My favorite video games are story based or FPS. I like The Stanley Parable, Picos School, Cry of Fear, Fallout, Bioshock, Overwatch, Doom, andddddd POSTAL!!!

Postal 2 and brain damaged are probably my favorite, but I love all of the postal games. I really just play those and doom all day.

Fight Club, Natural Born Killers, and Zero-Day are my #1 movies. I like horror shit, specifically psychological and body horror. Saw and Silence of the Lambs are my favorite horror movies. Favorite romcom is How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. I'm a dude who likes romcoms, cry about it. I also like Donnie Darko, Requiem for a Dream, Pulp Fiction, and Reservoir Dogs.

I love all music. Ive yet to find a genre i dislike. always open to recommendations. I like musicals and emo music a lot since I grew up with the two. My favorite genres are probably any metal, grunge, ska, pop punk/emo, and jazz. Top 3 bands: Queen, KMFDM, and Nirvana. Top 3 metal genres: Black, Death, and Industrial.

My favorite TC fellas are Andrew Blaze, Adam Lanza, Igor and Viktor, Dzhokhar, the unabomber, and obviously ReB and VoDkA, since I take so much inspiration from those retards. I've been into true crime since I was like 7. Adam was my favorite since i was conscious enough to learn about it, but nowadays Andrew fills that hole in my heart.

Uhhhh thats about it, follow me if you want and you get pissed off by me/dont like the tcc or tc then I dont care, the block button was made for a reason.

There is classical music in the background of some scenes of Hannibal. In S1:E5, there is the Mozart Clarinet Concerto (Movement 2: Adagio)!! I have played that before many times!!!

It is nice to hear again. Even though it makes me sad about not being able to play clarinet anymore.

So far, it is pretty much the only thing about Hannibal that I recognise/understand. It is still just as confusing and complicated as the first time I watch it. I probably will not finish it all, but maybe only rewatch the first season. (At least so I have a conclusion).

Classical Music Parallels in Hannibal

Hi I’m back with another classical music in Hannibal analysis!!

Ok so per my previous posts: Hannibal’s “theme” is Bach’s Goldberg variations. It plays in various pivotal moments in the show, including the first shot of Hannibal himself, after he kills Tobias Budge, the momentous season two finale, and also in the very last episode before he and will murder Dolerhyde. I also mention how this piece begins to represent Will as well. It’s “their song.”

But anywho I also noticed in season three, the relationship of Dolerhyde and Reba is meant to signify Will and Hannibal’s. I recall Reba’s line: “I try to avoid people to foster codependency and feed on it. The blind attract them.” And Will’s response: “Not just the blind.” Will and Reba have both found themselves entangled with some terrible people- yet they are both survivors. So, like Will and Hannibal, Reba and Francis’s also have a “song.” Theirs is Debussy’s Claire de lune. It plays the first time Reba comes over and they share a drink while Francis flips through his creepy slideshow. It also plays during their final scene together where Dolerhyde fakes his death and Reba escapes the burning building.

As I’ve said before- every aspect/plot detail of Hannibal can be explained further or confirmed by the music selections. (see my other posts for more, linked below)
