Answers below.

Peter OTP: Peter/Nebula, of course. If the 100k+ words of fanfiction I've written about them is anything to go by, they are my OTP of all time. <3 I want Peter to move on and find happiness with someone new after vol. 3 and the movie planted the seeds for these two ending up together in the future really well I think. BrOTP: This was the hardest to decide because I love Peter's friendships with all the other Guardians. Gonna go with Mantis here though because I love how she looks out for her bro and tries to steer him in the right direction. Wish we'd gotten to see more of them being siblings after the holiday special 'cause the confirmation that she was Peter's sister made me so happy! TuT OT3: Shipping Peter with Nebula and Gamora at the same time would be really weird so instead I'm gonna go with Nebula/Peter/Thor in like, a V shaped polycule where Peter is dating them both but Nebula and Thor aren't into each other. NOTP: Ro/quill. I don't think I need to explain myself with this one, but shipping the raccoon with the humanoid characters is weird and gross to me.

Nebula OTP: Same as above, I think her implied feelings for Peter in vol. 3 make all the sense in the world. I mean, why wouldn't Nebula fall for the same person as Gamora? That's just how her life is. I think these two being together would fit their arcs well. Nebula learns to accept that she doesn't have to always be competing with Gamora in order to be worthy of love, and Peter gets his shit together enough to see how Nebula stuck by and cared for him and how Gamora was right about how the person he fell for "sounds more like her." BrOTP: I love her friendship with Rocket so much! Two sad cyborgs goin' on adventures together for five years, I'd kill to see more of that. OT3: Same as above as well I guess, but I don't see Nebula being poly. NOTP: I'm fine with all the big Nebula ships really even if I don't consume their content.

Mantis OTP: I used to ship Mantis/Nebula back in the day and I think that's still my fave Mantis ship even if I no longer go there. I also like the idea of her having a crush on Gamora. BrOTP: Mantis and Drax are my favorite duo ever. Just a couple of strange goofballs pranking each other and causing chaos. OT3: Can't think of anything for this one. NOTP: I don't hate Mantis and Drax as a romantic pairing but them just being weird best friends means so much to me. We need more platonic M/F relationships like them.

Phos OTP: I like all the Phos ships but can't deny that Phos/Cinnabar is my favorite. I know you haven't read the manga yet but I reread this one part of it earlier in the week that makes me wanna throw Phos in the trash because we could have had it all!! xD BrOTP: I really enjoyed Phos and Cairngorm's dynamic. OT3: Phos/Cinnabar/Antarc. Idk how it'd work out but all I know is that I want all three of these rocks to be happy. NOTP: I'm not picky with HNK ships but I'm sure some people ship Phos with Aechmea so no thanks to that.

Toko OTP: Toko/Komaru! These two mean the world to me. Seeing Toko end up with an amazing girlfriend who supports and loves her after everything she's been through and the development she underwent in Ultra Despair Girls damn made me cry. BrOTP: I love the interactions between her and Makoto in her Free Time events. The Naegis are the only ones who can tame this girl. OT3: I like the Toko/Sayaka ship so I can imagine an AU where she survives and throuples up with Tokomaru. NOTP: Byakuya. These two are the worst for each other and no one can change my mind.

Aoi OTP: I very much enjoy her and Sakura together. BrOTP: Yuta Asahina deserved better and in my personal headcanon, he survives UDG and gets to see his sis again. OT3: I think Sakura had a boyfriend so sandwich Hina in between them. NOTP: Got no strong negative feelings for any Hina ships.

Sakura OTP: Same as above. Love me a big buff sporty girlfriend and her smol buff sporty girlfriend. BroTP: I really enjoyed her Free Times with Makoto, too. OT3: Same as above. NOTP: Also same as above. It's hard to go wrong with Sakura ships.

Papyrus OTP: I don't ship Papyrus with anyone but I remember liking Papyrus/Mettaton when I was younger. BrOTP: I fucking LOVE his friendship with Undyne. Anyone who doesn't call Papyrus and Undyne in every room in the game to see what weird shit they say is missing out. OT3: I got nothin'. NOTP: Font/cest. Don't understand why this is such a big thing.

Sans OTP: These days I like the idea of Sans being aroace but I remember having a very brief phase of shipping Sans/Asgore xD BrOTP: Him and Papyrus ofc, but I also like him seeing Frisk as a little sibling, too. OT3: Sans/Fries/Ketchup NOTP: Fr/ans. That is a child...

I know the fandom has generally accepted Tofu to refer to the ship between Toko and Byakuya, but it’s such a cute nickname for Toko herself.

While romanized to Tofu and Toko, both are spelt with “U”s in Japanese, Toufu (とうふ) and Touko (とうこ). Also, the “fu” in Tofu uses the same kanji as the one in Fukawa (腐).

In UDG Komaru refers to Toko as Fukawa-san and there’s the one scene where she calls her “Touko-chan”. In English, since she already calls her Toko, Komaru uses “Toki” instead. Imagine how cute it would be if she called her Tofu…

And Syo could be Shoyu.

Chiaki hasn't seen the two girls since she helped them deal with the Monokuma hoard. The only notable people she's met are a few of the captives scattered about, all wearing an armband with the Monokuma eye symbol on it. The girl Fukawa-san was with was wearing one too... She must've been a captive. She has Fukawa-san and a hacking gun though, so she's probably fine... I think.

There was also a pure white Monokuma covered in bandages that tried to talk to her, telling her about a 'secret hideout' he'd been bringing surviving adults to. Chiaki didn't trust a word of what he said, so she left him alone, vaugely taking notes of the bear's description of the supposed hideout. Just in case. Even if he acts friendly, I can't trust him. His claims of an advanced AI only makes him more suspicious. If this was a video game, I bet there'd be a twist reveal at the end that the hideout was a trap all along and Monokumas would swarm the place and kill all the adults. That 'Shirokuma' is bad news.

Out of the corner of her eye, she sees a blue-haired kid run away from the nearby shrine. That kid... he's part of the 'Warriors of Hope', right? What's he running from? ...Maybe Fukawa-san and that girl are over there... I should check it out. Having made her decision, Chiaki cautiously walked up the stairs.

By the time she had walked all the way up, Toko was laying on the ground talking with the girl. The girl sounded like she was crying. Unexpectedly, she heard a familiar voice coming from behind them. Chiaki was still too far away to make any words out, but there was no mistaking it. Komaeda-kun...? What's he doing here? This can't be good...

She got as close as she dared, making sure to be quiet all the way. Now able to see Nagito clearly, she noted that he had a single mitten on his left hand, a metal chain collar around his neck, and... face paint? Crudely scribbled all over his face. He briefly glanced her way, and she quickly ducked behind the torii gate's pillar. It'd be bad if I got spotted... I could end up putting those two in danger. And... I don't want them to know my relation to Komaeda-kun... As she could now hear them, she started paying attention to the scene.

"Well, personally... It's for the sake of the game. Byakuya Togami is important to you, is he not?" Togami-kun? Did Komaeda-kun... "Then allow me to lend a hand. See, you'll still make it if you go now." What's he talking about? Did he make a deal with Fukawa-san? Nagito opened the lid of the small container and poured pepper over Toko's face, who covered her nose and tried not to sneeze. "Toko!" The unfamiliar girl made to move towards her, "Don't come near me! You, you...! Run!"

Right after she said her warning, Toko sneezed and promptly jumped up, twirled in the air and masterfully landed on her feet. "TA-DAAAA! Don't get your blood on my glasses~ I'm the Cinderella of the slaughter flower garden~ AHAHAHAAHHAHAAHA!" Her voice and body language was completely different, now resembling more how she was when Chiaki met her holding back the Monokumas. "Please... Please stop!" The girl tried to plead with her friend, but to no avail.

With her scissors ready for attack, 'Toko' dashed forward in between Nagito and the girl at a speed Chiaki could barely process. She swore she saw the scissors making an 'X' in the air from the slash. Clearly expecting to be the one hurt, the unfamiliar girl's face shifted into shock as Nagito's thighs started bleeding as his knees wobbled and he fell down.

Standing up, 'Toko' started making mocking blabbing noises, "SHUT the hell up, you lanky wavy-haired bastard!" By now she had turned around to face him. Chiaki guessed she was scowling at him, though she couldn't see 'Toko's' face to confirm it.

"Ah, oh right. Even though you two share knowledge, you don't share memories, correct?" Nagito's reply was calm, completely unbothered by his wounds. "So then, you have no idea who the real enemy is. An honest mistake I suppo-"

"You IDIOT, it's no mistake." 'Toko' started walking closer. "What I share with her isn't just knowledge. She and I also share... emotions." 'She'? "If we didn't, there's no way we'd both love Master." Pointing her scissors at his face, she continued, "And my emotions are telling me this: To kill you and let Dekomaru escape." 'Dekomaru'? I get the feeling that's a nickname... "And you're something of a pretty boy yourself, so I can kill you as I like, no remorse~" Why would it matter if he's pretty? ...Ah! Could it be...?

"Haa, I see. So you've stopped trying to take advantage of Komaru Naegi. Is that friendship?" 'Komaru Naegi'... So that's the other girl's name. 'Naegi'... She's probably related to Naegi-kun. Sister, maybe? He has mentioned having one...

"HUH?"

"To travel the harsher path for the sake of protecting your friend... Such beautiful friendship... I truly think it's a... splendid thing." ...Well, Komaeda-kun's being his usual self at least. "But, aren't you a serial killer? A person who has no problem taking lives to satiate your own lusts." Oh, so I was right. She is Genocider Syo. Guess that explains some things. "For someone like that... saying things like 'friendship' or 'friends'... Do you not find it strange? Or even shameful?"

As Nagito finished talking, Syo retreated the scissors and statted clutching her stomach. "MhmhmhahaHAHAAHAHAHAHAAA-HAAH I CAN'T BREATHE! 'Friendship'? 'Friends'? HahaahaHAHAHAHAHAAHAAA!" The moment she finished laughing, she grabbed him by the hair and lowered her face to be eye-level with him. "Obviously freaking not." She lifted herself back up and threw her scissors back preparing to stab. "WHO ARE YOU CALLING MY FRIEND!?"

"No! You're my friend!" Komaru rushed and grabbed Syo's arm with her entire body, hugging it close to restrain it. Annoyed, Syo grunted out, "Uggghhh what are you doing... Let go!"

"No, I won't! I mean, you made a promise with Togami-kun, right? You said... you wouldn't kill anymore. If you keep your promise, you can be an official member of Future Foundation." She's not one already? ...I guess they'd be wary of recruiting a serial killer... "That's why you... you just can't!" Komaru voice cracked, clearly keeping back tears, but Chiaki could still make out the corner of a smile. "I...never thought of you or Toko as abnormal. You're just a little strange, that's all. But even so, you're important to me! No matter what, you're a precious friend and I won't let you do this!" Her voice cracked as she finished speaking.

"You know... You're probably wasting your time." Komaru's attention shifted to Nagito. "After all... She knows she needs to kill me. Togami-kun's life is in danger as long as I am alive. If she breaks the promise we made and let's you escape..." She looked back to Syo, and made a decision. "...I'll stay. If that's how it is. If I stay in this city and go with her, then it's fine, right?"

"That's right-"

"HEY" Syo broke out of Komaru's hold and released Nagito. "Do you know what the hell you're talking about!? You were crying and whining about escaping earlier, remember!? Now what, you changed your mind?"

"I still want to escape! I'm still scared, even now! But you feel the same way, don't you? You're still scared, but you tried to help me escape. You hid how scare you were inside, didn't you? There's no way I can run now, leaving you behind!" Syo lowered her head at Komaru's words, her voice getting quiet. "...As expected. You just don't get it."

She stabbed her scissors towards Komaru's neck, just barely avoiding cutting the skin. "I betrayed you. I betrayed you, you know!?" Not at all fazed by Syo's actions, Komaru grabbed the scissors with both hands and spoke. "...No. No, you didn't. And you're suffering from guilt, aren't you?" She smiled "If you're hurting, you can tell me. I'm an unreliable, normal girl who can't do anything... But...I can at least do normal things, right? And it's normal for a friend to help a friend." Speaking louder, "I'll... stay. No matter how much you say no, I will definitely stay with you, alright? I've... decided."

Syo finally let up and turned her back to Komaru, now facing the stairs. Chiaki made sure to hide herself more discreetly. "...Man, so annoying. All that lip-service talk I hate, so irritating. Anybody can just say something." Komaru started to look more and more dejected. "In that case, I'm a great detective, an austronaut, a reporter and a tera-suuuuper beauty!"

Finishing her mockery, Syo lowered her head. "...And besides, you have absolutely no idea what I'm really like." Komaru took a step forward. "What do you mean?"

A long pause followed, the silence finally breaking at Syo's reply, "...There's no way I'd say no."

"Huh?"

"Rather... Thanks."

Komaru broke out into a relieved smiled, the tears disappearing "...Toko!" She ran towards her, when Syo's face suddenly scrunged up and she sneezed, switching back to Toko. Now feeling awkward, Komaru tried to explain herself, "...Oh. So, um. About what just happened..." Toko started to blush and twiddled her fingers together. "I-it's alright... I kinda figured out what was happening..."

"Huh? Really?"

"F-friend...? T-the last time I was called that w-was in a dream I had in grade school..."

"That's pretty depressing..." As the two girls' conversation started devolving into banter, Chiaki tuned them out and focused her attention back to Nagito.

"Well, guess it turned out alright. If Komaru Naegi had run away, the hope of this city would've gone with her... To prevent that... A wound like this will not dimish my resolve. ...Though it does hurt." As he spoke up, the girls remembered that he was still there, and focused their attention back to him. Toko approached him first. "It's time you started talking. How do we release Master Togami?"

"All you have to do is defeat the Final Boss. You save the princess after defeating the Final Boss, right? ...In theory."

"In theory...?"

"I was not the only one who came up with the plan to take you to the children's base. I have a partner... But I'm not sure what they are planning, to be honest." So Komaeda-kun is a part of this after all... Guess I should've expected that. He is still Ultimate Despair... "Wh-who is that...?"

"There's no way I would tell you that. I have... already been disqualified from the game." I wonder why he keeps talking like it's a video game. Maybe the kids have something to do with that? "But, it'll be alright. No matter what kind of despair awaits you, hope will overcome it. The deeper and darker the despair... the brighter and more powerful the hope born from it." ...Typical Komaeda-kun.

"Yeah... you're crazy alright." Oh, you have no idea... "You are seriously disgusting... You're like three steps below vomit in a toilet." ...That's a bit far. Clearly ignoring their comments, Nagito ended his exposition. "Anyway, all you need is to progress forward. I will support you until the very end."

"So in order to get Togami-kun, we have to stop the children's rioting, right? Then... I'll do it. There's no other choice." Komaru turned to look at Toko. "...Right, Toko?" Turning to Komaru as well, Toko questioned, "B-but... are you sure you can do this?"

"There's no way I can accept leaving you behind. Thanks to you, I've come this far... And not just that... Maybe I'm not really attached to this town, but I will save my friend."

"Komaru..."

Nagito started talking about hints or something, telling them where they should go now. Chiaki wasn't really paying attention anymore, but she did catch Komaru talking about a 'resistance', and mentioned Shirokuma alongside some 'Towa' guy. At that, Nagito mentioned an alternative route they could take to arrive at the resistance hideout. ...Not very secret, now is it, Shirokuma? Having made their decision, the girls went back down the stairs and left the area, neither of them noticing Chiaki behind the pillar.

"...You can come out now, Nanami-san. There's only me left here." Chiaki jumped, not expecting Nagito to have noticed her. She cautiously peeked out from behind the pillar, looking around to make sure there really wasn't anyone else around, and stepped out once she had confirmed it. "...Komaeda-kun. I didn't expect to see you here. You look... different."

"Ah, right. I apologise for making you see me like this. I must be such a repulsive sight."

"...That's not what I meant. It just suprised me. ...Did those kids draw on your face? Should I wash it off?" Deciding to focus on the more simple change, she pointed out the... less than professional face paint. "Ah, that. I completely forgot about that, haha. Little Monaca-san got annoyed by me, so she told the other kids to draw on my face as punishment, that's all."

"...I'm definitely wiping it off." She pouted as she dug into her bag for tissues. Finally finding them, she took them out and started wiping Nagito's face paint off. Since the tissue was dry, she ended up just making a smudgy mess instead. Annoyed, she put her hand back into her bag, hoping she has a spray-bottle of water or something. She took out an ordinary water bottle and poured a tiny bit onto the tissue, trying to wipe his face again.

"...You, ah, really didn't need to do this, Nanami-san. It was my fault for ticking off Monaca-san to begin with..."

"Shut up. The face paint looks stupid so I'm removing it. ...And there! all gone." She stepped back and reviewed her work, nodding to herself when she confirmed there was no face paint left. "...Now, what about the other stuff?"

"...Other stuff?"

"You know the... Mitten and chains. Did the kids put those on too?" Honestly, she found the sole mitten weirder than the chain. A chain collar seems like something Komaeda-kun would be into, it wouldn't surprise me if it was some kink thing he forgot to take off... But the mitten seems out of place. "Ah, those... Well, the chain collar was indeed from the Warriors of Hope. I have been working as their servant for a while now, so it is not odd for them to chain me to signify that."

"Oh, I see. That makes sense. ...And the mitten?"

"Well-" Nagito was cut off by the sound of moving metal coming from behind him. "...Ah, it seems we are out of time. I do hate to cut our reunion short, but I believe you should leave now, Nanami-san."

"Komaeda-kun...?"

"Ahaha, do not worry about me. I will be fine. Now, go. I will live, but you will be killed on the spot if he sees you." Who's 'he'? "...Alright. But I'll be looking for you later, okay?" Nagito simply smiled in reply and waved with his right hand.

As Chiaki turned her back to him and walked away, she started thinking about how she hadn't seen Nagito use his left hand at all. Did something happen to it...?

And with that, she walked away from the sound of heavy metal.

The Duchess's Hope [Inazuma Eleven]

Prologue: Fuck you Monday, Hell is just a Sauna

The cool morning breeze wafts through the hallways on this early Monday. The sound of footsteps and chatter can be heard throughout the busy hallway. Groups of students are mingling, but I walk alone, rushing to get to the library to help Mrs. Fukawa. My plans are forgotten when I bump into someone, lose my balance, and land on my bottom with a thud.

When I accidentally collided with someone, I quickly looked up to find myself face-to-face with Kidou Yuuto, the infamous soccer club captain at Teikokou. Everyone around him treated him as an authority figure. Any attempt to cross him resulted in severe punishment - not only that, but injuries or bullying among soccer club members were met with the Commander's wrath, which everyone knew was due to his pride in the team. After the collision, I swiftly shuffled backward on the ground, but Kidou-san proved too quick for me, grabbing hold of my ankle and dragging me to where he lay. My body trembled with fear, and I tried to run away, but he held me firmly, refusing to let go.A feeling of helplessness and despair took over me, with darkness enveloping my senses. I mustered up all my courage, staring defiantly back at Kidou-san, trying to maintain a carefree and casual demeanor. Despite my efforts, his green lenses failed to conceal the anger and irritation written all over his face. His grip on my ankle tightened even more, causing visible veins to pop up all over his face, further emphasizing his intense emotions.

More and more students started to gather around the commotion, whispering to each other without caring who might be listening and passing judgment on the two of us with cold stares. A thick tension permeated the air as time seemed to stand still. As someone who preferred to stay out of the public eye because of my unappealing personality and lack of charisma, I knew that my quiet days of anonymity were over if I didn't apologize.

"Kidou-san, I am truly sorry for my careless actions. It was not my intention to hurt you in any way," I replied, bowing my head and avoiding his glance. "Please accept my deepest apologies."

A moment of silence ensued before a familiar, deep voice spoke up, saying, "Follow me." The voice held my wrist tightly, seemingly to prevent me from escaping, even though I had no plans to do so. Instead, he pulled me along as he led me to a destination, which I assumed was Kageyama's office. There was an uneasy silence present throughout our walk, which made it difficult to maintain my doll-like expression. As we walked, several students gave us glances of either disgust or concern. Those who were disgusted were upset that they didn't get to be with their much-admired "Kidou-Chama," while those who were concerned were worried that I might not make it out of there alive.

As we approached the pair of heavy black iron doors, Kidou-san instructed me to stay put, which I swiftly obeyed. I simply stood there and prepared myself for whatever consequences awaited me. Although some may find this excessive, especially considering I had already rendered a sincere apology, this was none other than Kageyama's favorite disciple we were talking about. Kageyama values every member of the soccer club as if they were exquisite porcelain creations adorned with gold and silver. As a result, anyone who interferes with his disciples can anticipate facing significant retribution.

It seemed like no matter what, my time here at Teikokou was coming to an end. I had broken two rules, both of which were grounds for expulsion, and I was sure that I was in trouble. Not only had I gotten detention, but I was probably going to get expelled twice - if that was even possible. And to top it all off, my older brother would be disappointed that I had squandered my scholarship. But I was determined not to let him bribe anyone again, as that had gotten me into a bad situation before.

FINALLY finished ultra despair girls. rambles and ending spoilers ahead

i almost rage quit during the final boss fight because the combat mechanics were at their absolute worst (which is saying something because i found the combat incredibly frustrating front to back). but narratively the ending was. fine i guess. i think sdr2 did the whole "i reject your dichotomy" thing better and the way monacas plan got thwarted was kinda. dumb. i liked the fukawa/komaru development though! having monaca back komaru into a corner and then fukawa saves her, which monaca didnt account for, was good! but the whole. giant monokuma comes out of nowhere and tears the building down. defeat it and then you win!!!! really ruined the whole scene i think.

honestly komaru and fukawas friendship arc was the best part of the game. (also every komaeda appearance but thats just because im insane.) like the fight in the middle was SO yuri. especially when genocide jack held the knife up to komarus throat and she didnt even flinch??? obsessed. honestly fukawa kinda gets on my nerves as a character and that didnt really change, but it was cute that she finally made a friend. i liked it. the scene where fukawa finally got komarus name right was nice, and i like that she never once messes it up after that. and the way komaru tries to call her toko-chan once they become friends and fukawa really cant handle it so she goes back to fukawa-san, but then she calls her toko-chan in the after credits scene....... really good. theres more than that but just..... their relationship is a little unconventional but still really sweet and i like it. i think its good as the central relationship of the game. and also i think they should kiss

and. im sure ive complained about this before but im complaining about it again. absolutely BAFFLED at the decision to make the main villains abused children. genuinely what the fuck is that. its not that it COULDNT work but its not handled well at all..... like. yes they were manipulated by monaca, who was manipulated by junko. yes they werent REALLY the bad guys because komaru was being manipulated into siding with the adults for monacas grand plan (although by the end it was more like. both sides are wrong. so they /were/ still bad guys, just not the only bad guys). i dont CARE. the whole "woahhhh monaca was faking her disability for attention!!! because shes evil!!!!" twist??? awful. im not opposed to the concept of a character faking their disability for manipulative reasons but i resent the constant framing around these kids being "the bad stuff you went through doesnt excuse your actions". to be clear - im not saying that because you were abused as a child means its okay to kill all adults ever. but i am saying that kids acting out after being abused by their fucking parents is extremely reasonable, and the narrative is intentionally exaggerating this type of behavior in order to punish it. and im TIRED OF IT. monaca faking her disability for attention is literally explicitly because she felt like an outsider in her own family. yes it was manipulative. yes you shouldnt fake having a disability. but children whose needs arent being met will do whatever it takes to make sure those needs are met. and this is framed as Evil Villain Behavior and i am NOT HAVING IT. humanize the motherfucking abuse victims or die by my sword

anyway. overall. i got through it so it clearly couldnt have been too bad. i think im making it sound worse than it was - it does have its charms. but. i didnt really find the characters, plot OR gameplay that enjoyable. it has its moments but overall i didnt really have fun. so. not really a good game for me. but now its done and i can move on to the rest of the series!! yippee!!!

How could Hifumi KNOW he was the last to see Touko alive? Somehow, you manage to express that exact question to the others.

You give Hifumi a look that tells him two things: one, to try and stay on topic of the literal dead body of the person he's talking about, and two, to maybe not do name-calling during an interrogation when he's under suspicion on CAUSING the dead body.

"Correct you are... I'd been enlightening her, when Maizono-san suddenly took off screaming! I ran after her, but ran into those three on the stairs!"

Hifumi points to you, Chihiro, and Celestia.

After the encounter at the shrine, Chiaki spent a long time simply wandering around, hoping to run into Nagito again. At some point, she saw a gigantic Monokuma strutting about, knocking away and crushing all the smaller Monokumas in it's path. It seemed to be approaching Towa Hills. Oh, that's right. I remember Komaeda-kun mentioning it when he was talking to Naegi-san and Fukawa-san... Something about a base? ...Maybe I should've payed more attention.

Tired of mindless wandering, she decided to approach the large building as well. As she got closer, she noticed a large group of people gathered nearby cheering for the giant Monokuma. These people... I get a bad feeling about them. I'll just... watch from a distance.

Chiaki concealed herself behind some of the piles of debris. Despite this, a smoking woman with messy pink hair noticed her and approached. "Hey there. Haven't see you before, you a new rescue?" Unlike the rest of the crowd, the lady before her seemed pretty normal. Her voice was relaxed and mature, practically oozing the energy of a well-experienced older woman. Chiaki was so stunned by her aura she forgot to reply.

"...Lost for words, huh? Guess even young ladies like you aren't immune to my womanly charm. It's alright, you're not the first one. My name's Hiroko Hagakure, and you are?" Finally snapping out of her daze, Chiaki answered, "...Oh, sorry. I'm Chiaki Nanami, a member of Future Foundation, branch office 14. Nice to meet you, Hagakure-san."

"A Future Foundation member...? My, and here I thought the only member in the city was Fufu. Chiaki Nanami, huh? I'll just call you Nana then." Nana? ...Oh, I see. She took the first part of my family name and made it a nickname. And Fufu... Is probably Fukawa-san. So she's met her... "Sorry for all the ruckus, after Koko's motivational speech, the adults here have gotten a bit... too excited. It totally went to their heads."

"...Yeah, I can see that. Say... do you know anything about that big Monokuma?" The question had been stuck in Chiaki's mind ever since she saw it. "Oh, that? That's the Big Bang Monokuma. Towa-kun's controlling it. He said it was the adults' 'last hope', or something like that. From the looks of it, he's gonna go and bring down Towa Hills. Can't tell you anything more than that."

"...I see. Thanks for the info."

"Happy to help. You've probably got some important mission to carry out, right? I'll leave you alone then. Good luck, Nana." And with that, Hiroko walked back into the crowd. She seemed nice. ..Hmm, but... I feel like I've heard the name 'Hagakure' somewhere before... Chiaki decided to head into Towa Hills and see what was going on.

As it turns out, she never made it into the building. The Big Bang Monokuma had begun attacking it before she could get to the entrance and she had to retreat. It appeared to be held back by something though, as eventually it's neck exploded and the head flew up, eventually landing on it's original spot upside down. The giant robot fell backwards, crushing all the smaller Monokumas swarmed at it's feet.

Now that the assault was over, Chiaki cautiously approached the entrance again and snuck her way inside. Thanks to someone -presumably Toko and Komaru- having dealt with all the obstacles and enemies in the building, she could ride the elevator up to the top floor immediately. She went through several rooms and short stairs before arriving at a white room filled with debris.

Inside the room, she saw Nagito attempting to lift the debris from over a small, green-haired girl's body. She walked inside, drawing the attention to her. "...Ah, Nanami-san...? What are you doing here...? Did you come to help Komaru Naegi? You are much too late I'm afraid..." Nagito was out of breath, clearly exhausted from moving the bits of debris away. "Oh, it's you. The Future Foundation lady. Are you here to deal with Monaca?" Oh, so she's 'Monaca'.

"...No, I just saw the big Monokuma and wondered why it was attacking this place. Since it was defeated, I decided to go inside to check it out. ...What are you doing here, Komaeda-kun?" She could see he wanted to help Monaca out, though she doesn't know why. "...Ah, That... Well, I had... planned to leave once the... Big Bang Monokuma showed up, but I... changed my mind and... decided to see things through to the end." He paused several times to breathe. "And I'm... glad I did. It would be... such a shame to let... Monaca-san's potential go to waste... all because her plan didn't work."

"Hey, can you hurry up? It hurts being crushed by debris. Monaca's tired of being unable to go anywhere." Monaca started pouting at Nagito pausing his attempts at getting her out, ignoring the fact he clearly haven't made much headway and already looked ready to collapse. "Ah, my apologies, Monaca-san. I will get... back to helping you." Not wanting to see him actually collapse, Chiaki started to help without a word. "Nanami-san...?"

"Don't talk. You're pretty tired already, right? I don't want you to collapse, so I'll help."

"...You're so weird, Big Sis. You do know who I am, right? It'd be much better for you if I just died." Chiaki ignored her, leading Monaca to spout an endless stream of comments about of how weird and stupid she is at her. "...I really wish you'd just kill me. I already failed, there's no reason for me to live anymore." That almost got a reply from Chiaki, but she continued to stay silent.

By the time the debris was moved enough for her to be lifted up, Monaca had talked herself into exhaustion and had fallen asleep. Nagito didn't look much better off. "...Hey hey, what are we gonna do about her? It sounds like you've got plans for her, but maybe we should just take her home with us instead?" She didn't voice it, but the real reason she wanted to bring Monaca home was to make sure Nagito didn't use her for any other despair-inducing plans. ...Well, one of the reasons.

"...Is really that a good idea...? What about... Naegi-kun and Kirigiri-san...? They won't... be happy about it. Especially not... Naegi-kun..." He had a point, but Chiaki was stubborn. "We could always just say it's to keep an eye on her. And besides, they were fine with letting you and Kamukura-kun stay. I think we'll be fine." Naegi-kun will probably be a bit upset, but he'll understand... maybe. She's just a child, after all. "...For now, let's get out of here. I'm tired of this place. I wanna head home already..." She rubbed her eye sleepily.

"...Alright, let us be on our way, then." Nagito laid Monaca on the ground before turning around and putting her arms over her shoulders and put his hands under her legs, carrying her piggy-back style. Without another word, they left the building and started walking on a road away from the crowd of adults.

As they were walking, Chiaki noticed Nagito staggering, his still bleeding thighs making his legs even weaker when combined with the exhaustion. "Komaeda-kun-"

Before she could finish her sentence, he fell forward and she rushed to hold him up. "Komaeda-kun! L-let's take a break. You're in no state to walk right now. I'll... take care of Monaca-san too, okay?" Completely ignoring her, Nagito started to blush and looked forward with a tired, but no less lovesick expression.

"Kamukura-sama..." Kamukura-kun? At that, she followed his line of sight and saw Izuru walking towards them, rolling a trolley with Shirokuma and a pitch black Monokuma's heads on it. "...Kamukura-kun? What are you doing here? I thought you were still home..." He stopped right in front of them, letting go of the trolley and placing Nagito inside. Afterwards, he picked up the sleeping Monaca and placed her on Nagito's lap. The girl instinctively curled up into his chest.

Finally, Izuru turned back to Chiaki and said the first thing she'd heard from him in a while. "Let's go. There is no reason to stay here anymore."

"...Alright, let's go." She started walking alongside him. Some time after, the black Monokuma head started talking, "Yo man, where the hell you takin' us now!? You 'n' that big boobed babe gonna kidnap us and torture is with watching ya get it on or something? Aren't you a massive pervert! Bet this BDSM bastard over here will enjoy it though!"

Chiaki hated this guy already. She decided to just ignore him. Clearly, the bear didn't like the lack of response, "HEEEEY, are you guys ignorin' me!? Don't ya know I'm a total-"

"Please, shut up. You will wake Monaca-san." Nagito was uncharacteristically stern. Guess Chiaki's not the only one who can't stand the Monokuma's chattering. "Oh Kurokuma, please try to be quiet! Little Monaca-chan needs her sleep to grow big and strong!" Shirokuma -who Chiaki had thought wasn't functioning anymore- started gently reprimanding the other robot head. "She must be so tired after everything that happened... not to mention all the rubble she got crushed by! Poor girl... it must hurt a lot..." Nagito was clearly done with their bantering. "You shut up too. I hate you both."

"M-me too!?"

"AHAHAHAHA! Looks like this bottom has a back-bone after all! Bet you're the kind of servant who acts all sweet and obedient during the day, but at night YOU'RE the one giving orders! AHAHAHAHA ISN'T THAT JUST HILARIOUS!? Imagine THIS GUY giving orders! AHAHAHA-"

Izuru briefly stopped walking to smash his hands into Shirokuma and Kurokuma's heads and ripped something small enough that Chiaki couldn't see it clenched in his fists. As the two bears shut down, Izuru put the parts into his pockets. Apparently having woken up some time during the commotion, Monaca spoke up, "...Where are we going?"

"Home."

"...That's not an answer, Mr. stalker."

Izuru lifted a brow. "...Stalker? Who, exactly, do you believe I would be stalking?" At that, Monaca cocked her head with an innocent expression. "Who are you stalking? Monaca thinks it's obvious. Mr. Stalker is stalking Big Sis and Mr. Servant, of course! The Monokuma kids have seen you following them around all the time. Ever since Big Sis came to Towa City, you've been following her and Mr. Servant around."

"I am observing them to ensure their safety. 'Stalking' implies malicious intent or an obsession with the people in question, neither of which I have." He continued to deny the accusation, but did confirm he was, in fact, following them around. "...Anyway, tell me where you're taking me, Mr. Stalker. I don't trust you, so I want to make sure you're not taking Monaca and Mr. Servant to some dangerous place. Monaca can't protect herself, and Mr. Servant is weak and useless."

Noticing Izuru had decided to ignore her, Chiaki replied instead, "...We're going to our apartment. There's only us and two other Future Foundation members there, so it's pretty safe. The only problem we've had is Komaeda-kun's occasional episodes. ...Mr. Stalker usually deals with it before it can get too bad, though." Izuru scoffed.

"...I don't like that Mr. Stalker has that much power over Mr. Servant. He's MY servant, not yours." Monaca pouted, a far too childish expression for the implications behind her words. "It's okay. I won't let Mr. Stalker do anything, I promise." The girl squinted at Chiaki, thinking over her words. In the end, she nodded on affirmation. "Hm, okay! If Big Sis promises to watch Mr. Stalker, then I guess it's okay."

A yawn forced it's way out of Monaca's mouth. "...Mmm I'm tired. Monaca's gonna take a nap. Good night, Big sis." Immediately after she spoke, she curled back up into Nagito's chest and promptly fell asleep.

Chiaki gave a small smile, and walked home with a new addition to their odd 'family'.
