Sometimes I think I am normal about the mighty nein but then I preorder the beau origins comic book and start crying just looking at the cover and thinking about what it will contain

Y'know it was REALLY goddamn evil and nefarious that the oil fields gave my mom (a single mom working 3 jobs to raise 2 kids) a single $5,000 check in exchange for her signing a nondisclosure to never complain about them.
Of course we fucking took the money. Even with her working 1 full-time job and 2 part-time jobs, she barely made over $1,000 a month. Of course she took the money. We though about moving but we still couldn't afford it. She was so frugal with it, though. It did give us a sliver of financial security for years.
But goddamn. $5,000 is table scraps to them, and they bought her silence with it because she couldn't refuse the chance to slightly lessen the weight of poverty on her family.

I was rewatching the bethcest episode with @richiemorty and I mentioned how some of space beth’s dialogue comes off so demeaning to home beth, like she looks down on her for (possibly) choosing to stay (“I don’t get it, you’re the house wife I’m the space lady but you’re the one who chewed me up and spit me out” & a lot of the dialogue from the s4 finale/s6 premiere as well) and they hit me with pointing out that the two beths are kind of like the two sides of feminism to a certain degree, with one saying being anything close to a house wife is demeaning and the other side saying doing whatever you want to as your choice as a woman is fine

Hmmm, it might be a bit tricky to make that work with the school uniform, seeing as you have only four limbs. But otherwise, I don’t see why not!
Oh! Hey, maybe it can work!
Luz is a magical girl now, and her superpower is studying!
I WAS RIGHT
OF COURSE IT WAS EDA, AND OF COURSE SHE WANTED TO STUDY EVERY TRACK
This means... Luz has succeeded where Eda couldn’t. Clearly, Eda did study all types of magic, but since she’s the one who built that secret shortcut hideout, she must have been the first student to study other tracks in secret. But Luz has managed to get students studying multiple tracks made official.
(Without her, the troublemaker trio would never have stepped in and proven themselves. Without her, Principal Bump would have kicked them out of school once he found out what they were doing.)
I’m feeling a bit emotional about all this.

i want to put it out into the world that I think shoko could be the traitor. I don't know if i trust gege to write her like that, but she could be.
all the motives are there - being the one left behind, we have no idea of her rank but it's not that she can't fight (reverse curse is one of the things that can kill a curse) but she's not allowed because she's too valuable. There's a good chance she has no choice in who she heals, but that she's been too late anyways more than once. She runs the morgue and even gojo wouldn't be so stupid sentimental as to just leave getou's body lying out, so who else has access to it/know how it was disposed of? She's powerful and sits in on the counsels, but isn't allowed to/chooses not to participate, she's another powerful woman in the patriarchal jujutsu world...
if she is the traitor, i'm just saying she has reasons, and she might agree with getou's desire to eradicate all curses, since she's the one who always sees the aftermath, more than most
