hi, i don’t know how this will make you feel so i apologize if it doesn’t make you as happy as i think it might. but i’m a high school english teacher, and i make friday’s poetry friday. so each friday we read a different poem and discuss it, whether it be academic or just how it makes the students feel. i read one of your poems with my class today and we discussed it. some of them really loved it and i thought you should know that. i read the one that starts with “so if i live & if nothing changes… i am taking my heart with me.” :)

Seriously though, I didn’t realize how bad it was oh my god!!!

It was the same thing with my hands, I would read and hear about people experiencing the same things, but I wouldn’t connect the dots that other people were experiencing those symptoms in a more intense situation

So I’d be like “yeah, I’m out of breath and experiencing heart palpitations and kinda wheezy after power walking, everyone experiences that”

I did not realize other people weren’t experiencing those symptoms immediately

Like the second I’d start rushing, I’d be out of breath

After getting my inhaler today, I’ve been rushing all over campus today, and I can still breathe???? what the fuck???

No wonder my doctor took this so seriously, I can actually get to class without pain oh my god this is the best my lungs have felt in awhile, I’m breathing??? oh my god???

Anyways!! For now I just have a “rescue inhaler” to see if it’s just exercise induced asthma, and then in a month I go back to see if this is all I need, or if maybe I need a higher dosage, or an inhaler for regular asthma, or both inhalers, etc
