Just woke up and saw the trailer!
Based on what I saw I do believe this is going to be the friendship portion in the first half as they come back together and open up to one another a bit more. They said the word enough for me to believe it. Which in my opinion is actually good for them to fix their foundation before pursuing further.
Also it seems like friendship will be a recurring theme not only between polin, but Eloise as well. I don't particularly like the Eloise and Cressida friendship but I think in the long run it will be good for both. We get Cressida humanized a bit find out the why potentially to the mean girl. Eloise, who is trying to over correct after her falling out with Penelope gets much needed exposure to the thoughts of women who aren't going to automatically agree with her. Though a part of me wonders if Eloise is going to fall in the role that Penelope had in her friendship in her attempt to over correct and becomes a soundboard for Cressida.
We'll also potentially see other friendships between Penelope and the other Bridgertons which I like. We've been subtley shown before Penelope is seen as family by the other Bridgertons now I hope they actively show it by letting us see their interactions. I'm particularly interested in our two introverts and see how they compare and contrast. Francesca most likely will be thrown into the spotlight due to her being a Bridgerton while Penelope is trying to bring herself out of the shadows.
Francesca herself, I'm also excited to see since she's been off in Bath the last two seasons pretty much. Most likely, we'll see her be named the diamond, but unlike the last two, she is more than likely going to be uncomfortable of that title due to her quiet nature.
Colin's relationship with his family is another thing I'm looking forward to. The brothers teasing as Colin gets dressed in carriage. Eloise and Colin potentially getting closer as she attempts in her mind to protect her brother from Penelope. I'm hoping I'm right about my theory of them pairing up the siblings based on birth order and we get to see a close bond between Colin and Francesca.
I SEE MY GIRL GENEVIEVE DELACROIX! Can't wait to see what she gets up to this season. I hope she gets to make some of her own designs come to life. Plus another friendship/partnership I'm interested in seeing where it goes if they do develop it further. Gen is one of the most genuine relationships Penelope has right now where they both have been shown to let their down their masks around one another via their voices.
Prudence and Harry got me dying too in that one clip with the grapes. Based on what we've been shown of Harry so far I think he'll be good for Prudence. He seems so sweet and apparently a himbo. I think he'll soften some of Prudence's prickly edges.
Portia's acknowledgement and pride of Penelope's success on the marriage mart. OH I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THIS RELATIONSHIP! I'M GOING TO BE SO ANNOYING ABOUT IT WHEN IT FINALLY COMES! IMAGINE IF WE GET A REVERSED PROPOSAL SCENE WHERE PORTIA IS TRYING TO GET COLIN OUT OF THE ROOM BECAUSE SHE THINKS PENELOPE WANTS TO MARRY DEBLING!
Also the candle symbolism about polin and it be the guiding light towards their love. Penelope's is burning bright, her love for Colin as strong as ever but she's putting that off to the side to grab hold of the freedoms marriage will provide her. Meanwhile Colin's candle has the barest flame before it flickers to life. There's been feelings unacknowledged for a while now but he can no longer hide from them.
Though now I'm curious about what Whistledown will be doing in the background. They hid her at least for this part.

I saw someone recently ask why their shots weren't turning out how they wanted them to despite being able to support the highest graphical settings, so I thought I could share a little behind-the-scenes tidbit re: my approach to lighting and post-editing in VP in case it's useful.
And for my money, lighting is one of the most important factors in getting a shot that I'm happy with. Yes, a high-end graphics card can absolutely help, but that's just one tool of many that can make a difference.
(This info is probably most relevant to folks who can mod their game, but the overall principle can also be applied to vanilla photomode, too. You'll just have to find good in-game light sources since you won't be able to spawn your own, and it might require a little more finagling with the vanilla photomode exposure and contrast settings. Here are some 100% vanilla shots I took recently that I think turned out pretty decent even with those limitations, just to give you some ideas if that's what you're working with.)
Lighting & Exposure
So referencing the photos above, from left to right:
A purely vanilla shot with ray-trace enabled but no lighting tools
The same shot with lighting tools on Valerie
The same shot with lighting tools + some Lightroom editing
Beefy graphics cards can certainly make a difference here since they'll be able to render more nuanced light and shadows, but as you can see in the purely vanilla shot, that ray tracing on its own ain't doing much when it comes to lighting Valerie. The neon lights in the background are pretty, but she's barely even visible in that dark ass street.
In the second shot, Valerie is in the exact same location but has multiple light sources on her. I mostly use CharLi lights these days, which is a free suite of lighting tools available on Nexus, and the customizable ambient lights in AMM, also free on Nexus.
I didn't think to screencap my exact lighting setup, but I'm pretty sure it was something like this:
CharLi spotlight on the left and right of Valerie, tinted pink/magenta
CharLi spotlight on the upper right, tinted teal
(I think I might have had an orange CharLi spotlight too, but it wasn't visible from this angle)
2 CharLi white spotlights directly on Valerie
Probably 1 or 2 AMM customizable point lights on her face (I like using the point lights at very low brightness to accentuate faces and give them a nice glow)
Now putting all these lights on a character could end up way too bright at the default vanilla exposure, especially if you aren't using any kind of major Reshade overhaul (which I do not).
Instead, I just use the vanilla photomode exposure settings to make a scene really dark and then light it back up with my own tools. (This is also a great way to shoot in areas that might have weird lighting effects, and it can be done indoors or outdoors and at all hours of the day.)
Just a simple example of that in these shots:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
On the left, Valerie has a spotlight on her face and chest--It's pretty bright, too bright for my tastes. On the right, she has the same spotlight, but the overall exposure has been dropped down to -90 and the highlights have been dropped to -60 (now it's a little too dark for my taste--If this was gonna be a real shot, I'd build up more lights, but just wanted to show how much altering the exposure can affect a shot).
Post-Editing
As for making further adjustments to colors, shadow levels, sharpness, etc. of a shot, I know a lot of folks prefer to do that with Reshade presets, but... I don't, haha. I did make a basic shader to reduce the green tint of the game, and I use the Cinematic DOF and Real Long Exposure shaders to get a nice depth of field and reduce hair pixelating. Otherwise, all other adjustments I make are in Adobe Lightroom (or Photoshop if I need to make more precise adjustments).
And it's just a personal preference here. I just don't like having to mess with too many mods and menus in-game--I feel like it increases the chance of something freezing or crashing or me accidentally closing out of photomode. It also helps to give me a new perspective to see the shot outside of the game, especially if it's a portrait-oriented shot. Plus, I just like the process. Gives me one more reason to stare at the blorbos for a little while. :3
I adjust each Lightroom preset as needed depending on the color and exposure of the shots I'm working with, but these are some of the more common settings I modify:
I almost always finetune the exposure and shadows/highlights.
I like to do a global increase for saturation and vibrance.
A lot of my presets increase the saturation of reds and blues and decrease the saturation of yellows and greens, but this can vary; e.g. i like the greens to be vibrant if it's a nature shot.
I also usually make the white balance a little cooler.
I love tinkering with the global curves settings to "flatten" the shadow levels.
And I like really crispy shots, so I always increase the sharpness, and I'll usually bump the texture and add some noise, too.
These are all things that can be done in other similar programs/apps or even with Reshade. If you're just starting out, I think using pre-made presets and filters is a great way to go, and as you get more comfortable with the tools, you can start to make little tweaks and edits to personalize the style.
So anyway, there's some of my process! Everyone's got their own, and what works for me might not work for you--Don't feel like you have to take any of this as gospel or work exactly the way I do. But maybe this will... shed some light (ha ha, I'll see myself out) on how to get started with some VP tools. <3

Consider Art I: 2022
Happy Holidays! I hope everyone is having a pleasant holiday season and has recovered from blacking out from Thanksgiving gravy poisoning. This holiday season, I’d like to introduce a new tradition at Consider Nature. As you may know, Consider Nature is dedicated to shining a spotlight on some of the animal kingdom’s most underrated members, animals who get overlooked despite being fucking awesome. To help highlight the beauty of these funky little guys, I would like to introduce the first Consider Art Competition!
For Consider Art, artists are asked to create pieces depicting or inspired by an animal covered in the Consider Nature blog. For those who are not familiar with the blog, I have written articles on the following animals:
Olm (Proteus anguinus)
Indian Purple Frog (Nasikabatrachus sahyadrensis)
Pygmy Hippopotamus (Choeropsis liberiensis)
Scaly-foot Snail (Chrysomallon squamiferum)
Kaua’i Cave Wolf Spider (Adelocosa anops)
Shoebill (Balaeniceps rex)
Submissions will be judged based on their originality, quality, successful depiction of the animal, and whether or not the judges of the competition and I subjectively like it. All submissions are due JANUARY 6TH! Please check the submission guidelines below before entering your piece, as there is a specific process for entering a piece of art in this competition.
Prizes:
Here at Consider Nature, we are aware that exposure doesn't do a very good job of putting food on an artist's table. So, the top three art pieces submitted for the competition will receive prizes (they aren't going to be big prizes because I don't do this for money, but I'll do my best). The winning artists may choose to receive their prize as an Amazon or Etsy gift card (depending on how much they hate Jeff Bezos).
First place will receive a $50 Amazon or Etsy gift card.
Second place will receive a $25 Amazon or Etsy gift card.
Third place will receive a $10 Amazon or Etsy gift card.
All winning pieces will also be posted on the Consider Nature blog as well as on our social media (with full credit to the artists and links to their social media). Honorable mentions may also be awarded as part of this competition, depending on how many entries there are. These pieces will not receive a cash prize.
Submission Guidelines:
Any kind of art will be accepted for this competition. Keep in mind that if you make a physical drawing, painting, or sculpture, you will need to photograph or scan it to submit.
All submissions must be entered by January 6th, 2023. No entries will be considered after this time!
Please submit your piece as PDF, JPEG, or other common image file type. Pieces that cannot be opened by the judges on an average computer will not be considered.
To enter your piece into the competition, complete the following steps:
Email your submission to [email protected]
Post your submission on Instagram or Tumblr, using the hashtag #considerart2022.
When you post your piece, please provide a link to the Consider Nature article that corresponds to the animal represented in your piece. This will help other people find and enjoy Consider Nature.
Please make sure that you follow these submission guidelines, as improperly-submitted pieces may not be considered.
Rules:
Work submitted for this competition must be the artist's own original work.
Art made using AI tools such as DALL-E or Nightcafe will not be considered for this competition.
Pieces submitted must represent one of the animals covered in Consider Nature blogs.
Consider Nature has the right to reproduce pieces submitted for this competition on social media or on the Consider Nature website for the purpose of promoting the artist’s work or the Consider Nature blog. To be clear, pieces submitted for this competition will never be merchandised in any way without the artist’s express permission (and artists will be compensated).

MvA: The M Files take-a-peek, pt. 4
Two chapters today. First one's rather small so it's not exactly a double feature
Chapter 4
Tumblr media
Is it "shh" or "sshh"? You tell me. Artbook says "ssh"
And like that, slight panic starts not in the streets but in the White House
Maaaaan, someone sure let the White House front lawn go
Mr. President of the 1960s/70s, even though you definitely don't look one bit like John Kennedy or Lyndon Johnson, you've described a handful of times in America between your time & now (2023, in case some reads this in 2024 and beyond)
Tumblr media
That is one heck of a color scheme for Monger's hair. Just about as mysterious as the president's hair: like how does that combover work? Or what is that supposed to be?
So there's a basic map of the facility we all came to know and love...or loathe...whatever. The artbook has a much bigger description of it, a LOT more detail. But you can kinda figure out where everything is in this picture in comparison with the movie, kinda maybe sort of. Hm
So, I guess Link is no longer on dry ice or whatever. Yay, I think
Chapter 5
Tumblr media
Welp, so much for that mushroom cloud footage. Explosions were almost a comedy staple in 2000s cartoons, like the cooler & wagon crash landing on top of the SUV in Over the Hedge or the chain reaction explosions of the hunters' trucks courtesy of a propane tank in Open Season. Why Insecto's origin story was changed to exclude that...idk
First off, you wouldn't want any amount of radiation exposure in that close amount of space, especially with little aeration holes...in front of kids, no less
What does the kid second from the left have in his mouth? Definitely does NOT look like gum
I'm getting major bridal Thumbelina vibes from the girl in pink, that hair
Hey, is this a parody of Spiderman's origin story? Imma say yes! Japan's own superhero, Grubman!
Tumblr media
No, I think we ended up with Spiderman meets Bruce Wayne. Or just a rich guy who had to undergo a good amount of medical treatment for a very abnormal bug bite. Boo hoo. But moving on!
How quickly did Insecto grow? And that would probably determine how she got from a museum to a marketplace. (Yes, Insecto is female. Confirmed by the artbook)
Tumblr media
Whitewashing some of the locals or just tourists? You tell me
That's some lazy Kanji right there
So Japan already had experiences with giant monsters AND robots? I mean, there was Godzilla (who got blown up in the B&W OG movie), but still. My curiosity is P-I-Q-U-E-D. If Japan had this sort of problem before 1950, good luck convincing the Japanese public that monsters are just stuff of myth & legend. Japan must've been the chillest place in the world when the monsters made their debut
Tumblr media
Indestructible. But not for an alien robot
RIP, pilot. We thank you for your service. You are forever in our hearts
Ooh, W. R. Monger-- "CAPTAIN! Captain W. R. Monger." If you don't know what this reference is, I'm very sorry for you
I know English is becoming more & more of an international language, but I'm not sure that it was THAT international in the 1960s/70s. So a Japanese general that was fluent in English back then was a miracle
Tumblr media
So, was Insecto just there for that one night or was she just sitting there in downtown Tokyo for more than a day?
I just realized Monger's hair turned gray really quickly in between BOB's story and this one...and now it's brown again
For the record, his eyes aren't blue
Bright lights...like stadium lights, movie premiere searchlights, interrogation spotlights, tell me more
Tumblr media
Oh! Christmas lights. I'm disappointed in you, Tokyo. Wait, there's stage lights...and a disco ball!! Lol! I stand corrected
I guess Monger names his monsters on the fly. As is shown in the movie, "Escar...gantua"
"We saved the city!"
"At what cost?"
"Ummmm...the city"
Goodbye, downtown Tokyo
Tumblr media
Those lights must've bleached the fur on Insecto's back
And so...there they go, about to tow a 350-foot colossus across the world's biggest ocean and a few hundred miles inland through Cali and into Nevada
I just realized...how does Insectosaurus almost always stand upright if most, if not all insect species are invertebrates? A lot of invertebrates have exoskeletons, so hers is probably underneath all that fur. Pardon this quack/wannabe entomologist
I think there's two more posts after this, which both should be coming this week. Whoopee!!!
FYI: yes, I have been the proud owner of a hardcover copy of The Art of MvA since the early 2010s. You will have to hunt me down for it if you want it for yourself
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to mourn the end of Phantom of the Opera 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Unlocking Success: Exploring the Power of PPC Agencies - A Spotlight on Aral Digital Agency in Hisar
In today's fast-paced digital landscape, the art of effectively reaching potential customers has evolved into a dynamic blend of creativity, strategy, and technology. At the heart of this evolution lies Pay-Per-Click (PPC) advertising, a powerful tool that empowers businesses to connect with their target audience in a direct and measurable manner. As businesses in Hisar and beyond seek to harness the potential of PPC advertising, the role of specialized agencies has become paramount. One such standout player in the field is Aral Digital Agency, a Hisar-based powerhouse that has been making waves in the realm of digital marketing. In this blog post, we delve into the world of ppc agency in hisar advertising, uncover the transformative role of PPC agencies, and shine a spotlight on the remarkable contributions of Aral Digital Agency to Hisar's digital landscape. Get ready to unlock the secrets of successful digital advertising and discover how Aral Digital Agency is redefining the game.
Understanding PPC Advertising
In a world where every click matters, Pay-Per-Click (PPC) advertising stands as a beacon of precision and impact. At its core, PPC is a digital advertising model that charges advertisers only when their ads are clicked on by users. Unlike traditional advertising methods, where you pay upfront for exposure without guaranteeing engagement, PPC ensures that you're only paying for tangible results – actual clicks from potential customers.
Advantages of PPC Over Traditional Advertising:
Cost Efficiency: With PPC, you allocate your budget to reach a specific audience, ensuring that you're investing in those most likely to be interested in your offering. This targeted approach eliminates wastage of resources.
Immediate Results: Traditional advertising campaigns often require significant lead time before results are visible. PPC, on the other hand, generates immediate visibility as soon as your campaign goes live.
Measurable Performance: The beauty of PPC lies in its measurability. You can track every click, impression, and conversion, giving you real-time insights into the effectiveness of your campaigns.
Flexibility and Control: PPC campaigns can be adjusted on the fly. If you notice certain keywords or ad placements aren't performing as expected, you can quickly tweak your strategy to optimize results.
Importance of Targeted and Relevant Ad Campaigns:
PPC's true strength lies in its ability to be hyper-targeted. You can tailor your ads to specific demographics, geographic locations, device types, and even the time of day. This precision ensures that your message reaches the right people at the right time, increasing the likelihood of conversions.
Imagine you're a local bakery in Hisar wanting to promote your freshly baked goods. With PPC, you can set your ads to display to people in the Hisar area, enticing them with mouthwatering images of your products. This level of customization not only boosts engagement but also enhances your return on investment (ROI).
As businesses in Hisar strive to carve their niche in the digital realm, understanding the nuances of PPC advertising becomes a competitive advantage. By aligning your strategies with the principles of PPC, you're not only investing in visibility but also in genuine customer engagement – the kind that drives growth and fuels success. In the following sections, we'll unravel the pivotal role of PPC agencies and take an in-depth look at how Aral Digital Agency is leading the charge in Hisar's digital transformation.

A surge in website traffic and footfall in the boutique, translating to increased revenue.
In a digital landscape that's constantly evolving, Aral Digital Agency has emerged as a steady guide, leading businesses through the complexities of digital marketing with finesse and flair. As we delve further into the mechanics of effective PPC campaigns and the strategies that drive them, keep an eye out for the ingenious techniques that Aral Digital Agency employs to empower businesses in Hisar and beyond.
Choosing the Right PPC Agency
In a world where the digital landscape is brimming with possibilities, the role of a Pay-Per-Click (PPC) agency becomes pivotal in steering your business towards success. However, not all PPC agencies are created equal. The key lies in selecting the right partner – one that understands your goals, shares your vision, and possesses the expertise to navigate the dynamic realm of online advertising. Here's a guide to help you make an informed choice when choosing a PPC agency:
Factors to Consider:
Expertise and Experience: Look for agencies with a proven track record in PPC advertising. Experience matters – a seasoned agency will have insights into trends, strategies, and challenges that come with different industries.
Industry Alignment: An agency familiar with your industry's nuances can hit the ground running. They'll understand your target audience, competition, and the keywords that matter most in your sector.
Services Offered: Beyond PPC management, consider an agency's holistic approach to digital marketing. Do they offer services like keyword research, landing page optimization, and data analysis?
Transparency and Communication: Effective communication is vital. A reliable agency keeps you in the loop, sharing progress reports, results, and recommendations in a transparent manner.
Customization: Your business is unique, and your PPC strategy should reflect that. A reputable agency tailors campaigns to your specific goals and audience.
Budget Management: A good agency will optimize your budget for maximum results. They'll also be upfront about costs, avoiding hidden fees.
Evaluating the Agency:
Case Studies and Portfolio: Review the agency's past work. Case studies showcase their ability to drive results and adapt strategies to different challenges.
Client Testimonials: What do their clients say? Testimonials offer insights into the agency's working style, results, and overall satisfaction.
Industry Recognition: Awards and recognition within the industry can provide validation of the agency's expertise.
Initial Consultation: Arrange a meeting to discuss your goals and gauge the agency's understanding of your needs. Their approach during this phase can be indicative of their future collaboration.
Aligning Goals:
Choose an agency that aligns with your business goals. If your focus is on local Hisar marketing, an agency like Aral Digital Agency, which understands the local landscape, might be an ideal match. Conversely, if you're eyeing a global market, an agency with a broader reach might suit you better.
Selecting the right PPC agency is an investment in your business's growth. Take the time to research, evaluate, and choose an agency that not only delivers results but also partners with you on your journey to digital success. By making an informed decision, you're setting the stage for a dynamic partnership that can propel your business to new heights in the competitive digital landscape.
Conclusion
In the ever-evolving landscape of digital marketing, the power of Pay-Per-Click (PPC) advertising and specialized agencies has emerged as a game-changer for businesses aiming to thrive in the online realm. Through this exploration of PPC advertising and a spotlight on Aral Digital Agency in Hisar, we've uncovered the transformative potential that lies within this dynamic domain.
PPC advertising isn't just about clicks – it's about strategic engagement with your target audience, about crafting messages that resonate and inspire action. By embracing the advantages of PPC over traditional advertising methods, businesses can seize immediate results, measure performance accurately, and exert precise control over their campaigns. This level of precision becomes even more powerful when entrusted to the expertise of a skilled PPC agency.

throwing my hat in the ring and throwing ✨ 🍿 and 🪞 <- mirror since it doesnt show up on my end for any! <3
ah ty!! i'll do my girls reyes and cecelia :3c
✨ SPARKLES - do they have any prominent features (freckles, moles, dimples, etc)?
Reyes has a pretty prominent nose which lends itself to quite a profile. She also has a striking mouth and chin.
Cecelia has some hawkish features - sharp, thin. Hard eyes, but she's generally of good humor, so the hardness is easy to overlook.
🍿 POPCORN - do they like being the center of attention or more in the shadows?
Reyes prefers to be more in the background. Easier to do work when people aren't paying attention - but she also really enjoys pretty clothes and bright colors, so. Win/loss.
Cecelia doesn't want to be in the spotlight, but that's where she ends up regardless. Too clever for people to miss, and she associates with people who end up in the limelight too often for her not to get some exposure as well.
🪞 MIRROR - do they like the person that they are? do they have any regrets?
Reyes - ehh. It could be worse. She's definitely made mistakes that's shaped the person she is. At the same time, she can't fathom not being that person. her biggest regret is signing up with the NCR in the first place.
Cecelia prefers not to Think about her life. Regrets are given to people who had the freedom to make choices. Cecelia simply is who she is. Can't wish for anybody different, or all she'll do is torture herself.

BIGHIT vs BTS SHIPS The Difference Between Jikook and Taekook
I think I have explained the commercial value of ships when it comes to content marketing in one of my previous posts. But allow me to use this opportunity to address it in depth.
Bighit did not invent shipping. Shipping predates Kpop and plays a vital role in spiking interest, relevancy and longevity of that interest in a piece of marketed content. It sustains Audience Retention rates and improves engagement rates significantly. It is a powerful marketing tool when used right but I'm not going to get into all that in this post.
Fact is BigHit does benefit from shipping culture because it is one way they keep the audience engaged with BTS content even when they aren't putting out new content for the market to consume. BTS ships serve the same purpose as all the Run, Soop, Bon voyage and myriads of sub content they put out. You may not watch Run every day, but if you are a shipper you will like a ship post at least once a day.
Shipping is organic and costs nothing unlike most other marketing strategies available to the marketer. TV programs such as Harry Potter (Dont lie. I know you shipped Hermoine and Harry. I did too. *tears) Star wars, Friends, Supernatural, Vampire Diaries, Shadow Hunter to name a few have all benefited from shipping culture significantly.
Can BigHit do without ships? Absolutely. They would be a fool to though. Shipping is just one of the many resource options available to a marketer. It bridges the gap in between formal contents and keep interest in a brand going.
I smirk when some people dismiss shipping, look down on shippers or make ignorant and ill informed comments about shipping culture in general. Audience retention and engagement is king in today's economy and BigHit taps into this resource very well.
All BTS ships are thus relevant and valid. All of them. Unfortunately, this is a numbers games. Numbers play a key role in the commercial value of a ship. And it is a fact universally acknowledged that Taekook and Jikook are ships with the most number of fans and as such provides higher engagement rates within a marketing context.
Taekook is the biggest ship not just in BTS but in Kpop. It is followed closely by Jikook. Does that mean all the ships are nothing but shallow interactions engineered to keep us tethered to BTS for as and when they are ready to sell a product to us? NO.
I don't see BigHit actively curating these ships and masterminding them.
What I mean is, I don't think BigHit is asking the members to interact or even forcing them to interact- except in recent moments but that is another topic for another day.
BTS interact with eachother from their own free will. Of course no two interactions are going to be the same as no two relationships are the same. We cannot compare Taegi to Jikook or Taekook to Jikook or even to VMin because the friendship between Jimin and V is not the same as between V and Jin etc.
No one is forcing Jungkook to interact with Jimin. No one is forcing Tae not to interact with JK. It's absurd to think in such a way.
They all interact with eachother and provide that content for BigHit's use. All BigHit does is decide when to show us that content as and if they want to show it to us at all. They are a business and all these ships are just marketing resources and so they will show us a ship's content in a way that advances their business marketing strategy.
However, if two people within a ship barely interact or do not interact at all with eachother then there wouldn't be any content on them for BigHit to promote or use in their marketing campaigns to begin with.
What I'm saying is, if Taekook sells- as in if there are a lot of people interested in seeing their content(which there are) and those two individuals actually have moments together on or off camera, then in their estimation BigHit will market that content to us. If Jikook sells they will sell it to us; as long as none of these ships are damaging to the reputation and business of BigHit.
[CONTROVERSIAL TOPIC BELOW- Proceed with caution.]
A ships value to BigHit, in my opinion, is contingent on its commercial value as discussed above but if that ship causes BigHit to lose money rather than gain, if a ship negatively affects the business or reputation of BigHit then that ship is as good as dead. They will kick that ship off the spotlight real fast.
Taekook and Jikook have both had moments like this where they are temporarily taken off the spotlight or even asked to tone things down. We've all seen it don't argue with me.
Not everything BigHit does is about these ships. BigHit is a brand in of its own. They have several other brands under their brand and they can't afford to ruin their brand image or any of their artists.
They will not hesitate to shut down a ship if it is doing more harm than good. They did it to Taekook when that ship was in it's hay days. As soon as they started recieving a ton of negative press that is when they started getting 'seperated' -on stage anyway. I don't think they were seperated or asked not to interact off camera. Clearly they do. They are friends after all.
BigHit does the same thing to Jikook whenever they start recieving negative attention. But we see them interacting backstage nevertheless and usually this happens at the same event they get 'separated at.'
It's nothing personal, just business.
[Controversial content ahead. Proceed with caution]
At this point, I know you would be asking why Taekook seemed to have dimmed as a ship where BigHit is concerned but Jikook recieve the same negative press and yet they still market Jikook and shine more light on it....
A Taekooker friend whom I had this discussion with pointed out to me that it seems whenever Jikook receives a ton of negative press BigHit claps back with more Jikook content and in an aggressive way yet has it being Taekook we wouldn't get any content outside official content for a whole year.
To be fair, BigHit treats all ships equally in my opinion. Jikook gets penalized for certain moments just as much as Taekook or any ship gets punished. Example, after the New Jersey VLive Jikook were banned(allegedly) from doing a Vlive on their own for a whole year and after the ban was lifted their VLive was monitored the same way Taekook's Vlive was monitored.
Secondly, perhaps they keep pushing Jikook content because that is all they have? Perhaps, they have more Jikook content than Taekook?
Jikook spend so much time around each other and they don't mind their interactions being filmed as content. Not because they are doing fan service but more so because they are lowkey exhibitionists or exhibit exhibitionist tendencies. Lol. More on that later.
When it comes to Taekook; Tae have said once that JK avoids him off camera which I assume by that he meant Jk doesn't interact with him much off camera. Now it could also be that Jk was not on good terms with him during that particular period which is normal because friends fight.
Jk have also said him and Tae's relationship is not for the cameras and I assume by that he meant they are both are not comfortable providing content for Bighit to use as marketing because as I said all these ship interactions are by their own free will. Bighit can't force Taekook to interact and if Taekook hasn't given them permission to air certain moments they just can't.
Or... or....
The reason BigHit pushes back with more Jikook content even after negative press is because Jikook is real. DEADASS.
Hear me out. Calling Taekook out for promoting Homosexuality in S.K will be deemed negative press if Taekook are not gay or in an actual romantic relationship. Calling Jikook out for promoting homosexuality will not be deemed as negative press but an abuse if Jikook are in fact gay and in a gay relationship with eachother.
BigHit is not homophobic. Bang PD is known for his openly support for members of the LGBTQ plus community. If people hate on Jikook because of their moment he will sympathize with them and shove that in your face.
While Taekook negative press will be a nuance, Jikook negative press will be revolution and BigHit will make a statement: a statement that says they stand with LGBTQ plus community PERIOD.
They will do this not for money but for the boys so they feel loved and supported. So Jikook knows they are not in this fight alone especially coming from a highly homophobic society as S.K.
The thing about Jikook is, Jikook is real. That alone gives BigHit a competitive advantage in the Industry. It means Jikook produce more content for BigHit over any other pair and that content is juicy. It's similar to how companies want exclusive access to certain power couples in the industry. If Jikook are real and BigHit have access to them, exclusive access mind you, then that places BigHit above the competition business wise.
Think of Jikook and BigHit as the Kardashians and Entertainment company behind them. Jikook has given BigHit partial access to their private lives extending beyond the access they have over BTS.
If Taekook or any ship give similar access to them we will see more of them. If they give BigHit content we will see more of them. It's as simple as that.
Jikook is a brand and BigHit is their brand manager. This means BigHit gets more content from Jikook and is at liberty to use that content any how they want and milk the shit out of it. In return, BigHit has a duty to protect Jikook and so no. When Jikook gets negative press due to homophobia BigHit is not going to cancel them.
May be chill on them for a while, because that exposure they give Jikook can be traumatizing for Jikook especially if the feedback is negative.
What I'm saying is, where Taekook would be asked to chill and lay low from public scrutiny it will be because BigHit wants to protect their business interest whereas in Jikook's case it would be to protect Jikook themselves. If Taekook are both gay and in a relationship with each other BigHit would do same for them.
I don't think BigHits marketing tactics however affects the status of Jikook, Taekook or any other ship's relationship in any way. Jikook is real whether it is made the center of attention or not. Taekook could be real regardless of whether they are marketed or not. Just because a certain ship is put under the spotlight doesn't mean that ship is 'real' neither does that negate the genuine friendship that exists between members of other ships.
It is weird to me when people associate BigHits business tactics to the validity of their ship. There is no correlation. BigHit is a business, BTS are their artists that make them money- all BTS not just two members from a ship. BTS is one of the most powerful brands in the world right now.
BigHit will explore and exploit all the relationships within the group, platonic or otherwise, if that will help them sell more albums or even Icecream.
Jikook gives BigHit a competitive advantage more so than any other ship in BTS not just because they are the second largest ship in South Korea but because Jikook are shaping out to be a power couple and Icons for the LGBTQ community. There is a reason why companies rush to support Pride month parades. I'll leave it there.
So no, I don't see it as BigHit highlighting the ship of the era as you put it or alternating between Jikook and Taekook as and when. BigHit has a business to run, shipping plays a vital role in its business marketing strategy but not everything is about these ships.
The members have a role to play in creating content for these ships and Bighit won't hesitate to market it if the content is quality entertainment, consensual and plays to their overall marketing scheme.
This means if Jikook ship content are boring they will choose to show a much entertaining ship content over them. Nothing personal.
I just think they treat Jikook differently because as much as they want to pander to our delusional shipping interests, they owe Jikook a duty to protect them from homophobic people. When you hate on any ship in BTS, BigHit assumes you are nuts but when you hate on Jikook BigHit will immediately assume you are both nuts and homophobic.
Promoting Jikook is business but it is also validation and acceptance and support. Bighit has a proclivity for sensitizing us to Jikook and normalizing their relationship.
If Taekook are also in a gay relationship they will be treated the same and I will support them the same. But to me, I believe Jikook are real and therefore Taekook and Jikook are mutually exclusive. Both cannot be real at the same time.
Ship whatever you want but support Jikook and stan all seven.
Signed,
GOLDY

"Fearsome Feline" (1/4) Another akuma with the power to make one's worst fears manifest in the real world goes on a rampage, and Ladybug is hit. Turns out her worst fear is... Chat. Not Chat Blanc, *Chat Noir*, who's decided to 'stop playing games' and makes his intentions all too clear. He WILL learn all her secrets, including who's behind the mask, and she WILL give him everything he wants; how SHE feels doesn't matter. It never has. He makes that much very clear, to her and all of Paris.
This 'Dark Noir' offers no heroic pretenses, openly declaring that she is HIS whether she wants to be or not. Mocking her resistance, reminding her that people ship them together - remember Nadja and Prime Queen? Remember that kiss they shared during Oblivio…? Doesn't matter how she feels; the Ladyblogger KNEW she didn't want it posted, but uploaded it anyway, because Paris WANTS them to be together! It's DESTINY! Just *accept* it, Bugaboo... it'll happen one way or another~
People are naturally horrified. So is Adrien, albeit for different reasons--
If pepper's more to your tastes, this serves as a harsh wake-up call for Adrien that everything he's done has only served to make 'his lady' fear and despise him.
A saltier Adrien, meanwhile, is just annoyed that she's complicating things by 'smearing his good name'. Maybe he plans to dial back his behavior for a while to 'earn back her trust', or spitefully double down with an attempted guilt-trip.
Regardless of how HE reacts, this casts a harsh spotlight upon how toxic their 'partnership' truly is. And their friends and allies aren't the only ones left to process this new information; *Hawkmoth* now knows as well that Chat has managed to create that sort of wedge between them - and that's something he could spin to his advantage. Exploiting those feelings of gross entitlement, now amplified by their exposure to the world, and to public disapproval and scorn...
