Three weeks after Alberta Premier Danielle Smith highlighted a letter that raised concerns about the City of Edmonton, a Freedom of Information Request has failed to find the document.

On March 27, Smith told reporters she had various concerns about the City of Edmonton.

She did not get into details aside from saying the city is dealing with significant financial troubles, something Edmonton city council has been open about.

Smith did say some of her concerns stemmed from hearing that a letter was being sent to the minister of Municipal Affairs.

“I don’t want to pre-judge what may or may not be in a letter that we’ve been told that we’ll receive,” the premier told reporters. [...]

A 98 year old veteran of the division received a standing ovation in the Canadian Parliament yesterday, with Ukrainian President Zelensky even raising his fist to honor the old nazi.

A regular Thursday evening for a family living in north Edmonton quickly turned to terror as the Edmonton Police Service tactical team banged in their door. Alberta RCMP said officers believed there could be a victim held a gunpoint — but it turned out to be a false allegation. The frightening mistake happened Thursday, Nov. 2 around 5:20 p.m. at a home near 148th Avenue and 75A Street in the Kilkenny neighbourhood, and was captured on security camera video. The family didn’t know why there was an EPS tactical vehicle with ram rod knocking in their front door. At the same time, police stormed the home’s back door and three screaming teenagers were taken outside, where they were told to lay face down on the ground.

hi everyone !

i’ve been in edmonton for the past week, i just got back last night ! i did manage to do some studying thankfully :)

i’ve got just under a month until my lsat, so i’m definitely feeling the pressure now… but now that i’m home, it’s back to regular studying !
