a reduction in dark spots and hyperpigmentation.
Antioxidant Protection: Vitamin C and other antioxidants protect the skin from environmental damage, including UV radiation and free radicals, which can worsen pigmentation issues.
Cellular Renewal: Retinoids stimulate collagen production and cell turnover, leading to improved skin texture and a more youthful appearance. They also help fade dark spots over time.
Scientific Evidence Supporting Efficacy
Numerous studies have investigated the efficacy of ingredients commonly found in pigmentation removal creams:
AHAs: A study published in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology found that AHAs, particularly glycolic acid, were effective in reducing hyperpigmentation and improving overall skin tone when used consistently over several weeks.
Vitamin C: Research published in the Journal of Clinical and Aesthetic Dermatology supports the use of vitamin C for reducing melanin production and improving the appearance of dark spots and uneven skin tone.
Retinoids: Clinical trials have demonstrated the efficacy of retinoids in treating hyperpigmentation, with improvements observed in both the intensity and size of dark spots over time.
Hydroquinone: While hydroquinone is effective in lightening dark spots, its long-term use can lead to side effects such as skin irritation and potential rebound hyperpigmentation, highlighting the importance of using it under medical supervision.
Licorice Extract: Studies have shown that licorice extract, particularly its active component glabridin, can inhibit tyrosinase activity and lighten dark spots without adverse effects.
Niacinamide: Research published in the International Journal of Cosmetic Science has demonstrated the skin-brightening effects of niacinamide, making it a valuable ingredient in pigmentation removal formulations.
Conclusion
In conclusion, pigmentation removal creams leverage the science behind key ingredients such as AHAs, vitamin C, retinoids, hydroquinone, licorice extract, and niacinamide to target and address various pigmentation issues effectively. These ingredients work synergistically to exfoliate the skin, inhibit melanin production, protect against environmental damage, stimulate cellular renewal, and improve overall skin tone and texture. Scientific evidence supports the efficacy of these ingredients, highlighting their role in achieving a brighter, more radiant complexion. However, it's essential to use pigmentation removal creams as directed and to consult a dermatologist for personalized advice, especially when dealing with persistent or severe pigmentation concerns.

Tazarotene gel 0.05 % is used to treat psoriasis or acne. It is a retinoid product, related to Vitamin A.
It works amazingly by affecting the growth of skin cells. It is known to be the most amazing treatment ever for acne; it feels like its renewing and refreshing the skin when you sleep and helps to clear up your skin.
This gel is highly recommended for topical use. Wash and dry your hands before and after applying this gel.
Since I was at the age of 13 I’ve had cystic acne. I got both hormonal cysts on my jawline and a different type of acne on my cheeks.
I’ve tried several topical medications in my teenage years and oral antibiotics.
When I touched at my early 20’s I was good at concealing my blemishes with beauty makeup products.
However, I heard about this amazing Tazarotene gel. I ordered and started using it.
After six months, I had experienced nearly all the side effects that were possible with this gel.
I was miserable, but then I observed my skin had cleared up and there were no blemishes.
After a year, they came back, but not nearly as bad. About 5 years later, I broke out extremely badly.
It was the worst breakout I had ever experienced. My dermatologist was very helpful; he provided the collection of samples of Tretinoin creams building up in strength.
He gave me clear instructions about how to start with the weakest and use for 2 weeks before moving to the next strongest.
My final prescription was to be the Tazorac cream at 0.05%. It took a couple of months, but I had clear skin once more.
Tumblr media
I used it for many years until I couldn’t afford to buy another tube.
The Tazret gel is an excellent topical retinoid for acne treatment, but it, like other retinoids, can be drying.
To get the best results, use just a green pea-sized quantity on the whole face at bedtime only.
Tazarotene gel 0.05 % is known as a topical retinoid and a very effective treatment option for acne.
It does not matter if you apply the moisturizer on, over or under the Tazret gel. Use a gentle moisturizing cleanser and avoid using scrubs.
If you feel that your skin gets too dry or irritated, you can apply a moisturizer 10 minutes after applying the Tazret gel.
Most results take about 5-6 months to get clearance of acne and improvement of sun damage.

What Are The Causes Of Stretch Marks?
Stretch marks occur when your body quickly grows for any reason, and your skin can't stretch enough to keep up. This results in the formation of fine lines or streaks on skin which can vary in colors from pink to purple to silver.
How To Treat Stretch Marks?
Tumblr media
It may be challenging to remove or eliminate stretch marks, but unfortunately there are various treatment options available to help you improve their appearance. Some of the treatments include.
Tropical Retinoid Therapy
Some people find that tretinoin (a retinoid) or retinol works better for them than other products. If you apply it in the early stages every night for 24 weeks, it helps to make it less noticeable. However, the cream has some side effects if not used as directed.
Excimer Laser Therapy
The excimer laser therapy exposes stretch marks to targeted ultraviolet- B (UVB) light. A study showed that it’s safe and can be treated over 1 to 4 months, which helps to treat pigmented problems caused by stretch marks.
Fractional Co2 Laser Therapy
It is a new treatment that smooths out old, white stretch marks. One study showed that individuals’s stretch marks fade after a few treatment sessions compared to those who used topical creams with glycolic acid and tretinoin.
Who is the best doctor for stretch marks treatment?
If you are struggling with stretch marks and seeking effective treatment. You can consider visiting Dr. Swati Agarwal at the Skination Clinic. The best Skin Clinic in Faridabad uses the Excimer Laser, topical lotions, and PRP and microneedling procedure for stretch marks management. I think people trying to lie about Hailey Bieber’s influence in the beauty world are so lame. It’s incredible how influential she is lol I’d say even bigger than a lot of models/influencers now.
I live in Latin America and she basically made tretinoin acid such a big deal in the skin care world. All the skin care girls started using it or looking at it with their dermatologists after she named it on one of her skincare videos and now it’s a very searched cream at pharmacies here. You search that on TikTok and almost every video is Hailey related. Everything she puts on her face people immediately look for. The “Hailey Bieber glazed nails” back in 2021 were such a big thing in nail salons everywhere. The strawberry make up trend late last year. She also made the whole flat loafers shoes with white socks with preppy mini skirts a whole thing. Everyone here in Latam associates that look with her. Her street style is in everyone’s mood board.
She basically made the “clean girl look” a thing and everyone associates Hailey with clean look, skin care and light natural makeup. Rhode has grown so much and it’s barely 2 years old. I also see how everyone wants to copy her marketing aesthetic now and just the way she promotes her line w every release having an editorial launch.
The phone case thing was a HUGE deal. The moment it came out other brands started trying to copy, even Porsche released a phone case to put your key on it (as a joke, they even credited Hailey in the post lol) but like, her influence cannot he denied. Even people trying to put other stuff in the phone case are giving her money regardless. She’s really smart when it comes to marketing and she’s a good creative director and people want to discredit her all the time for being Justin’s wife and it’s weird.
Her smoothie is now part of the LA culture and even made it to an Oscars monologue lol
Like, she’s really super influential and she doesn’t really do much for it. She just needs to post some TikTok doing a skin care rutine and she’ll create a trend out of it. It’s crazy.
Hailey is definitely an IT girl!!!!! She is the fashion and beauty inspo of 2023-2024

Conclusion
An effective anti-aging regimen should tackle several skin problems at once. The problem is, you can’t squeeze the best skin-care ingredients—like retinoids and alpha hydroxy acids—into one bottle without causing a chemical reaction or serious irritation. Until now. Researchers at Skin Better Science have figured out a way to mix retinoids (which fade discoloration and kick up collagen production) with lactic acid (an alpha hydroxy acid that evens out skin tone and texture). Each active ingredient is encapsulated in its own bubbles, and those bubbles are linked together to create the new ethyl lactyl retinoate molecule. When you put the cream on, the water in your skin kick-starts a release of the active ingredients that’s gradual and gentle—but effective. “Lactic acid, a humectant and mild chemical peel, enhances the wrinkle reduction that comes from retinol,” says cosmetic chemist Jim Hammer. In fact, in company-sponsored studies, the formula was as effective at smoothing lines and fading discoloration as tretinoin (a prescription-strength retinoid) without causing irritation.
