Imagine how hurtful it must have been for Crowley to see Gabriel, the person who literally took an active part in the process of traumatising the man he loves into the mindset that he cannot be happy and free, get a happy ending. To see the man, who was one of the reasons Aziraphale haven't even acknowledged their relationship for such a long time, because they were on "opposite sides". The man who was one of the reasons they couldn't be together, even as friends, for 6000 years. The man who wanted to execute Aziraphale with a smile on his face and "shut your stupid mouth and die already" as his "goodbye". Seeing this man getting what Crowley has always dreamt of: being able to run away with the person he loves, leave Heaven and Hell behind and just be together with his beloved - in Soho or on Alpha Centauri, literally wherever, because "Heaven is wherever Beelzebub is". Crowley seeing Gabriel get it so... so effortlessly, while he has worked for it so long, nearly died because of it and still haven't been able to get that, to get the happy ending and sever all the connections with Heaven and Hell. It must have hurt like hell (most literally).

jonathan and georgina stroud have been interacting with posts on twitter about passing to another studio, which is a positive sign that they want to do something. it's unclear how much control the strouds have over this, but they're on our side.
authors like rick riordan and eoin colfer have interacted with instagram posts about the cancellation, sharing their thoughts on how it shouldn't have been cancelled.
#savelockwoodandco has reached 10k+ tweets!
keep doing what you're doing. please. keep posting, hashtagging, sharing and spreading awareness. this isn't looking as bad as it did at the start.
John Gaius: John Gaius is God the Emperor in his guise as depressed English major, and there are maybe five people in the world who actually know his name. He spends his days in a remote space station surrounded by skeletons and mementos of his dead culture, mourning the death of his homeworld with the grief and fury of a thousand suns. His hobbies include making jokes no one left alive can understand, quoting goth poetry, gaslighting his protégé, and futility trying to make his dwindling friends get along like a not-so-big happy family. So he may not be the best guy who ever lived, but this isn't the flawless heroes tournament. This is the sad boy tournament. And he has been so incredibly fucking sad for ten thousand years. He's completely alone in the universe, and it's all his own fucking fault.
Lockwood & Co. s01e08: The Mirror shows Lucy flashes of images of ghosts and some ghost-locked people including an image of Lockwood. The psychic vision makes her pass out.
A) stop pitting show vs book Lockwood and co related things against each other because they’re both great in different ways. you can obviously have a favourite or prefer something in one or the other but I’ve seen too many people hating on one or the other
B) hating on each other for having a favourite. (Big difference of preferring one though versus calling my one worse or shit etc. there yes can be things you can point out as not great to you or that you didn’t enjoy but there’s not need for blatant hate) Again it ties in with the top one
Ive just been seeing so much unnecessary bullshit. Pitting them against one another and fighting with each other doesn’t help this be a fandom of unity, it just causes more hate.
Neither is better or worse in the scheme of things it’s personal preference they’re both great in different ways because they’re two different things but related by being based on the same story!
Basically you can’t compare a sculpture to a painting they’re two different mediums but they’re both works of art (it doesn’t mean either is perfect either they’re just admired for being awesome to you!)
Thought this was so cute and had to share it on here. So glad Jonathan Stroud is interacting with the community. Hopefully it’s a good sign for our efforts and even if it’s not I’m glad he has been getting the love he deserves for writing Lockwood & Co.
IM SO SAD ITS GOING AWAY :(. but i truly do love this show so much. i saw it for the first time ever a few weeks ago and it completely blew me away. everything about it was stunning and the acting was incredible. ive never loved the songs from a musical so much and ive never felt so inspired to write or even act in something! (even though im a crew member of the shows i do…) maria bilbao, daniel yearwood, sutton foster, joe locke, and SO many more were all incredible and im so thankful to have gotten the chance to see it. I truly do hope it does go on tour some point next year too !! (also hoping my school performs it because i would LOVEEEE that)
even if the show is gone i will still be sweeney posting :-)
