There's a comic where Emmet is in hisui and he ends up being stuck in a cave in the snowy pet of Hisui (my brain is currently failing to remember the name) and he's been stuck there for a while with a zorora pup he adopted as his child so in an act of desperation to make sure they don't die he cuts his arm off so the pup can at less survive.
What I'm getting at here is what if the same thing happens to him and sugar in hisui so he does the same for Sugar?
Fun little variation of this:

Hey, so for the Human Au, how do think Julie would go about her life? Considering her personality in the website, I would think that he takes up different part-time jobs, but mainly likes working at the community center, mainly for the summer/after school programs where they can come up with and host fun activities for the kids!
no yeah that's pretty much what i was thinking! she bounces from job to job - she probably has a roster of seasonal ones that she rotates between. Julie really does seem like an every-gal yk? doing just one thing all the time would be soooo boring
i like the idea of summer / after school programs a lot actually! since canon Julie is big on games and fun, i'm sure she'd be a great choice for those sorts of things. i bet she works a seasonal summer camp in their county!

“You did good, Aemond,” Aegon praises, but he, like the rest of the council, is distracted by Lucerys in his arms. “And this unexpected turn of events… is a boon for us.”
“A boon?” Mother looks horrified. “We’re doomed. Rhaenyra will—”
“She will do anything to keep her child safe,” Grandsire finishes for her. He also looks pleased, if pensive. Aemond has learned to tread with caution when he is like this, and his arms unconsciously tug Lucerys’ body closer to his chest. “You have done a good job, Aemond. Now let’s get the boy to the dungeons and—”
“You will do no such thing,” Aemond doesn’t recognize who is speaking until a few moments later, when he realizes it is his own voice. “Lucerys Velaryon is still a prince of the realm, and he will be treated as such,” he sends a sharp look to his mother when she goes to speak. “This is not up for discussion.”
Mother looks like she wants to argue, but a lazy wave of Aegon’s hand stops her.
“Worry not brother,” Aegon’s eyes hold an amused glimmer. Aemond has the sudden urge to punch him. “He is your prisoner. You may do with him as you deem fit.”
His brother’s words should bring some kind of relief to him. This means he can inflict any kind of retaliation on Lucerys, at last he can take revenge for his eye, and he will face no punishment. Instead, all Aemond can feel is dread. He does not like to think of what it may mean.
He meant it. He meant to hurt Lucerys, he meant to chase him out in the storm, he meant to bring him to King’s Landing. He meant to have Vaghar kill his dragon, he meant to take him prisoner, he meant to make him pay his debt.
He meant it. He meant it. He meant it.
(In his head, Lucerys won’t stop screaming.)
A small treat because I’ve finally finished the first interlude for five stages of grief. This one is for you @shipdepot

I'm a day late with the Seasonal Vibes prompt but I've got one with Bow and Glimmer from my church camp AU, out picking wild fruit on Glimmer's family property as they talk about a change coming up for both of them. A short story for Glimbow Week 2023: Seasonal Vibes.

...So yes! They have been through much, much worse. A walk through a forest with a neglected road? Should be a breeze through the park! And yet, they drag their feet as if they’re travelling through muck, looking over their shoulders with an unneeded precaution, hoping to delay the inevitable. Jasper’s memories couldn’t have been as fond as David’s, given their last year together but…
“Oh. Shit.” Jasper’s mumbled exclamation draws him out of his thoughts. “Looks like you were right, Davey.”
Turns out, they didn’t drag their feet long enough. Ahead of them stands the familiar old sign of Camp Campbell, though half the letters are missing. The rickety old sign is hanging loose and limp, the one remaining chain allowing it to swing idly as a strong wind jostles it. Apprehension grips David as he looks over the once familiar campgrounds. When did the disasters start?
When did they begin?
I’m alive I’m still going! @jaspvid-week day 3: AU day is based off of the post apocalyptic AU by my wonderful @jubilantwriter, in particular this installment here which is where the excerpt is from!
