You eyed your half eaten salmon fillet on the plate in front of you, zoned out as one of the higher ups for Capa droned on about this years successes.
It was a "team" dinner; the word team taken very lightly considering anyone outside of the essential circle of people who aided in Nick Capa's success were nothing more than minions that silently kept the company running behind the scenes.
You were one of those minions, a graphic designer that stared at a computer for eight hours back at headquarters. But, every six months Capa would set up a dinner night at some fancy restaurant and pretend like the company was one big happy family. It wasn't. You hated working for them, but they paid good.
Last year you were about to walk right out of your job but you just had to meet one of the mechanics, Jack Salter.
He was charming, sarcastic, and hated his job as much as you did. The two of you bonded over venting about woes in the workplace. What started out as casually stopping to chat here and there during the work day, turned into meeting for dinner at a pub, going to see movies together, and before you knew it, the two of you were dating.
Anyone at Capa could care less that two employees were dating, they just wanted to ensure both of you still did your jobs. Even though the two of you were good employees for a company that didn't deserve either worker, Jack swore the moment a better opportunity would arise, he'd take it to get the two of you away from Capa.
That moment hadn't arrived yet. And now the two of you sat side by side pretending to be interested at a company dinner meeting.
Jack rested his chin on his hand as the chief engineer talked. His brow would knit every so often, the corners of his mouth drooping slightly as he listened. You knew these facial expressions were a result of Jack's inner driver desperately wanting to make some sort of remark on what was being said. But he knew better and kept his mouth shut.
Your eyes lingered on your boyfriend as he took a sip of his beer. There was something about him tonight that just had you enamored more than usual. Maybe it was the suit he wore? His tie was slightly loosened and the very top button of his dress shirt undone. Or was it the way his hair was styled and the appearance of his not so groomed facial hair? The more you thought about it, the more you realized it was all of the above. He just looked that good.
By the time you came to your conclusion, Jack was eyeing you suspiciously. He raised his right eyebrow slightly as a small, curious, smile grew on his lips.
"Care to share what you are thinking?"
You blushed slightly at the realization you had been caught staring. "Oh nothing." you dismissed, turning your attention back to the plate in front of you.
You heard Jack grunt beside you, he sounded a little disappointed that you didn't share what you had been staring at him for.
A few minutes passed, your thoughts began to wander again, this time you thought of an idea. Reaching slowly across, you rested your right hand on Jack's inner thigh. He instantly tensed, the location of your hand caused him to clench his jaw and turn slightly to look at you.
"Y/N..." he mumbled, keeping this situation as discreet as he could.
A small, subtle, smile danced across your lips when he said your name. You kept your hand in place for a minute, letting him think that's all you had planned on doing. It certainly wasn't.
Jack's leg jerked upwards, smacking the underside of the table when your hand moved to his crotch. The sound of his knee colliding with the table caused everyone at the table to stare.
Jack looked mortified, his cheeks turning a bright red color, you on the other hand, did your best to stifle a laugh.
"Sorry." Jack cleared his throat, a rush of awkwardness temporarily paralyzing him.
The other people at the table shot both of you disapproving looks before turning their attention to the chief engineer who continued his speech. Now with zero attention on the two of you, Jack leaned slightly towards you.
"You're gonna pay for that."
His comment made you smile. "Fine by me, bet you can't make it through this dinner." you countered.
The two of you eyed each other before Jack moved to his upright position. You moved your hand against his crotch, he tensed again, jaw clenching tighter then it had the first time you placed your hand on his leg.
This time he retaliated. You felt his large hand slide up under your tight, maroon colored dress, and squeeze the inside of your thigh.
You let out a long sigh, keeping it quiet enough to avoid unwanted attention, but Jack heard it. The corner of his mouth raised slightly into a smirk.
Another pause between the two of you ensued, both wondering who would make the next move. You did, of course. Gripping his now hardening bulge.
Jack pulled his lips inward and cleared his throat, retaliating with moving his hand up farther, letting his middle finger brush against the soft fabric of your panties. Your breath hitched at the feeling of his touch. You could feel a growing heat between your legs that now had you on edge.
The both of you were wound like springs, ready to burst at any moment. The anticipation of the next move caused your skin to erupt in goosebumps. Instead, Jack rose from his seat, tossing his napkin onto the table.
"We have to get going, thanks for inviting us." He said quickly, backing up so you were able to exit your seat as well.
Surprised by his sudden need to leave the dinner table, you hurried out of your seat, waving to the people that eyed the two of you. Your cheeks were flushed, not from embarrassment, but rather the heat of arousal that had pretty much consumed your every thought at this point.
Jack gripped your hand firmly and lead the two of you out of the restaurant, weaving between tables till you reached the cool London evening air.
"Okay now what?" you asked, looking to your boyfriend as he walked like a man on a mission to the parked black Mercedes, digging the key fob out of his pocket.
"You pay for your actions." he answered, his voice was thicker than it was back in the restaurant. His tone was laced with desire and that only made your core throb even more.
The car was parked towards the middle of the lot that sat across from the restaurant. Since it was later in the evening, some time after eight, there were significantly less cars parked in the lot then there was upon arriving for the dinner an hour and a half ago.
With a quick click of the key fob, Jack unlocked the car and opened the passenger door for you. You let go of his large hand and sat down in the car, watching him shut the door and quickly make his way to the driver side. Being the tall man he was, Jack had to practically fold in half to lower himself inside the vehicle, a minor struggle you always found amusing to watch.
"You really think we are gonna make it all the way home?" you asked, eyes shifting to the floor below you so you could place your purse between your feet.
In the few seconds you had looked away, Jack reached over, hoisting you onto his lap in one quick motion. The suddenness of the action caused you to gasp and rest your hands on his chest as you straddled his lap. The two of you locked eyes. A shiver ran down your spine when you saw how glossed over and dark his eyes were, nothing but lust and want could be seen etched over his face.
"Fuck.." you mumbled, crashing your lips onto his.
The kiss was sloppy, rushed, heated. You hummed against his lips as his hands slid down, gripping your ass with both hands. In response, you used both of your hands to pull his tie loose and unbuttoned his white dress shirt halfway. Once achieved, you were quick to place your hands on his bare chest. You could feel his heart racing already, the man was a live wire about to short circuit at any moment from the amount of arousal he had been holding back.
The following moments whizzed by, nothing but a whirlwind of pleasure and want. Jack had pulled the lever on the side of the driver's seat, causing the back to fall all the way down, allowing him to lay back completely. As your tongues danced, Jack let go of your ass briefly to undo his pants and belt. When he seemed to struggle with the process, you temporarily pulled away from the kiss and helped move the fabric out of the way, his cock emerging from his boxers like a spring.
Large hands moved back to your waist, one hand hooking your panties and pulled them to the side, the other holding you steady as you felt Jack rub his hardened member against your slick core.
You let out a light moan. "Jack...c'mon don't tease." you whined.
Jack smirked. "I told you you'd have to pay for teasing me earlier."
"As if you can hold off long enough to actually tease me." you countered.
"True," Jack kissed you again. "I'm too impatient."
Before you could even formulate a response, you felt his cock fill you completely. A sharp gasp escaped your lips, chased by a satisfied moan.
Your walls clamped against him, forming around his thickness as he began to thrust in and out.
"Goddamn you feel so good..." Jack breathed, biting back his lower lip as he raised his hips slightly, allowing him to angle his thrusting, knowing right were your most sensitive spots were.
"Jack," you moaned, feeling that tight coil deep within you start to build already. "--right there."
The car rocked to the movement of his thrusts, windows became blurry with condensation, and a symphony of moans could be heard, only muffled by the closed Mercedes doors. You could care less if anyone within the vicinity could hear the two of you, your mind was far away on a pleasure high you couldn't even put into words.
The building of your climax caused you to whine and squirm under Jack's strong hold. He could tell you were reaching breaking point and he had every intention of getting you to a climax that would leave you breathless.
His thrusts became quicker, deeper, harder. You cried out in pleasure, tilting your head towards the ceiling of the car, nearly scraping the top of your head on it as every nerve in your body came alive.
Your walls fluttered around him as you released, your fists gripping his undone dress shirt. For a moment you thought you were seeing stars, who knows, maybe you did, the release was that extraordinary.
Jack groaned, his release coming only moments after yours as he pumped himself into you, slowing down his movement after a few more weak thrusts.
The two of you lay on the driver's seat, panting heavily. Your head resting on his chest, listening to his heartbeat. Jack wrapped his strong arms around your waist, the two of you enjoying a wordless embrace for a few minutes as you came down from cloud nine and back to reality.
"Holy shit." Jack huffed, reaching one hand up to wipe some sweat from his brow.
"Holy shit is right." you agreed, a tired but happy smile on your face. "I guess this was good enough payback."
Jack chuckled, bringing the seat back to an upright position. He lazily kissed your lips a couple times before setting you back into the passenger seat. "Yeah, I think that'll do." he agreed, pulling his pants back up and starting the car.

URGENT! Family with sick infant and grandmother needs help!
I know there are many gofundme posts out there right now. I humbly ask for any kind of donation, any amount, for the family friends of a colleague, Nizar.
On October 18, the Nizar's home was bombed. "Screams came from every direction. Ambulance sirens began to approach our house, and paramedics arrived. We hadn't realized that our house had collapsed on us due to the destruction of the neighboring house. We all woke up to the screams that our beloved granddaughter had died, along with her younger sister and their mother, who was seven months pregnant."
There is an infant suffering from a rare disease causing liver hemorrhage, and a diabetic grandmother.
Their full story is under the cut.
Please please donate, and if you cannot please reblog and send to friends.
Hi this is Nizar,
I am from Gaza. I studied computer science I work as software engineer
I loved every single detail about my work, the tiniest details with my family and all the moments we had in this beloved city. All this fate has changed with everything going on in Gaza. The latest life-changing moment was in October.
On the evening of October 18th, the family gathered for dinner, sharing stories about our displacement from our home in North Gaza to a house in Rafah. Everyone was pondering what we would do the following morning when we woke up safe. However, we did not wake up in the morning; instead, we were awakened in the middle of the night by the rubble surrounding us. Screams came from every direction. Ambulance sirens began to approach our house, and paramedics arrived. We hadn't realized that our house had collapsed on us due to the destruction of the neighboring house. We all woke up to the screams that our beloved granddaughter had died, along with her younger sister and their mother, who was seven months pregnant. The house sheltered the grandfather, his wife, their 8 children, and their 14 grandchildren.
We emerged from the rubble, witnessing a tragic scene that was not familiar to this family, which had dreamt of a brighter future. The reality was hard to believe. It wasn't just the bitterness of separation we experienced but also other difficulties. One of the sisters, who was married, had given birth to Aya, who was diagnosed as a โ€œCollodion babyโ€ at birth. Aya, only four days old, was among those injured and suffered from a rare disease causing liver hemorrhage. She continues to suffer due to the lack of medical facilities needed to confront the challenges posed by this rare disease, which requires significant medical support and medication currently unavailable.
Adding to our worries about Aya, my grandma is also suffering from chronic diseases both diabetes and hypertension which also need medication.
This is just a fraction of our suffering. We lost not only safety but also our homes, living in displacement and famine. The family's breadwinners, who worked in computer engineering, lost their jobs, and the children lost their right to education. My sister Aya had only completed two years of university and now face losing their future educational opportunities.
Will this be the end of the hardships we face? Or are there compassionate hearts willing to help my family live safely?
We as a family decided to create this fundraising to try the last glimpse of hope to have a brighter future for our kids where they can live safely, have education and have any medication needed.
I am aiming to evacuate my family from Gaza to Egypt. The barrier to leaving is the coordination fee, amounting to $5,000 per adult and $2,500 for children which would cost roughly for all of us $62,500
Every donation will benefit a fundraising campaign that contributes to the coordination fees for the family's departure from Gaza to Egypt and the start of a new life. Your generosity, no matter its size, will make a tangible difference in the life of this grieving family."

From Dreams to Displacement: A Family's Gaza War Journey
Message from the creator:
Weโ€™re a family of five trying to survive the horrors of the Gaza war and hoping to find a new life.
My name is Nagham and Iโ€™m an architect. My sister Duaa, works in motion graphics and Reem is an UI/UX designer. My brother Ahmad is set to graduate as a computer engineer this year; and our remarkable mother bravely leads us since our father's passing eleven years ago. Despite being blind since childhood, he was the guiding light of our family.
Less than a year ago, we finally moved into our new home, a sanctuary we built with love for years.
But our world turned upside down on October 7th, the war forced us to flee our home, surrounded by terrifying sounds of bombs. Since then, we've been displaced over seven times, desperately seeking lost safety. From Gaza city to Bureij camp, then Rafah, a city with a million displaced people.
Here, in a small apartment with five other families, we endure harsh conditionsโ€”no clean water, adequate food, gas, electricity, internet, or privacy; sharing one bathroom and a small kitchen.
Adding to our challenges is my brother Ahmad, who suffers from brittle bone disease and has endured โ€countless fractures throughout his entire life.
My mother has been struggling with him since he was a child, always worried about his well-being. Each time we escape from nearby explosions, he becomes our primary concern because we know he canโ€™t flee as easily.
Our greatest fear is being forcibly displaced from Rafah on foot because it would be incredibly difficult for him.
In the blink of an eye, our dream home, where we had barely begun to create memories, was reduced to rubble, burying our hopes and cherished belongings.
With debts still unpaid, and without a place to call home, even after the war. To compound our struggles, the loss of my online job, along with my sisters, leaving us struggling in Rafah without income, where prices are soaring and conditions are worsening.
After enduring over 180 days of relentless war, during the holy month of Ramadan, the devastating loss of my friend and her family fills me with sorrow and fear.
This tragedy compels me to share our story, reminding the world that we are not numbers.
In this campaign, we seek safety from the ongoing war, hoping to fulfill our dreams and find new opportunities. However, we struggle to afford the high travel costs due to the war, to cross the borders.
We humbly ask for your support to survive, build a better future, and start afresh.
Thank you for caring and taking the time to read our story. โ€
UPDATE:
215 days displaced
Today, I reach out to you with a heavy heart to share the struggles my family is facing as we confront one of the toughest moments in our lives. The devastating war that swept through Gaza City has left behind immense destruction and indescribable pain. We have spent 215 days displaced, moving from place to place in Gaza. For the past four months, Rafah has been our refuge. However, just three days ago, we were forced to flee in fear as Rafah became a battleground. Since then, the skies of Rafah have not ceased their echoes of explosions. Evacuation also included the area of the border crossing and the goods crossing, halting the entry of food and aid. Even areas once deemed safe are now too dangerous to stay. With over a million displaced people, we are stuck in Rafah, with nowhere to go and no suitable place to call home.
I seek your support to raise the remaining funds for our exit from Gaza. Egypt remains our only hope, and we pray you can help make it a reality.
Thank you for your generous donations, shares, and kind words; they mean the world to us.

Preview for the sequel to my first Coinverse Benthomorro oneshot, Fishing for Trouble. This one is titled Another Fish in the Sea.
Cyrus was working with Merlopian engineers to set up a way for the two worlds to communicate with each other, and while Morro couldn't exactly help build it, he had been hovering around the workspace, running miscellaneous errands for his father and the others. One afternoon, Cyrus rolls back from the computer terminal and announces to the room: "Sent a test message!" One of the eel Merlopians nods at him. Glutinous, Morro recallsโ€“not that he could easily forget. Glutinous and Cyrus immediately bonded over their shared disability and use of mobility aids, and had only become better friends after working together. "Excellent!" he says brightly. "It will work. What was it you said? Everything you build works!" Cyrus laughs. "Well, sometimes it doesn't work quite the way I expect. We'll have to wait." Morro nods, though neither of them were talking to him. "How long do you think?" he says. Glutinous looks at him with a grin. "Still waiting to hear from the prince?" His face flushes. "No," he snaps, to the obvious mirth of the Merlopians. Even Cyrus lets out a short chuckle. "Give it, oh, thirty seconds to arrive," he says. "A minute or two to respond, and then thirty seconds back. I'm sure he'll be delighted to hear from you!" Morro was about to storm out of the room, but the screen lit up. "Ah!" Cyrus says, and he and Glutinous rush to the computer. "A response! It works!" Humans and Merlopians alike cheer and patted each other on the back. Morro sighs. It would be way too embarrassing to ask to talk to Benthomaar now. He'd have to wait a day or two.

Architectural Drafting is Key for Construction Drawings & As built Drawings
Tumblr media
In the dynamic realm of construction, precision and clarity are of paramount importance. Behind every structurally sound and aesthetically pleasing building lies a meticulously crafted blueprint. Architectural drafting serves as the bedrock upon which these blueprints, construction drawings, and as built drawings are created. With the advent of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) services and Building Information Modeling (BIM) services, architectural drafting has undergone a transformative evolution, revolutionizing the construction industry.
The Essence of Architectural Drafting:
Architectural drafting is the process of creating detailed technical drawings that serve as the visual roadmap for constructing a building. These drawings encompass a wide range of information, including dimensions, materials, layout plans, elevations, sections, and intricate details. In essence, architectural drafting is the language through which architects, engineers, and contractors communicate their vision and collaborate to bring structures to life.
Precision and Clarity:
The success of any construction project hinges on accuracy. Construction drawings derived from architectural drafting must be precise down to the last millimeter, leaving no room for ambiguity. A misplaced dimension or an unclear annotation could lead to costly errors during construction, compromising both safety and budget. Architectural drafting ensures that every stakeholder, from architects to construction workers, shares a common understanding of the project's intricacies.
The Evolution of CAD Services:
The introduction of CADservices revolutionized architectural drafting. Traditional manual drafting was time-consuming and prone to errors. CAD software streamlined the drafting process, enabling professionals to create, edit, and replicate drawings with unprecedented efficiency. Dimensions could be automatically updated, and intricate designs could be visualized in 3D, providing a more immersive understanding of the project.
CAD services not only expedited drafting but also enhanced collaboration. Professionals from different disciplines could work on the same digital platform, ensuring seamless integration of architectural, structural, and mechanical designs. This level of coordination minimizes conflicts and optimizes the construction process.
BIM Services: A Paradigm Shift:
While CAD services brought efficiency to drafting, Building Information Modeling (BIM) services marked a paradigm shift in how construction projects are conceptualized, designed, and executed. BIM extends beyond mere 3D modeling; it involves the creation of a comprehensive digital representation of a building's physical and functional characteristics.
BIM-enabled architectural drafting transcends static drawings. It encapsulates information about materials, costs, scheduling, and even environmental impact. This holistic approach allows stakeholders to visualize the building's entire lifecycle, from initial design to construction, operation, and maintenance.
One of the key benefits of BIM services is its impact on as built drawings. As built drawings represent the final state of a building, including any modifications or deviations from the original plan that occurred during construction. With BIM, as built drawings are not mere post-construction documentation; they are a dynamic record that captures real-time changes and forms a valuable resource for future renovations or repairs.
The Symbiotic Relationship: Architectural Drafting, CAD, and BIM:
Architectural drafting, CAD services, and BIM services form a symbiotic relationship that empowers the construction industry. CAD services provide the agility and accuracy required for efficient drafting, allowing professionals to create intricate designs with ease. BIM services elevate this process by introducing collaboration and information-sharing, resulting in a digital twin of the physical building.
The marriage of CAD and BIM ensures that as built drawings are accurate reflections of the constructed building. Deviations from the original plan can be promptly updated in the digital model, maintaining the accuracy of the as-built documentation. This synergy minimizes the gap between the design intent and the final product, offering architects, contractors, and building owners a comprehensive overview of the structure.
Tumblr media
In the ever-evolving landscape of construction, architectural drafting remains the linchpin of accurate construction drawings and as-built documentation. The integration of CAD services and BIM services has transformed this once manual process into a dynamic, collaborative, and technology-driven endeavor. The precision offered by architectural drafting, bolstered by CAD's efficiency and BIM's comprehensive approach, ensures that construction projects are executed with meticulous accuracy. As we look to the future, the continued evolution of architectural drafting alongside advancing technologies promises even greater strides in the construction industry, solidifying its foundation on a bedrock of precision and clarity.

TMNT Code 59
My original TMNT story.
I wanted to share the bios for the turtles real quick. Maybe next time, Iโ€™ll share bios for their allies.
Bios under the cut.
Leonardo is the 16-year-old oldest son and pupil of Splinter, as well as the older twin brother of Raphael. Despite his discipline in martial arts (his frequent clumsiness notwithstanding), he has a rebellious streak and longs to see the world and all it has to offer. Optimistic, stubborn, and hopeful, he wants to see the best in everybody, which worries both Splinter and his brothers. Despite these flaws, he still wants to be a good leader to his brothers, but struggles with balancing all their wants and needs. His biggest fear is letting them down, or even worse, losing them because of his own shortsightedness โ€ฆ and snakes. To his familyโ€™s everlasting annoyance, Leo is prone to sharing the corniest one-liners he can come up with, and he and Raphael like to compete in who can make the worst puns (unfortunately for Leo, Raph is winning). In his downtime, he enjoys sci-fi and samurai movies, gardening, reading, writing, calligraphy, and playing video games (Raphael wonโ€™t beat his high score if he can help it).
Raphael is the 16-year-old second son and pupil of Splinter, as well as the younger twin brother of Leonardo. Raphael has has a very bad temper. He often acts on his negative emotions before he has the chance to think. To his credit, however, Raphael has a strong moral compass, knowing exactly what he believes is right and wrong. Due to this, Raphael often plays the โ€œstraight manโ€ in the team, calling out his brothers for their downfalls. Raphael is also very protective of those close to him, and even learned first aid to better look after them. Due to all this, Splinter believes that Raphael has the ability to take up the role of leader if something should happen to Leonardo. Out of all his brothers, Raphael is the least interested in human culture and has grown comfortable being a mutant turtle. He strongly believes that thereโ€™s nothing wrong with being different, and as a result has a soft spot for the outcasts of New York City, humans and mutants alike. Though he likes looking after others, Raphโ€™s biggest fear is being alone โ€ฆ and bugs. Raphael is very sarcastic and enjoys cracking jokes every now and then, so much so that he and Leo have a โ€œpun contestโ€. Raph is winning. In his downtime, Raphael enjoys working on vehicles, painting, boxing, playing video games, and spending time with his pet alien tortoise, Chompy.
Donatello is the 15-year-old third son and pupil of Splinter. Don knows heโ€™s smart. Practically an expert in engineering and computer science (and he dabbles in other sciences too!), Donatello is the one to thank for the turtlesโ€™ neat gadgets. Leave it to Donnie to be prepared for every possible roadblock. With all his knowledge, itโ€™s left Donnie a bit โ€ฆ shall we say, overconfident. He loves to show off his work, and refuses to see any shortcomings as true failure. He does wish his brothers would act more interested, however. When heโ€™s not talking about science though, Donatello is very insecure. Unlike his brothers, he is painfully discontented with his mutanthood, wanting so strongly to be a human. Despite his generally kind and polite behavior, he has a slight disdain for other mutants, and wants to create a retromutagen. Now if only he could find actual fresh mutagen to study it โ€ฆ Deep down, Donatello wants to feel loved and accepted, and his greatest fear is to be shunned (or worse) for what he is. In his downtime, Donatello enjoys designing new inventions, listening to old musicals, perfecting his latte art (he swears heโ€™s improving), playing video games, and watching bad reality TV with his best friend, April.
Michelangelo is the 14-year-old youngest son and pupil of Splinter. Everyoneโ€™s go-to traits for defining Mikeyโ€™s personality are fun-loving, friendly, and mischievous. Though perhaps the most skilled of his brothers, Mikey has a bad habit of avoiding his training, as heโ€™d much rather be out having fun or preparing a prank for his unsuspecting brothers. Despite his lack of discipline, Mikey has a big heart and collects friendships like he collects comic books. All his brothers are very protective of him, and he knows how to take advantage of it. Mikey has a strong dislike for being pushed aside, and often takes it upon himself to handle missions without his brothers to prove heโ€™s just as capable as them. This can put him in all sorts of trouble. Though on the bright side, this has also landed him several chances to make new friends. Mikeyโ€™s biggest dream is to become a comic book artist, a dream he gained after finding Raphaelโ€™s stash of artwork for the first time. Michelangeloโ€™s biggest fear is his loved ones turning against him. In his downtime, he enjoys skateboarding, sketching, reading comic books, playing video games, and cooking (especially pizza!).

This is what i think happened after the whole aftermath of Memento mori (S01E04). Hope you guys like it. Btw, this is like a pure smut... so i suggest don't read it unless you're comfortable with it.
Pairing: La'an/Spock
La'an paced her quarters relentlessly. The steady sound of Enterprise's engines usually calmed her down, but tonight it only aided in making the persisting itch under her skin flare up even more. The ship was vibrating under her feet, though not as smoothly as only hours earlier before it took damage from the Gorn and the incredible gravitational pull of the singularity.
She froze for a second as the ship groaned, resisting the vacuum of space as it limped through the web of spacetime towards the nearest starbase. An image of her brother flashed before her eyes and she clutched at her chest as moisture welled up in her eyes.
La'an, unfortunately, was all out of tears.
The thought of events that happended few hours ago brought up an image of Enterprise's chief science officer and an uncomfortable feeling under her skin grew before she squashed it like a bug. She shouldn't be thinking about that. With a day they've all had, she should've been in bed and on her way to la-la land hours ago. If only there wasn't a jolt in her brain every time she closed her eyes and tried to relax. She wondered for a moment if the mind meld she and Spock shared today had something to do with it, and despite her best efforts, the thought whether or not Spock was facing the same difficulties, popped up. She shook her head.
Spock was Vulcan, years of practicing control would prevent him from experiencing, the undoubtedly illogical, train of thoughts she was riding on.
She was about to climb into bed, for what was surely to be another unsuccessful attempt at falling asleep, as the computer signalized someone was at her door. La'an frowned, her eyes landing on a digital clock on her bedise, the 02:17 glaring brightly at her. She strutted towards the door, straightening her black starfleet issue sleeping shirt out of habbit. She was about to tie her long, now considerably more out of order, hair before deciding that whoever was at her door at middle of the night could deal with her not so professional look.
She opened the door, fully expecting to see some Ensign on gamma shift filing their report and getting the facefull of wide torso clad in an unusually bright science blue shirt instead. La'an gulped.
"Lieutenant Spock." She nodded in greeting, her throat suddenly dry.
Spock stood before her, not a hair out of place and still dressed in his uniform with his hands firmly behind his back. La'an watched, her gaze almost unwillingly dropping to his shoulders, as the muscles flexed when he inhaled and exhaled and she suddenly had the urge to put her tongue to them and find out how he tasted.
She almost recoiled in fright. 'Where did that come from?'
Absorbed well into her own thoughts, the train of unusual thoughts absolutely derailing, La'an failed to recognize that she wasn't alone and that Spock has been standing in front of her quarters, worry creeping up onto his face with every passing second as he gazed at La'an, suddenly and unexplainably frozen.
"La'an!" The sudden exclamation of her name jerked her out of her stupor. With a dose or mortification, she realized she has been standing like an idiot, frozen, while Spock tried to call her. She shook her head and cleared her throat.
"My apologizes Mr. Spock. What can I do for you?"
Spock shifted on his feel, almost uncomfortably. "I apologize lieutenant. I am aware that it is late but I found myself aware that I had not checked on you after what has transpired today. I also find myself..." he paused for a momen, searching for an appropriate word, "unable to enter REM phase."
Translation: "I'm sorry I'm disturbing you at the ungodly hour, but I just remembered I didn't aks you if you're alright and I can't fall asleep."
La'an shrugged and moved one step behind, inviting him in. Spock stepped into her room and an automatic doors closed behind him, the light from the hallway suddenly cut off. Feeling awakward in the dark, La'an maneuvered herself towards her bed, creating a bit of distance between the two of them.
"Computer, lights at 20 percent."
The sudden change in illumination caused her to squint slightly, her eyes adjusting to the sudden brightness. She blinked rapidly couple of times.
"I assure you, I am fine Lieutenant." She stopped at the foot of her bed, her hands clasped behind her back, her stand almost mimicking his.
"Spock is acceptable. We are off duty." His eyes were warm and if she looked close enough, La'an could see specks of yellow swimming in his irises.
She nodded, feeling slightly awkward, and averted her eyes. "Then I insist you call me La'an as well. It's only fair."
He nodded, his piercing eyes never leaving her form that strived to shrink away from him. A rather strange reaction from an otherwise very confindent officer. "La'an."
His voice was incredibly soft and deep and it sent a jolt of something straight down her spine only for it to settle low in her belly, a pleasant warmth that seemed to spread and somewhat calm that annoying itch under her skin.
"I do find myself," she began, her mouth reacting before her brain caught up, "experiencing some strange sensations."
Spock straightened, his spine as rigid as a metal pole. "Please, elaborate."
The muscles in his arms shifted, the shirt pulling tightly around his chest and La'an once again found herself wondering what those muscles would feel like rippling above her, under her... 'Snap out of it!'
"I haven't been able to fall asleep either. Every time I try to shut my brain off," his eyebrow jumped towards his hairline, "figure of speech..."
Something that was almost a smirk tugged at the corner of his lip and La'an took notice for the first time how full and kissable and delicious they looked. "Humans are exceptionally easy to tease."
La'an almost jumped out of her skin when his voice came out deeper than his usual tenor. Terror spread through her veins when the heat in her belly rushed south and she realized she was getting aroused. She squeezed her legs together, praying to every diety she didn't believe in that he didn't notice.
"C-Could this be a consequence of a mind meld?" She wanted to slap herself when she stuttered. 'What are you five La'an? Get a grip!'
"I am almost certain that it is. Humans, as psi-null beings, tend to not cope well in the aftermath of a mind meld. The unique circumstances under which it has been conducted have no doubt caused your mind to become overwhelmed."
Gods above, he was speaking in words that were too big to comprehend on a normal day, let alone after the chaotic one they've had.
"To put it in plain English," the smirk was back at almost full force, "your mind is in a state of shock."
"Then.." she stopped for a moment as she looked at him, impossibly handsome (why was she taking notes of his appearance now), the lights playing hide and seek across his body, making him look somewhat similar to a statue of Greek gods. She licked her suddenly dry lips, too busy panicking to notice his eyes flicking down to follow the action. Her eyes ran wildly across the room in an effort to anchor herself, her fingers squeezed into a fist behind her back.
He took a step towards her and she took a matching one back almost instinctively. Her knees made contact with the matters and she was stopped from falling backwards onto it by a pair of strong hands that took hold of her bare forearms. The skin to skin contact sent a zip of pleasure to her brain and she had to bite her lip to stop herself from moaning out loud and making a fool of herself. Spock stiffened slightly at the action as La'an locked her gaze straight ahead, stubbornly not looking at him.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry..." she mumbled several apologies as she tried to move away from him once she regained her balance, not realizing her fingers were no longer compressed into a fist and were twisted into his shirt. His fingers rubbed comforting circles at her forearms as he stepped even closer and effectively pressed her aginst him. La'an subconsciously gripped his shirt tighter and leaned onto him, his chin resting at the top of her head.
"La'an, breathe." His voice was calm and she tried to follow his instructions but her mind was all over the place and all she could see, feel and smell was him. He took hold of her hand, spreading her fingers apart, which sent another electric shock through her and this time there was no way to prevent a gasp from leaving her mouth. Once his shirt was released from the prison that were her fingers, he placed them flat aginst his chest. "Breathe." He took a breath and La'an struggled to copy his movements. After a few moments she got the hang of it and was slowly relaxing her stance, her head slumping forward slightly. Her forhead was pressed onto his chest and his other arm was now surrounding her in a one arm hug. She resisged the urge to think twice about how well she fit into his side and how amazingly he felt wrapped against her.
The hand on her back started rubbing up and down and she leaned onto him even more, shamelessly basking in the comfort he was giving her. He shifted his stance slightly and La'an found herself eased into an easy two step movement as his nose brushed her temples. She instinctively tilted her head up and was met with pupils that were so large, they almost swallowed up whole iris. Her hands wrapped around his shoulders as she rose on her toes to reach his lips.
"What are we doing?" She asked breathlessly, the critical and rational part of her brain waking up enough to make her rethink her actions.
"I must warn you," he whispered as his nose rubbed against her's, his lips coming closer, "the effects of a mind meld are still active. What you are feeling now might not be what you will be feeling later."
"So," her voice almost broke, "what is the logical thing to do?"
"The logical course of action for me would be to remove myself from your quarters and let you rest."
La'an licked her lips, his eyes following every move. "And what do you want?"
"I wish... to not be parted from you."
That was all La'an needed to close the final distance between their lips, Spock meeting her halfway. He kissed her with precission and grace only he possessed, the hand on her back pulling her against him tighter while his other hand enveloped hed fingers into a Vulcan kiss.
The itch under her skin was flaring up again, her nerves on fire as he broke the lip contact only to start placing butterfly kisses at the column of her neck. His fingers were doing something else entierly and La'an was pretty sure just the sight of it would cause many Vulcans to gag at an obviously passionate display. His fingers were caressing hers in what was probably a french kiss or the Vulcan equivalent of such. La'an wasn't Vulcan, she didn't have the nerve ending of a Vulcan woman and therefore, the Vulcan kiss shouldn't have any effect. Except, that kiss was sending bolts of pleasure through her body and making the crotch of her panties become wet more so than what his actual lips were doing.
Her free hand found the edge of his uniform and started tugging it up. In a lightning fast movment, he lifted his arms and threw the shirts away from him. At the same time he took hold of her own shirt, her arms raising up on instinct, and he flung it away from her. He brought both of his hands to her breasts, rolling them in his palms, pinching her nipples and making her moan. He smirked in his usual Vulcan fashion and lowered her onto the bed before climbing on top of her. He kissed her lips, down her neck, across the sternum before flicking his tongue against one of her nipples, her body curving up to meet him halfway. He sucked on one breast while one of his hands played with the other.
La'an gasped, moaned and whimpered as her legs coiled around his narrow waist in an effort to bring him closer to where she needed him the most.
Spock kissed her way down her stomach, the wet kisses he left on her breast meeting the cold air of her cabin and making her shudder. Her fingers wowed themselves into his hair, the strands of it impossibly soft beneath the pads. He looked up at her when his mouth came into the line of her sweatpants,ย  a silent question clear in his eyes. 'Are you sure?' Without missing a beat, La'an slid her fingers out of his hair and brought them to the waistband of her sleep pants, Spock's own hands helping as hers were shaking, slipping both the sweatpants and her underwear off in single motion.
An air of awkwardness hit La'an as she realized she was absolutely naked in front of her colleague who, at the moment, was busy running his eyes all over her body before locking onto her own. She brought her legs closer together in a self conscious move to close them but strong hands prevented her from doing that. Spock held her legs open as he positioned himself between them, the rough material of his pants rubbing against her in the most delicious way making her buck her hips.
Spock ground his hips against hers, his torso coming to rest against her, his face buried in the junction where her neck met her shoulder.
La'an twisted beneath him, her hands altermating between ripping into the sheets and scratching at the hard muscles across his back. Spock growled and bit her neck, sucking onto the same area which meant La'an would need to get up at lesst half an hour earlier than normal to cover what was sure to be an epic bruise. She slid one of her legs between his, her wet heat rubbing against the rough material of his pants. If she wasn't too far off into the pleasure land, La'an would be embarrassed by the fact that she was so wet he could probably feel it through his pants and that she was effectively humping his leg.
At a particularly loud moan that tore out of her mouth, Spock sat up, breaking the contact between their bodies, his hands immediately reaching for the fly of his pants. The pants were lowered just enough for him to free himslef before he returned to hover over her.
La'an twisted her fingers into the soft material of her bedsheets, her eyes running over his form. He was beautiful , for lack of a better term and he was about to take her, with a rush of arousal she realized she wanted him to take her.
Spock shifted above her, one of his elbow planted firmly onto the mattress, bearing the full weight of his body, as he took himself in his other hand and positioned himself at her enterance. He stoped. "La'an... are you certain?"
Instead of answering him she wrapped her legs around his narrow waist and pulled him into her. At the first contact of hard flesh and wet heat Spock dropped his forehead onto her's, his control hanging by a thread above a very high cliff. He closed his eyes, enjoying the feeling surrounding him and La'an felt a surge of pride that she was the one making him feel this way, the one making him loose all of his Vulcan training.
She wasn't immune to the effect he was having on her either. The way her body stretched to accomodate him was delicious and La'an was aware of tiny gasps leaving her mouth but she was neither willing nor capable to stop them.
She was so lost in her thought she missed the moment Spock's hips came flush against her's. She didn't miss, however, when he pulled himself back, her inner muscles working to keep him inside, before he slammed himself back, making her cry out. He set a gruelling pace, his hips slamming into her, alternating their angle every few thrusts or so, searching for something. It wasn't until a particularly hard thrust that he touched something deep inside her that made her see stars and her upper boddy jolt upwards in surprise. He made a point to do that thing with every single thrust and, sure enough, he had her approaching the curve of what, she was sure, was to be an amazing orgasm.
Spock burried his face in her neck, his own moans almost inaudible compared to her own, the rhythm with which he was moving never changing though she could feel, through the light bond through skin to skin contact, that he was close. He licked her neck and for a fraction of a second she wondered why Spock managed to sink his teeth into it and bite down, hard. The mix of pleasure and pain was too much for her to handle and she tensed up in his arms, crying out his name as she came violently.
She came through few minutes later, the aftershocks still surging through her body, tucked saftly into his side with his fingers mapping the skin of her shoulder. She turned herself towards him, so she was laying on her side, facing him. He had a softest smile on his face, his hair in complete chaos, baby hairs curling slightly from sweat.
"Well... that was unexpected." There was no awkwardness, she realized, her body relaxing completly.
"I disagree. The meld we have shared in the shuttle pulled us together to this very moment. If anything, everything that transpired from that point up until this very moment was... logical."
She rose up on her elbows, the fact that she was completely naked not bothering her in the slightest. "So what your saying is, having sex with me was logical?"
"Indeed. And if I may add, it has been the most incredible feeling."
The smile on his lips grew slightly and La'an realized, a thrill going through her, that he was teasing her. She smacked his chest. "Smooth talker."
He hummed in response, his eyelashes grazing his cheeks as his eyes closed. "I should leave, you need rest before your shift."
"I think that ship has sailed already." She glanced towards the clock on her nightstand. She would need to be up in 2h or so to get ready. "Stay." She whispered, slightly self concious and apperhensive of his response.
"If that is what you wish me to do, then I shall stay." She smiled and lowered herself back onto the bed, slightly moving away from him. A set of strong arms pulled her back into a hard and warm body and La'an let out a laugh as his hands tightened around her. "Sleep La'an." There was no need to tell her twice, her eyes already halfway closed.
"G'night Spock." She mumbled against his chest, his hand tracing a pattern against her back, lulling her to sleep.
She felt a gentle kiss being pressed aginst the crown of her head, a soft voice whispering against her ear. "Good night La'an."
She smiled. And slept.

Once you accept the definition of human life as artificialโ€”designed, engineeredโ€”it is then an easy matter to say that the proper study of man is not man but some other engineered object, the machine. And this is indeed what [herbert] Simon advocates: making the computer itself the object of study, as a phenomenon of a living system. โ€œSince there are now many such devices in the world [computers], and since the properties that describe them also appear to be shared by the human central nervous system, nothing prevents us from developing a natural history of them. We can study them as we would rabbits or chipmunks and discover how they behave under different patterns of environmental stimulation.โ€ Standing amazed before this human-created machine, the computer scientist declares it to be our very identity; then, to learn who and what we are, he advises that we studyย โ€ฆ the machine.
This circular ideaโ€”the mind is like a computer; study the computer to learn about the mindโ€”has infected decades of thinking in the computer and cognitive sciences. We find it in the work of Marvin Minsky, the influential figure in artificial intelligence, who, when asked if machines could think, famously answered: โ€œOf course machines can think; we can think and we are โ€˜meat machines.โ€™โ€ We see it in the writings of the cognitive scientist Daniel Dennett, whose book Consciousness Explained is suffused with conflations between human sentience and computers: โ€œWhat counts as the โ€˜programโ€™ when we talk of the virtual machine running on the brainโ€™s parallel hardware?โ€ฆ And how do these programs of millions of neural connection-strengths get installed on the brainโ€™s computer?โ€ And we can read it in the extreme predictions made by the engineer Ray Kurzweil, inventor of the Kurzweil music synthesizer and of reading systems for the blind. Kurzweil sees the coming of โ€œspiritual robotsโ€ almost entirely in the language of computer programming: calling memory โ€œthe mind file,โ€ which he will scan and โ€œdownloadโ€ to a silicon substrate, analyzing it for its basic โ€œalgorithms,โ€ thereby creating a โ€œbackup copyโ€ of the original human being, all without the aid of natural evolution, which he calls โ€œa very inefficient programmer.โ€
The limitations of this model of human intelligence should have become clear with the fading of that first naรฏve blush of optimism about the creation of sentient machines. In selecting the computer as the model of human thinking, AI researchers were addressing only one small portion of the mind: rational thought. They were, in essence, attempting a simulation of the neocortexโ€”rule-based, conscious thinkingโ€”declaring that to be the essence of intelligence.

How does CAD Drafting help the construction industry?
Tumblr media
Computer-Aided Design (CAD) drafting has transformed how construction projects are designed, planned, and executed. With advanced software and technology, CAD drafting has revolutionized the construction industry, making it easier, faster, and more cost-effective to design and build structures. This blog will explore how CAD drafting is useful in the construction industry.
What is CAD drafting?

State of the UC Union
Unified Communication and Collaboration (UC&C) is a combination of various communication methods and collaboration tools such as virtual whiteboards, real-time audio and video conferencing and enhanced call control capabilities to improve efficiency in the workplace. It provides a collection of easy-to-use solutions that can be implemented in various organizations to ensure that the end user receives a nearly real-time collaboration experience that works efficiently, smoothly and securely.
Video collaboration has been evolved from hardware-based codecs of traditional Polycom and Cisco Systems to more software driven solution of Microsoft Teams, Zooms, Google Meets, WebEx, post the pandemic. A lot of the solutions have now been replaced with simpler easier to deploy solutions for small meeting rooms, mid-size meeting rooms as well as larger boardrooms, meeting rooms, training rooms and large venue spaces such as Auditoriums and event spaces. However, the challenges of designing, executing and implementing the technologies and the user experience still remain. The intend of this whitepaper is to ensuring the reader to make the right decision based on todayโ€™s available technology. Video conferencing has become an increasingly important aspect of todayโ€™s world, as many organizations are transitioning to hybrid working environments. It has greatly aided in connecting people over a phone call where people can experience real-time video conferencing features while being located in different remote locations which would not be possible with Video conferencing platforms.
Tumblr media
Types of Video Conferencing:
Telepresence Video Conferencing System
Integrated Video Conferencing System
Desktop Video Conferencing System
Video Collaboration Platforms:
Zooms
Microsoft Teams
Google Meets
Cisco
WebEX
What are Native and Non- Native Solutions. Why is it important in a Video Collaboration system?
Video conferencing is a live audio-visual connection between two or more remote parties over the internet that simulates a face-to-face meeting in real-time. In the business world, desktop video conferencing is a core component of Unified communications platforms that also include calling and messaging capabilities. Standalone on-premises and cloud-based video conferencing platforms are also available from numerous vendors who support desktop and room-based Video conferencing solutions with the ability to embed them into business applications, such as Telehealth, customer service and distance learning, etc.
The Primary difference between a Native and a Non-Native system is the user experience. Post Work from home and Back to office systems imply that the end users wants a user interface (IPAD, OEMโ€™s touch panel, etc..) to have the same familiar look and feel that they are dialing/ joining directly from their laptop. Native user experiences also allow for a seamless connection to users within the enterprises in terms of a active directory integration as well. These native integrations have to be certified by the certified solution provides (Microsoft Team, Zooms, etcโ€ฆ) as a part of being through the ecosystem.
Though more expensive, native systems offer a more seamless experience to the management. Non-Native systems can be simply a Video collaboration bar in a room with a PC behind the display, essentially the PC is a desktop/ user laptop that allow content sharing as well as dialing/joining into the enterprise (As the main UC Engine). Non-native applications are easy to deploy, lower cost to maintenance as well.
Differences between Native and Non-Native Solutions
Hard Codec Running Native UC Platform Modes UC hardware often runs in โ€œNative Mode,โ€ meaning that the built-in Windows/Mac or Android computer is running a single UC Platform application such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom. The system is โ€œlocked inโ€ to that platform. This is a great option if your business is already using a soft client version on employeesโ€™ laptops, as you essentially just extend this experience to the meeting room. Employees can then make a Zoom call from their laptops, or a Zoom call from a conference roomโ€™s dedicated โ€œNativeโ€ platform. They are already familiar with the UI and so the transition to a hardware version feels seamless.
Soft codec Running Native UC Platform Modes
Soft codec systems are more commonly known as cloud or web-based video conferencing software. Theyโ€™re โ€œsoftโ€ as they donโ€™t need codec hardware to work, and โ€œcodecโ€ refers to devices or programs that compress and decompress data. It just needs a USB peripheral device such as USB camera, USB microphone and thin client PC in which all the software platforms can be loaded and they can initiate the call using wireless keyboard and mouse.
Unified Communication & Collaboration Tools for Native Interface
Zoom Rooms Zoom Rooms, the Modern Hybrid workspaces for Teams, brings HD video collaboration into any space โ€“ in the office, the classroom, or at home โ€“ and allows in[1]person and remote participants to interact in real-time. The Phoenix Microphone is created with the vision of a clutter free conference table, the Condor sits above or below your monitor and with a pick-up range of up to 30 ft almost any conference room can use the Condor.
Conclusion
Enterprises today face a range of options, and we feel the top five takeaways are as follows:
Understand your vision for the Unified Collaboration rollout for your enterprise well in advance. (Spend time planning.)
Do trial runs with different manufacturers and end users to understand what works and what doesnโ€™t across a range of budgets.
Deploy in small batches.
Understand the long-term value of the system as well as the compatibility with other systems that may come along the way that we may feel are going to be more software-driven.
Collect and analyze data around usage patterns using room schedulers, sensors on clouds, and analytics platforms to assist in improving the user experience as well as assisting with remote asset management and remote deployments.

What is unplugged coding?
As we all know, in today's technologically advanced world, knowing how to code is undoubtedly becoming quite vital. Due to the popularity of video games, internet movies, cartoons, smartphones, tablets, and other electronic gadgets, children nowadays are very familiar with technology. As a result, learning the craft of coding is now simpler for kids. A child who knows how to code has an advantage over others. There will be more opportunities in computer science and software engineering, and people with coding skills will be in high demand as our reliance on technology grows. Coding also teaches pupils digital literacy, which is crucial because we spend an increasing amount of time online. Learning to code helps you become a better problem solver. Testing your work, making mistakes, and fixing them are all necessary steps in the writing and creating of code. Children learn that making mistakes is totally okay by doing this, and they also learn how to fix faults.
Since coding necessitates a solid foundation in mathematics and logical principles, children who are introduced to it early on are likely to later demonstrate superior aptitude in those areas.
With these advantages, teaching children how to code seems like a necessary step in education. However, coding relies heavily on electronic devices such as laptops, desktop computers and mobile phones, ee can have a negative impact on the health of children. Increased screen time can have less than ideal side effects on eyesight, can result in increased difficulty to sleep, obesity, depression, anxiety and poorer performance in school.
But what if there was a non screen alternative to coding? It might seem surprising, but coding can be learnt to an extent without using any electronic devices. This is done in the form of unplugged coding.
Unplugged coding is the study of coding principles without the aid of technology. Without really writing any code, you are learning how to programme. Students apply their expertise to work on computational problems during coding unplugged that will help them comprehend the ideas they'll use in coding projects. Unplugged coding is an accessible, inexpensive method of learning code without using traditional electronic devices.
Unplugged coding originated in the 1990s due to the lack of computers in schools. Despite computers now being widely available in schools, unplugged coding is crucial, particularly for beginners because many of the abilities required to create code are ones they already have or might utilise outside of the technical field. The intricacy of the coding languages and tools may obscure this relationship if they plunge headfirst into the unfamiliar realm of coding. Before writing a single line of code, students can benefit from unplugged coding to develop their computational thinking skills as coding is more than just writing lines of code.
Advantages of unplugged coding
Unplugged coding has numerous benefits. Here are some reasons why unplugged coding should be taught to kids:
No electronic distractions
Using an electric device such as a computer or laptop can result in children getting distracted easily by other digital influences such as gaming apps. It can also lead to a shorter attention span. However, by not using a device to code will result in a focused child who is engaging in critical thinking and is actively working on solving the problems that come up in coding.
Encourages teamwork
Coding can be a lonely activity for the majority of the time. While collaborations do occur in the form of group and pair coding, for much of the time, one is engaged in coding alone. But with the advent of unplugged coding, this is resolved as unplugged coding activities are usually performed in groups, thus promoting the qualities of cooperation and teamwork. By working in a team, children will learn how to engage with a team, compromise and share ideas.
Shows concrete results
Languages used in programming are abstract. As a result, flaws and errors are frequently challenging to find. Students can see and feel their achievements and errors with unplugged coding projects and learn from them. For example, a child may be following a procedure Rohit understanding why they have to do so, but with unplugged coding, the child can understand the process as it is done physically in a tangible format.
Increases creativity
The unplugged coding games and activities can increase creativity and make coding enjoyable as important concepts are taught in the form of an activity or game.
Suitable for beginners
The simple nature of unplugged coding makes it a popular choice for newbies and young children. Children may be more inclined to join in an activity that indirectly teaches coding concepts rather than directly learn formulas and such.
How unplugged coding can be achieved
Unplugged coding is taught mostly in the form of activites. Many coding concepts can be taught just with a pack of cards, pencil and paper. There are numerous activites that teaches coding , some of which are listed down below.
Using magnetic tiles to code
Magnetic tiles can be formed into the shape of a grid to teach kids about algorithms and sequences. By placing obstacles within the tiles and setting a start and finish line , children should navigate the obstacles as best as they can as they follow a set of instructions written in the form of a coding sequence. This activity is best done with a pair of kids.
Sudoku problems
Sudoku puzzles are a great way to introduce the concepts of conceptual thinking. Solving the sudoku puzzles requires focusing on one small section at a time and using patterns to deduce how to solve the problem. This is also an inexpensive way to teach the fundamentals of coding as it only requires a sudoku puzzle and pencil.
Stacking blocks
For this project, a set of students is shown a picture of how to stack a set of blocks. Then, another set of students are instructed to stack the blocks without looking at the instructions. This activity will teach the difference between symbols and actions.
Creating a coding language
In this activity, children should form their own coding language drawing inspiration from other codes such as Morse Code. This code can then be used to create a language with symbols and use it for further activities.
Coding is a great and valuable skill for the future, and future-oriented youngsters can benefit from learning to code early on because it is a talent that will be valuable. To acquire the necessary abilities, people don't necessarily need to write code. They can learn problem-solving, computational thinking and critical thinking. When students are sitting at a computer creating code, they can then put all these skills to use.

Backstory
Growing up without a family and without anyone really to stick up for her, Georgia fell into an antisocial and less than legal lifestyle. She taught herself how to extract information from secure places and then sold that information off to whoever could pay her the most.
All of this changed when she got on S.H.I.E.L.D.โ€™s radar though. Nick Fury gave her an ultimatum, she could either use her skills for good at S.H.I.E.L.D., or she could go to prison. A non choice really but she would be lying if she said she didnโ€™t like using her powers for good instead of evil.
Sheโ€™s on the clock when Loki attacks, her skills employed to help track him down but she isnโ€™t given Avenger status until the very organization she works for becomes a threat to world security.
Fury calls on her again and she codes the program necessary to take down the Helicarriers. When the job is done, Georgia offers to help Steve and Sam in the search for the former Winter Soldier. She hadnโ€™t ever really had a family or friends and it felt good to have a little network of folks.
That family is threatened though when the Sokovia Accords rear their ugly head. Georgia didnโ€™t like them for multiple reasons, the main one being that if she stepped slightly outside of a little box they painted for her, sheโ€™d end up in prison. She had left her life of crime behind back in 2012 and she didnโ€™t take to kindly to the notion of being put in a cell for doing what was right. It was that attitude of government that had spurned her on to her criminal career in the first place. Now if she tried to help people in a way a handful of people in a room didnโ€™t like sheโ€™d face consequences? No, she didnโ€™t think so.
She sides with Steve of course, helping Sharon to give Capโ€™s team the information and aid they need to accomplish their goals and stay hidden. She would have fought with them then but her pet projectย โ€œHaywireโ€ wasnโ€™t quite ready yet. Being on the run for two years gave her plenty of time however.
When the time comes again to defend the Earth, this time from a purple man eager to assert his will on the entire universe,ย โ€œHaywireโ€ is finished. She takes up that superhero moniker along with two electric batons and charges into battle. However, her S.H.I.E.L.D. training and electrical engineering could not have prepared her for what awaited her in Wakanda. The next thing she knows she wakes up to fight again five years later.
Tony Stark died to save the universe and Steve Rodgers settles down in the past after cleaning up the mess. Georgia doesnโ€™t blame Steve for leaving, his fight was finished. Hell, she thought hers was too, until a beloved symbol is given to someone else and an old friend asks for her help in tracking down a new threat to peace, The Flag Smashers.
