#vigiledit #bbc vigil #amy silva #kirsten longacre #suranne jones #rose leslie #vigil spoilers #vigil 2x06 #amy x kirsten #femslash related stuff #okay so I hadn't been feeling well saturday night so when the eps dropped I literally just watched the last scene on iplayer #just to make sure nobody freaking died #and it was amy saying I'm coming home on the phone #and given the ''come home''/''I can't'' moment in the trailer I thought amy was legit gonna stay in wudyan these whole last 3 eps #which I didn't love the idea of I truly wanted an amy/kirsten reunion but I was like oh maybe rose leslie's pregnancy interfered #as long as they're both alive and we got that lovely scene in ep 2 it's fine #so this was all a COMPLETE surprise even more than usual #I made it a twist to my own self #and then it was like the perfect hurt/comfort scene you'd want for an action detective couple like this!#amy so focused on the job and then dropping everything to rush to kirsten's side #sitting there all night and that classic waking up in the chair next to the hospital bed scene #and they even had their cake and ate it too by having amy *choose* kirsten over the job #only for kirsten to then push her back to it #and going from this soppy soft teary version of amy to a pissed off black suit badass #because they'd hurt her girl #such a good couple to build a series like this around #lol amy really didn't want to leave!#she's just sitting and gazing at kirsten #man those years ago kirsten would never have imagined getting to see amy like this and meaning so much to her

thank u! funny enough I was fully eyeballing the majority of the process, I committed to using the soft pencil brush at size 100 to fill in most of the details which ended up making everything look kinda blurry (which I don't hate! it just looks like wrongly resized at any level of zoom except all out and 100%) anyways this is the size

I know plenty of folks draw on like 10K canvases all the time but this is double the size of my usual canvas lol. and it is at 350dpi bc it's the SAI2 preset and I love stressing out my beautiful, traitorous laptop

I did Two digital pieces on the screen tablet and immediately my hands are killing me again #its! unfortunate! that screen tablets suck in this specific way!!#I might need to save up for a new graphic tablet. look for one that works well with SAI2 #my beloved huion is paint chipped to the point of snagging (my fault there) and it refuses to work with SAI2... sadge #well. I'll try and get another huion. its just. doing traditional inking for a month and returning to digital art has made it so clear #how much drawing like that was fucking with my hands. I was legit in pain last night. its not good!!#shouldn't be the case!! mmm #well. at least business (this) is done with. now that ive experienced spending time with other people, its so much harder to be alone.... god i really didnt want this to happen. god, yea. the loneliness really isnt tolerable when i know what its like to have company

I'd be p much alone if i went to class bc its a test day. and legit all we'd do is test. bc its our final #but im like :((( but what if i miss out :((( LIKE WHAT. ON WHAT COULD U POSSIBLY MISS OUT ON #YOU HAVE FRIDAY... but like. its rlly hitting me that friday is like. my last day with most of my classmates. and im gonna be travelling #alone for the rest of my time here. and i... i shouldve made connections sooner. im such a fool #i know i can ask my classmates to have dinner with ne one last night before i leave bc I'll have time on the 28th. but. it's wild how the professors in first year made us read adrian mole and john green and the professors in second gave us to kill a mockingbird and cat on a hot tin roof, they seriously need to get in tandem with each other i'm getting whiplash

#dan talks #legit tho first year books were so boring and meaningless #ok well john green did try for its own sort of meaning but its a book for v young teens #and now we have tkam which. its such a meaningful story that made me cry and read it like a proper book late into the night #like this is a book id love to discuss w/ someone outside of uni i love those characters #hot tin roof wasnt as meaningful for me bcs its a play and should be watched and not read #it cant have as much nuance of description #but i still liked brick and thought it was interesting #im mainly mad abt adrian mole lol who the fuck gave us that to read #and not even the first book like. the 5th or whatever #had to drag myself by my fingernails
