"Tim?" Tom's voice through the empty room, noticing that his twin was no where to be found. Worry bled into the twin before exiting the room and making his way downstairs.

"Sam?"

The boy in question perked their head up in response to Tom calling his name. "Oh, Tom, you're awake."

"Where is Tim?"

"He went with Duncan and Travis to the store to buy some new games, Benny went with Mrs. Mary to church, and my mom took Lillian and Caleb to the park." Sam replied, glancing back at Travis's switch that he snagged from the other man's backpack "Mr. John should be asleep. Why, is something wrong?"

The redhead looked back at the brunette and could tell he was somewhat distressed, Tom was sort of bad when it came to masking his emotions due to the fact that he wore an actual mask so no one saw his face. Sam adjusted himself so that he was no longer hogging the couch by laying down and instead, leaned against the arm of the couch and crossed his legs.

Tom immediately walked over and sat in his lap, resting an ear on where Sam's heart to listening to the soft beating of the redhead's heart.

"Would you like to talk about it, Tom?" Sam asked after a minute.

"No, not really..." Tom replied, wrapping his arms around Sam's mid section. Sam hummed in response. Tom could hear Sam pause his game to run his fingers through Tom's hair, his first reaction was to flinch but managed to control his flinch as he melted into the touch.

The brunette fell asleep a few minutes later, clinging onto Sam and listening to his heart beat. Sam only smiled before turning off his game and placing the switch on the coffee table and wrapping his arms around the smaller male, falling asleep a few minutes later.

I hate burn outs and writer's/artist block. They suck.

I couldn't think of anything to do, really. It was either this, CandleBrace on a picnic, some other ship, or Sam suffering from gender dysphoria.

I also stayed up past 4 am to days in a row, that also probably contributed to my lack of motivation-

Edit: forgot to mention, this is a kind of "second chance" au. Where the weavers get a second chance in life.
