It's Tuesday and I'm already having to have a town meeting with myself about realistic productivity. I started this day at 4am. Normally, from 4-630 is just quiet time, writing, reflecting, reading. Today, it was First Proof for my job, accounting, and holiday prep.
Thankful everything is going smoothly, but I'm worn out mentally and a little worn out emotionally just from trying to keep one too many projects in the air. There is just a lot of focus switching today. I'm hoping tomorrow will be a little calmer, but I still have to start early while my brain is freshest.
But, I flavored the day with Christmas music, and I'm about to go enjoy some WW2 and Leverage to wind down.

This is for the people who didn’t party in their teens and twenties. For the people who didn’t have that “coming of age” movie experience with shenanigans and revelations. This is for the people who mostly keep to themselves. Who maybe prefer things to be quieter and gentler. This is for the people who don’t feel like they belong in a culture that values loud parties and flashing lights. I see you. And you are valid.

Last summer I was on a very expedited acid come up at a music festival and my entirely unaware mother thousands of miles away was at costco and texted me incredulous at how they already had halloween stuff out for sale in the summer but all I saw was a message preview of a giant 10 foot tall skeleton with glowing eyes and "can u believe it??"

parce qu'on s'est crié des mots qui ont sali tous nos plus beaux dessins, on a hurlé des chaudières d'encre noire sur le bonheur
j'expose ma tête, mes yeux, mon cœur et mes mains
si tu reviens
something quiet, gentle, and romantic for today. I’ve been assured it’s suggestive enough for @goodomensafterdark ‘s smut war, so enjoy this soft interlude with suggestive tummy ❤️
