It doesn't matter which Azula slash ship it is, they're all better if they written as Azula and her girlfriend being psychologically damaged murder-buddies.

Azutara? Better when it's Azula and Katara being psychologically damaged murder-buddies.

Tyzula? Better when it's Azula and Ty Lee being psychologically damaged murder-buddies.

Azuki? Better when it's Azula and Suki being psychologically damaged murder-buddies.

Tophzula? Better when it's Azula and Toph being psychologically damaged murder-buddies.

Maizula? Better when it's Azula and Mai being psychologically damaged murder-buddies, and one of the best things about the Maizula community is that the majority of authors actually realize that.

We can name this the Yuezula rule, after the one lesbian ship which is an exception. Yuezula is best written when it's Azula and Yue being being psychologically damaged princesses.

Does anyone have any suggestions of romantic comedies I could potentially adapt for Azutara?

You know I just realized something, but Azula (partially) gets the Yoda treatment in your fic “it’s a blessing and a curse”. I means she’s the smallest of the dragons, nor is she the strongest, but Azula is probably the fastest and the most powerful Fire bender of the bunch (sorry Ozai but you know it’s true).

I also have a question, say Katara marries Azula when the curse is still active, would she become some sort of water, ice, and/or frost dragon? Same thing with Sokka and Zuko?

Azula isn't the strongest firebender YET but she will become the strongest. She's already the fastest though because she's smaller and slender, especially when she's younger she's a very fast little dragon.

I don't want to give too many spoilers but yes. I do plan on having Katara and Sokka became dragons alongside Azula and Zuko. The final (two?) chapters will be kind of a leap into the future where we get to see the two ships get married, have kids and will also see Katara and Sokka adjusting to being part dragon now. That being said, I don't know what kind of dragons they'll be. Now that you say water, ice/frost I kind of want to give them an ability aside from firebreathing, both to show off their WT roots and to show that the curse can adapt.

If your sapphic ship has never tried to kill each other, or at the very least hated each other, is it really valid?

no matter the ship, i love the trope where toph can sense who has a crush on the other bc of their heartbeats. They'll be stuttering through a convo and she'll just be there like I Know What You Are.
