Introducing the Sky Sound Collection!

What is it? The sound collection is a repository of background noises and sound effects recorded from Sky: Children of the Light. It is free to use for all kinds of creators, and no credit is needed to use them (though it would still be greatly appreciated).

How can I access the collection? The collection itself can be accessed through this MEGA drive, however I would still recommend visiting the main site itself. The site contains specific notes about each sound, which you may find helpful.

Can I contribute to the collection? Yes! You may make requests for sounds or fill in requests on the sound bounty board. More details on those are included on the site.

I have more questions! You can leave a reply in the notes or contact me via other valid methods. I will try to get back to you in a timely matter :}

Sanguine Sky: Chapter 2 Pt. 1 is OUT! [Public Update]

Hello! I'm happy to announce that Chapter 2, Pt. 1 is out! The update contains 27k words (excl. code).

Important note: it's best to delete all old saves and start over, as I've added new variables and changed old ones.

What awaits you in the update:

Another haunting dream that raises more questions than answers.

A conversation with your sister that sheds light on your past. Define why you attended the police academy, learn how your and your sister's paths parted, and why she returned to Fallenmor again.

Another conversation with your sister about your love life. Or, for those who aren't pursuing a romance with anyone, an opportunity to learn more about upcoming life events.

A meeting with Mr. Mosley, the father of the second victim.

A face-to-face meeting with the rest cast of the ROs: the CID team that was sent by higher forces to investigate a murder, and the investigator hired by the Regional Police Headquarters.

An opportunity to try to assert the right to an investigation or the option to choose to continue to follow protocol.

Learn more about what's going on and find out what Morgan has to do with it.

The CID team's POV about their true reason for staying in Fallenmor and how it may be related to you, the detective.

Total word count: 47k words (excl. code) | 56k words (incl. code).

I hope you'll enjoy the update! Chapter 2 Pt. 2 is well underway, and I hope to be able to finish and release it by the end of March or early April on Patreon.

What awaits you in the update:

Two activities with the CID team to choose from: ▹Question the janitor who found the body with R. ▹Head to the morgue to find out more information about the victim with T and I.

An opportunity to spend more time with the CID team members, depending on the activity chosen.

Three activities after the end of the work to choose from: ▹Confront Morgan about the whole situation. ▹Talk to K and try to learn more about the CID and the investigator. ▹Stay in the office to sort through boxes of stuff after moving to your mentor's new office, and dive into a Klemens-related flashback that will shed light on what happened to your aunt. ▹Or just go home after a very long work day.

A conversation with your sister about what was bothering her in the morning (optional).

A phone call with L at the end of the day: different scenes for romance/friendship path (optional).

Jealousy choices and parts of the narrative for both the MC and the ROs.

Optional RO's POV scenes for K and L.

A special extra scene for those who plan to romance R or I.

Total word count for early-release demo: 92k words (excl. code).

In addition to the update, two short stories will be released on Patreon this month:

The office gossips about the detective's relationship with K.

I have to post the chapter on Sunday at noon instead of the usual Saturday noon folks.

Their was a file issue this week, (seems to have to do with the windows update or something like that) and I had to redraw a lot of progress. Making this chapter a little late. I am so sorry!

playing sky is like. even innocent children cannot escape the horrors of capitalism. if we continue to overproduce we will bleed ourselves dry of resources. war is hell. our only chance at redemption is through each other. progress takes sacrifice, peace can cost you everything. whoever survives after the apocalypse will only ever be able to puzzle together the echoes of our stories left behind in stark relief in the spaces we used to call home.
