Personally, I've been curious about your eldritch au you've mentioned once or twice... but that might be because I'm a Duckett for that kind of stuff lol
Ah, no worries! I don't mind answering any questions you have!
So, for the 👾Eldritch AU, let's pick X-Men Evolution as the chosen media. The adults are way older than the kids, for one thing. Victor and Logan would be the oldest, but instead of being about 200 years old like in canon, in this they would be closer to something 200,000,000 years old. The other adults would likely range between 160,000,000 to 20,000,000 years old. Very old, older than most countries, and definitely older than the kids combined.
Now, for the teens and Reader, they are, well... pretty close to baby eldritch beings. They still appear mostly human, but for the teens, they are more in-tune with their powers, and have the adults to protect them and raise them (the adults view them as very young. Wouldn't leave them anywhere near humans unless those humans are their cults, followers, or harmless/powerless to them. You can bet that Logan and Ororo are Team Dad and Mom, with Xavier as kindly Grandfather and Hank as the polite, secretly fun Uncle/Dad. Magneto and Mystique are better parents in this au, but are very, very protective. Victor is still mostly himself, but has a soft spot for some of the kids...
Now, about the Reader: They aren't aware they are a baby elder god. They weren't aware those were real, or that there would even be others... They know they are... odd..., but they figure it is just an illness. A hallucination. Their dreams are even stranger, of things they've never seen before and beings that border between human and beast and element and who knows what else, whispers of things they never remember when they wake up. Yet one day, they end up moved into a small town, between New York and Canada, and realize this town they're in is... weird. Unsettling levels of weird. People act strange... sharp grins, manic eyes, and strange beliefs of local monsters and spirits, it seems...
It doesn't take long for the adults to realize that the new human isn't a human at all. It's a baby of their kind. And they're quite pleased. One thing they've done is send dreams and visions to any eldritch beings out there, a beacon to bring them closer to their home... It acts as a way of drawing in the baby eldritches, so the adults can offer protection (and a town full of over-protective and over-zealous humans, to act as guards and sometimes food/sacrifices, if needed/wanted). Of course, trying to get Reader to one of their altars, somewhere they can make their claim over them, is easier said than done. They're a rather skittish kid, and anything pertaining to what they are or the horrors of the town are like repellant to them. Yet, their kids are determined... They have wanted a new friend (and maybe sibling), for awhile, and the Reader looks like a good fit to them. A new personality, and someone they have to work for to keep. And Reader slowly befriends them, albeit thinking they are a little odd... but, the teens aren't anywhere near as creepy or stilted as anyone else in that sleepy town, so if for once someone wants to be their friend, they'll try...
When one of the adults is finally able to draw Reader out to one of their altars (by a dream/hallucination that has them not realizing where they're going), they're ready to introduce themselves properly this time. They have met before, in their human guise, but never as they truly are... And it's about time to explain what they are, and what Reader is... The moment Reader realizes they are in the woods in the dead of night, they're freaked out. Only for something, something they've only ever seen in their dreams, to appear... Then they promptly run.
The adult/s is/are able to stop them, but not after chasing them half-way back to the Reader's house by the edge of the woods and town... Being able to finally slow them down leaves their newest kid a trembling mess, one who really does look like the young eldritch child they are... Explaining what they are doesn't take too much effort, and Reader is now gifted answers, some they definitely didn't want. When they try to leave, asking if things can go back to normal, well... they are met with a big NO. The adult/s want to make a claim, to have Reader as THEIR kid... and they are unswerving in that goal...
So now Reader has to deal with the knowledge of what the town truly is, that their friends and their parents/guardians are something beyond comprehension, and that they're not able to leave, no matter what they do... The adult/s do go about settling them in, yet have to more times than not ... sedate... their newest child. They're gentle, but they also realize this one kid in particular is stubborn about not staying, of being scared of them, of the safe haven they've made... But, it isn't much issue to keep them close... Some love and care will do them good, along with whatever powers they can use to calm them...
It is what any parent would do for their baby...
(The teens and Reader do still get along, agreeing that the adults can be over-protective. However, the teens are okay with their parents/guardians for the most part and having Reader with them, while Reader is... not okay with it. Cuddling between the adults and kids happens. Whether in human form or eldritch deity form...)
(I hope you enjoyed this! Ask anymore questions you want, and have an awesome day!💛😊)

chapter V - HOPE next
remember when i said i will have finished part I by the end of the year? i lied,,,
tw: canon typical violence, mentions of psychological distress, reader is still a minor in this chapter!
word count: 960
Next day's morning you have reached the outskirts of the Capitol. You didn't get enough sleep last night and it shows. After you have finished watching the Games and went back to your room you found another video materials stacked on your bed. It left you wondering - who have put them there. The learning materials consisted of basic first aid videos and information you found surpassingly helpful - like how to treat knife wounds. Needles to say you have only slept for two or three hours before you were woken up by Wiress. You haven't interacted with her at all but she was kind to you even though she has seen through your lies.
At breakfast you couldn't concentrate well and did not participate in the conversation, preferring to focus on eating and getting some sweets for later. The sun rays illuminated the dining car creating a beautiful scene - people dressed beautifully, chatting and eating as much as they wanted to. A scene with so much contrast to the ordinary life in the Districts. Beetee and Wiress are probably used to this kind of life by now, having lived it most of their lives. Not mentioning your District Escort, originating from the Capitol who is yet to show up - but she does not seem to care at all. You are pouring yourself a fruit juice when you notice Xavier drinking something way better.
"Is it hot chocolate?" You ask with your eyes wide. "Can I have some?" You are very excited as it reminds you of your home. Taking the hot cup in your hands you think about the old times, when your father was more than just a fading memory. You take a sip of it. It is much sweeter than you remember, not drinking it for ages and eating less sweets in general has changed your taste buds. It's deep taste brings you back to the time when your family was richer than average and not broken. But those times will never come back and your mother and sisters are going to sink into more misery soon. The others still chat and you cannot tell what's the topic. You need to close your eyes for a moment to feel better.
Squeezing your eyes shut you loose yourself in your own thoughts. You can't bring yourself to hate Beetee and Wiress. They haven't brought any tribute home but it is not exactly their fault. Kids from your district are always considered as an easy pray. Maybe they are better nourished than those from the outer district but they always seem to lack that wild spark in them and in general they are the ones that consider themselves dead first. They never seem to score much in their presentations or stand out during the interviews. Your Districts boring theme and untalented stylists don't help in making you favorites even among your own people in Three. The best they can wish you is quick death as they got their fingers burned once to many times - when someone seems to be brilliant and design intricate plans they end up butchered up like animals few days later.
What breaks you out of your trance is the brutal comment you hear. "Being absolutely honest with you two, I would say Xavier has a higher chance to survive than our usual tributes," says Beetee adjusting his glasses. "That is, if he manages to install some traps and not get ambushed in the process." You begin to be furious as this is blatant discrimination of you. You want to stand up and start a fight but you try your best as not to show your true feelings, instead you are clenching your fist and digging up nails in your palm. "The boy can fight and is smart and you can help stay alive. I'm sorry but the best solution here is you two team up and then split as not to fight each other," he looks genuinely sad, which surprises you - just a second ago he confessed that he seems you as not more than a needed sacrifice.
"But —" You breath in and breathe out. "What if I have a better idea?" They look at you with curiosity. You don't have any idea what to say but suddenly everything goes black. You have to make something up quickly, but this one time Capitol seems to be your savior. You are entering it through the tunnel and everything is very loud in the carriage.
The Capitol emerges by the end of the tunnel and it is truly breathtaking. It is grand and majestic, with the buildings reaching the clouds. You have never seen anything like that and the water reflecting the city makes the scenery even more beautiful. If not for the people who live there you could imagine it as heaven. You and Xavier are glued to the glass until the train stops. You have reached your final destination and some people are waving to you from the platform. You shyly wave back overwhelmed and shocked by their unusual hair, clothing and mannerism. Unfortunately for you two, when another train enters the station the people seem to lost interest in you as they hurry to meet up other tributes which they deem to be more desirable - Careers. You have to win those people somehow as you know how crucial they and their gifts are. You know that you are meeting with your stylists later today. They have to make you look like a goddess. Until then you have to come up with the plan you will share with Xavier and your mentors. You begin to despite that boy, as everything seems to come easy to him.

This is kinda sloppy, sorry, I've been having a lot of writer's block lately and I just wanted to get this one out.
Big warnings for nasty nasty sex in this one, leaning into the pseudo-incest/stepsiblings thing (although if that isn't your bag, I'm not sure why you're reading this fic).
---
You were resting your forearms on the kitchen table. You couldn’t meet your dad’s eyes, so you stared down at the mug of tea warming your hands instead.
“Sweetheart,” he murmured. “What’s wrong?”
“Me and Peter got into a fight,” you said dully. In your peripheral vision, you saw your dad sharing a look with Erik.
“What about?”
You took a deep breath, fighting back the urge to cry again. “He was upset because I lost track of time while working on my assignment and didn’t have dinner, and then it devolved into a whole thing about how I’m stressed about college and then he told me that he was dropping out of college and I got mad because he’s already making sacrifices for me, and he shouldn’t have to…” You trailed off. Charles and Erik were both staring at you. “It’s… stupid. I was being stupid and emotional.”
Your dad’s hand covered yours. “Look at me,” he said softly, and reluctantly, you complied. “You’re having a baby. Sometimes being a parent means making sacrifices. You’re not stupid for being upset.”
You sniffed, wiping at your eyes. “I know. I’m just so tired of it all. I have assignments due and it’s hard to focus on anything when I have a whole human being growing inside me.”
“Speaking of which,” Erik interrupted, “did you say you hadn’t eaten?” You nodded. He let out a deep sigh. “Y/N, you need to eat.”
To everyone’s surprise, you chuckled at that. When Erik gave you a questioningly look, you said, “You sound just like Peter.”
You sat in silence for a little while, drinking your tea slowly while Erik fixed you a plate of leftover lasagne. The quiet was broken by Erik’s phone ringing. He set the plate down in front of you and answered it.
“Dad?” Through the tinny phone speaker, you heard Peter’s voice.
“Hello Peter,” said Erik, walking away from you and stepping out into the hallway. You could still hear him, but you couldn’t hear what Peter was saying. “Yes. Yes, I know. She’s here with us. She’s okay. And yes, she’s eating dinner now. Okay. I’ll see you soon.”
You stared down at the plate of food. The smell was making you feel nauseous – a lot of food did that these days – but you forced yourself to pick up your fork and start eating.
“Are you alright?” asked your dad. He’d been watching your facial expressions carefully.
“Sick. But hungry at the same time.”
He grimaced sympathetically. “It’ll pass.”
“More?” offered Erik when you had finished your plate.
You shook your head. “Thanks, but I’m still feeling a bit… off.”
“What about that leftover cake, Erik?” said your dad, giving his husband a meaningful look.
Your eyes lit up. “I could definitely go for some cake.”
“Coming right up,” said Erik.
There was a sharp knock on the door. You knew it was Peter before Erik answered it. The knock’s franticness was a dead giveaway.
When Peter appeared in the kitchen doorway, his eyes fell on you immediately. He was soaking wet, his hair plastered to his face. You offered him a weak smile and he dropped to his knees in front of you, grabbing your hands.
“Don’t fucking scare me like that,” he said softly, looking up into your eyes.
“I’m sorry,” you said, your voice cracking.
“No, no, don’t cry.” He moved into your space and you wrapped both arms around his neck, hugging him close. “It’s okay. It’s all okay.”
“No, listen.” You pushed him back just far enough to look him in the eyes. One of your hands rested on his shoulder, the other was entwined with his. “I am sorry. I was just stressed out about my assignments and my clothes don’t fit and I feel like I’m dragging you down, and I took it out on you.”
“Baby,” he said softly, cupping your cheek with one hand. “How could you ever drag me down? You’re the most incredible, smart, beautiful person I know. You’re way out of my league.”
You chuckled, wiping your eyes. “Bullshit.”
“It’s true. What can I say?”
“I love you.”
“I love you too.”
He pressed his forehead against yours. From the doorway, Erik cleared his throat, and the two of you broke apart.
“Have you eaten, Peter?” he asked.
“No, I’m ravenous.”
“Alright, come sit down. I’ll fix you a plate.”
It was well past midnight now, and you were exhausted, but you sat with Peter as he scarfed down his own plate of lasagne and asked for seconds. Erik served you the promised tea and cake, and the sugariness was precisely what you were craving. You rested your hands on top of your belly, comforting yourself. You hoped the baby had enjoyed the lasagne more than you had.
“So, Peter,” said Erik, and Peter stopped with his fork halfway to his mouth. “Y/N tells me you want to drop out of college.”
Peter swallowed and put down his fork. “That’s right.”
“Do you have a plan on what you want to do next?”
“I’ve been offered a promotion. It’s a managerial position so better pay and more flexibility in my hours, which’ll be ideal for when the baby comes. And I know what you’re thinking.” Peter looked at you at that moment, and you swallowed nervously. “But this isn’t some snap decision. I’ve been thinking about this for a long time. I even talked to the guidance counsellor about it. I know college is important to you, which is why it’s important to me that you keep going to college as long as you want to. But that was never my dream. I was never that good at school. I think I only went to college because I wanted to spend more time with you. With this promotion I can be around when you get home in the evenings. I can help you stay on top of it all.”
You blinked, and tears began to stream down your face. “Pete…”
He reached out and took your hand. You squeezed his hand, trying to make him understand things you couldn’t verbalise right now.
“Well,” said your dad, making you jump. You’d almost forgotten that he and Erik were in the room. “It sounds like this is something that you have considered very carefully, Peter. If this is what you want, then obviously we’re fully behind you.”
“Agreed,” said Erik. “Do you have classes tomorrow?” he asked you.
“My first class isn’t until midday but I wanted to get an early start at the library.”
“Not tomorrow,” said your dad gently. “You need to rest.”
“I’ll drop you both off on campus in time for your first class tomorrow,” said Erik. “Alright?”
You nodded. Your tears were drying on your face now. You sniffed. “Alright.”
“And after class, I want to take you shopping for some proper maternity clothes,” said your dad. “You shouldn’t be stuck wearing clothes that are uncomfortable, sweetheart.” You nodded, looking down at your hands. “But for now, I think we should all get some sleep. The guest room is already made up.”
“Thank you,” you said. Your voice was hoarse from crying.
*
The guest room was Peter’s old bedroom. In many ways, it looked the same as when Peter lived in it, but in others, it was so different. All of the furniture was the same, but all of the posters, and everything else that gave the room its character, were gone. You were just wondering what you would wear to sleep when Peter pulled your pyjamas out of his backpack.
You gave him a questioning look. He shrugged. “When my dad told me you were here, I figured we’d be sleeping here, but you left your pyjamas and toothbrush so I brought them, just in case.”
You couldn’t help but smile at that. “You’re so sweet to me, Pete.” He grinned at you.
The two of you went into the bathroom together. You wanted to feel close to him, and it wasn’t like it was anything he hadn’t seen before. Once you’d both peed and washed up and brushed your teeth, you changed into the once-baggy pyjamas Peter had brought.
When you stepped out in the hallway, you were relieved to see that your dads’ door was closed. As much as you knew that they knew you and Peter were together, the idea of them seeing you coming out of the bathroom together was embarrassing. Peter followed you into his old bedroom.
“We’re back here again,” you said as the bedroom door clicked closed. “The first place we ever slept together.” You gave him a coy smile, but were surprised to see that he was frowning.
“We slept together in your bed first,” he said.
“I mean slept, not fucked,” you murmured, and then let out a giggle. “We fucked in multiple places before we ever slept together.”
“Shh.” He moved into your space, putting both hands on your hips. He brought his lips close to your ear. “We don’t want them to hear us.”
“Yeah, there’s no way we’re doing it with them in the house.” You pulled back the covers of the bed and slipped in. Peter turned out the lights, and then climbed into bed beside you. The only sound was your quiet breathing in the dark. As he wrapped his arms around you, you whispered, “I think about it sometimes, you know?”
“Think about what?”
“What would have happened if our dads hadn’t walked in on us that first time. If we would’ve been sneaking around and getting off with each other without them noticing.” Peter let out a slightly strained chuckle at that, and a prickle of arousal ran down the back of your neck. You latched onto it. “Oh, you like that, don’t you?”
“Shut up,” he whispered, but you knew that tone of voice.
“You like thinking about sneaking into your stepsister’s bedroom at night right under your parents’ noses and fucking her until she can’t remember her own name.”
He let out a little growl. “You’re such a dirty little slut, aren’t you?”
“You know I am.”
“Are you trying to give me a hard-on?”
“Am I succeeding?”
He grabbed your wrist and pressed your hand against his crotch. “What do you think?” Sure enough, even through multiple layers of clothing, you could feel that his cock was hard. You squeezed it and he grunted quietly.
“This all for me, big brother?” you murmured, and that’s the moment he snapped. He climbed on top of you, straddling your shoulders and pinning your arms to the mattress with his knees.
“You’ve got a really dirty mouth,” he whispered, pulling down his sweatpants and boxers so that his hard cock sprang up. “I should shut you up before you get yourself in trouble.”
“Please.” It came out as a pathetic little whimper. Authoritative Peter always got you so wet. You let your mouth fall open and he pushed his cock inside it.
One hand held onto the headboard and the other covered his own mouth as he fucked your face. You were utterly helpless, your hands pinned either side of your head, and absolutely loving it.
“Take it,” he whispered and you felt his cock penetrating your throat. You almost gagged around it but it wasn’t the first time you’d done this. You loved to get Peter a little riled up like this. You swallowed around him and watched as his eyes rolled back into his head. It only took one, two, three more thrusts before he was cumming down your throat.
He pulled back and you took a deep breath. He crowded into your space, peppering your face with kisses. You were sure he could taste himself when he slipped his tongue into your mouth.
His hand slipped between your thighs and you automatically spread your legs for him.
“Love you,” he mumbled in between kisses as two fingers began to circle your clit.
“Pete,” you moaned softly, so he pressed his lips to yours, trying to silence you.
It didn’t take long to make you cum. You hadn’t had sex for a week or two, so you had a lot of pent up energy. When you did cum, Peter covered your mouth with his hand and forced you to look up into his eyes. Your arousal had you trembling.
“How are you feeling?” he asked, withdrawing his fingers from your panties.
“Sleepy. And satiated. And good.”
“Glad to hear it.” He wrapped his arms around you. His hands rested against your baby bump protectively. The two of you fell asleep like that, holding each other.

* / The Family History : Immediate
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Vinc.ent Tho.rpe (43. Le.e Pace) and Harl.ow Spa.lding (34. Mai.ka Monr.oe) are the divorced and very estranged parents of Xavi.er Tho.rpe.
A write up about Xavier's parents I originally did months ago on a personal blog of mine which i've only lightly edited. Because I'm not a supervillain it's all under the cut.
Harlow is in the nebulous place between the Othered/Paranormal entity community and normal society as her psychic abilities aren’t something she was born with. Harlow drowned in the family pool when she was about 2 years old and ever since has been able to see and communicate with the dead and other entities. Because she’s not born with it or from an supernatural family if she’s considered an one of them or not varies on the opinions of other people — and some just think she’s flat out crazy. The real issue however is that she’s basically a big neon sign to the other side and came from a family with no knowledge or experience with the occult so her life has been extremely hard. She and her family had to learn magic and about the occult the hard way and quickly to try and keep her safe.
Fresh off killing her first boyfriend who turned out to be a serial killer trying to use her as a human sacrifice because of her abilities, Harlow (18) met Vincent (27) when he was hired by the parents of a rich girl she went to school with to help with a paranormal problem. The rich girl had previously asked Harlow to stick around the house with her because of the things going on in there and despite not even liking the girl Harlow agreed on principle. The family had actually hired several famous/well respected paranormal investigators/psychics/etc to deal with the issue at that time but only Vincent and Harlow ended up being real/up to the challenge. While he’d initially dismissed her by the end of the conflict with the demon Vincent came to respect her and offered to take her under his wing.
What was supposed to be a mentorship turned into an affair and Xavier was born. They got married but over time the marriage became strained. Harlow, now more mature and more aware of what she wanted from life wanted to pursue things that didn’t align with what Vincent wanted/was doing (wow big shocker ). Adding strain to that was how she was increasingly mentally unstable and completely untreated for her mental illness and Vincent's solution to conflict is avoidance. Which meant she didn't get treatment and her behavior got worse while he spent less time with her and their son.
Eventually it came to a head when Xavier was 7 and the two separated and began going through a VERY messy divorce. Harlow fought tooth and nail for 3 years but Vincent just simply had more cash and firepower on his side and she basically lost all custody of Xavier. Her decision to take on dangerous cases regardless of if she got any payment along with her troubled mental health history had been the final nail in the coffin had Vincent put her in. She was left broke, unable to spend really any time with her son and was publicly trashed in the tabloids.
Harlow now works as a traveling medium/exorcist/paranormal investigator type trying to help people who are dealing with things similar to the horrors she had to deal with as a kid. She and Xavier talk frequently via facetime/text/etc as she always tries to make time for him even when she’s busy on a job. She’s always been extremely supportive of him and his interests and very encouraging. She does everything she can to make sure he knows she loves him. Harlow has two full sleeves of tattoos that run from her fingers all the way up onto her shoulders where they then meet in a collar of neck tattoos. some of the tattoos are magical and for protection. Some were designed by Xavier which yes, she does brag about.
Harlow is actually a pretty good-natured but rough person. She likes alt rock and heavy metal and that whole end of things. She’s got like, “the teacher who’ll let you fuck off in class and leaves in the middle of a lesson for a smoke break” kinda energy. She lives out of a van and is basically out here like “man, who am i to judge?”. She’s also extremely safety conscious and ready for a fight 24/7.
Vincent on the other hand is someone who’s very in his own head which is what’s ended up causing so much strife for his family. He’s driven, ambitious and determined. Intentionally or not he’s very self-centered. He does love Xavier and part of why the divorce was so bitter was because he still loved Harlow and felt betrayed by it. He just you know… kinda fucking sucks and is focused on his career and doesn’t get that people like, can’t fucking read his mind and know he cares about them. and he can't read theirs and know they don’t want to live to begging for his attention. He consistently puts his work and networking ahead of his loved ones and despite the fact that he and Xavier have an intrinsic affinity because of their similar abilities the two interacting is like alien communication. Vincent has been so removed from Xavier’s life that he doesn’t even realize 90% of the time that he doesn’t know who his son actually is.
Vincent is the kind of seer who’s just so suck in the shit he’s seeing in his visions that he doesn’t really look at the present much. He’s always been a fairly introverted/internal person which has only gotten worse with time. He keeps thinking that things can wait, or he’ll have time later for personal things but then years go by without him really registering. Xavier getting assaulted and then a year later arrested and accused of murder has been big wake up calls for him but he has no fucking clue what he’s doing here. He has no idea how to talk to Xavier about it or what he should be doing about any of it and sadly his first thought is always how to do damage control for their image and not you know, how his son is. he is like, literally Cat’s in the Cradle by Cat Stevens in human form it’s very embarrassing of him.
Character inspo for Harlow: the kid from 6th Sense, every horror movie protag some demon is trying to possess or murder, John/Johanna Constantine and Sidney from Scream.
Character inspo for Vincent: Cat’s in the Cradle by Cat Stevens. literally anything I’ve ever learned about workaholic/rich/celebrity parents or famous psychics.

What are you talking about? She’s on a forced vacation because of her shenanigans. I fucking wish— Childish Jiang…
Alice is pretty important given her contributions to Teyvat. Klee, first and foremost.
The Tree That Stands Alone quest where you find treasure in Mingyun and it turns out all three sons let their greed for treasure kill them. Their dad has filled the chest each year with some mora so they could later use it to buy some stuff and reminisce about the old times except they’re all dead now. That was so sad.
A lot of the NPCs were done relatively well, I think. The world quests really hurt in a good way and definitely adds to Dain’s argument against trusting the gods. I still think we should have be able to beat the shit out of Azar.
Madame Ping for giving us the teapot. It’s taking forever to build furniture and collect wood, though. I’m almost there.
Overall, I’m pleased at the complexity and contrast (and similarities!) between the immortals and mortals in the game. It’s like “What of duty?” “What of sacrifice?” sort of thing. I admit, there are instances of bad writing in the game, but it’s… it’s a pleasant thing to explore in game and lore.
Bloom anon
*sobbing in hands* What is this thread, weren't we just simping for NPCs, how did it end up like this Bloom anon
Also sudden thought I had earlier but Gold and Alice are now girlfriends in my eyes, I am converted, baptized. But yes, here and there, even the minimal ones Genshin does put in work to make them nice and likeable, sometimes even brutal about it (except for Xavier's er second movie, I cringed so hard at the film). But yes on that, we should have been given the option to beat up or leave Azar to the forest like the guy in the Aranara quest
Even tho it fucking hurts, I love how genshin can go ham with npcs since they won't have to worry about killing them off here and there, the flavor of it all and everything. Even the tiny ones where they're just living their lives, but watching it all progress is so good. There are even some pieces where the npcs parallel characters or resemble their stories
One thing I wanna note is I hope we get back to Jeht, I'm worried for her and I really wanted to be there after the Golden Slumber quest (but also MIHOYO PLEASE GIVE ME LOREMASTER WORLD QUEST I WILL TAKE SO MANY PICTURES, KNEES ON THE GROUND)

My multiverse of madness thoughts under the spoiler cut...
I liked it a lot! I'm a big fan of Sam Rami to begin with so I already love his style especially when it comes to more horror elements.
My favorite thing, hands down, was the musical fight between the two Stranges for sure. And, of course, Reed and Xavier! If they don't use John for MCU Reed, I'm gonna be sad.
And the bit of the 90's X-men theme when Xavier rolled in, was chefs kiss.
I hope Wanda isn't dead, I think it'd be nice to bring her back for a true redemption arc (which I think is possible). I also think it's interesting to compare both Wanda and Peter's journeys as being the opposite. Both suffered great losses, both had powers given to them when they were young (and yes Wanda did have hers but she didn't know). Both of them have to make big sacrifices and keep losing over and over... it's interesting that Peter doesn't end up a villain and Wanda does. It def inspires some fics.... ;)
But overall, good film. I liked America, glad Wong had a bigger role and I totally think they are building up to Secret Wars (!!!!). :D

And now, for a rant years in the making....
The longest thing I've ever written began because X-Men First Class was such a well-acted breath of fresh air. The dynamic between Charles, Raven, and Erik really captivated and inspired me. Enough to create an ongoing series that has had more good years than bad.
Unfortunately, starting with Days of Future Past, FC's legacy was sacrificed to the creatively bankrupt egos of the very production team that ruined the X-Men film series in the first place. This, along with the misandry/racism disguised as empowerment/diversity plaguing modern media, torpedoed what could have been an amazing series. James McAvoy pulled off the impossible by cementing himself as an iconic Charles Xavier on par with Patrick Stewart. After years of Ian McKellen's hammy one-dimensional villainy, the God's gift to acting that is Michael Fassbender emerged as the definitive Erik Lehnsherr. In Jennifer Lawrence's casting as Raven, the producers took an asinine, fanfic-esque concept like making Mystique Charles' adopted little sister and pulled it off so unbelievably beautifully. Despite their limited screentime, Alex, Hank, and Sean displayed more personality and likeability than any depiction of Jean and Storm across multiple films. However, moronic Brian Singer and Simon Kinberg could not wait to destroy all of FC's good will for their own agendas.
James McAvoy portrayed Charles as spirited and slightly mischievous yet highly intelligent, altruistic, nurturing, and self-sacrificing. Then the sequels tried in forced desperation to paint him as an overbearing, elitist misogynist and the one responsible for Raven and Jean's destructive abuse of power. Even though all he did was give them a home, make difficult choices in order to protect them and others, and brought both of them onto his team due to his personal relationships and trust in them. Because women are so strong and capable except when it comes to taking responsibility for their horrible choices. No, human flaws are strictly of the Y chromosome. Charles has been abandoned his entire life, received no real support, had his body and mind mangled because of his 'best friend', yet puts everyone before himself and always forgives the undeserving. Still, the producers and equally idiotic fandom reduces him to a spoiled white male with no concept of pain or hardship.
Through extensive research and dedication, Michael Fassbender put more into portraying Erik than, quite possibly, any actor taking on a comic book role. Erik is so worldly intelligent, handsome, sauve, and masculine to alpha levels, but with a pained vulnerability about him. FC is the ONLY film to paint him in this light. According to the sequels, Erik completely abandoned the friend/brother he crippled, couldn't hold his own team together for even a year, got captured by regular humans- the strategic nazi hunter got captured by REGULAR humans for ten years, betrayed his friends who freed him at the first opportunity, took no responsibility for the unforgivable things he did to Charles, abandoned his pregnant lover, almost ruined the lives of mutants everywhere by attempting a terrorist attack on TV, then ran off with his tail between his legs once thwarted. And that was only DoFP. In the next movies, he gave up his mutant identity completely, married a regular woman two seconds after declaring war on regular humans, was a pitiful excuse for a father who couldn't train his ONE mutant child to control her powers, got his family killed by his own past actions, then went on a murder spree with a lunatic that resulted in Charles' torture, Alex's death, and the destruction of the school- with the students being saved only by Peter's coincidental presence. I'm not even going to talk about that stupid phoenix movie. My blood pressure is already to the ceiling. No wonder Michael Fassbender grew to hate his character.
Speaking of hating their own character, even Jennifer Lawrence doesn't like how the warm, familial relationship between Raven and Charles deteriorated into something so cold and bitter. Raven abandoning her devoted brother is not only never properly addressed but the sequels want to pretend like it's Charles' fault they're estranged. Raven spends their every scene being a hostile, rude ingrate towards him right up until she's killed by that monotone wet rag they call Jean. Charles is willing to sacrifice his own life multiple times for Raven but she shows more regard for her attempted murderer Erik. So, I suppose the feminist message is that a protective, peace seeking, reasonable man is too controlling and toxic but a violent, unhinged, homicidal man is worthy to be praised. That phoenix movie sure thought so, considering they completely demolished Hank McCoy.
These movies also have no care or concern for life itself. The hellfire club slaughtered an entire facility full of people and killed Darwin yet Erik and Raven jumped to join them. Then, we're supposed to care that those monsters are dead by DoFP. Meanwhile, Sean and Alex's deaths are glossed over but Raven's is supposed to be tragic and meaningful.
That brings up yet another problem with this cursed series. Mutation is supposed to be an allegory for various prosecuted groups. The producers really wanted the live action mutants to be lgbt stand-ins. I can't even begin with how insulting that is. So, Magneto's the face of the gays, huh? Meaning if other people do anything but pledge absolute loyalty to that  lifestyle, gays will react with violence and destruction, willing to kill anyone- even their own-, who gets in their way. Also, those who believe the lgbt lifestyle will lead to inevitable chaos are proven right by X-Men execs. Mutants have caused massacres of government officials, killed their own family members during uncontrolled rages, and nearly doomed the planet too many times to count. This is what gays relate to? This?! This infantilized depiction as sadistic megalomaniacs?!
Overall, FC- as engaging as it was- is a mere anomaly in the grand scheme of the X-Movies. A dour, joyless, soulless catastrophe of unforgivable discontinuity, underdeveloped characters, multiple horrid actors, outrageous missed opportunities, and nonexistence ethics with a transparent, hypocritical agenda.
I started my fic in 2011 as a way of addressing the growing racial upheaval going on in the US at the time. Ten years later and things are infinitely worse than anything I could have predicted back then. There are no intelligent conversations to be had nor heroes to look up to. The entire entertainment industry has become a battleground for the war of identity politics. Not even just fandoms arguing amongst themselves but also Hollywood creators taking the time to be aggressively insulting and dismissive of their own fans. The flames of hatred are being fanned and everyone seems so blind to it.

The 100 6x06 analysis: A night-without-blood, only tears
Tumblr media
Loved this episode. We got a glimpse of the old Bellamy, albeit small, but he was there. The pacing was better. We finally got to meet Sheidheda. And, I called it in my predictions post last week, Clarke Griffin’s coming back.
Is it weird to watch this show knowing Bob and Eliza are married? Not for me, I separate the characters from the actors easily. Just once again, I’m thrilled they found their happily ever after. Please check out the wedding gift donation.
Madi crossing to the dark side
Tumblr media
Obviously, this is the worse to come out of the whole body-snatching ordeal. Josephine couldn’t care less about her new daughter. Although Gaia is Madi’s teacher, she’s still her subordinate. Without any guidance, sweet little Heda falls straight into the exploiting claws of her evil predecessor.
I didn’t think this would rise so soon, but I fear we might have a new Bloodreina on our hands. The Sanctumites killed Madi’s mother, she will retaliate with full force and who could blame her. If you took mine for self-serving reasons, I’ll want vengeance too.
Somehow, I still think those machines strapped to her head is Josephine’s handiwork, wanting something from the flame. Or maybe it’s a way to pull Madi back from the dark hole she’s fallen into.
Either way, it looks like she’s becoming a villainous character who wants revenge and I hope she succeeds. Russel may have goodness inside, yet he still murdered an innocent person to bring his daughter back. Ryker, on the other hand, is a quizzical one.
The 100 episode 6 - Return of the cockroach
We all knew he would take that deal but, as expected, terms and conditions apply. Clarke’s dead, there’s nothing they can do about it. Teaming up with Josie means they get the Sanctumites’ help with survival and he earns eternal life.
It makes sense for him, Clarke wasn’t his favorite person and what’s done is done. Obviously, he knows convincing Bellamy will be a lot harder.
Tumblr media
That was all of our reactions. And then he goes and spoils it all by saying some stupid like it’s what Monty would have wanted. Oomf the trump card. No violence, no eye-for-an-eye, just look forward and do better. Oh, and it’s what Clarke would have wanted too.
Tumblr media
In some twisted way, he’s right. His way saves everyone else including Bellamy and the planet or moon or whatever. Both Murphy and Josephine’s manipulation this episode is vulgar yet brilliant. Richard and Eliza, you killed it.
Meanwhile, in the woods, the badass trio is being summoned
May I just highlight this line: “Forty vestil virgins and a side dish of none of your damn business.” Man, I love Diyoza too bits. And Xavier. And Octavia. And I hope Marie gets that Emmy nomination because she deserves the hell out of it.
So, Diyoza learns about Gabriel’s rebellion but refuses to join in order to save her daughter’s life. She’s not your conventional mother hen but the way she looks out for Octavia and her child is a clear depiction of her ability to care.
How did Xavier know Diyoza is expecting a girl???
There are tons of rumors that Xavier is Gabriel. I don’t think he is. Or rather, I hope he’s not. I want Gabriel to be an anomaly as much as he “lives” in one. Perhaps he can only exist inside it because of his age? But he’s calling them for a reason and I bet that reason is “death to primes” and Clarke’s resurrection.
Tumblr media
I’m still sticking to my time travel theory of Diyoza meeting Hope and Octavia facing off with Bloodreina. I’d love to see what Xavier’s battles might be. Also, I’m pretty sure these three’s journey is the conclusion to all of their problems and the Blakes’ reconciliation. The villains of earth become the heroes of Sanctum was foreshadowing, I'm certain.
Abby, wtf is wrong with you?
How on earth does she not see through the inconsistencies in her daughter’s behavior? Echo figures it out before she does for heaven's sake. And after everything they’ve done in the past, she decides it’s alright to resurrect the man she loves at the cost of someone else.
Will she resort back to drugs after this too? Clearly, she can’t deal with the thing’s she’s done. Turning Jake in. Becca’s lab. The dark year. And now she’s doing it again. All because her daughter tends to think it’s okay and doesn’t want to lose her. Open your damn eyes, Clarke would never ask you to do something that selfish.
Raven and Ryker
Can someone please shut Raven up. Her self-righteous attitude this season is sickening. She did bad things too. Asking Clarke to kill Lexa. Sacrificing Murphy so Finn could live. Refusing to give Abby medicine for radiation poisoning. Has she forgotten? But worst of all, she left the hard decisions up to Bellamy and Clarke and now she’s mad because they made them.
Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed the piece of her mind she gave Ryker. But the condescending way in which it’s done is annoying. He clearly needs to hear it and she touched where it hurts. Is it wrong to like him and hope he survives? Out of all the primes, it seems like he and Gabriel are the only ones with a conscience. Russel’s is debatable.
They are not gods. What makes them so special? Knowledge? Intellect? Wisdom? And creating a realm of worship so people would sacrifice themselves for you is revolting and everything but divine or remarkable.
Yes, Echo gets a narrative!
The woman is smart, dangerous and loyal. So far, she’s been nothing but Bellamy’s girlfriend and subject, so I’m glad she finally got a storyline of her own. I’m sure the mercy kill of the guard was used purely to show her compassion, which her boyfriend questioned a few episodes ago. Many people still do not like her.
Tumblr media
Being an amazing spy, she extorts Jade for information and figures out that Clarke’s gone. Her natural inclination is to attack which Bellamy, to my surprise, shoots down. That look in her eye suggests she’s not done though. She’ll probably save Jade’s life in exchange for being a double agent. Which could be a great asset to our heroes.
Tasya Teles said that her favorite dynamic of the show is yet to come and that Echo is bisexual. I can see the two of them partnering up and that’s a team I both route for and ship. They’re equals, they have similar backgrounds, they’re caring in a complex way. Why not be those things for each other?
In the end, it all boils down to Bellamy and Clarke
Tumblr media
Bellamy’s tears, tears, and more tears this episode was heartbreaking. Don’t hate me, it wasn’t as convincing as, “We can’t lose Clarke, we can’t lose her!” or “I left her to die and we all die anyway!” though. Why is his mourning stressed this way? Maybe because he lost someone he loves like Russel suggested.
Acting out of anger, he tried to choke Russel for killing her and I imagine the following stopped him: “You have such a big heart Bellamy... but to make sure we survive, you have to use this too.” Especially because he later states that we survive, it’s what Clarke would have wanted.
Tears welled in my eyes when he told Madi. And that hug gave me painful father-daughter feels. At least he’ll try to keep his promise to Clarke and take care of her. Bellamy, you better, that girl is taking a wrong turn. Even if I agree with her cause, following a venomous lead will land her in scorching hot water.
I really would have loved to see Miller, Jackson and Jordan's grief too. And it looked like Spacekru didn't care much after she saved their lives countless times. That scene was underwhelming, truly.
Now, as I predicted, Clarke appears in Josephine’s dreams when she finally sleeps. Which images haunt her? Roan, Abby, Madi, Lexa, Bellamy. I saw tweets of other’s but those were clear to me. Accompanied by Abby, Bellamy and her own words to Lexa. The most important people in her life, right?
Tumblr media
I knew this would happen, something obviously went wrong with the insertion or Clarke is just a fighter. I don’t think it has anything to do with synthetic nightblood. Josephine, honey, you’re in for the wildest and scariest rollercoaster ride of your life. Clarke Griffin is a force to be reckoned with and she won’t stop until her prison break is successful.
I cannot imagine the experience of living in your own mind to be pleasant. Especially not while fighting Josephine Lightbourne for power. Poor, poor, Clarke.
Bellamy was the first to notice Josephine isn’t Clarke and I’m sure he’s gonna realize that she still exists too. The devil will let something slip or act weird and he’ll pick up on it. Either that or Jade informs Echo. Once he solves that puzzle, he will stop at nothing until she returns to him. But Bellamy, please keep your eye on Madi throughout, do not follow in Abby’s footsteps.
Will Clarke’s dreams hold a confession of feelings? Will Bellamy confess to Josephine? Will there be any sort of confession?
Last week someone called my Becho theories typical. Fine, I may be biased but I only write what I see on my screen and if you disagree, I’d love to know why.

I really enjoyed Jewish Matriarch Kitty, so I'm asking for Magento. Or any other Jewish X men charc you know of. Also I'm glad you're doing better!
Magneto’s got kind of a weird relationship with the whole Judaism thing, but yeah, sure, here are some Magneto headcanons.  There are other unrelated things here too, but yeah, let’s just talk about Erik Lensherr’s messy relationship with religion.
Send me a character and I’ll give you 10 headcanons about them!
So...Erik Lensherr is ultimately one of the most idealistic characters in the Marvel universe.  It’s not Xavier.  Xavier is an optimist, definitely, but he’s not oblivious, that’s why the X-Men exist (hi I hate that interpretation very much).  Erik, on the other hand, the thing that ultimately gets him into trouble is that he believes in this shining idealized future where mutants have split away from humanity wholesale and live at peace in a utopia isolated from the humans who hate them.  He believes in that so much that he’s a little blind to the fact that his actions seeking that ideal are actively harming the way mutants are treated.  Any interpretation of Magneto has to respect the fact that at his core, he is an idealist and that affects every single action he takes.
Erik has some Issues with regard to children.  Especially mutant children.  He was a mutant child whose family was murdered.  His daughter was murdered for the crime of her father’s mutant powers.  He has Issues.  The X-Men are largely oblivious to this until a fight in which Kitty corners him and he knocks her out, and since she’s wearing body armor, he has every reason to think that she’s dead.  He pulls off her mask and the realization that she’s a child, a little girl, barely older than his daughter, she should be in middle school--it destroys him.  It’s months until the X-Men hear from him again.
Erik doesn’t exactly...attend synagogue or observe the Sabbath or what have you.  He knows some of the prayers still, but a lot of it has been lost to time--he’s an old man, now, older than his body would suggest, and it was a long, long time ago that he was sitting and watching his mother sing blessings with her hands over her eyes.  And more than that, he has such a hard time walking into a synagogue.  All he can remember is the way that everyone he knew, everyone who used to help him learn the Torah and who put on Purim plays, clutched at each other and cried until they were out of tears the day his neighborhood was emptied.
Erik does observe a small handful of holidays, and they might seem a little arbitrary but I’m pretty committed to it.  He always remembers Yom Hashoah, of course, and he takes Yom Kippur fairly seriously, although see that first point for an idea of the way he might not be entirely clear on what Yom Kippur is...about.  Erik can count the number of Seders he’s attended in the past three decades on his fingers and have plenty of fingers left over, but on years when he has it in him, he’ll try and assemble a few things together and read the story of the Exodus.  And he always takes note of Hanukkah.  There’s something that still appeals to him about the miracle of the oil and the story of the Maccabees and the idea of taking something back that’s been destroyed.
Holidays Erik intentionally does not observe are Rosh Hashannah (traditionally a celebratory event, and more importantly one that he associates strongly with family) and Sukkot (his neighborhood used to build sukkahs together and he tried, once or twice, to do it alone, and he just...couldn’t).  It’s for his own health, more than anything else.  His one grand concession to the concept of self care.
Erik does not know the adult parts of the Seder rituals.  He bought a Haggadah once and lasted about five pages before he threw the book at a wall and stormed out of the room because the only other alternative was destroying it.
One year while Erik was on better terms with the X-Men--he’s been on very good terms with them from time to time--he went to the mansion and stopped outside because it was just after sunset and there was a hanukkiah in the window.  It was snowing.  He remembers that it was snowing very clearly, because he stood there for some time, shocked almost beyond functioning by the fact that there was a hanukkiah in one of the bay windows, all lit up, and there were figures laughing and dashing around the room and it was happy.  It had been a long time since he celebrated like that.  He didn’t go inside.
At the end of the day, Erik is acting out of fear.  That’s what makes him fundamentally different from the X-Men.  The mutants who work with the X-Men are choosing to adhere to the statement “Yes, I am afraid, and you are scaring me, but that does not make it right to kill you in order to make it stop.”  The mutants who work under Magneto believe “I am afraid and it is your fault and I am going to make you stop at any cost.”  Which is understandable given the circumstances but I’m pretty well over the Hot Edgy Take that Erik is in some fashion ‘more right’.  I’m just over it, folks.  Don’t come to me with that one.
Um...Erik is a bad father.  Sorry.  That’s...that’s canon.  He has, what, four kids all told?  Wanda, Pietro, Lorna, and his daughter whose name is determined by which canon you’re working with.  He was a good dad to the one daughter whose name is [VOIDFISH STATIC] but she did get murdered.  Wanda and Pietro, that relationship falls somewhere between ‘manipulative but no more so than Magneto’s relationship with any other underling’ and ‘outright abusive’ depending on canon, but he’s certainly never a good parent.  Lorna’s just...he’s a bad father to Lorna Dane.  In his defense, he’s not had the requisite therapy to work past his massive PTSD that totally skewed his ability to emotionally connect and relate to a family unit.  On the other hand: hey bud, taking advantage of your emotionally wrecked daughter to make her overhaul reality on multiple occasions is not okay.
Erik wants nothing more than to be on the same side as Charles Xavier again.  He just can’t bring himself to sacrifice that vaunted ideal to make it happen.
