DBD survivor sexuality and gender headcanons

(Some of these headcanons come with explanations from my brain)

(Part 1, Characters I have so far.)

Dwight: he gives me Asexual and homoromantic (so Gay/Ace) vibes. He’s probably Cis.

Meg: Cis Lesbian, she just has Lesbian vibes to me and I don’t know what it is.

Claudette: trans girl, transitioned pretty early on because her parents were accepting.

Jake: Nonbinary and Asexual. He uses He/Him pronouns still but doesn’t feel fully like a man but isn’t entirely Agender so he likes the term Nonbinary

Nea: I’d say either Questioning or a Cis/Het Ally. She’s best friends with both Meg and Claudette so she knows some “insider stuff” because of her besties

Bill: Ally, he doesn’t really care what’s in your pants/what you identify as and tries his best even if he does slip up with terms. Tries his very best when it comes to the different flags but sometimes he forgets.

David is a confirmed gay man, I don’t really have any further headcanons about it.

Ace: he is some flavour or queer even he can’t quite figure out. When asked he’d answer with “I’m just me.” so it’s left at that.

Feng: Ally, tries her best to understand. She was always kinda happy whenever a character in a game she would play was confirmed queer, liking the diversity and representation, so she’s not surprised in the slightest about all the lgbt survivors here with her.

Kate: Bisexual, she loves men and Women so much honestly. Some of her songs about love may have been written as neutral as possible just because of this.

Francis: Bi but doesn’t really care to come out to people. Others will know if it becomes relevant.

Jeff: Gay

Zarina: Bi or Pan. She only really realized around the time the fog took her so she thought she was a Lesbian for the longest time.

(Resident evil characters will be in a separate post)

Mikaela: Lesbian

Vittorio: Questioning/Queer. He’s always found some kind of fancy in men but never really explored it. He also never really explored if he was attracted to women. If asked he’ll just say he doesn’t know.

Felix: Bisexual. Took him a little while of being in the fog to figure it out though.

played a round of Artist to try and break some gens for a challenge (no perks, baby Killer)... I didn't start off with the intent of hurting, much less killing anyone.

Alright I'll probably never actually write a fanfic but I have this AU ish kind of idea in my head for a Edwin x Cat King fic

So their paths end up crossing again and again, same tension and banter as before etc etc we'll something happens and the cats come to Edwin, Charles, Crystal, Niko, and Monty (yes they are all part of the DBD agency because I said so) and the Cat King is in trouble, turns out the Cat King used to be a witches familiar (hence maybe where a big part of his magic comes from maybe?) He is no longer a witches familiar (for secret reasons that i haven't thought of yet) and has been living unchecked which maybe a magic council finds out and is gonna punish him. So the DBD gang sets out to save his ass and as they arrive at the scene they learn that if he continues to go "unclaimed" or "bound" to a witch they will erase him from existence. It's a big affair, a big crowd of witches gathered around. The magic council call out to the crowd, asking if no one will claim this familiar? And unfortunately it's so quiet, you can hear pen drop, but The cat king expected this, he knew there was no one who would step forward and offer to bind themselves to him. He closes his eyes and is preparing himself to meet his end when a familiar voice calls out.

"I claim him!"

The cat king's golden eyes open in shock to reveal the crowd parted and there standing awkward and uncomfortable and maybe a little out of breath because he just barely made it in time. Is Edwin Payne.

That's just a jist of it :') I have lots of ideas but nothing ever really comes of them.

I'm not really the best writer and thinking about others reading something I wrote fills me with so much anxiety, but maybe one day.....

I headcanon Danny from dbd being a really good runner because he has to be fast to catch his victims. I was wondering if you could do Danny with a daughter reader who is an Paralympian in the marathon and she had just won her first gold? She had qualified for the Olympic trials but got in a severe accident where she lost her leg and years later she made a huge comeback. If you don’t wanna do it that’s fine. A/n: Sorry this took so long to post! Also, I made it where she didn't lose her leg but instead just had it get severely injured, so I hope that's okay with you and if not, I can fix it. Warnings: Platonic Father/Daughter Relationship, Fluff-ish, swearing, you're between the age 14-16, Paralympian, I might not be 100% correct on how Paralympic games work since I'm not familiar with partaking in Paralympic games.

Danny was always a fast runner. Not even from having to chase survivors, but ever since he was a kid.

When you were born, Danny was unsure how he was going to provide for you. He never really planned on being a dad but dammit he was going to try!

When you started to turn from an infant, to a toddler, to a kid. He started noticing certain traits you got from him. The biggest one that caught his eye was how quick you were. When you were still in diapers, you had him running a marathon around the house just to change you. He accidentally ran into the dining table once when trying to change you.

On your 10th birthday, you had a minor accident. On one of the occasions of you and your dad playing tag, you tripped down the stairs and caused your knee to dislocate. Danny about had a heart attack.

Danny was able to find information on dislocating your knee. It would take about six weeks to heal on your own, even then you could still endure severe knee pain, unable to straighten the knee, and a popping sensation. As the weeks turned into months, your knee never fully healed. It never straightened out, but the pain did subside, and you could put some pressure on it when your father was standing beside you.

When you turned 14, you asked your father if you could join the Paralympic games. At first, you got an immediate "No" but after some more convincing, he agreed. On the condition that if you felt any pain whatsoever, no more partaking in compations.

When you entered a sprint competition, you couldn't participate while using a crutch. You were fitted into a knee brace instead to help support your knee. While everyone was prepping for the race, you scanned around the stadium, spotting your father quite quickly as he was hooping and hollering your name like a cheerleader. He wasn't wearing his Ghostface attire like you usually saw him in. Instead, he was wearing jeans and a simple grey t-shirt.

(Time skip after you win the race)

You were panting heavily as you slowly down your pace after crossing the finish line. Your hands resting on your knees as your legs shook violently. Other participants patted you on the shoulder and back as they walked by as a small gesture of congratulations to you winning. All of a sudden you felt arms wrap around you and lift you high into the air. A yelp in surprise escapes you.

"I'm so proud of you (nickname)!!! You did amazing sweetie!!"

Danny was practically in tears as he jumped around with you in his arms. Both of you laughing together before he set you back down gently. He kneeled down to your level and brought you into a tight hug, whispering into your ear, "You're gonna go far kid...."

Okay well, now that we have the licensed characters for the next while revealed, lets see what else we can look forward to in the next bit of DBD -Made for This is finally getting reworked to be far less gamebreaking than it previously was -Slipknot and Iron Maiden outfits coming early 2024 -Rainbow Six Siege outfits coming this month -Winter Holiday event, and a bunch of cosmetics along with it -Twins rework is supposedly happening early 2024 -New gamemode hopefully coming sometime in 2024 -perk randomizer may come without tome requirement -Devs have said "never say never" to FNAF as an inclusion -Blight addons are supposed to get a redesign (not priority) -Hillybilly addons are supposed to get a redesign (not priority) -Pyramid Head addons are supposed to get a redesign (not priority) -Freddy Krueger rework is intended (not priority) -Daily challenges and rewards are gonna be reworked to be more similar to DBD Mobile (which offers bloodpoints and iri shards as rewards, and multiple challenges every day) -some DBD Mobile cosmetics are coming to the game soon(ish) -New survivor items soon(ish)
