@fell-star-if posted this (I hope link works lol) and I only thought:
"Making Shian cry...so Cassiar has chosen death"
So I drew this for fun :D

Also let's all just pretend they all dress still the same as in the beginning of the game _(:'3/ L)_
Edit: the urge to always write Cassius because of a character in gbf is strong lmao

Cassiar: It's fun causing mayhem with you, but I can only see you as a friend.
Thuban: Oh I completely understand. We're both too gorgeous! If we hooked up it would violate the Laws of Balance with our combined raw animal magnetism and sex appeal!
Looking forward to Cassiar's eventual appearance in @fell-star-if.
While I know my Harbinger Thuban isn't really Cassiar's type since she identifies as a woman I'm still looking forward to them possibly becoming friends and causing mayhem together!

"SIMON GUN-A-NOOT," Victoria Daily Times. November 14, 1912. Page 10. ---- Said to Be Living Among Indians on Muddy River.-Mining Party Returns. ---- The report that Simon Gun-a-Noot, the Indian murderer, is living among the Indians on the Muddy river, about one hundred miles east of the Dease river, was brought to the city yesterday by a party who have been spending the season developing a hydraulic mining property for the Boulder Creek Mining Company in Cassiar.
In the party were one of the owners; Lord Beauclerc, Warburton Pike, W. A. Casey and H. P. O'Farrell. Lord Beauclerc left immediately left immediately for the east.
The mine is located about four hundred miles from the coast and they made the trip by canoe and pack train. The past season has been quite successful and twenty-five men were employed.
More prospectors have been in the Dease lake and Cassiar this season than during any season since the Cassiar excitement. Many were attracted by the reports made at the close of last season of rich placers being found on the Nehana river. Although no finds of great importance were made the explorers said there was much good ground for prospecting, and it is expected that many will go in next year. With more trails it is anticipated that considerable prospecting will be carried on in this district.

So cassiar isn't into trans men, then?
He will care for Trans!MC, but not in a romantic way. Cassiar's preferences leans more towards Cis-Men, and individuals who have male genitals. Totally not me outing Cassiar as a semen demon or anything-
Freida is a bit different, as she can be with a Trans!MC, but anything leading to sex will be a no go. She would be okay with cuddles and kisses, but she will say no to any form of penetration.

Chirping Ground Squirrel - September 2023 I went outside at Jade City and almost as soon as I stepped onto the sidewalk I could hear a strange chirping noise that didn’t quite sound like any bird I had ever heard. I was looking at where the warbling appeared to be coming from when this brown ground squirrel poked its head around the trash container. There was a matching warble from near the side of the building and he scurried off to join whoever he was talking to. MWM

Last Chance - Northland Favorites
Last Chance – Northland Favorites
When Patti announced “Last Chance”, our unpublished favorites from 2022 as last week’s Lens- Artist’s Photo Challenge,  I knew I had an embarrassment of riches. Since I took a long hiatus from my blog this year, I had way too many favorites for one post. Since I spend about half the year down south housesitting and the other half home in Alaska, it seemed like an easy way to solve my dilemma…

Adventuresses We Love - Nellie Cashman
Adventuress Ellen “Nellie” Cashman was born in 1845 in County Cork, Ireland, at the beginning of the famine. In 1850 her family emigrated to the United States, settling first in Boston before moving West. In 1872, Nellie and her mother established their first boarding house in a silver-mining town in Nevada. It was a great success, and inspired Nellie to continue opening and operating boarding houses, hotels, and restaurants, first throughout the Southwest, then, eventually, in the Yukon. While in the Yukon, she would also work her own gold claims, something almost unheard of for women at the time.
In 1877, Nellie received word that a group of 26 miners had been trapped and injured by a blizzard in the Cassiar Mountains of British Columbia. The miners were also reportedly suffering from scurvy. Without hesitation, Nellie organized a 6-man rescue party, then gathered medicine, food, as much Vitamin C as they could carry, and supplies, and set off to save the stranded men.
The conditions in the mountains were so dangerous that the Canadian army tried to turn them back – twice. Both times, Nellie and her team refused. After travelling for 77 days on foot, (the snow was too deep for dogsleds), the team finally located the trapped miners – whose number was actually closer to 75. Nellie nursed the men back to health, then led them out of the mountains.
Nellie continued to run her boarding houses and other business ventures, including at least one mining operation, for the rest of her life. In 1912, Nellie took part in the election to decide if Alaska should become a US territory. Women couldn’t legally vote in Alaska yet, but she did it anyway. (Alaska would formally affirm women’s right to vote shortly after becoming a territory.)
Nellie Cashman, “the Angel of the Cassiars,” died January 4, 1925, at the Sisters of St. Anne Hospital in Vancouver – a hospital she had helped build.
