you know im trying my hand at youtube video things... i might write something about the daughter sasha in this movie and how it seems like the movie promotes conversion therapy.

also yeah those scenes & the gender essentialism triggered me quite some. i had to pause and go on a 30 minute rant.

but uhm it's not all bad! i enjoyed the campiness, and especially ken. i want his gender so badly. i need his entire wardrobe.

anyway if you want a movie that does the whole "struggling mother and estranged queer daughter" thing but in a not completely horrible way, watch everything everywhere all at once. yeah, the daughter doesn't get conversion therapied into being more gender conforming by magical pink barbie road trip in that movie, she actually gets to have a personality and feelings and a point of view.
