43 for the fic writer ask game?
43. Do you take a sadistic joy in whumping your characters, or are you more the "If you hurt them I would kill everyone and then myself" kind of person?
The first one for sure. Look, everytime I like a character one of the first things I write about them is angst.
The most recent fic I've written involves both characters that I like being in pain or scared for their life so... yeah.

I'm so glad you're pursuing the Machete Vasco romance arc. They're so cute together, their chemistry is *chefs kiss* and it definitely adds to the tragedy of Machete's fate.
I'm delighted to hear you think so!
Their relationship has been in the backburner for at least 6 years and probably more than that so this isn't a new development, I've been just too timid to really explore it in drawn form (and then there's the fact that at some point I managed to convince myself that my oc stuff is bad and embarrassing and people don't want to hear about it but I'm trying to get over that).

Hah...
It's kinda funny for me personally whenever I mention UPA, because the art style actually isn't the first thing that comes to mind for me. It's this guy:

Before I say my thoughts, I want to preface that sharing/reblogging the work of artists you love is one of the best non-monetary ways to support us. That’s really indisputable. Word-of-mouth alone has done wonders for my career. I understand why not getting the reception on your work that you want can be discouraging and upsetting. It’s really hard out here and I don’t want to downplay that.
That being said, I don’t care if you follow me just to lurk. I don’t care if you just exclusively “like” my art. I don’t care if you reblog without putting any comments in the tags. My output is not correlative to how many notes my posts get. I want you to like/share/comment on my work because you want to, and not because of some perceived social obligation.
I appreciate anyone who comes across my art and gets something out of it for any reason, and I don’t expect anything in return for that. I see a lot of posts on this topic, and it makes me uncomfortable that people might avoid just liking or lurking because of a perception that I would be mad or upset because they didn’t reblog it. I want my work, as silly and not-groundbreaking as it can be, to resonate earnestly, and I want the expression of that resonation to be earnest as well.

Being an Alfonse enjoyer is SO fucking funny bc one minute you're thinking "Shit this guy can actually be scary if you fucking think about it like he's so fucked up actually" and the next he's. Being dragged along by his little sister and her antics AND he's being a good sport about it. Like he clearly doesn't want to be here but he's not gonna complain. He's going to put his heart into it actually. Because Sharena is putting her whole heart into it!!!! And well. There has to be two of them (retainers). Duh. Obviously.

Sorry, looks like he (both of he) overheard. Big ears and all.
Just don’t mention which one’s your favorite, they’re getting along right now and I can’t afford the doctor’s bills if they start fighting again.
