Summary:
The Intelligence Services Family Support Foundation was the organisation that worked to meet those needs for families across the services, and its annual fundraiser was only two weeks away. The reception cum talent show was an odd but popular event that brought in a lot of money.
At 500 quid just to get in the door, patrons of the foundation enjoyed an evening of drinks and hearty nibbles before enjoying the talents of intelligence officers and support personnel throughout the services. The evening was capped off with a silent auction for donated swag, the bidding on which could sometimes go into the thousands of pounds.
Those who attended the gala – politicians, celebrities, sports figures, authors, artists, and other Londoners of note – gave generously but expected to be well entertained for their philanthropism.

Oh and yeah, as you might have noticed, I’ve included a little celebratory bonus with this second release, hehe. Pretty happy with how this moodboard turned out though I wanted a picture of a hand running through luscious hair, dammit. Top right is Alexander the Great (hmmmm I wonder who he might represent...), and bottom left is Patroclus, Achilles’s very close friend in mythology. In other words, two of the most notorious gay/bi guys from ancient times, hehehe... just to take the fic title a bit more at face value.

Before I forget about advertising it, here’s the remix I wrote for @mi6-cafe‘s 2023 Riverhouse Remix, based on Savour by @anyawen! Not exactly the first idea I had for this remix (”where is Alec???” I can hear you inquire behind your screen), but said first idea fell apart... so I had to improvise something quickly before time was up 😅 Far out of my comfort zone, not gonna lie, but still a pretty good stylistic exercice. Hope you enjoyed—or will enjoy—it, hehe.
