Lmfao. 2023 and y’all don’t find it weird that every time a new rp pops up in this dry ass tag that it suddenly has a six page dissertation written on how problematic it is and how you should avoid it? And it’s always spearheaded and backed up by the white gay brigade? Like y’all not the least bit suspicious? Oh, it’s just me? lmaooooooooo. okay. enjoy y’all “community” (or lack thereof). stay blessed.

"Imagine what their families would be going through!" Sure, weeping their loss I guess. But unlike us they also still have an obscene amount of wealth in their hands and would likely make sure it stays in their hands at the expense of many working class people. The kid is literally the only one I feel bad for and not much for that because he's my age and I myself am a working class pakistani teenager.
Why are y'all "eat the rich" until it actually comes to the eating part? Did nobody realize that if we french revolution this shit as so many suggest we do, the people we'd kill would have families and friends too? So many tragedies caused by them in the world and that thought makes you queasy?
They are, in fact, humans too. Humans that are capable of alot of cruelty. Their death is infact a loss of human life and it's absolutely fucking hilarious that you picked now to realize that. So what now? Are you gonna fight for their rights? Rehabilitate them? Loser.
Just say you don't truly want to eat the rich and go. You may want wealth redistribution and equity, but you don't want to get your hands dirty to do that. There's no shame in admitting it, just know that you won't be making that big of a difference.
Edit: It came to my attention that the 19 year old was reluctant and terrified at entering the submersible and confided in his aunt about it. He may have been an adult but clearly did not deserve dying because of his father on fathers day, he had an ounce of self preservation unlike his idiotic old man but went there for his approval anyway.
The rest? Fuck em.
Another edit: So apparantly the news source that reported the above was sketchy so idk

they all need therapy but who will struggle to function as an adult without professional help.
Aang and Finn have been in episodes/movies/series where they are healthy functioning adults, but the spirit of the poll is asking if they got therapy before/after their childhood adventures and how much they needed it.

Alright so I am really into the Lucerys putting Aemond in his place agenda right now (blame five stages of grief for that one it’s been consuming me) and I can’t help but think that he would constantly remind Aemond that despite being a prince, he does not behave like someone of their House.
Like, Aemond and his siblings look the part. They all ride dragons, they all have the Targaryen look. But that is the thing. They just look like Targaryens.
Because it is not to the Gods of Old Valyria they pray to. It is not black and red they wear. It is not High Valyrian the lenguaje they feel most comfortable speaking.
Alicent’s children may bear the dragon’s name, but they are more Hightower than they could ever be Targaryen, and Lucerys does not hesitate before saying so.
“You speak of my parentage, but I at least know and honor the traditions of my House. The only thing that makes you different from the common folk is your tainted dragon blood.”
It drives Aemond mad with rage — because a part of himself can’t help but think that Lucerys is right.

There are a lot of people on the internet who come specifically to rage bait simply because their own lives are pathetic, empty, and boring and this is a way they've learned to get attention. And the sooner a lot of you all realize that, the sooner you'll be able to have a measure of actual fun in this fandom.

i think everyone who is reblogging that post about how horrible and creepy and fucked up it is to speculate about someone being possibly trans needs to
1) think about why/when these speculations are being made. context matters. are they harassing or crossing boundaries of anyone specific/an actual concrete person, or simply making comments to themselves, to friends, or in a general open online area.
2) ask yourself if it is actually so bad and harmful to say someone could be trans.
3) ask yourself if these speculations about transness actually uphold gender norms. does being trans upholds gender norms. is a trans woman reinforcing stereotype if she wears makeup, or is a transmasc reinforcing stereotype if they get top surgery. why do trans people, especially trans women, do these things. if these actual actions are okay for trans people to do as their form of gender expression, then is this actually bad to simply speculate about.
4) ask yourself if you've heard this shit before like. does this at all bring to mind how straight people found it offensive to be speculated as gay, and the subsequent gross backlash against gay people helping anyone out of the closet, and the movement of "let bros be bros" gaining more attention/priority than. yknow. simply normalizing people being gay and that not being a bad thing or an insult to think someone may be gay.
5) most importantly: who is making these speculations. is it "people" in general like the post says or is it fellow trans people, who know what it is like to be closeted with no info, no other trans people to talk to, no way to explore themselves safely until someone says something first. and is it trans people or specifically trans women, who are especially vulnerable to these things. are these trans women actually being harmful or do you view trans womens' personal speculations as inherently forceful, creepy, and invasive.
6) ask yourself why that may be.
7) be honest.
