[ 8:37 PM ] — it was rare for heeseung to not feel good when he was on stage. i mean, yeah, he feels nervous everytime he steps on stage, but good nervous. always good nervous. mostly, he’s just excited and happy to be singing for everyone, giving his all. when the show’s done, he would have the biggest smile on his face.
or at least what everyone thought was the biggest smile that heeseung ever smiled. the moment he pushes the door of the dressing room, you’d be there smiling at him. now, heeseung’s smile has become even impossibly bigger. “who was that singing?” you would tease him with a smile. “i’d like his number and take him on a date, if possible.”
heeseung softly laughs, shrugging. “sorry, but he’s, uh, taken.” he goes along and you playfully make a sad aww sound with a pout. but the corners of your mouth started to lift, looking at the small bouquet of baby’s breath.
“well, this was supposed to be for him.” you say, eyes looking up at him and he smiles, coming towards you, pulling you by your waist as you smile.
“he would be grateful for these.” he says, smiling and you giggle, causing heeseung to press his lips against yours. “thank you, darling.” he mumbles against yours lips as you smile and lean your forehead against his.
but as heeseung pushes the door of the dressing room before the show starts, there was no you. no baby’s breath, no lovely smile that would always greet him, no smell of your perfume that always made him feel at home.
heeseung understands that there are times you can’t come to his show, but it was different this time. he checks his phone and receives no message from you. no ‘good luck’, no ‘i love you’, no encouraging memes from you, no nothing. yeah, you were probably busy, but heeseung’s heart aches at the date of your last message to him.
last week.
“heeseung,” the staff softly calls, knocking on the door and heeseung turns to them. “you’re on on five.”
“thanks.” heeseung weakly says and the staff sadly smiles, leaving him alone.
when heeseung went on stage, he started to sing. it was a sad song he randomly wrote, but now he feels sadder than ever. bluer than ever. he really feels like your relationship is slowly drifting apart and that’s all he could ever think of.
it wasn’t professional, he knows. but he couldn’t help it. after all, you were his inspiration. his motivation, the one that encouraged him to go after his dreams. the one that would reassure him that everything will be fine when he falls. the one that he leans on when he’s tired.
heeseung’s eyes goes to the crowd when the song was done. he wasn’t even sure if he was singing the right words, but important thing is, he got through the first song. his eyes look around, forcing a smile. that was until his eyes landed on familiar ones.
your smile grows into a grin and you wave at him. as if it was automatic, heeseung smiles widely. it wasn’t forced, it was genuine and you feel yourself falling for him all over again. heeseung performs with a smile on his face the whole time. an hour or two pass by, you don’t know, but heeseung is done, waves bye and thanks everyone. you immediately ran to his dressing room with the mandatory small bouquet of baby’s breath that you always give him.
you knock softly, opening the door and heeseung immediately stands up with a huge smile. he wraps his arms around your waist and hugs you tight as you wrap your own arms around his neck. he smiles, his nose on your neck as he pulls you impossibly closer.
now that he’s in your arms, he knows everything’s going to be okay.

i’ve been off tumblr so much this last week but i finally had time to read through the lola newspaper 🤭🤭
i squealed when i saw that you reblogged a pic of paul (even tho it was for oscar’s answer to it) 🥺 made me forget about the fact that i just witnessed his car get cut in (almost) half and just go up in flames 🥰
and the vid u posted of lando trying to guess oscar’s secret talent…. might be one of my faves now :(( so much about it!! the smiles, the giggles, the glances…. oscar trying to give him a hint…. the way they touch their temples at the end like “yeah we’re geniuses” 🫶
and lastly: sorry to hear that you’re getting sick :(((( hope u have a speedy recovery!! and that oscar suddenly appears in your home to take care of you <33 letting you rest your head on his chest, feeling his chest rise and lower underneath you as his hands stroke your back and arms, playing with you hair… giving you a little squeeze every once in a while because he just can’t contain himself, kissing your forehead… having to stick to just forehead, cheek and temple kisses because you insist that he can’t properly kiss you, not wanting him to be sick too, no matter how much he complains :( and i hope he cooks for you, all of your favorite comfort dishes, while also making sure you get the right nutrients and vitamins to make sure you get well as soon as possible…. him running out when you’re napping to get you some sweets and all kinds of stuff you might want 🫶
including some soft osc too in hopes that it will help you get better <333 hope u have a good day love!! and that you can catch up on some sleep after getting up so early 😚😚

This is so random….but I have distanced myself from the KP fandom and occasionally I’ve been checking on MA only …yesterday tho I was going through some of my saved clips on TikTok and I saw some of their old clips and I almost got emotional 🥲
The way that they were so awkward in the beginning..how at the mer mention of FS they cringed… sure they would say out of pocket stuff but still very tame compared to so many other CF who would literally kiss 😳 at fan meets and stuff …. But they would literally talk circles around the reporters who were asking weird couple questions… they would tell the fans how weird their FS requests were… they were so upfront about the whole ordeal that it makes me laugh at how ppl take what they do now as FS and I’m like … how is two people being so comfortable with each other that they are letting their guard down, is considered FS….like those two are so embarrassing sometimes bc it’s like dumb & dumber but like cute you know and it’s so refreshing to see. And you can see through old clips how embarrassed Apo would be when asked to “act” cute… but now you don’t even have to ask him he’s just so cute and it’s not an act he actually feels flustered and giggles so shyly and the urge to cuddle him and BBG him is there but like…it’s so natural you know….. like in this clip 👇🏽🥹🤏🏽

And all of this is a result of how comfortable he is around Mile and how he just naturally acts that way around him and it’s such a constant thing your able to see on the far and few bts clips that are shared of them that it’s just a MA dynamic and it’s bc they are at a point in their relationship that it’s just them being them. And you can see how they are not trying to “sell” us a cf bc they are not constantly attached at the hip and sharing pics of each other on the contrary….on the few occasions that they do share pics it’s either a single shot or a promotional pic for a event that they are going to have… and if we do find out that hey are together or hanging out it’s bc a fan meets them or later after months and months pass they will post something that betrays them. Other than that they will hold and keep those moments to themselves bc that’s how dear they hold them in their hearts 🤧 and with this I will leave some of my fave vids 🥹❤️

I'm glad you are taking care of your health and enjoying fandom the way that suits you best. Distancing yourself from noisy toxic people + checking in and enjoying things is a perfect way to enjoy fandom.
And yes, it's so lovely to see the growth of their relationship from tentative and trying to understand each other more. As I always say, they're living this the same time as us -- i was shocked when I looked back to stuff I was even around for and seeing how far they and we've come from there.

Pokémon cafe date cuz their very silly N adorable like them N that vid of Jere singing the Pokémon theme in Finnish got me out of writers block so yippee :D) get urself a fluffy blanket N ur fave snacks cuz I’m here 2 tell the story of the date that got our dear Bojci 2 propose 2 his man after waiting 4EVER 2 find a good time 2 pop the question: It had been almost a whole year by now since Bojan finally quit chickening out N asked the man with a weird haircut N a laugh that made his knees buckle N released a million butterflies straight 2 his stomach 2 be his boyfriend that memorable night which still comes back 2 him in his dreams even now,the man he was taking out on one of the last dates b4 he could hopefully call him his fiancé.The man in question was clad in one of Bojan’s various sweaters,same one he wore when they first made out wayy back in Tavastia after everything was done N the then brothers N maybe something more headed back 2 Jere’s 4 the night,a bouquet of dandelions in one hand which he hid behind his back till Jere saw the ever so familiar figure of his extremely gorgeous boyfriend.As soon as their eyes locked everything felt lighter,almost as if time had stopped right there so he could feel his Bojci’s lips on his own 4 however long the bowlcut adorning Finn wished,breaking the kiss only 2 catch some air N whip the large bouquet of dandelions from behind his back 2 give 2 his rakas (Bojan straight up lifted Jere N spun him around a few times cuz of how much he loved not only him but the gift he had been hiding all this time 🥰) putting the shorter man down N feeling him giggle into his chest,their hands intertwined N walked into the Pokémon cafe that Jere had been yapping on about 4 months.Finding their booth that Bojan had booked a week prior (while Jere got distracted by a set of Bulbasaur N Squirtle plushies that decorated the seats next 2 them which gave our lil Bojci time 2 check if the ring box was still in his pocket 4 later which he totallyyy didn’t check atlest 10 times tyvm :3).Meanwhile both men ordered N flirted 4 what felt like an eternity,staring deeper into his bby boos Disney princess esc eyes which made him almost forget why he chose this place 2 pop the question,as if his fragile ass nerves would let him tho.One by one their food was delivered with Bojan’s Rowlet shaped grill cheeses coming first then Jere’s Pikachu themed pancakes following after + the twos drinks,Jere’s being a Bulbasaur inspired hot chocolate with ALOT of foam N Bojan’s was an Evie themed latte with just as much foam as his boyfriends if not more (that kinda got all over his noise so Jere had 2 lick it off cuz yk he would but it’s not like Bojci’s complaining if its his beautiful,hot asf darling of a man doing it ☺️).When they both finished their meal N left the cafe Jere saw a stand filled 2 the brim with all kinds of flower bouquets in every colour,ribbon style U could think of,that was when Bojan knew he had 2 do it right there N then seeing how his soon 2 be fiancé’s eyes light up N how his smile could split his face in half if it was any bigger just by seeing the huge display made him stop questioning if he rlly wanted 2 marry the man who’s hands were pulling him with all the force he had 2 the stand so that’s just what Bojan did,as Jere turned 2 show his rakastani a beautifully decorated pink N yellow tulip bouquet he found it was on the floor as quickly as it was picked up,the sight narrowed 2 only the view of Bojan on one knee holding out a very expensive gold ring with two gems engraved into it,one pink N the other green when it all fell into place.HIS gorgeous,amazing,wonderful,lovely Slovene was asking him 4 his hand 2 set the promise of belonging only 2 the Finn forever in concrete,ofc he said yes N then they both cried into eachothers necks while hugging as if everything up until now would all disappear in a blink of an eye except the only thing that disappeared was then into a field close 2 the town where they could rlly set that promise in concrete if yk what I mean.
BOJERE POKéMON DATE THAT'S SO CUTE!!!!! The Rowlet grilled cheeses look fcking delicious ngl I would killll to have such a date with someone I love <3 The proposal too aggh they're too adorable!! I love how Bojan indulges Jere in his interests and them running off into a field together at the end is so sweet :') ❤️❤️ Thanks so much for the lovely moodboard and story as always 💚

I've never rly thought about good trios ngl, i've only ever looked at them as good duos, but nonetheless lemme give my little thoughts on SDMN's best duos n trios:
HARRY AND VIK - ofc, wroetostar, vikkshaw, it's just iconic... I mean, there's this video on YouTube which is the cutest compilation of their moments... idk, Harry's so outgoing n vibes and Vik's so down to earth and realistic - Harry's chaos rubs off on Vik and gets him out his comfort zone in such a way that Harry's constantly having a whale of a time - really lovely friendships n always shits n gigs when these two are paired up
SIMON AND TOBI - just bare wholesome - they're so cute w one another and the "buying presents" series is always such a sweet watch... Plus in this week's SDMN Sunday, Tobi for the first time showed some sorta homiesexuality which is j such always so goofy - i acc love the new genre of married YouTubers who are comfortable with now just flirting n being all homiesexual w their mates + the Tobi-Simon homiesexuality is always such a jokes watch
JJ AND JOSH - Bit of an odd one ik, but they're just so... well, odd. JJ's plain weird. He has a way with being a fuckin oddball constantly. and how do you fight fire? With fire. Josh somehow takes JJ's weirdness and ups it a level - literally shocking JJ whenever he does and actually making me love their friendship. Plus, BIG UP JJ, because him saying all that about Josh's new hair - literally saying that Josh was so hot at Vik's wedding n all that - I love the supportiveness n sheer weirdness in their friendship.
TOBI AND VIK - Wholesome, wholesome, wholesome! Gahh Tobi's always having a laugh with Vik which is a cute watch considering generally the SDMN push Vik away or aren't as jokeful with him... Good thing Tobi's always having a laugh with him though. And omds, their highlight on YouTube was in the Xmas cooking video on the SDMM channel, where Vik's drunk from Harry's enigmatic wine concoction and goes to Tobi for support, who gives him this big bear hug and laughs with him... Love these two for that <3
SIMON AND ETHAN - homiesexual kings honestly. Both down for a little giggle with one another, and they're both such a strange mixture of stubborn and easy-going, they either gel together as such a funny pairing or simply argue... But when they get on and fuck around, they're honestly hilarious as a duo. I mean, the Sidemen's most watched vid of the rich v cheap holiday in Europe showed their friendship so well imo, absolute cuties.
[27/02 ADDITION] - Simon and Deji - They're j so sweet together. That Deji chuckle-y laugh that Simon always makes happen + the way Simon always finds Dej so out of pocket but hilarious... Yeah, they're ofc a fave.

Ethan, Simon n Tobi - laid back trio, literally so chill n always having best vibes with one another
Gib w anyone. - trust me on this, if you've watched the camping video or even the camping clips you'll understand that this man is JOKES. honestly, always raising spirits and getting everyone laughing bc he's just flipping ridiculous sometimes

One of my friends has a birthday today, and my own birthday is less than a week away, so here is my brain dump of birthday tword ideas 🤭🤭🤭
For Lees/Switches
- Birthday Raspberries! one raspberry on their tum or neck for each year of the age they're turning 🙈🙈
- on that same note, twording the shit out of them for the same amount of minutes as the age they're turning (ex. turning 23 years old = 23 minutes of getting tworded)
- twording the lee to the time of the birthday song??? 🙈🙈🙈 aaaaaaaa?????
- mentioning the twords as a "birthday gift from the tword monster" 🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈
- audio teases of what exactly the ler wants to do to the lee 💕💕💕 (bonus points if it includes the lee's favorite tword spots 🙈)
For Lers/Switches
- the lee letting the tword monster get them for as many minutes as the age the ler is turning (ex. ler is turning 24 = lee gets tworded for 24 minutes)
- pretending that the lee's most twordish spot is the ler's birthday cake (or fave dessert for lers who don't like cake 💕) so that the ler nibbles all over it 🙈🙈🙈🙈
- spamming them with teasy pics and vids of the ler's most favorite spot on the lee 💕

name and whatever you want to share about yourself Y'all can find my real name with little to no digging but I'm Mano and I'm a queer neurodivergent middle-aged cislady who lives in the US with my pupper (who you can see on my blog) Lillie Bear/Lovebug/Buggy (depending on my mood) and my husband because yep queer gals sometimes marry people who don't share their sex/gender. when did you watch bad buddy/join the fandom? I wish I knew when I first watched. It was definitely after April 22, 2022 (when I watched Heartstopper for the first time). So probably early May 2022, because I think I activated iQiyi for KP on May 27, and I had watched BBS by then. In terms of the fandom, well...Deepa was my first fandom interaction, and I think she followed me on Twitter because of a fic I wrote. I'm private on Twitter though, so my presence in the fandom is (still) very small.
favorite ship(s) Oh PatPran all the way every day. I am a...sucker for a good canon ship. I almost exclusively read/interact with canon ships. Can't explain it, it's just what my brain wants.
favorite character(s) Pat. Hands down, every day of the week and twice on Sunday and with no hesitation. But I also admit to a very deep fascination with Dissaya. And I like Uncle Tong.
favorite episode(s) episode 5 because kiss scene on roof so good. But I also love episode 11, even though I find it deeply sad.
favorite scene(s) I mean, rooftop kiss. But my second favorite scene, and a scene I screenshot constantly just for shits and giggles, is the scene in episode 11, after their night together, when Pat comes out of the bedroom and onto the balcony, and Pran senses him and looks up at Pat with a fucking WIDE-ASS clear as a bell smile of joy. Because Pat knows at that moment, and Pran has already known, that the honeymoon has to end. But Pat also knows that smiling boy is his. And it's all in Pat's face when he looks down at Pran.
one thing you would change about the show if you could great question. And so many of my first thoughts about this I've just summarily rejected in the last 45 seconds of thinking. I don't know, man. I am stumped.
what are your some of your favorite fanworks made by other people? This is not in any way a reflection on the quality of the fanfic out there, but I am a one-and-done kinda gal with fanfic. I love you all, and I love all your fics, believe you me. That I don't have titles here isn't a reflection on you. It's me! I do have some fave edits though; there is something about watching these vids, set to this music that just...MY HEART.

ah, is there a romance more palpable than that between an utter joke of a villain, and his seasoned, bloodthirsty henchperson? 👀
Partners in Crime is a great choice for these two, and for any V Bros selfshipper with a villainous fave!! i always saw Quint and Augustus developing a very ‘Jesse and James from Team Rocket’ kind of relationship: outwardly obnoxious and bullying (you can’t fix personalities like that 🙈) yet fiercely protective. it’s by no means an easy bond - after all, within 24 hours of meeting Augustus, Quint does what any of us would do and tries to kill him 😂

someone give that yuletide fic a reflection post!
I've never really done one of these Yuletide reflection posts before, but this year I have SO MUCH TO SAY OMG that I'm making one of these to get it out of my system.
So I wrote this fic with Subwoolfer fans basically trying to bend time and space to win Eurovision. Because whomst among us has not wanted to do that for a Eurovision fave at some point? (Eurovision juries turn on your location I just want to chat about the scores you gave Keiino) Except longterm subcubs are also space wolves (probably?) so they don't quite get it right.
I will ramble about the music aspects about this fic, but I also do want to talk about the writing parts! Basically I'm actually... a relative newcomer to Eurovision. I'm an American who started tuning in in 2018, but I really got on board last year when 2021 was so freaking fun and culminated in one of my actual faves that year winning! This somehow translated in me keeping up with the 2022 contest from early on... I think I started following along when Lithuania's song was announced and never quite let up. There's a lot of downtime in between Eurovision events, though, so I also became obsessed with Eurovision data vids. The ones like "biggest flop between semifinals and the final" or "songs with biggest differences between jury and public vote" (again, justice for Keiino.) This had me backtracking into Eurovision history a LOT over the spring and retroactively falling in love with a lot of different songs/moments.
Then, of course, 2022 Eurovision itself also had a lot of meme worth moments. Like the broken kinetic sun fiasco absolutely killed me. But there's a whole Eurovision 2022 iceberg meme that nailed the chaotic vibes of that contest in general.
So basically the writing of the fic was an attempt at a loving/joking synthesis of my times in music related fandoms in general, but also everything I'd absorbed in Eurovision fandom in particular. (And yes the author note about needing a VPN was a joke about how I have to use one to watch any of the performances on youtube.)
As for the music aspects of the fic... So, I've wanted to get into music editing/remixing/production etc for years now but kept getting cold feet about it. Eurovision this year was actually the thing that pushed me to finally go ahead and just do it. And I'm so glad it did! It also meant it felt appropriate to actually work on some music for this assignment.
I mostly only have things to say about the two full remixes.
First the bardcore cover. So, this one most involved just finding piano sheet music and then painstakingly programming the notes into midi files on my DAW. I quickly found out that just recreating those exact notes wasn't going to cut it, though. First the chorus... In the vocals, it's pretty much just a repetition of the same note over and over. That's fine in the original song because the point of the chorus is the intense beat drop. You don't really have that going for you in bardcore, though, so I spent a lot of time yeeting the vocal notes around... across octaves, across different stringed instruments, etc. I also put in a lot of movement in the instruments functioning as the bassline to create more interest.
Although, regarding the beat drop... I also spent an embarassing amount of time trying to reverse engineer what was going on with the drum beats in the song and reflect hem in the drums I had in this. There definitely came a point one night where I was giggling to myself over looping the second chorus over and over and over to try and figure out whether the drumming was different from the first chorus and if so how? and how do I reflect that?
And of course the final chorus does stuff with instruments that's really... not bardcore at all. The string instruments there sound more like orchestras from centuries and centuries later.
But, hey, these remixes were made by space wolves. They can't get everything right!
The lofi beats mix was almost the opposite experience. Instead of meticulously recreating the song, here I was basically... scrapping it (and several others) for parts and seeing how many times I could use the same small melody in different ways. This was because all of Subwoolfer's songs get incredibly bombastic early on and never let up. I'm not yet skilled enough at getting stems to, say, pull out of just a synth from one of the loud parts and slow it down. Limitations can be fun, though, and I definitely had a great time exploring these snippets of the songs from different angles.
It did make me a bit sad I really couldn't find a way to incorporate Grace Kelly or especially Turin. I say especially Turin because of the line "we're here to win that Eurovision/but with a broken kinetic sun it might tough." But then I was able to use audioclips from those in the mix, so that was something, haha!
Probably the most bonkers thing I did was isolate audio of Subwoolfer dropping those plastic balls with questions in them, and then using them as audio texturing for the lofi remix haha.
Okay, that's probably enough rambling from me! So, yes, tl;dr I got a fantastic assignment this year and had a lot of fun working on it.

Current Obsession: BOY this one is in a weird place? Gimme a minute to lay this one out.
So like, I'm literally 6 years into having New Daily Persistent Headache and Fibromyalgia/probably Sjogren's Syndrome, which basically means I've had some flavor of migraine 24/7 since Feb 27 2018. My capacity to do like, literally any kind of creativity has goddamn motherfucking shitkicking cuntscruggling TANKED over the last several years. I am, mentally speaking, not doing great!
So instead of writing I spend a lot of time thinking of Very Silly AUs of writings I might, one day, maybe, attempt to commit to. The stories I spend many hours huddled in the dark thinking about are stories so displaced from any kind of canon there's really no point in trying to write them down and share with all of y'all. They're for me as a distraction from how much pain I'm in so many hours of every single goddamn shitkicking day of my life. More specifically, migraine hell is quelled at least a little bit by very silly Time Travel AUs of Bad Times Happen To Your Faves AUs.
So this week I'm thinking about an AU where Edward Elric loses his right arm again for keepsies years post-canon, adopts a kid OC, realizes that the way he defeated Pride accidentally turned him into a homunculus comparable to Bradley, and decades later finds himself temporally flung right back into the shittiest time of his life (AKA the canon timeline).
Is this any kind of fic worth writing? Not really, not without like, at LEAST 300k worth of pretense. In my hunchbacked hating life and physical sensations day-to-day life however? Yeah, yeah, it's funny. It's silly and pointless and poignant and distracts me by thinking of ways how an older Ed could manipulate canon events (or at the very least convey them to canon versions of everyone before the canon shit can hit hit the canon fan). It's all Very Funny and Interesting to me. Will I ever write it? Absolutely not. Will it live rent-free in my brain for years to come? Oh, abso-fuckin'-lutely. Time Travel AUs of Wild AUs I'll Never Commit To Publically are the bread and butter of my brain's capacity to tolerate like, existence, at this point in my life.

Also, there's a lot of intelligences, it doesn't have to be "academically" or "typical" either! But also, humor is really important. I'd say I lean more into intelligence, but not too heavily, I need it balanced. (Also, my type in fandoms is usually dumb af, but it's in a charming or funny way, not in a "I stay ignorant on purpose" kind of way hahah)

Mmm, I think it really depends on who you're giving a gift to 🤔 Because, one of the best would be something they really want but it's hard to get, or they haven't found it(?), something really specific. Or handmade specially for them. That would mean you both know them very well and you put lots of effort on their gift.
But aside from that, I think something that has lots of meaning for the people involved. Something related to a milestone in the relationship, or memorable places/objects that you remember fondly.
