I want more people to talk about how Collei and Wanderer not only parallel each other, but are also perfect literary foils.

They’ve gone through so much of the same shit. They’ve gone through most of the same hell, but they’re so different. And I don’t think many people realize how close Collei was to becoming Wanderer. The ONLY reason Collei isn’t exactly like him is because of Amber. Because she had someone to support her, someone who helped her heal.

And the opposite is also true! Wanderer could’ve become Collei! And the only reason that didn’t happen is because his Ambers betrayed him. He had people who supported him, who helped him heal, but none of them ever stuck around. And while sure, NOW he’s getting that support, he’s still extremely cynical and untrusting of Nahida. He doesn’t trust anyone to be genuine because nobody would in his shoes. But that’s also exactly how Collei was with Amber at first.

While of course I don’t think Scaramouche will ever be up-beat like Collei, I think we’ll slowly get to see his cynicism fizzle out. The same arc Collei went through during the manga.

Episode 8 has convinced me that the opening song isn’t just about how the guys feel about Miri, but also how Rei feels about Kazuki specifically.

Hey, I want to love, is this true love? Is just wanting to be loved insincere? What should I do? Oh, what should I do? As usual, the whole city is madly in love and excited. Extras like me just go home, but I’m not sulking at all. And then you appeared suddenly, as though you were ripping through those days with your smile that leaves me numb. You shattered my heart. Hey, I want to love, is this true love? Is just wanting to be loved insincere? What should I do? Oh, what should I do? How the heck should I know? I don’t know what’s going on in your head, but it’s not fair that you’re so friendly. Once again, I’m being swallowed up by your rhythm. There you go, you’ve got me wrapped around your finger again.

Their whole conversation in the car, talking about when they first started living together… they’re describing the song exactly. How Rei was alone, and had never experienced anything even remotely resembling love and affection. But then Kazuki comes blazing in and completely turns his life upside down. Kazuki immediately shows Rei that he is, in fact, worthy of receiving the love and affection he didn’t even realize he craved so much.

You didn’t matter much to me… but then you suddenly started cleaning.

I couldn’t stand watching you live like that.

I wanted to tell you to back off.

Yeah, I’ll bet.

But… it wasn’t so bad.

And now that Rei is confronted with the possibility of losing the life he’s built with Kazuki, he realizes just how much Kazuki actually means to him. And I think it’s suddenly dawning on him that he’s happy. And he’s absolutely going to do everything he can to protect his happiness. To protect Miri. To protect Kazuki.

Man im gonna say it- i hate mc. I absolutely despise any content that includes a mc or reader or y/n bcz i find them cringe.

Of course unless the mc was the author's im completely fine with them like the mc have a personality and that.

But plz- i try avoiding anything that includes mc, y/n, character X reader. And yet they still appear😭 like y'all put for example mammon angst as a tag WHEN THE WHOLE THING IN ABOUT THE FUCKING MC. WHERE'S THE MAMMON ANGST?? WHY IS IT ALL TALKING ABOUT MC BEING REPLACED OR SUM??😃😃

I don't mind if u like that content btw but i just wanted to say this cuz it's been everywhere i go and im pissed- like man i just want my brothers Bonding content🥲

Obsessed with the way that Stiles spends ALL DAY with Peter and Cora listening to the tragic story of Dereks first love. Like...it's broad daylight when that story starts, and by the time they wrap things its nighttime. Stiles didn't even really need to be at the loft either, he just showed up to check if Derek was still MIA, and then the boy stayed and listened to a whole story. Stiles Stilinski isn't usually shy about telling people to get to the goddamn point either, so you know his ass was captivated.

Half of that episode was just Stiles chilling with the Hale's, learning the first bit of Dereks tragic backstory and eating it UP.
