To avoid bullying, your parents make you look like a boy at your new prestigious school. When people start gossiping about you, Scaramouche decides to step in, making you immediately fall in love with him.

Name: Due to bullying, her parents sent her to another school and dressed her up as a boy. This also meant leaving her only friend she knew.

Ayaka: Met [Name] when she was showing her the school. Introduced [Name] to Kokomi! Ayaka often helps [Name] with her work.

Hu Tao: [Name's] forever friend. She met Hu Tao in literacy class and they quickly became great friends! Hu Tao is [Name's] #1 defender and will most likely pounce on Scaramouche whenever he's near her.

Kokomi: The quiet one of the group but also the most wise. Often tries to avoid [Name] from getting herself into trouble but it never works.

Lord help me I'm stepping back into my Aran phase 🙏 right now I'm thinking about an AU where my s/i is a lounge singer in the 1920s-30s that Aran is infatuated with. Only problem is that he doesn't have a penny to his name, so he does the logical thing and joins an underground bareknuckle boxing ring to make some extra cash, where he quickly becomes a well known and feared contender

I haven't done too much with the AU yet story-wise but I'm hoping to flesh it out more soon!

I have successfully boiled my problem with most of the izzy reads that i hate down to a sentence:

he's not sexually repressed, he's emotionally repressed.

You put your phone down as you made your way to the kitchen. You knew why you were called down and it hurt.

Your parents were about to announce the school you would be attending. Of course, you weren't happy about anything related to school. You were bullied.

You faced your parents, a smile plastered on your face. Your mother was the first to speak, “Teyvat High!” She announced.

You paused. Teyvat high was for rich and talented kids. Why would you go there?! Your father patted your head, “With your art skills, they made arrangements for you to attend.” He spoke, proud.

You wanted to cry then and there. Rich kids would definitely think you're weird and the smart ones would question why you were even here.

Your mother suddenly frowned, “Remember what you said about wanting to pretend to be a boy? We think you should do that too.”

You stared at her. You mentioned to your parents that boys were tough and if you looked like one, no one would hurt you.

Maybe this wasn't so bad. Maybe you'd actually give the prestigious school a chance.

Two weeks later, and a lot of chats with Kazuha, you got the male uniform and cut your hair off. Your hair was long and pretty, something you were proud of.

You couldn't help but stare at yourself in the mirror. Not with an ego, though. Instead it was a shame.

You were pretending to be someone you're not, all because you're desperate about bullying. It hurt knowing that this would change everything.

Finally, the final week came. You waved goodbye to your parents and boarded the bus. The first thing you noticed was the girls staring at you.

Notes: If you didn't notice at the end, [Name] looks pretty hot as a boy and that's why they're sad about “pretending to be someone they're not”. Also, this is REALLY rushed so I apologize for that.

Continuing with Dungeon Meshi (Manga) and I have to say I'm really charmed by it. The creator really seems to love her characters and the attention to detail from the cooking to the Dungeon geography is wonderful.

I also love how the characters interact with each other. The main group really feels like they care for each other and are so fun to see.

I understand ships are what makes Fandom spin, but no one mentioned how sweet the interactions with Marcille and Senshi can be or how Laios and Chilchuck are always looking out for each other.

Despite everything, they still trust each other and are willing to try anything to make sure all of them are safe. Or how Falin is the glue and the light that connected them all together.

#I have also not reached the future chapters but I also love the ambiguous thing that Marcille and Laios have going on #the Farcille ship is really sweet and romantic and honestly: the idea of someone loving you so much they perform forbidden magic #is absolutely emotional and perfect #but also the inner conflict that Laimar has about each other is such good angst potential too #How Laios isn't sure if what he feels is attraction or admiration???? I am an angst girlie with bad endings #Okay I am done ahsjdkkd #spoilers #??? I guess but it's in the tags #mint talks

I’ve noticed that there’s a certain type of “leftist” who has, like, zero empathy for terrorist victims as long as they belong to the “oppressor” side. One time I saw someone with a Sayaka icon (she would not fucking say that) talking about how the victims of 9/11 were all wealthy Americans and so we shouldn’t feel sorry for them or their families. And now I’m seeing certain people celebrate Israeli women and children getting raped and murdered by Hamas.

Obviously there’s a ton of nuance and discussion to be had when it comes to talking about why these attacks occur in the first place, and many victims that don’t get talked about beforehand, but guys… can we please not celebrate civilians being raped and murdered??? I don’t fuck with tankies, and this is some tankie shit.
