A LOOK BACK at Ho Joon & Jae Yoon
ROOMMATES OF POONGDUCK 304 (2022, SOUTH KOREA)
We have a third generation chaebol Ji Ho Joon (KIM JI WOONG) who is a happy go lucky playboy. His father gives him an ultimatum to curve his "wicked ways". He has to leave the house virtually penniless for two years and bring results as a team leader with a business team in a company which his father is chairman.
Ji Ho Joon needs a place to stay with 1 crucial requirement. Excellent water pressure for his cleansing showers. This starts off very badly until he decides instead of renting his own place he'll room with another guy. He arrives at Poongduck Villa.
First he meets the landlord's friend, and is scammed (more or less) out of 500, 000 won for rent and deposit.
Then he meets the actual landlord Jae Yoon (YOON SEO BIN) unaware his friend rented to this man. Jae Yoon walks in to find his new tenant on the floor in a towel (having showered and then seeing a roach) he collapses.
The two get off to a rocky start as the landlord's friend absconded with the cash paid by Ho Joon.
Initially Ho Joon leaves but unable to find a vacant hotel room he pushes his way back into the apartment of Jae Yoon.
Later the two find Jae Yoon is an employee in the new business unit to be lead by Ho Joon.
Time dissolves the relationship into friendly (ish) until the two fall madly in love with one another.

A LOOK BACK at Koichi & Mitchan (Yamada Koichi & Oumi Mitsuru
EIEN NO KINO (2022, JAPAN) ETERNAL YESTERDAY
A BL with a different premise. Two high school boys become fascinated by one another almost instantly unable to avoid one another's stares.
One of these times the popular Koichi (The Fantastic KOMIYA RIO) approaches Mitsuru (INOUE SORA) asking him for friendship. Slightly cold in the beginning Mitchan agree to eat lunch with Koichi in complete silence.
Eventually they begin talking and become close. Koichi becoming very protective of Mitchan. While walking in the rain Koichi is hit by a truck and killed. Or is he? He gets up as if nothing happened (except the neck and leg thing)
Koichi is not alive exactly...he's a living corpse unable to leave his beloved Mitchan. At least not right away. Love continues to blossom for an alive human and a living corpse.
But it's just a matter of time before Koichi has to leave his precious Mitchan.

Seeing how alot of the fanon avians kinda have also become test tube babies (experiment aus/theories), I like to think they just don't have some instincts and features a normal avian would have
-and this gives Phil, the resident canon crow, really bad uncanny valley. At first he writes it off as the others being other types of birds.
But then he finds out the others can't chirp or don't know how to preen-- he gets really suspicious. Phil writes it off with the fact they forget memories from before the island, yet it still unsettles him.
Its like a wolf seeing a domesticated dog, like a weird mockery of yourself.
