I can't remember if I already posted about this but back in March I started work on a mini Gameboy Game to get myself used to GB Studio for another project!
The game is called DYSPHORIA SIMULATOR and it has a good, bad and okay ending and it's a recurring loop as is dysphoria IRL, sometimes you feel like the sexiest person alive, other days like an absolute mess but I think it's worth it for the days where you feel good about yourself!
For context I made this game while I had been taking HRT for 2 years but had absolutely no effects due to a mistake with my dosage and a reluctant NHS refusing to get involved, hence why the bad and okay endings are the way they are!

Hello fellow internetians,
So to start this off, I write and draw but I'm working may way up to accepting art requests so I'm starting with writing first since I've done so before.
The names I go by are Ash/Arena so please address me by either of you need to. About a year ago now, give or take a couple of months, I got sick and ever since I've been having to rely on my mother's income. I want to help her out and so I'm taking commissions in any of the fandoms I list on the first page. Rules will be included below and I have a goal in mind that I wish to reach.
Currently said goal is 500 a month but I want to keep a hold on this goal for periods of time so every time it hits I'll reset.
I'm still getting accounts to other platforms set up so if needed I can be reached across various different platforms so I can keep up with everyone and so you all can keep up with me.

As I listed in the description this book is for commissions and for the most part I'll be collecting requests from this book while also posting the requests in this book so you all don't have to search far to find your story after I'm done writing them.
My name is Arena, though Ash and Ashes are other names that I don't mind you all calling me by either. I am 20 years old and so most of my work will be for adults considering I am one. If you aren't an adult though you can still request but you'll have to go to the 'Underage Requests' Page and do it there which I'll be making before Post an 'Adult Requests' Page. Please do not lie to me about your ages because if you do I'll be upset.
Now for my story:
About a year ago, give or take some months, I got sick with Guillain-Barre and so I haven't been able to work thanks to being currently disabled. I have written commissions before on here and ao3 (archiveofourown) on different accounts so I'm doing that again. When I have all my accounts fully set up I'll mention them on this account by name under my account so you all can branch out and find me if needed. As stated I haven't been able to work or attend college like I was before so this is my way of making some much needed cash for myself and my family.
If you don't have the money that's fine, I'm not talking to you, but I do appreciate you reading my book and sharing it to bring more people to it in the future.
From this point on I expect to have people contacting me so I'll go ahead and list my fandoms and prices.
I do write for OCS as well though so if you are looking for that just go ahead and skip to the next chapter which will be talking about my few rules for OCS. I also roleplay so I'm happy to accept and adopt other roleplayers that are literate like I am. If you are not looking for a partner but instead want to commission me to write out a certain scene from your own roleplays that's of course welcomed and accepted.

Considering situations, sometimes stories will be longer than what was paid and it's okay, I won't go over to the point where the story leads into a different price range but a few extra words will go over the limit sometimes. If that happens, don't worry about it. It's free of charge after that so you don't have to pay extra.
I also want to mention that I also write for 'Monster Fuccers' so if you have a thing for DnD or some monster OC you want to hunch on I accept requests for those as well so don't by shy.

Had a really productive day at Hopkins yesterday. Learned that yes, I am actually diabetic, not ore-diabetic. Also, I’ve fractured every bone in my left foot but can’t feel it, because GBS and neuropathy. Not being able to feel my feet is wild. The nurse who bandaged my foot (yes, huge diabetic foot wound there), seem amazed I was walking and not in a wheelchair. That makes me feel good because I frequently get frustrated and feel my recovery isn’t happening fast enough. Got approved for Ozempic, should be starting that next week. Had a really great appointment with the endocrinologist, so I don’t have to go back down to Hopkins tomorrow for that appointment. Got a boot for my foot, which is supposed to take pressure off my roe so it can heal properly and not turn into me losing my foot. Always a good thing, but boy, challenging to learn how to walk in that when my left leg is now higher than my right. The visit with the wound doctor was hilarious when he and his students were incredulous that I didn’t know I had broken my foot (probably feet, but we only stayed my left) multiple times and had no idea. When I say “I can’t feel my feet at all,” I mean it. 😂
Anyway, while the news wasn’t great, it was answers, I have a plan for more recovery and PT and it was overall very productive day at the hospital.

rereading parts of jade city and thinking about how book 3 tells us that lott jin hates cruelty, especially unnecessary cruelty. thinking about how that recolors that one interaction he had with anden in book 1 where anden calls lott less than his father, and how we knew that lott hates his father but now understand why he couldn’t stand anden’s accusation. thinking about hilo’s comment to anden after the fact and how he tells anden “for the most part, you give a man something to live up to, you tell him he can be more than he is now, more than other people think he’ll ever be, and he’ll try his godsdamned best to make it true.” thinking about how lott then goes on to say in book 3 that hilo “was the first person in the clan who spoke to me like a man.” how hilo “expected me to be my own person, not just a poor copy of my da. he made me think it might be possible to be green without being cruel and angry.” thinking about how hilo being there for lott and his family at the very beginning combined with how cruelly his father was murdered got him up on that stage at the end of book 1 to be the first to take his oaths. thinking about how he loves his family and probably to some degree still cared for his father and how he now had a reason to go to war and do something about the cruelty that he saw. thinking about how hilo’s mentoring in jade war and his reassurance to lott that he’s different from his father and can be a different green bone gave lott something to live up to. thinking about lott’s subsequent determination and resolve to shape his life around being a green bone and ultimately horn. thinking about how so much of what happens in jade legacy changes how you read things in the previous books. thinking about how i care too much about this one minor character.
