i liked the writing a lot!!!!! every character was super interesting

haruki (atou) , shinano n reiji (isoi) have a funnie group dynamic but haruki's interactions w everyone else are also great. my fav character outside the trio is aiba rn

the monsters themselves didn't really scare me that much personally (other than pochi?) but the horror aspect was still really strong n it put me on edge

for people who like character driven reading-heavy horror stories w religious themes i def recommend trying/watching this game, maybe it can help you with learning japanese too lol

Thank you, yes. I cannot think of a single person I love, not even the people I look at and go “wow I wish I was half as patient as them holy shiiiiiii,” who I have not argued with and who has not said something mildly hurtful to me or who I didn’t say something dumb to thst was meaner than I should’ve been. Those things seem to me to just be part of being human.

The way I look at it is, if a friend or partner does say something hurtful to me, do they care that my feelings are hurt? Do they want to make THAT part up to me, even if we still disagree about the thing?

And same for me. If I say something hurtful, I should own that. It’s not whether or not I vehemently disagree with someone that’s the issue. It’s not even whether I’m pissed off! Lots of things piss me off!

It’s whether I treat them well or badly, and whether I strive to recognize when I’ve done the second thing and put it right (and hopefully figure out what made me lash out, so I can be direct but not hurtful next time.)
