Something I find interesting is that Bad always has always played a bit of the fool when the Federation is involved. He pretends he doesn't understand things, he pretends furniture is enough to distract him from anything (sometimes it does, but other times he is clearly playing it up), he says he doesn't know how he got into this secret room, etc. He stays as neutral as possible without siding with them.

And for a while that seems to work. They keep using furniture to distract him. They never punish him even when he shows up in a Federation building, because he's just a silly guy and doesn't know how he got here.

But... Someone at the Federation has noticed. And the reason we can know this is because of the survey and the reward.

A lot of people have been given tasks recently, and they have all received the rewards that were offered to them. Everyone except Bad, who got scammed out of his initial reward and instead given a lot of furniture.

BUT! The fact that he was offered the question as a reward in the first place says a lot. It says the Federation knew that it needed to offer him a reward that would be enough to entice him to do the task (like the trident for Philza, and spawn eggs for Forever, etc.), and what reward did they deem suitable for BadBoyHalo? Answers. Answers to absolutely ANYTHING he could ask them.

It was an insane reward to offer, completely disproportionate to the task that was being requested of him. But apparently this was the only reward the lower case Cucurucho, Osito Bimbo, calculated would be enough to motivate Bad to do a task for him. It had to offer something INSANE to convince Bad to work for the Federation.

When he was given the furniture, the book that apologised for the confusion was in upper case. The original Cucurucho saw what was offered and pulled back, going with it's old reliable technique of distracting him with nice furniture instead. After all, Bad is silly, Bad is gullible, give him some shiny furniture and he'll give up on anything.

But that means... Osito Bimbo has not fallen for Bad's ruse. Osito Bimbo didn't even consider offering furniture - the offer was an answer to any question, because Osito Bimbo calculated that was the reward that would get Bad to cooperate.

Just interesting what this could be saying about the Cucuruchos and how they view Bad differently...

Certified Ari moment. he’d do that for SURE. dumb cat. and now i think they will hang out at the rising stones for the next few weeks before going off on more adventures. what a good game. I kind of want to play it all again AJAGSJFNKS the only time that’s ever happened before with games that aren’t like, Mario kart, is with kh3! Truly. certified game ever

i know there’s a case to be made for daring suffering some character flanderization in his later appearances, but i like to think the break up with lizzie was just THAT bad.

What ive learned about the yakuza community is that you guys are way too hung up over that scene in y4 where he pinned haruka to the ground then started panting really heavily , that didnt happen for me , that scene wasnt real to me i forgot about it.

wuwa day 2: was nearly done my first boss battle when i apparently moved slightly out of bounds and had to restart with the boss back at full health 🤦 kind of a dumb mechanic but whatever, got some extra practice in i guess. i'm starting to get the hang of the combat system and i reaaaaally like it! having parry and perfect dodge mechanics, combined with the quick swapping, makes it very satisfying 😌

WIP Game

Bringing back the WIP Word Count Game because I have a big trip at the end of the month and I want to write a bunch of Dale now so I don't have to get a lot done or go on hiatus while on my vacation.

So, send me a number between 50 and 200 and I'll write that many words for Dale and post a sentence or two from what I wrote!

Now that I have managed to properly put into my own thoughts and feelings on reload and these new canon materials. My post does contain spoilers for some of the materials, so be warned if you are actively playing through reload.

(an update to an old Headcanon) In the topic of Ryoji's social link and the whole confession that he give to Minato. I am still keeping it, in one of my oldest headcanon, I had said that Minato would realize he's bi/pan after spending time with Ryoji but never confess his feelings to him (alongside his romantic feeling for aigis). I am still keeping that, even when Ryoji confesses his feelings to him. He does go from being shock at first, but as anyone who has played / watched. The two get interrupted by Fuuka, so he didn't get to give Ryoji a proper answer and unfortunately he never goes through with giving Ryoji an answer, due to the news of who Ryoji is and what will be happening within a month.

Minato never bump into Takaya, I was really disappointed with how reload handled it. I felt that It didn't add much into the grand schema of things. I thought that maybe it'll be almost to the same level as adachi's social link, so I was disappointed when that wasn't the case. I simply don't think it's worth it for my character's portrayal.

The new OST reload has, will be acknowledge too, alongside the original OST. The only difference, is that he may prefer one version of a song over another but overall he may be seen talking about them or listen to them.

With the topic of the new gear S.E.E.S receive. I debated over it whether or not I will accept them into my portrayal, I don't dislike them anymore, as I had gotten used to them when I playing the game. However, after thinking over it more, they didn't bring much to the table in term of lore. ( It was clear, they were there to give a new gameplay like P5R had going with the show time. ) Cause of it, I'm not going to accept it into my canon.

the lotus pier of jiang chengs childhood is gone, its disciples and vendors, even its stray cats ran off or died in the fires. but the world repeats itself in funny ways and as the years go on from its rebuilding some of the things he remembers come back. one day jiang cheng notices that the shimeis use the same pond as their predecessors to get away from the boys, without having ever met them, the new merchants that move into town find themselves laying out their stalls in the same formation, he finds a stray with her kittens tucked away into the same corner as the cats from his childhood had used, despite the whole area having been burnt and rebuilt. his youngest disciples sit in the same corner of the food hall, the older ones find the same inns to drink at, the teens still dare each other to jump from that one tree into the lake. the lotus pier of his childhood may be gone, his parents, sister and brother too, but things have a funny way of repeating themselves that are both excruciatingly painful and warm at once.

After spending way too long futzing with things, I have finally turned the in-game reflections back up to maximum insanity (with no FPS hit, sweet!) Now it looks like C2-N2 dunked his head into a giant bucket of metal polish. Perfection.

Reminder that Lucas WAS a part of the Hellfire Club and he DID know Eddie, so he WILL be affected by his death, just like Dustin and Mike will be.
