My top 5 brad Pitt movies are(not in order):
Fight club(1999)
Se7en(1995)
12 monkeys(1995)
Snatch(2000)
The Devils own(1997)
(THE BOTTOM CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR SOME OF THE MOVIES)
All five characters are very relatable to me.
12 monkeys is so underrated(the film). I dont care too much for the show, but the film is amazing. Jeffery is so cute and silly!! I got lost a couple of times, and I was so happy when I figured out Jeffery wasn't the antagonist. I knew he isnt evil
Fight club is just amazing. The plot, the characters, the script, and the twist. The ending was one of the best out of every movie I've watched. I screamed so loud when I found out what was going on, and then I had to rewatch it. I would pay anything to watch Fight Club for the first time again
Se7en wow. That movie made me an emotional wreck. It made me realize how much I love Brad Pitt and that I might be a little obsessed with him.. But se7en was amazing, it wasn't too long it fit everything in perfectly, it wasn't fast and it made me feel so many different emotions. Beautiful movie!
Snatch was amazing. Did I get confused and forget some of the characters? Yes. But did I still absolutely love the movie? Also, yes! This movie was hilarious and Mickey was such a cutie pie, silly movie🫶 I was so happy when they killed Brick top. I HATED HIM😡
The devils own.. Irish brad pitt. That's all I have to say. Kidding! When I first was watching it I saw the shooting and was interested because I hadn't read the description, I didn't know what was going on then when Frankie went and loved with Tom amd found out Tom was a cop I immediately knew what was going on!! The ending made me cry and sob omg.
I WOULD RECOMMEND ALL OF THESE MOVIES TO EVERYONE GO WATCH THEM ALL THEY ARE AMAZING!

For the recent Ask...for asks!!
Lessen known scifi/ fantasy (or a mix between the two) movies you would raccomend because they tingle a so good specific spot in the brain, that cannot-- not be watched!
OOOHOHOHOOHOHOO
☛ La Jetée (1962); a very peculiar 30 minute long science-fiction story that's almost entirely told with stills, with a narrator speaking over them to explain his predicament... If you have a solid curiosity and tolerence for oddities, it's well worth it, esp since it had such a big impact on Sci-Fi as a whole.
And after this one, you can check out Twelve Monkeys (1995), the american movie featuring Bruce Willis that was based on it, and pick up the inspirations.
☛ Moon (2009); You follow the daily life of Sam as he works for a mining operation on the moon, and gets increasingly more restless as he nears three years of solitude.
I watched this one not expecting anything and was very pleasantly surprised. It's a small movie that had a pretty modest impact on release, but I think it deserves being seen.
☛ Fantastic Planet (1973); I'm cheating a little there as I've never seen it in its entirety myself (I Gotta), AND because saying it isn't well known wouldn't be entirely correct. However, although it's rather well known by seasoned animation and sci-fi enjoyers and considered a classic by them, it still flies well below the radar of the general public, so I Have to recommend it.

You know, I've never seen any of the Deadpool movies, but I watched the trailer and I noticed Deadpool is standing in the TVA 🤨
Also, Aaron Stanford there playing Pyro again and having watched 12 Monkeys as many times as I have, I'm very excited by his inclusion.

I realize there are probably artistic reasons for doing this but I'm annoyed by color de-saturation in shows and movies. Let's give some examples.
12 Monkeys: lots of gray and brown here.
The Exorcist, 2 hot priests stare at each other in de-saturation land.
Let's compare to gorgeous show Foundation, which has color saturation and good lighting.

Viv’s Top Dystopian/Apocalypse Movies
1. Snowpiercer - 2013
The concept of an entire society having to function on a train is really intriguing to me. The large gap that perpetuates between the wealthy and the poor and the subsequent dictatorship rule echoes a deep and ugly truth that perhaps exists in our own society. It has a rock star cast and a refreshing take on the apocalyptic.
2. 12 Monkeys - 1995
This movie probably has a different meaning in the context of the current global pandemic. This movie shows that the insane are perhaps the most sane people of all. The acting is awesome (my fave Brad Pitt role) and gets at issues of time travel and man-made destruction.
3. Interstellar - 2014
If you thought Inception was a mindf**k, buckle up for this Nolan film. Through chaos, space travel and a mission to save mankind, I’m sure you’ll have to view this movie a few times before the real message really comes into view. I feel as though this movie could perhaps be studied and debated in a Philosophy class.
4. Children of Men - 2006
This movie has a surprising relevance into the question of a deadly virus and immigration (refugees). I haven’t seen this movie in a long time but plan to revisit it very soon in the context of COVID.
5. Tenet - 2020
Another Nolan masterpiece! Although the concept is a little hard to grasp initially, once you discover the flow of time this movie becomes truly visionary. As well, I think the duo of Washington and Pattinson was really well casted, their partnership seemed genuine and gave that extra oomph at the end.
6. Bird Box - 2018
I love how this movie really seems to reflect the sentiment that ignorance is bliss. In a world where you could be killed if you look at the reality of your situation, but are in a constant and disturbing fear when shutting the danger out.
7. Mad Max: Fury Road - 2015
Honestly, still don’t really know what the hell was happening throughout this movie. However, the visual effects and acting are all spectacular and add a dash of kick-assery to your movie watching experience.
8. Gattaca - 1997
In a world where everyone is extraordinary, maybe it’s good to be the ordinary. Everyone’s hot and it’s an interesting concept that this movie pursues via an alternate reality.
9. Legion - 2010
This movie shows the horrific reality of what the birth of a Messiah would look like in the modern day. But, imagine that with free running demons and the apocalypse happening just outside the window of your favourite diner.
10. The Lobster - 2015
Funny story, me and my friend decided to watch this cause there was literally nothing else on Netflix and we’re enraptured but completely gobsmacked but the plot of this movie. There is something inherently likeable in the characters even if you can’t really follow the rules of this particular society.
