Now currently watching Buddy Daddies thinks the only things that are the same is Child and Killers, but end of story. Very happy at the platonic relationship, not enough of those, but the sheer differences of stress levels I experienced between watching BD and SxF.

Belos found out King is a titan. And now he has an idea, his idea is that he'll convince King to give himself up to Belos by telling him if he didn't do that he'd kill Luz, Eda, and everyone he loved. King, being a scared and worried child, accepted. Belos is keeping King in a cage(literally) in his "work space" to "harvest" his blood. He is using King as an infinite supply of titans blood, for which King, can't do anything about it in pure and utter fear of his family being hurt. The collector seeing this over time knew King was his key to being free, after all, Belos had been telling them that the key to freedom was titans blood. But after awhile the collector fell in love with King, feeling sympathetic almost. This forced him to become mature about it and try and side with Eda and Luz to save King the best he could while still trapped. Meanwhile Kings world view has changed. He's mad at the world. He's mad that the universe is against him. Hes so weak, he can't even get up properly. Constantly with an almost aggravated attitude. He's traumatized. And it's all thanks to Belos.

The music was loud so loud it could be heard from my station that was the same level as the prison "it's so fucking loud" I grumbled pulling out my ear plugs even those didn't work to block out the noise.

I heard beeping from behind me so I turned looking over my shoulder to the small droid on the table the guards brought him in a few hours ago damaging him the process "hey little guy" I murmured putting down my tools and slowly walking to him with my hands up.

"I'm not here to hurt you ok" I murmured and he beeped nervously as he slowly crept towards me to the edge of the table "I'm sorry about the guards their morons" I whispered picking up his broken pieces "dd please go get me some tools so I can patch up our friend here" I said.

My own little Droid flew out its station beeping happily as it flew between us and my desk passing me all the needed tools "come on little guy time to patch you up" I murmured and started humming to myself my tools drowning out the sound of the nearing prisoner.

Cal dropped down behind the unaware girl and his eyebrows rose in confusion as he watched her with his light saber raised he leaned to the side watching her work with his little companion "drop the tools" he spoke startling her causing her to fling the star screw driver at him but if landed a few feet in front of him.

"Shit you scared me" I squeaked moving my hands to my heart feeling it race "easy I'm just here for the droid" he murmured gesturing to bd-1 I glanced between the two "oh yeah here I was just repairing him and did a tiny upgrade on his antenna" I smiled gently picking up the small bot and bringing him to his owner.

The man frowned as he took him "why" he asked his voice low I nervously rubbed the back of my neck "it's kinda the only entertainment I get around here I fix or make new bots from the pieces I get" I looked around the room the small bots I've made peaking out their hiding spots.

"I'm cal" the man said sticking out his hand and I gently shook it "yn" I smiled and giggled as a few of my bots rolled to me and stopped by my feet "geez you've made a lot of them" he said kneeling down causing a few of them to hide behind me I let out a shakey breathe "I've made alot more but they get taken for gambling" I sighed making him look up at me with sorrow but I could see an idea popped into his head "how are you with shis".

-Time skip-

I felt sorry for the creatures we were killing yes its their nature but their death is only for fun, I shot one of those frog things making it crash into the wall, a group of my small bots tazered the group of scazz "what is this" sorc tormo boomed and I looked up at him confused intill a ship crashed into the area.

My smile widened as I recognized the ship "bloody greez" I murmured quickly gathering up my bots and following cal onto the ship "I will find you" sorc's voice faded as the door closed and the ship shook as it flew off "greez, cere" cal called as he rushed into the cock pit of the ship and I was slow to follow.

"I'm glad to see yo- yn" greez stopped mid sentence his eyes widening, "sup greez missed me" cal looked between the two of us surprised "glad to see you looking after my ship" I mused making him huff like a child "you own 50% of it not all of it" he muttered a few curse words turning his gaze back to flying.

"I'm cere now tell me what's this about you owning the ship" the lady spoke her eyes never leaving mine I laughed shaking my head "I won a lot of things from gambling that's also how I ended up in sorc's prison just on his good side" I paused "and that's how I met greez and he quickly lost all his belongings except the ship" I smiled.

Greez grumbled "wasn't my fault I was drunk" cere looked at him surprised "but why only 50%" cal asked crossing his arms his gaze on my I felt flustered under his gaze "I felt sorry for him" I laughed making cere laugh to "well I bet I can win it back" greez muttered putting the ship into hyper drive, cere lightly smacked the back of his head making him hiss

"so you can lose the rest of it I think not".

I will never understand how imprinting just fixed bella/jacob’s dynamic like the narrative even acknowledges that sam still loves leah but is outpowered by the imprint on emily. it doesn’t make sense how bella/jacob feelings seem to just vanish. I even remember reading “it didn’t feel like how I wanted it” in bella’s pov during the book three of bd when jacob says its now how it’s supposed to be.

It literally makes NO sense, especially with the further explanation of the Sam/Leah stuff in the guide. It specifically says the way he felt about Leah did not change, it just couldn't compete with these new overwhelming feelings for Emily, and that he loved her enough not to live a lie with her like Emily asked him to do, which according to imprinting he shouldn't have been able to refuse her. None of it makes sense.

In SM's interview in the guide she talks about how imprinting was inspired by A Midsummer Night's Dream, which involved four people: Lysander and Hermia, who are in love; Demetrius, who loves Hermia, and Helena, who loves Demetrius. A fairy uses magic to 'fix' the problem but screws it up, so Lysander and Demetrius both end up in love with Helena, chaos ensues, and in the end the fairies fix it again by making Lysander/Hermia and Demetrius/Helena happen and SM thought that was wonderful, the magic of loving 'the right people' and that inspired Jacob imprinting, 'everything made right in a glittery moment of fairy dust' or something along those lines.

But like . . . Renesmee is a literal baby?!? Mere minutes old?! AND she's the daughter of Jacob's first love and his romantic rival? AND she's half vampire? AND he has no choice in this and all his connections with his family, his pack, his identity are "cut like the strings of balloons" and a steel cable binds him to Renesmee forever in their place?

And I am supposed to think this is a GOOD thing?

After seeing what a mess imprinting made of Leah, Sam and Emily's lives?! Sure, Emily and Sam have true love, I guess; but Leah's heart is broken, her father is dead, Emily's face is covered in scars, and Sam is carrying around a tremendous amount of guilt. Happily ever after, am I right?

Even if we believe Jacob's feelings for Bella are just gone (even though we know Sam's feelings for Leah didn't disappear), or that his feelings for her were just misplaced feelings for the future Renesmee . . . why would BELLA's feelings be affected at all? If anything she should be frozen with her feelings for Jacob in place, right? That's the vampire canon? Yes she's married to Edward and loves him more, but whatever lingering love she had for Jacob (which let's be real can't be that familial/brotherly if she daydreamed about having two kids with him as she does at the end of Eclipse) should be frozen in place, too. I always got the feeling that right now they are like "yeah imprinting explains it all we never really had romantic feelings for each other" but that in time they're realize that's not actually true

Sure, Bella gets to keep her best friend around for eternity. But Jacob has no choice and now has to keep phasing literally forever and be functionally immortal, watching his father, sisters, pack mates, etc eventually grow old and die. Edward has to put up with his one-time romantic rival for all eternity. And Renesmee, phew, Renesmee. If I were her I'd always be bothered by the idea that when my universe-appointed soulmate had a choice, he chose my mom.

In conclusion, Your Honor, imprinting makes no sense as a solution to Jacob and Bella's problems and just makes everything worse. I rest my case.

Kpop Twitter is big mad today.

Stray Kids performance at SBS got messed up by the tech crew, Hongjoong apparently posted a photo with a brand that's on the BDS list so now he and KQ have to weigh in on the Israeli government, and Big Hit is underutilizing Beomgyu's talents so they are garbage I guess.

I know that these are actual concerns, but screaming about it on Twitter is so odd to me.

SBS isn't going to change their pr approach to their screw up because of a hashtag.

Demanding that a record label take a stance on geo-politics is bananas.

Hashtagging your anger about a member not getting enough attention isn't going to impact the way they roll out their music or promotional things.

This pressure and negative attention isn't productive, and I can't imagine it's any good for the artists themselves.

Like, I am just as overly invested in these artists as the loudest of fans (these three groups are actually three of my favorites), but this anger is so bonkers to me; this doesn't protect anyone, it doesn't help anything.

I know this is really just a case of me being baffled with this brand of fan, but also jfc, y'know?

Day four of @calkestisweek is Scars, and it is part four of Prey (and a sit-and-wait predator)

In front of him, is a lifeless BD unit. The paint is scratched and fading but the weight is familiar in his hands. There’s a dent from when the droid jumped too far and took a particular tumble, a patch of paint on his side from when he moved while being touched up. The workbench is well equipped for repair. BD-1 lays out on the surface with the light shining above him. Cal pries open the stim dispenser to reveal a couple remaining canisters. One of them he tips out and injects into the side of his neck. The empty canister gets chucked to the side. BD-1 is barely holding together by wires and loose screws. Cal replaces his foot with a spare from the shelves. He pulls the right power cord from above and plugs the droid in. There’s enough room for him to pull himself up on the bench to wait.

You should also know that the chapter count has been updated and there will be another part tomorrow!

In which Alora accidentally screws up a very important BD deal and has to deal with the consequences.

“This was you?” Kano asks, venom laced in his voice as he waits for Alora’s answer. She stares back at him, keeping her gaze on his but not ignoring the way his nails started to leave faint indents in the wood of the bar.

“Kano, come on she didn’t—“

“Shut the fuck up Demir!” Kano growls and smacks a glass off the countertop without looking, sending it crashing into who knows what. It explodes everywhere, a scared quiet gasp sounding from Kate’s lips. Kano points his finger at Alora, nostrils flaring as he asks the question again.

“Was. This. You.” It’s repeated with malice, his thick eyebrows knitted together so tight that if the situation wasn’t so tense then Alora might have laughed.

She runs her tongue over her teeth, keeping her demenour as neutral as possible.

“I didn’t know.” She finally answers, not a quiver in her tone or a tremble in her body. She can see the muscles jumping in his jaw and Alora knows she has very little time to diffuse the bomb that is her boss.

fun facts about GemCYT Sub-Zero Dan (Larimar/Blue Diamond)

I need to feed my followers with more stuff on this au while I get the 1st chapter out because I’m a procrastinator so here:

-Dan can shift between Larimar and Blue Diamond at free will (obviously.) That being said, Dan can and will shift into the other form by accident. He shifted into BD before in the Sub-Zero group’s rebel base, and the shift has an hour or so cooldown on average for him, so being the giant Diamond he was, he was stuck in that little space for a whole hour. Thankfully, nobody was there most of the time and the only person who saw this was Justin, who laughed his ass off before helping him get unstuck.

-Dan’s Larimar ice powers are mostly controlled, but they can sometimes be triggered emotionally or subconsciously. He will freeze up at any extreme emotion like sapphire.

-He can use Larimar powers in his diamond form, but not the other way around since his Larimar form can’t handle diamond powers.

-He has a cold immunity, but is more sensitive to heat.

-As much as he respects Rose Quartz or Lizzy as a rebel, he still fears her. She’s the one gem he won’t spar with because she will kick his ass and he knows.

-due to his gem being larger than everyone else, he’s by far the heaviest of the group, which baffles everyone because his gem looks small on the surface in his Larimar form.

-He didn’t know what sleep was until James (ThxCya) taught him. He tried it and was conked tf out for at least a day and a half.

-He can play acoustic guitar. James taught him and he’s basically a prodigy now.

-Dan doesn’t trust Squid (a Lapis) to carry him while he’s flying at all. Squid sometimes picks him up anyway just to screw with him.

-not so much when he’s a diamond, but as a Larimar he’s afraid of aquamarines. Yes that includes grain when they first met. (Context: they’re small and fly around and are harmful nuisances like vexes in Minecraft) (Gotta work in Dan’s MC Hardcore Vex death ptsd into every universe muahahahaha)
