When I was a kid my mom got me two kittens for my birthday but my grandmother couldn't keep them (we already had cats) so they had to stay with my parents. who were dryug addicts and not capable of caring for animals or even get them fixed (they produced a litter of kittens at least twice.) anyway they eventually surrender the two cats to some lady in Bulverde who owned a big farm house and had like a personal "cat rescue" (i would call it animal hoarding but the cats were genuinely well cared for and had an awesome enclosed outdoor setup) and the woman said if she dies she's going to have all the cats euthanized so they can be buried with her, and we had to sign a paper acknowledging this before giving her the cats. wild. I still think about that sometimes.

Whoever buys this home must love the current owner's taste, especially in tile. The 1976 Bulverde, Texas home has 5bds, 4.5ba and is listed for $1.175M.
There's a spacious living room with a large boxy gray fireplace, but the fire screen and sculptural coffee table help to give it some texture and interest.
The home is surrounded by windows b/c it's very secluded and on a mountain top.
I think that the round structure is a small bar between the kitchen and sitting room.
I would not want to carry food up 3 tile stairs to the dining room. The kitchen is covered in tile, including the island/counter.
The kitchen is not particularly large and it's very angular.
Here is a closeup of the backsplash.
The primary bedroom has built-in glass shelves, doors to the patio, and a view of what looks like a garden wall.
At first I thought that the en-suite was carpeted, but it appears to be some sort of textured stone, b/c it's on the countertops, also.
Huge double shower with benches.
This is a dinette.
And, a wet bar with a wine fridge.
Large unused bedroom.
Spacious child's room.
Look at the floral tiles in this bath.
Each bath is a different style.
I'm confused. Not sure what this room that leads to the shower room is. Maybe it's a space for a vanity table or seat?
