To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the anime broadcast, new products with new commemorative illustrations of the characters are going to be released. In addition, new GraffArt goods with chibi art of the characters will be available as well.

The traditional art of writing with a fude (brush) and sumi (black ink) is known as shodo (japanese calligraphy). Each Yu Yu Hakusho character is holding a handwritten letter in gratitude to the celebration of the 30th anniversary: 祝30周年感謝

Is Sakyo like a Lu Woh type who's such an annoying uppity twink that you just want to dig your teeth into like a chew toy and then shake your head a bunch?

THAT DESCRIPTIONS PLEASE.

a3 is such a wholesome series but after what YOU GUYS did to Lu Woh in particular i feel fearful bringing this on Sakyo 😭

and i think it's not an *unfair* comparaison tho.... Like they're both more on the reserved side, they try to take things seriously even if no one around them do, they can resort to threat of violence to motivate people while actually they care too much to really carry through with it, they're both surrounded by groups who tend to want them to loosen it up, they both tend to lecture people over what should be done, reminding them of their duty and everything....

so they do have a lot in common. I would say on the difference is that Sakyo is much more likely to actually get angry (Lu Woh, despite threatening to be, tends to be pretty lowkey), and Sakyo also doesn't hesitate to be soft when the time is right (Lu Woh, so far, has kept the Tsundere energy through everything). Sakyo is also more passionate in general i'd say, he's more in contact with his own feelings and shortcomings than Lu Woh.

So they are pretty similar i'd say, not fully obviously, especially due to the fantasy vs down-to-earth distinctions of their arcs, but they do have major draws in common here and there.

now whether it means you want to dig your teeth into him and bite him like a chew toy........ i do know people who would do that to him.

just don't hesitate i guess?

#also if you want to picture it because it's funny--#our fashion designer in a3 is Yuki who's a middle schooler who likes to wear gnc clothes in general #but is also the most sassy cutthroat person you can imagine #anyway Sakyo is stingy over budget (bc of the debt) so he's constantly trying to limit Yuki's creations #and Yuki instead is just constantly picking fights with him because he's not going to cut down on quality tf #anyway down the line they have a system where Yuki goes to negociate low price for fabric in store #and if he doesn't manage to do it with his sass alone he calls Sakyo so Sakyo does the intimidation instead #efficient system going on #i feel like it's important to picture fully the type of person Sakyo is #also once Taichi had to watch a zombie movie to learn from his role but he was too scared by it #that Sakyo got pissed at him for not being serious and basically forced him to sit down #so he would be forced to watch every bit of the movie because 'don't slack off damnit'#that's the type of person Sakyo is. I don't see Lu Woh do those things. to celebrate sakuya winning the travel outfits category (and tsuzuru finally beating the npc allegations) i'm writing a crack-ish fic based on the results and the tags on the polls (posted part of my draft here if you're curious) and i'll probably post the full thing on my main @hqissodelicate once it's done. problem is, it's probably gonna be disgustingly long. as in, i've written 2 out of 4 categories so far and it's already sitting at 6k words 🤡 i mean i miiiight cut things out while editing, but in case it ends up being like 10k words or something should i split it into two parts or just post the whole thing as it is?

tsuzuru merch for sale!!

hello everyone!! i am selling my many tsuzuru duplicates because i overestimated how many i needed for my itabags and now they are sitting in a dark cold box... so i was hoping you could give him a home!!

for orders with less than 5 items (doesn't apply to the mirror or the standees) you only have to pay for shipping. unfortunately shipping will be around $10 to $20 because i live in australia </3. tracking is included!

5 items costs $5, and any additional item will be $1.50 from that point on. the small standees are $3, and the bigger standees are $5. the mirror is $4, but it has a minor scratch that i don't know the origins of </3 (i can take a photo if you're interested).
