YOU WANT GREEN DRESS CONTENT MARY YOU GOT IT!

Here she is in all her glory! I combined a couple ones in my head, but when I think about The Green Dress™️ it’s this one!

She was feeling really low when she got that dress. I think she was really having a crisis of confidence, and was internalizing a lot of the things that were going wrong with all those terrible dates.

It was something she always had her eye on and wanted, but never went all in on because of the price tag (she’s a practical girl). And that date gave her the perfect excuse for a little pick-me-up-treat.

But I loved the dress standing in for how she was feeling about the situation. It’s something she wanted and even though she has it, she’s so uncomfortable in it because it’s not going how she envisioned it. Just like how she always wanted Bradley to set her up with someone, and the one time he gives in she’s so worked up about it because it just didn’t feel the way she expected it would.

She was putting so much pressure on herself for that date because she knew Bradley would never just set her up with anyone. It would only be someone that he held in high esteem. And that makes her spiral a bit too, like could that date be IT? Does she even want it to work out? (It is, and she does!)

And of course, we know just how much that boy appreciated the dress! It’s his new favorite color! So obviously he’s going to add that expensive cotton cloud comforter to his already enormous bill the second he sees it, he’s got a payment plan it’s fine! 💚

(Naturally, that boy goes feral when she wears it on special date nights, but is always very careful when he unzips it before gently setting it aside to show her just how much he appreciates it with his mouth.)

Jade hides his feral n wildness under layers of civility, like completly buries it so no one can see. He has more of an iron grip n control over his more animalistic violent tendencies n nature n qualities, trying to not let it be visible or known or openly shown n mostly his unhingedness is def more subtly let out thu his barbed quips n sharp words. He hides them like he hides everything else, deceit n trickery is his way n alley after all.

Floyd obv is the complete opposite. He hates holding back, hiding is not his way, he prefers being more honest n open n out there. N you see it with the way he acts, how he’s fucking wild at times, how he openly fights n is willing to fight, how he doesn’t care n gives 0 fucks much to Azul’s dismay n displeasure sometime. His unhingedness is always there, in his words, in his manners, in his actions, it just all comes down to whether or not he wants to or feels like acting on them.

So some are au specific others are gen! Matt says he likes wine cause it's fancy, but he rlly doesn't know anything about wine, and hates the way it tastes, but keeps trying to drink it 'to be fancy'.

Wasteland Au Matt, has two older/twin sisters (they survived and part of Laurel's biker gang). Was a 'pageant' family so lots of different competitions/and focus on presentation. Wasteland au matt is a a really good shot! (part of the hc is one of the bonding things he did growing up was skeet shooting with his dad)

Artic au matt is a book murderer and will cut a large book in half so he it's easier to carry around/put in his pocket. Everyone in the station *hates* it.

Artic au matt likes super foods/health foods but def doesn't rlly know the benefits/can't pronounce half of them

I just picture gen matt as usually spoiled child/only child in most cases

Gen matt is squimish/really narsty things make him wretch easily, and they def use that to Tease/prank him a lot. (makes the really loud 'hurchgh' sounds)

Buy's people novelty key chains/gifts/ect with names on it, but often never the right name. Gets tord 'todd/toby/tim' keychains, and they believe he goes out of the way to get the wrong names Loves travel souvenirs in general

Absolutely loves getting monogramed stuff

He knits!! Ideal knitting, cause likes keeping his hands busy, knits while watching stuff/chatting

Loves shitty soap opera's so much ~~can't tell me he wouldn't of been hooked to brittish soaps like east enders, and then when they got netflix it was over cause he could watch foriegn soap operas and would not share the remote)

i wish you could just google "good things to do in x on vacation when you live like a hobbit, slow and hungry at all times" and get a decent answer, cause like.....so far my vacation has solidly booked itself the public gardens, a bookstore, and a pub called the split crow.
