the funny thing about young jun is that i really didn't like him when he was first introduced to us but somehow this stupid idiot man has wormed his way into my heart??? like there's just something so boyishly endearing about him. literally - bc even tho he's an adult he still acts quite boyish and walks through life with a youthful naivety - and also metaphorically - bc he's the heir apparent to his clan but still has a long ways to go before he's ready to take over. i think i didn't like him at first bc he seemed like he was just your standard arrogant dick with a short temper but then you learn a bit more about him and realize oh it's the asshole with a heart of gold trope. he's fiercely loyal (which is something i adore in a character), with something to prove (very enticing), and has daddy issues (of course lmao). i was like he doesn't fall into the type of character i usually like and then i realized oh fuck me he's exactly the type of character i usually like lmfao
