pluto in aquarius: a prediction of what's to come
this is a huge astrological event, pluto is moving into aquarius for the first time since the late 1700s. last time pluto was in aquarius america fought for independence from britain, uranus was discovered, the french revolution began, the bill of rights was ratified, etc.
so for day one, i want to create predictions of what is to come!
some house matters!!!
TWO PLUTO RETROGRADES WILL OCCUR - june 11th - jan 20th, 2024 is the first so we won't see too much wildness just yet as pluto will return into capricorn during this time and THE FINAL RETROGRADE BACK INTO CAPRICORN will be september 1st, 2024 - november 19th, 2024. then we are full steam ahead with pluto in aquarius until march 9th, 2043.
i personally am NOT a witch or anything wild, everything i am saying is purely theoretical - it is not fated to happen just because i am saying it. i am simply socially aware. i know what's up generally in the world today and what was up in world in the 1700s - "history typically repeats itself."
i live in the usa so my post likely will be slightly more focused there examples wise so i apologize in advance! feel free to comment, dm, or reblog with other examples from your country based on my prediction key phrases.
i am going to start light and get darker so mentally prepare yourself for that (tw: STI/STD outbreaks, war, 9/11, COVID-19, and other abrasive topics that may make people uncomfortable depending on where they are currently reading from) - but we are talking about pluto so... expect the unexpected?!

renewable energy sources
aquarius is electricity, light, inventions, electronics, telephones, televisions, etc while pluto can be change! i recently bought a new tv and the back of the remote has a solar panel instead of a battery pack. i do believe we will see more evolution with technology; perhaps we will see solar changed phones! otherwise pluto is also pollution and natural disasters - the climate is in crisis mode perhaps we will see more responsibility and thus changes in our sourcing of energy! example: recently i read that japan has a great source of geothermal energy. currently the conversion to using this source (instead of coal, gas, and nuclear energy) is being held up by a higher up in the hot spring business who claims switching to a new energy system "threatens centuries-old traditions" (bang - a capricorn term - tradition - so perhaps after the retrogrades are through we will see a major shift in energy sourcing).
general technological advancements/inventions
last time pluto was in aquarius the cotton gin was invented; which aided in quicker production of goods and higher demand for american cotton. i strongly believe this is a general indicator that AI is going to become an even bigger part of day to day life. i have seen AI already replace those who take orders in the panera drive thru, there is a higher demand for philosophy/english grads to help teach AI, etc. aquarius is also new teachers/occupations so AI could become the new teachers OR new careers could be coming in the area of interacting with AI generally so it gains more consciousness. so it could be AI or it could be something else that is only just a dream in the back of someone's mind at this moment in time.
altruistic extremists
we may see utopian dreamers rise up! they are likely to advocate for the deconstruction of pre-existing political institutions in favor of either self governance or egalitarian policies. they will likely do whatever it takes to make this statement; we may see more protests / political statements similar to wynn bruce's.
fanatical/extremist announcers radio/tv
we already have biased stations and channels (fox, abc, cnn, nbc, etc). we are likely to see a further rise in politically biased newscasters and announcers.
demonization of astrology
astrology is aquarian in nature but pluto is fanatics, evil, demonics, etc. the community has been saying about the next world war for a while now. we are moving out of conservative pluto in capricorn, so we may find that those of deep belief systems accusing us [astrologers] of conspiring with the devil if/when something militant arises (similar to how the tarot community gets told constantly by christians that they must be satanists).
something with birds
i don't have this nailed down yet specifically, but both aquarius and pluto are rulers of birds. aquarius is large birds while pluto is wading/swamp birds and/or flesh eating birds. no one freak out and start thinking that i am indicating something like the 1963 horror film the birds. if anything i can see more bird-spread illness and/or parasites. OR pluto can be archaeology! there may be a bird related discovery or something to do with the distant relative of the bird - aka the raptor (dinosaur related).
a new STI/STD discovery/outbreak
aquarius represents the distribution of bodily fluids while pluto is often representative of sexual activity. this could either be an outbreak because pluto can be death, extremes, catastrophes, and/or casualties OR pluto can be ph balance in the body (possible new discoveries for feminine sexual health), kidneys (perhaps a discovery will be linked to the diminished functionality associated with syphilis, hiv, etc and how to combat more symptomatic issues), and even purification (aka a cure perhaps to help viral carriers to no longer pass the sti/std to sexual partners).
collapse of congress / house of commons/representatives
i mean it only stands to reason that the bill of rights was created/approved last time pluto was in aquarius that either those rights will disappear (pluto also represents dictators) OR simply the people rise up and demolish the institution as it stands: "...whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government..."
airplane catastrophes
aquarius rules over planes and pluto can represent accomplices, catastrophes, casualties, b0mbs, and t3rr0r!sm. we may experience another event similar to 9/11 OR we may see air strikes in a potential world war 3 scenario.
societal change: crime, war, leadership, and more
world war 3 is on the horizon so say pluto in aquarius (probably in the wake of election year in the US - when the final retrograde into capricorn concludes). but this could also just be governmental restructuring - this could be seen as rebellions (similar to the French Revolution), the rise of organized crime if good become more scarce, religious shifts (pluto is the antichrist, aquarius is freewill (first amendment), and capricorn is the old church (christian schools of thought)), etc.
aquarian terms i can't think of change in but seem important to note / keep in mind: freethinkers, hamburg germany, heart weakness (biden - perhaps the early death of a president in office?), motion picture (already changing as more theaters close), photography, psychology (we are already starting to care more about everyone's mental health), science (general scientific discoveries?), social affairs (there is always something going on - the question is how big will this be?), society, sweden, syria, and xray.
plutonian terms i can't think of change in but seem important to note / keep in mind: abductions (aliens - ufo sights?), aliases, alibis (governmental riffing similar to how no plan was in place when for COVID-19), assass!nat!0n (hopefully not), betrayal, bootlegging (bootleg tiktok if america bans it?), cemeteries (removal of that method if too many are dying at any giving time - mass graves?), convicts (prison release due to overcrowding? the mega-prison of el salvador?), corruption (governmental likely?), demolitions, earthquakes (more environmental issues?), electrocution, executions (war?), fanatic, extremes, floods (environmental? emigration - society is aquarius after all?), liars, massacres (the rise of crime?), murder, nihilism (the rise of philosophy at the time of war?), ransom (war?), satire (rise of political satire?), stolen goods, and taxes (trump-esque no?).

“Okay, see you there, honey.” Yeonjun said, before I pressed the ‘call end’ symbol.
It was Tuesday now…three days since Yeonjun made his decision to leave his parents and their company. Even though I had told him again and again that his parents would definitely pull themselves together and get in touch with him, I didn't seem to be right.
On Sunday we both made the decision to tell my parents everything before it might be too late. They deserved to know the truth, even if no one could predict their reaction.
I had simply told my parents that I wanted to introduce them to a boy. No more and no less. They sounded happily surprised on their cell phones and they were looking forward to the dinner, which was about to happen. Since Yuna knew about me and Yeonjun, I begged her to busy my mind beforehand. So we went shopping in town before it turned 5 o'clock and I had to say goodbye to my bestie. Yeonjun would drive himself to my parents while I took the bus. It would have been a detour for him to get to the city first, even if he offered to pick me up.
Anyway, I was now sitting in the bus and it was just before the stop where I had to get off. Yeonjun would come later than me, which was a good thing. The quarter hour gave me the opportunity to raise some awareness within my parents.
I stared absentmindedly at the road rushing beneath the bus.
To be honest, I was so excited that I felt like I was going to take off at any moment. On the other hand, telling my parents the truth was the right decision. Even though I didn't think they would disown me like Yeonjun's parents did... I didn't want to risk it either.
I trusted my parents...that they would understand...I hoped.
The announcement of the stop at which I had to get off echoed through the almost empty bus, so I dug my nails deeper into my bag.
The tiredness from this morning was gone. I couldn't get any rest tonight and the three lectures didn't really help either...but as time progressed...my heart beat faster and faster against my chest. The bus stopped and I got up to get off, although I briefly thought about just staying seated.
Today was a surprisingly beautiful day. My birthday was approaching and I fervently hoped to be able to celebrate it with my parents.
I had to walk for about five minutes to get to my parents' house, unfortunately today it felt like an hour. It was probably because I was walking so slowly.
My heart was beating faster and faster, my stomach was twisting and my intestines didn't seem to leave me in peace either.
A little desperate, I looked at my cell phone, which showed me the time was 5:37 p.m. I had told my parents I would be there at half past five...so I was already a little late. I could imagine 50,000 other scenarios that I would prefer right now. What was I even supposed to say?!
...actually I had been racking my brain about it all day today...on two occasions I even had some pretty good ideas...but unfortunately I had forgotten them again.
I finally stopped in front of my parents' house.
My gaze wandered over the suburban home where I grew up. I used to call it home...but right now it felt like a house of horrors that I didn't want to go into.
Come on Sumi! You've waited long enough. They are your parents, they deserve the truth!
I hesitantly walked along the entrance until I finally stopped in front of the front door and hesitantly put my finger on the doorbell and finally pressed it after five seconds.
My mother literally seemed to have been waiting behind the door as quickly as she opened it.
"Ah, there you are!” She greeted me and pulled me straight into a hug.
"How are you? Everything good?" She continued to ask as she let go of me and invited me inside.
I looked at her for a moment.
"I am fine." I lied and my mother smiled widely before looking over my shoulder.
"Where did you leave your boyfriend?” She asked and I gulped as I kicked off my sneakers.
"He...he's coming soon.” I muttered as I got rid of my shoes and crawled into the slippers that were waiting for me.
Meanwhile, my mother closed the door behind me.
"I guess the gentleman is shy, huh?" I heard my father's voice, which made me look up. He was standing in the hallway and smiled warmly at me.
I took a breath...
"Seems so." I muttered.
My father laughed briefly before turning around and disappearing into the living room, where my mother followed him.
"I made delicious food!" My mother announced and I trotted into the living room after my parents.
My father was already sitting at the dining table and had opened the newspapers that he had probably read.
My mother stood behind the kitchen island and poured some water into a glass.
Oh man...they seemed really happy...and there was nothing wrong with that...but I felt like I was under electricity.
"Here. When is your darling coming?” My mother asked, handing me the glass. I wrinkled my nose and took the glass from her.
"I don't use that pet name for him." I said and my father started to laugh, which drew my mother and my attention to him.
"What do you call him?" He asked and I took a sip first. Oh man, how do I start this off gently before Yeonjun rings here in no less than ten minutes?!
"He usually calls me Honey or... little one and I...I don't know...", something popped up in my mind, that seemed like a good start, "I call him Junnie."
"Junnie? Is that a nickname?" my father asked, he still had a big smile on his lips.
"How long have you been together?" My mother asked before I took another sip, hoping it would calm me down.
"Two months." I mumbled and mom's eyes widened.
"Really?"
"Hm..."
Then there was silence in which I could swear I could hear my heartbeat.
"I can't wait to meet him." My father said and took off his glasses. I just nodded.
"He...may not be what...you imagine." I said sheepishly, even though I could barely hear myself.
"Oh, sweetie, don't be so afraid, as long as he's nice to you, we'll like him." My mother said and went to my father.
If only she didn't regret that statement.
She sat down next to my father who nodded.
"We'll be nice, you know us." he said.
Yes...I knew them...and I knew who they hated...
"Sit down first, when is your boyfriend coming?" Dad asked, pointing to a chair at the front of the table.
I took another breath before slowly starting to move.
It was a miracle that I wasn't shaking with excitement.
"Maybe in ten minutes." I said as I sat down.
"Then it's good." My father said and put his glasses back on to continue reading his magazine. Meanwhile, I turned my glass around in my hands.
Damn, Yeonjun was coming soon and I hadn't prepared my parents for what was about to happen.
"If he's nice to me...can you get along with anyone?” I asked cautiously as I lifted my gaze and looked my mother in the eyes again.
"Of course sweetie, why are you so scared?"
My mother just knew me too well. She could smell my emotional state from ten meters away, against the wind.
"Because he...he really won't be what you expect.” I said cautiously, which made my father look up from his magazine.
He raised an eyebrow: "Hopefully he's not older than me..."
I started to laugh briefly before looking back at my glass, "No...he's only four years older than me."
"Oh so much older? I thought it was someone from your university." My mother said and I looked up again.
"No...he...we know each other from somewhere else.” I said and my parents exchanged a look.
"But four years is nothing...I mean your mother and I are six years apart.” My father pointed out and I began to nod again.
I jumped when the doorbell rang.
Shit! Yeonjun not yet!
"Oh that must be him!" My mother said and jumped up from her chair. Like her, I jumped up, which attracted everyone's attention.
"I'm opening the door! Please wait here!" I almost demanded. My parents raised their eyebrows.
"Yeah...okay, we'll stay here." My father tried to calm me down. However, my brain was numb.
This wasn't the perfect time Yeonjun! If only I had walked a little faster earlier.
Without saying anything, I turned around and practically ran out of the living room. I quickly rushed to the door, glanced over my shoulder to make sure my parents weren't looking and opened the door once I was sure.
"Oh...hey." Yeonjun greeted me, seeming relieved to see me behind the door.
"Lucky you're already here, I thought I was too early.” He said, but I didn't say anything in response, just pushed him back a little and also stepped out of the door, only to pull it slightly behind me so that my parents wouldn't recognize his voice immediately.
"Everything OK?"
"You're way too early! I haven't had any time to prepare them yet!” I said frantically, but so quietly that only Yeonjun would understand me.
His big surprised eyes quickly softened as he began to smile.
"I thought you said you weren't excited." He said and put a hand on my waist. He pulled me a little closer to him and I couldn't help the pent-up feeling from running out of my lungs.
He was right, but I only said that to calm him down. He was so restless on Sunday that I had to calm him down somehow. So I just said that. And it wasn't a lie on Sunday I really wasn't afraid, but things looked completely different now.
"I'm excited as shit..." I admitted as I placed my hands against his chest. His light blue denim jacket served as support.
"Little one, we'll manage it." Yeonjun murmured before I felt his forehead fall against mine. I closed my eyes shortly afterwards.
"Remember? As long as we stay together, we'll get through it all..." He whispered and, as if by magic, my heart calmed down a little. Yeonjun was right! No matter what happened...we would stick together.
"You look amazing by the way!" Yeonjun said after leaning back. This statement brought a smile to my lips. When I looked up at him I was greeted by a warm smile that told me everything was going to be okay.
"You too." I murmured, which only made his smile grow wider.
I really loved when he styled his fluffy hair in a pony, it made his features so much kinder and sweeter.
"We're going in here together and out together, no matter what happens.” He said and I couldn't help but pull myself up on tiptoes and give him a quick kiss on the lips.
"I love you!" I whispered after I was fully back on my feet.
Yeonjun had to laugh for a moment: "Hmm...good for you!"
His statement was followed by a slap on my butt. I rolled my eyes before taking his hand in mine and taking another breath.
I could do it all with him. It was almost scary how quickly Yeonjun calmed my excitement. Of course my stomach was still churning, but I seemed to be calmer in everything.
Finally I turned around and pulled him with me.
With him on my hand, I felt prepared for whatever might come. So I opened the door without thinking about it and led Yeonjun into the house where I would never have ever expected him to be.
Yeonjun quickly took off his shoes and put on the slightly larger slippers, before we exchanged a quick look. Yeonjun pressed his lips together and nodded once, which told me it was now or never.
A little hesitantly, I turned around and led the way.
However, I positioned myself in the entrance to the living room so that Yeonjun wouldn't be visible behind me.
"You have to promise me not to freak out." I said to my parents who were sitting expectantly at the dinner table.
My father laughed: "Bring him in already!"
I took a deep breath as I looked intently at my parents. I slowly entered the room so Yeonjun could enter too. He was following me, from what I could make out by the footsteps behind me. My eyes never left my parents for a second, not even when both of their jaws dropped.
I held my breath as I saw Yeonjun bowing next to me.
"Hello...nice to see you again.” Yeonjun greeted my parents respectfully before standing upright again.
No one in the room said anything after that. I didn't even think I could hear or see my parents breathing. Only the ticking clock brought an impatient sound into the silence.
My mother was the first to close her mouth and look at me. Her face was hard to read, but I didn't have time to as my father pushed his chair back and slowly got up.
I could read his look exactly. He was angry...every muscle in his face told me that. My heart began to beat faster again.
"Dad...please don't be angry...I told you he's not what you expected." I tried to reassure my father as he rounded the table. His gaze was fixed on Yeonjun, who audibly gasped as my father approached.
Instinctively, I took a step forward and stopped my father by placing my hands on his chest. He would never harm me, but I wasn't so sure about Yeonjun...the way my father looked at him.
"Dad please. Listen to us first.” I tried to calm him down and his eyes actually found mine.
"Mike...Sumi is right, let's eat first." I heard my mother's voice. Hearing her statement gave me some strength to hold my father's gaze longer.
"Choi Yeonjun?!" my father hissed. But before I could reply, I felt a hand on my shoulder.
"Sir, I have no intention of insulting you. I'm not like my parents, I don't mean to harm you. All I want is a nice dinner to explain all this." I heard Yeonjun say, which gave me even more strength.
My father looked intently at Yeonjun behind me. But to my relief, every fiber of his being no longer seemed to want Yeonjun dead.
"Dinner with you?!" my father asked and suddenly I saw my mother next to him.
"Mike, sit down. Don't do anything stupid.” She said and my father seemed to calm down a little more, which calmed the racing of my heart too.
My father's gaze shifted to my mother, who pulled him back and smiled warmly at him.
When my father actually went back to his chair a little later, Yeonjun and I let out our breaths at the same time.
"Sit down, I will serve the food.” My mother said, looking back and forth between me and Yeonjun.
Unlike my father she seemed calmer and genuinely friendly. After she turned around into the kitchen, I exchanged a look with Yeonjun and raised my eyebrows briefly and shrugged.
Then I waled over and sat on the chair opposite my father, who looked at me skeptically. His eyebrows were so drawn together that you'd think he had a monobrow. Yeonjun sat down next to me shortly afterwards and my father's gaze wandered over to him, his face actually turned even darker like a cartoon character.
There was a more than awkward silence as my father leaned back and folded his hands over his ever-growing beer belly. He twiddled his thumbs more than obviously as he eyed Yeonjun. I could clearly feel his tension.
"What would you like to drink?" My mother asked, coming back to us and putting a glass in front of everyone.
She broke the awkward silence with a genuine smile on her lips.
"Beer…” My father grumbled at first and my eyes followed back to him. His gaze was still fixed on Yeonjun, as if he was silently asking him to say something next.
I started grinding my teeth. My excitement hadn't subsided in the slightest.
"I would like-"
"He's having a beer too!" My father interrupted Yeonjun. My tension grew.
“What do you want, my darling?” My mother asked and I slowly looked away from my father. Normally I would help my mother to get everything on the table, but I didn't dare leaving my father alone with Yeonjun.
"Please...something with alcohol too." I asked her and I also felt the other eyes on me.
Mom just nodded a little skeptical and turned around again.
I also turned back to my father, whose face seemed a little more relaxed.
Luckily my mother came back quickly and put the two bottles of beer on the table. She passed me a cocktail that she had probably already prepared. She had the same one.
My father grabbed his bottle pretty quickly and poured some into his beer glass, which Yeonjun did the same.
My father didn't hesitate for long and raised his glass to his lips. I was afraid he would drink it in one go as long as he sucked on the glass.
When he finally lowered it and half the glass was in his stomach, he cleared his throat.
"Two months, huh?” He began and I clutched my glass like a madwoman.
"We should have told you earlier...but it was...complicated.” Yeonjun took over the speaking, which took a huge burden off my shoulders.
"No no...you should wait two months anyway.", Dad said and then looked at me, "You should know whether it's something serious, right?"
I swallowed.
"So I think it's wonderful." My mother announced and caught everyone's attention.
Oh really?!
My mother looked around and her gaze landed on Yeonjun.
''Maybe we can finally settle the dispute like that.'' she continued and then looked at me. Her smile grew, if at all possible, even wider. All I heard from my father was an unconventional 'hm'.
''I'm not really sure about that.'’ Yeonjun said. His voice sounded defeated, which drew my eyes back to him.
Yeonjun fumbled his glass between his hands and stared briefly into the beer inside.
''My parents found out about this the wrong way…’’, Yeonjun looked up at my mother again and gave her a small smile, ''We had quite a fight.''
My mother's smile was gone when I looked back at her.
''What kind of argument?'' my father asked in between, attracting everyone's attention again.
''My father was very angry when he found out about me and Sumi.''
''Something completely new.'' my father grumbled.
''He kicked me out.'' Yeonjun said quickly before finally raising his glass and taking a sip.
My father's eyes widened and his gaze flickered to me: ''Kicked you out?''
I should finally say something.
''Do you see Dad? Yeonjun is not like what you think.''
''I decided against my family because my father wouldn't allow it.’’ Yeonjun said after lowering the glass again, which drew my father's gaze back to him. He studied Yeonjun for a while before leaning back in his chair.
You could literally hear the cogs working in his head.
''If that's not a token of love.'' my mother said quietly and I had to start smiling, but my eyes went to my lap. She was right, it really was.
''Really unbelievable, who would throw their own child out the door?'' My father asked and I looked up again.
''Oh, I have my own apartment, don't worry. I just have to look for my career somewhere else now." Yeonjun admitted and I looked at him again. We exchanged a quick look in which I tried to smile reassuringly at him before I also raised my glass to my lips.
''I...maybe I can help you there.'' my father said and Yeonjun's eyes widened.
''Excuse me?'' he asked my father as my eyes also went to my father.
''Two birds with one stone. I help my daughter's boyfriend to his feet and thus wipe out my competitor. Old Choi probably won't be happy to hear that his son is working for us.''
There was a moment of silence. Did my father just offer Yeonjun a job?! Was I dreaming?
''Of course only if you accept the offer.'' my father said and raised his eyebrows. I looked at Yeonjun, who was obviously completely perplexed...just like me.
''Wha-what kind of job?'' he asked and my father laughed.
''Well all the major management positions have been filled, but we still need readers. I'm sure you recognize good books when you read them, am I right?", My father said, raising his hand as he said, ''Starting salary 3.700.500 won per month without deductions.''
Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Yeonjun's jaw drop.
I stared at my father like a dumb bird as well.
''OK 3.800.500 won, I can't get you more than that. Probably still a lot less than you earned from your parents.''
''Oh no, no! I-wow that's a really...thank you.'' Yeonjun stuttered.
My father started to smile as he looked at me.
''You don't have to be afraid that I'll kick you out because of this, mouse, hopefully you know that. As long as you're happy, I'm happy too," he said, leaning forward a little.
I nodded immediately, only then could I start to smile.
''Good!'' my father said a little louder and raised his glass, ''Then on a successful future!''
The rest of the evening was surprisingly friendly and open-minded. My parents, especially my father, seemed to accept Yeonjun more and more every minute and I was honestly happy that my parents took it so well. I have to admit once I got here, there was really a part of me that was afraid my parents would react the same way Yeonjun's did.
But with my parents like this I could look calmly into the future and the same goes for Yeonjun, who introduced my parents to Hueningkai and his Manhwa on the first day in the company. Hueningkai had already canceled the contract with the Choi's one day after the argument between Yeonjun and his parents. He said he wanted to publish it together with Yeonjun and not otherwise. So Yeonjun brought a great success to our company, which only made my father like him even more.
Every day felt like a fairytale after that drama with Yeonjun's parents. And even though I thought my life felt like Romeo and Juliet at one point...it was ultimately much better than Shakespeare's drama.
Two months later
It was Sunday and I was sitting at the breakfast table with Yeonjun in his apartment. As almost always, I had only woken up ten minutes ago and Yeonjun had already prepared breakfast. He was typing away on his phone as I drank my orange juice.
''Huening just can't stop thanking me.’’ Yeonjun finally broke the silence and I laughed when he looked at me.
''We should actually thank him.'' I retorted as I lowered my glass again.
Yeonjun nodded with a smile and looked back at the screen after it vibrated again.
''We can invite him to dinner sometime.'' I suggested and looked at Yeonjun again. He stared frozen at his display.
''Are you okay?'' I asked and Yeonjun looked at me without moving a muscle in his face. I raised an eyebrow, when he turned his phone towards me my eyes widened too.
The chat he showed me was between his mother and him.
I recognized a message, the first in two months:
Yeonjun, your father would never admit it, but he misses you and he's sorry. I finally convinced him to talk to you again. I'm also so sorry that I didn't get in touch sooner, but I was honestly embarrassed to write to you, after what your father did. We would both be happy to invite you to dinner on your next day off, preferably with Jung Sumi.

When I first saw you, I was a bit inspired.
"Aah, he's imitating my hairstyle," I thought... "Perhaps he wants to become like me."
Remembering the previous conversation, I held an interest in you...
Your mother must have predicted that, and tied your hair in a braid.
That's why I said she's discerning.

Wataru: "Kidnapped" makes it sound scandalous... But I'm glad, let's have fun watching a play together.
Both acting and viewing are lonely when done by yourself. Let's snack on popcorn and excitedly discuss our thoughts with each other.
Japan has strict theatre manners, but plays have been that sort of event since time immemorial. Like in Shakespeare's time.
Hokuto: Don't speak like you were there for it, President.
Wataru: I've been doing my research you know, Shakespeare's a classic after all.
As is the play we're going to see today, "Romeo and Juliet"♪
It's known as a tragedy, and yet, I can't agree with that assessment.
Hokuto: ? Isn't it a standard tragedy?
Wataru: If you think about it using the common rules of this fleeting world, yes. But they were surely united after death, no?
One committed suicide, the other committed murder, so they certainly both fell into hell together.
However, "wherever you are is Heaven"... is what's conveyed in the play.
Because they went so far as to repeat such a sentiment over and over, time after time, the ending is not a tragedy.
Death is not the end, nor is it hopelessness. It is proof that they were finally together.
It's a connection, a blessing. That is how I interpreted the story's meaning.
If it's not true, then... Ah, God, Shakespeare, for what purpose did you document the suffering of this man and woman?
To sneer at these pitiful two, or else, to feel self-satisfied in your pity for them?
No - "Romeo and Juliet" is a congratulatory address for the two being united for eternity!

A Few Things I’ve Learned While “living my life for myself and not others”
1. Everything I’m worried about can wait until tomorrow, worrying doesn’t make it go away
2. The only that’s going to kill me, is what actually kills me — not the thing I’m worried about
3. It’s okay to disappoint people — especially your parents, your idols, your mentors; they aren’t the ones who have to live with your regrets
4. Real love can’t be pushed away, it always comes back seeking or lives in another place — still loving
5. Writing people off is double edged sword. . . Don’t make other peoples decisions for them
6. You can make someone jealous, they can desire you or be entertained — but you can’t make someone respect you, cherish you, or be devoted to you
7. Real relationships just accept you as you are, and want you to show up as you are — they aren’t interested in the “ideal” you
8. Also, real relationships will be your most loving critics and hold you accountable whilst being supportive
9. You’ll never truly know what someone is thinking or feeling, just let them show you
10. You’re not a toy or a resource — for other people to take from
11. Your body isn’t an accessory, take care of it and be kind to it
12. There’s a chance tomorrow exists, you should entertain the idea of it
13. Having a plan B doesn’t mean you’re expecting to fail, it just means you’re not afraid to succeed
14. It’s okay when things don’t happen according to plan, you can still enjoy yourself
15. You aren’t weak if you don’t succeed, you gave it your all, it’s just life
16. I think it’s extremely healthy to learn when to tell yourself no; indulgence is a treat and over indulgence is just being greedy
17. Do the thing you’re most scared of — everyone is scared of something, it’s better to live a life of passion and light than a life of fear (and anyways, it gives you something to talk about)

21. There are things you can’t prevent or avoid, you have to learn how to cope, have appropriate emotional responses, and get through it

1. Were you named after anybody?
Yes I am--my middle name is from my paternal grandmother, who is an amazingly strong woman who emigrated from Mexico to raise her five young boys on her own. I passed that name to my kiddo, too. My first name is from my great-grandmother on my mom's side. I was just fortunate enough to inherit her antique sewing/writing desk, which now where I often write from!
2. When was the last time you cried?
Ha! Today. One of my small humans was sad, and I was sad with her. I wanted to show her it's okay to be sad.
3. Do you have kids?
I do, two lovely small imps that I adore.
4. Do you use sarcasm a lot?
Oh, not at all. [sarcastic]
5. What sports do you play/have played?
I played soccer and volleyball back in the day. I was good at neither, but I definitely had fun!
6. What's the first thing you notice about someone?
If they are a listener or sharer (or somewhere in between). I often forget faces I should remember 😬
7. Eye color?
Light brown, some green.
8. Scary movies or happy endings?
Ah, happy endings. I used to like scary movies, but I don't anymore.

I can often predict the plot twist of movies. My husband calls it my superpower. It's fun when I'm right, but I LOVE it when I can't.

11. What are your hobbies?
Gardening is my main hobby. I love writing and am getting into art too, but I don't have as much time for those hobbies in this season of life. Gardening I can do with my kiddos 💚

Not right now. I am allergic to cats and dogs...but I can dream! Maybe one day. I love doggies.
13. How tall are you?
I'm pretty average. I can turn off the smoke alarm without a stepstool if I jump just right.
14. Favorite subject in school?
English (reading/writing). Books were my everything!
15. Dream job?
Much like @16magnolias, I also had a dream job before my youngest was born. I taught writing at university and helped coordinate their undergrad writing program. I will say though, I don't think that's still my dream job. When I do go back to work, I might work with preschoolers or kindergarteners. That early age range is just magical :)

The trios and their similarities: Erwin and Armin - Aot Talk
If you just stumble on this post know that I'm just mostly writing for myself as I have lots of thoughts regarding aot. Whether you like my opinions or not you're free to interact, but do it respectfully (why did that sound just like Eren)
The other parts of "The Trios and their similarities" series: (upcoming)
Here I present my new episode of AoT talk. Today I'm gonna ramble about how two trios seem to reflect each other, being today's protagonists Erwin and Armin. This can be coincidences (although that's not a very Isayama's thing) or I'm on to something here. Either way this is not an deep analysis just random things that I noticed. By the way all this thought started here.
Both have a similar appearance: I can still remember when my sister was watching season 4 and asked me honestly if Armin had cut his hair to resemble Erwin. They are simply and obviously very similar in appearance. I swear if I didn't know I would think that they were related.

Both are great strategists: So none of them is an 11 in Intelligence but they are both 10 in strategist. Throughout the story, both show various times how they could predict, understand and come up with a plan even when the situation seems to be hopeless.

Both used their ability for speech and manipulation to have their way instead of force: This is mainly seen when Armin tries to capture Annie by using their friendship and Erwins's season three speech when confronting the Beast or even Erwin's whole plan in No Regrets manga.
Both sacrifice themselves on the same battle, each on one side of the wall: While Erwin was charging towards the Beast with all the rookies in a suicidal gamble, Armin was sacrificing himself so the colossal Titan could be defeated.

Both believed and were enthusiastic about something beyond the walls during childhood, being their dreams to confirm it: While Erwin was curious on whether were there humans outside the walls and later comfirm is dad's theory, Armin was curious about what other things could be found outside the wall, just like lava and the sea due to his grandpa's book (or dad's as it is only mentioned that his grandpa hid it).

Both had parents who were interested in what was outside the wall : Erwin's dad being a teacher end up noticing flaws in the history of how they had started to live inside the walls making him interest in the outside world. Despite not having a lot of information regarding Armin's parents, we know they care about the outside world enough to try to leave.

Both of their parents died by the hand of Djel Sannes from the First Interior Squad of the Military Police due to being to curious about the world outside the walls: While Djel is being torture by Hange and Levi he confesses killing at least four people. While Erwin's dad is directly shown to be one of them, the couple being Armin's parents isn't as obvious. However, due to Armin mentioning that they were going to go outside the walls and the other people mentioned by Djel were parents of other characters, I believe that is pretty solid that they were Armin's parents.

Both had that dream as their main motivation to enter the Survey Corps and fight: Although being a slave to a dream being a recurrent thing, both of them joined because they desire to finally confirm if what they were once told about the world outside the walls was true. However one can say that Erwin's situation is a bit more complex but that's for another post.

Despite all this it is still noticeable that they are also very different characters. But I also think that lots of their differences are due to different levels of maturity, as they are in very different ages and have different levels of experience. However, the more I thought I couldn't stop how they were similar in these little details.

The Memories of the Past Arc is a story arc segmented into two parts: The Memories of The Past & Present Day, and each chapter focuses on a different pair of characters. The first segment explores how they met and became partners, while the second segment focuses on the aftermath of what happened in the previous story arc.
As a side-note, all of the chapter titles are also the titles of each character’s theme songs: His World for Sonic, Believe In Myself for Tails, Unknown From M.E. for Knuckles, My Sweet Passion for Amy, Dreams of an Absolution for Silver, I Am... All Of Me for Shadow and What I’m Made Of for Metal Sonic.
Part 4 of this story arc’s analysis will focus on Amy Rose and Minami Kusakabe and be split into two segments; the first segment focusing on the story itself and the second part being an in-depth character analysis.
-The Memories of The Past: Amy & Minami-
''Let's see what the future holds for you,'' Amy Rose flipped a tarot card, her brow furrowing as she looked at the symbol on it. She felt a slight chill flowing down her spine when she realized that the card was telling her that her client, a female sheep ARNav clutching a handbag and looking quite nervous, would have really bad luck today. She felt sorry for her, racking her brain to come up with something, an explanation that wasn't too gloomy. ''Um, well…''
Amy Rose is introduced as an employee at a fortune telling shop by reading her tarot cards and interpreting the future of her client, which unfortunately isn’t too good. She is quite nervous, well aware that her client would get upset and is worried about her employer getting angry at her.
As it turns out, Amy always wanted to help people with her fortune telling, but unfortunately for her, most of her predictions turn out to be negative, leading to people calling her a curse and believing that she is the one controlling their fortune, instead of understanding that she can only interpret the future, not control it.
Unfortunately for Amy, her employer is already furious with her in regards to scaring off customers, so she fires her. Amy is left dejected, wondering if she even has a place in this world.
Meanwhile, we are introduced to Minami Kusakabe and her childhood friend Makoto Ryle, with Minami dragging Makoto towards the fortune telling shop Amy was working at, with Minami not caring about Makoto bringing up how the fortunes there sound more like curses, as she wants to experience it herself.
Makoto rolled his eyes, the two finally arriving at the fortune telling shop, only to see a pink hedgehog walking out of it, looking quite downcast. Minami blinked in surprise, turning to Makoto as both of them recognized the ARNav, and ran up to her.
''Hi,'' Minami greeted her, with Amy lifting her head, a bit startled by the sudden greeting. ''The name is Minami Kusakabe, and this is my friend Makoto. Do you know if we're at the right place?'' Minami asked, pointing at the shop behind them. ''We were told that this is where those cursed fortunetellings happen.''
''I'm Amy Rose, and yeah, you are at the right place,'' Amy replied, still crestfallen. ''Although, you won't getting any of them, since I got fired.''
''So, you were the one who'd do those fortune readings,'' Makoto stated, with Amy nodding in confirmation.
''Right, and I feel that it would be better if I didn't,'' she replied, lowering her gaze. ''All I wanted was to help people, but everyone got angry because bad stuff happens that I have no control over. If anyone here is cursed, then it's me, because somehow, everything I say comes true.''
''Then, you are exactly the one I've been searching for,'' Minami said, clapping her hands in excitement. ''I was actually searching for you, as I wanted to have my fortune read as well.''
''Wait, really? Even though you know that something bad might happen? Even though you have been told that I'm 'cursed'?'' Amy asked, reluctant to to agree to do what Minami asked her.
''You said that you have no control over it, so there is no reason for me to be angry at you; and even if it does come true, at least I'll be warned,'' Minami replied. Amy stared at her for a moment, then nodded.
After meeting Amy, Minami quickly reveals that she doesn’t care about whether Amy is cursed or not, she would be fine with whatever Amy tells her. Unfortunately for her, Amy realizes that she would have a chain of bad accidents and suddenly panics.
''Okay, then, so it'll be just your future,'' Amy said, placing the stack of cards in Minami's hand. ''Pick one from anywhere you want and keep it flipped down.'' Minami did as Amy said, with Amy then taking back the stack, placing it on the bench and then took Minami's card, flipping it around. Her ears were pinned down as a sense of dread filled her body when she saw the card. ''I… I'm sorry, but you're going to have a really bad day. As a matter of fact, it is going to be a chain of bad accidents, and…'' Amy shook her head, feeling the corners of her eyes tearing up. ''I'm so sorry, I didn't want this to happen! Please, don't be mad! I know I said that I have no control over the future, but I just know this one is going to come true.''
''Hey, don't worry,'' Minami comforted her, reaching for Amy's hand and keeping a tight grip around it, cupping it with her own. Amy suddenly realized that she was shaking and Minami's calm and gentle tone helped her calm down, if only a little. She stared at the teenage girl, stunned as she saw her smiling. ''Like I said, at least I'm prepared for the future.''
''Maybe, but I don't want you to get hurt,'' Amy protested, still anxious. ''I just have a bad feeling about this. Perhaps I should stay with you just to make sure nothing awful happens.''
''Sure, but don't you have somewhere else to go? A family or friends, perhaps?'' Minami asked, rising an eyebrow. Amy shook her head.
''I just got kicked out of the only place I could call my home. I don't really have anywhere to stay,'' Amy responded, wiping a tear away. Minami tilted her head, observing her curiously, only for a sly smile to spread across her expression, her eyes sparking as Makoto realized that she was once again up to something.
Amy believes that Minami would hate her for predicting a cursed day, only to be assured by Minami that everything is fine. Amy wonders whether she should stay with Minami to make sure nothing bad happens to her, with Minami actually looking forward to it. Unfortunately, they get interrupted by another Irregular attack.
The three go to check it out, finding Sonic, Lucas, Tails and Warren fighting a falcon Irregular, with Knuckles and Lily, as well as Touka, joining them. When the Irregular takes notice of Minami and Makoto, he attempts to attack them, only to get hit by Amy, who summons her Piko Piko Hammer and slams it right into the Irregular, sending him flying. This leaves Sonic quite impressed, with the whole group quickly running off when they hear the Irregular Hunters coming.
Once they’re at a more private space, Lucas, Sonic, Warren, Tails, Lily, Knuckles and Touka introduce themselves to Minami, Amy and Makoto. Amy is genuinely impressed by Sonic’s heroics, who responds how he just does things his own way. Amy then reveals how she predicted that she would meet him, which is why she came to Neos City, but believes that she cannot stay here because of her status as an Irregular.
''Because… I'm an Irregular,'' Amy admitted, closing her eyes as she placed her hand on her arm, avoiding looking at anyone. Minami and Makoto's eyes widened in surprise and they exchanged glances, before turning their gaze towards Lucas and his friends. For some reason, they didn't look nearly as shocked as they expected them to be. Minami then turned back to Amy, startling the latter when she placed a hand on her shoulder.
''You aren't going anywhere,'' Minami told her. ''Irregular or not, I want you to stay with me. You had told me that you don't have anywhere to go, and I actually wanted to ask you whether you would be fine with being my partner.''
''But…'' Amy was baffled, glancing at Makoto, who simply shook his head, arms folded across his chest.
''Don't even try arguing with Minami. Once she has made a decision, there's no way of convincing her to change her mind,'' Makoto replied. Amy turned to Minami, frown turning into a smile and then started to laugh in what sounded to be both relief and disbelief.
''Why does everything I foretell come true?'' She shook her head, rubbing her temples, then looking up. ''Another prediction I made was that I would find someone who'd understand me and my abilities, and accept me for who I am, but I thought that it couldn't be possible…''
''Hey, it's okay,'' Amy was surprised when Minami suddenly hugged her, pulling her in a tight embrace. Amy just hugged her back, happy to have finally found a place where she was accepted. Makoto turned his gaze towards the rest of the group, rising an eyebrow.
Minami absolutely refuses to let her go, offering her to stay with her. Amy is happy and relieved that she had finally found a home despite all odds, wanting to stay with Minami.
Makoto, meanwhile, points out how Lucas’ group doesn’t appear to be too shocked about the reveal of Amy being an Irregular, with them admitting that, yes, Sonic, Tails and Knuckles are also Irregulars, and Tails gives Amy an AR Visor to protect her identity. Amy offers to read all of their fortune, with everyone besides Touka agreeing.
-Present Day-
In the present day, we see Amy wandering through the Codex Research Facility, as Team Neos decided to explore it in order to find any more information. She overhears a conversation between Touka and Shadow and Warren and Tails about Prof. Hiroshi Sakamoto, Shadow’s creator (and the Gerald Robotnik of this story), with Warren recognizing the name as his late grandfather, Max Taylor, used to work with him.
Amy figures that she could help Shadow and Touka in her own way, offering to read their fortune, but before Touka can respond, she is whisked away by Minami, leaving Amy and Shadow alone. Shadow agrees to the fortune telling session, so long as Minami brings back Touka in one piece.
During the session, Amy points out how Shadow’s past had been filled with trials and tribulations, and how the card represents suffering and him still being chained to the past, and how he was basically suffocating under all of the pressure and expectations. The card that represents the present shows that Shadow still struggles with an inner turmoil. The card that shows the future genuinely surprises Amy.
''That is strange…'' Amy muttered as she stared at the card. ''That is the same card Sonic had pulled.''
''What do you mean?'' Shadow asked, now intrigued. Amy showed him the tarot card, which had an image of a person with a shadow of themselves looming over them.
''This is the Doppelgänger card. It usually indicates danger, a forewarning that a person will encounter a darker reflection of themselves; some kind of shadow archetype. In mythology, seeing your own Dopplegänger is an omen of death. The Doppelgänger may not always mean harm, but that doesn't mean they're capable of it. It can be taken metaphorically, as in the person is a danger to themselves; or it can be taken literally, as in the person in question will be in danger of someone who resembles them, be it physically or psychologically,'' Amy explained, handing the card over to Shadow, who furrowed a brow as he observed it.
''You said that Sonic drew the same card,'' he muttered, looking up at her. ''Did he find his Doppelgänger?''
''As a matter of fact, he did,'' Amy replied. ''A few days afterwards, he ran into Metal Sonic, who not only resembles him, but also almost caused him to drown. So, basically a literal death omen.'' She then gave him a sheepish smile. ''Then, there is you.''
''Me?'' Shadow rose an eyebrow.
''From what I've seen, you're literally Sonic's equal in any aspect, but without his optimism or desire to help people just because he can or…'' Amy trailed off as she saw the unamused look on Shadow's expression.
''To sum up, you're calling me his shadow archetype,'' Shadow added in a deadpan tone, returning the card to Amy and folding his arms across his chest. ''The irony is not lost on me.''
''Heheh, I guess it is kind of ironic…'' Amy laughed nervously, rubbing the back of her head, adding, ''Not to mention, you also put all of us into danger.''
She observed Shadow as his gaze lowered, avoiding eye-contact with her. ''I apologize for… for how I acted.''
''Don't worry, it's fine,'' Amy replied, shaking her head and giving him a warm smile. Shadow looked back at her, looking uncertain. It was still hard for him to process that everyone would forgive him so easily. ''Hey, if Sonic trust you, then I do too.''
Shadow wonders if they all trust Sonic so easily, with Amy admitting that he can be quite convincing, while Shadow agrees, but points out how his persistence is quite annoying.
Meanwhile, Minami has dragged Touka away to point out how this whole situation reminds her of the video game Sonic Adventure 2, with Touka having no clue what she is talking about. Minami is shocked by the reveal of Touka having never heard of any of the Sonic the Hedgehog games and insists on sending her all the games and lore for her to play and read through, so Touka can get up to date.
Minami is also curious about Touka and Shadow’s life at the Codex, showing her excitement about uncovering this mystery.
''I'm being involved in what is essentially a conspiracy theory, with government experiments, life-threatening situations, video game characters coming to life, and there is still more to uncover,'' Minami replied, clasping her hands, her eyes sparking. ''Could you please tell me what happened here? Pretty, please! At least a bit? I won't tell anyone… well, except for Amy.''
Touka admits how her life would’ve been boring without Shadow. She explains how she wasn’t allowed to do much, but with Shadow, things weren’t as bad and she they would often get into trouble, as well as look out for each other. They basically grew up together and consider each other as siblings. Minami can relate, as she too sees Amy as her younger sister and adores her a lot.
They then get interrupted by Silver and Knuckles, who had found something important.

Amy Rose is a major deuteragonist of Sonic Cyber Revolution. She is an Irregular ARNav based on her in-universe video game counterpart and is the partner of Minami Kusakabe.
Bold and fearless, Amy is a proactive go-getter who goes after what she wants and lets nothing get in her way. She is an energetic tomboy with a love for feminine activities, being very assertive and not afraid of speaking her mind. She is very expressive with her emotions and can be a bit aggressive if she feels threatened. She is also very sweet, compassionate and caring, wanting to helping people in trouble, and loves her friends dearly.
Amy’s hobby is fortune-telling via her tarot cards, and she is quite good at it, if not a bit too good. Much to her dismay, most of her predictions come true, one way or another: the bad predictions especially. This led to her becoming isolated, with people claiming how she was cursing them or bringing them bad luck. This is why she would often insist on not taking those predictions for granted, but no one would listen to her. She only desires to help people by telling their fortune, having no ill will towards them.
Amy is very skilled with her Piko Piko Hammer, smashing anything that looks funny at her into tiny pieces. Interestingly, the Piko Piko Hammer is actually very heavy, despite how it looks, with Amy being the only one strong enough to pick it up and wield it properly.
Upon using Chaos Surge alongside Minami, Amy is engulfed in pink sparks of energy, with her eyes turning from green to pink. This power-up allows her to unleash devastating shock waves with a swing of her Piko Piko Hammer, even being able to crack the crust of the earth with every slam.
Amy is very close to Minami, seeing her partner as her older sister, and deeply cares about her. Minami was the first person who didn’t judge her for her fortune-telling skills and she is quite thankful for having her by her side. However, knowing that Minami can easily get carried away with her own antics, Amy is also the one to usually pull her back on the right track. Nevertheless, the two love and support each other strongly.
Amy is also very attached to her teammates, seeing them as her closest friends and doing her best to keep up with them on their adventures, Sonic especially. However, unlike her video game counterpart, Amy doesn’t have a crush on Sonic, showing instead deep admiration for his heroics and being inspired by him to help people in her own way. in turn, Team Neos also tends to consult her for advice, either via her fortune-telling or, as Sonic points out to Shadow in a later chapter, to just talk about their feelings and relieving themselves of whatever emotional burden they’re carrying.
It should be noted that the outfit Amy is wearing in the story is her outfit from the Sonic Riders spin-off video games rather than her trademark red dress. She actually buys her red dress and her pink outfit her Sonic Boom counterpart is wearing after meeting Honey the Cat in Entry 29: Amy’s Cursed Day, becoming friends with Honey during their meeting.

Minami Kusakabe is Amy’s partner and, alongside the hedgehog, a member of Team Neos.
Minami is a very sweet and compassionate girl with a cheerful disposition, remaining optimistic even in the most dire of situations. She has a big heart and a very caring nature, being perky, passionate and persistent, especially around her friends. She does have a slightly mischievous streak and is very headstrong, being supportive of her friends and her partner and showing little to no fear in the face of danger. She is also the second youngest member of Team Neos (her and Makoto being 15, while Lucas, Lily, Warren and Touka are 16).
However, if you know her well, you would understand that those are only qualities she shows around her close friends, because under her sweet smile hides a darker nature, revealing a not so innocent side of her. Despite her appearance as a tomboy with a feminine streak, adoring anything cute and pastel-colored, Minami has a strong interest in the occult and supernatural, and is also something of a conspiracy theorist. As an example, in her room, you might find a collection of plush toys while also being covered in plastic spiders for decoration.
Minami can also be very manipulative and deceptive, using her skills at crying crocodile tears to get herself out of trouble and considers herself a very good actress. She likes to use her sweet nature as a façade to lull those who threaten her or her friends into a false sense of security before striking back.
Upon using Chaos Surge alongside Amy, Minami gains the ability to summon a hammer made out of pure pink energy, allowing her to smash through anything in her path, with her and Amy being quite skilled at working together as a team.
Minami considers Amy as her younger sister and adores her with all of her heart. She is fascinated by Amy’s fortune-telling skills, understanding her reservations and supporting her every decision. The two are almost inseparable, both looking out for each other, with Minami encouraging Amy whenever she feels crestfallen, while Amy makes sure Minami doesn’t get herself into trouble due to her mischievous streak.
Minami is childhood friends with Makoto Ryle, and despite their differing personalities, they get along quite well. Minami has a habit of dragging Makoto into her adventures, and Makoto having to look out for her to make sure she doesn’t get herself into trouble, being the voice of reason between the two.
Minami is also very close to the rest of Team Neos, and is noted to be the one who is the most informed about the Sonic the Hedgehog video game lore, being usually the first to make references to the games. Similarly to Amy, she shows a lot of compassion for her friends, but unlike Amy’s gentle approach when it comes to giving out advice, Minami is very blunt, being skilled at breaking the ice and speaking at truth no matter how uncomfortable it is. While it catches her friends off guard, they do appreciate her bluntness.
