What kind of liquor everyone at the hotel drinks

This is a continuation of @hazelfoureyes’s post abt what kind of drunk everyone is.

My credentials for this that I’m a bartender and work in both restaurants and nightlife so I’ve served all kinds of ppl and Ik what customers want before they even order.

Alastor

So we know this man likes rye and I stonefly believe that he would drink either uncle nearest or makers mark. I mean cmon have you seen the bottle for makers mark it even fits his aesthetic. And yes he will smoke a fat cigar with it too.

Lucifer

Yeah this man drinks wine and is real pretentious about it too, he just gives off mega wine drunk type energy. Like will try to tell you all about how this wine is special because you can taste the hints of sandal wood and how it has a appley after taste even tho no one cares. Also the kind of person to say “I’m just gonna have one glass” then boom the entire bottle is empty.

Angel dust

He drinks vodka you can’t tell me otherwise, he’ll drink tequila when he really wants to turn up but it’s mainly vodka. His favorite is a vodka Martini with little (none) vernouth, so just shaken vodka in a martini glass and yes he can tell if you didn’t shake it. His favorite is highway vodka yk the one that’s made with weed and gets you a lil high aswell.

Husk

Another whiskey drinker everyone, I mean he even says it in the show, straight from the bottle no less. It’s probably either jack Daniel’s or Hennessy doesn’t care much about the quality like Alastor does. No rocks glass no ice cube straight up room temp (yuck). Every once in a while he’ll drink jägermeister if he’s feeling particularly devious that night.

Charlie

Listen don’t ever give her straight liquor, bc she will drink it if ppl cheer her on enough and then immediately throw it up, so everyone’s learned their lesson with her. The closest she’d be able to do without dying instantly is the deep eddy Lemmon/grapefruit. Just give her a Bellini or a margarita, also I feel like she’d love lemon drops.

Vaggie

Beer drinker I don’t know why but she gives off a beer girly kinda vibe that makes husks job so much easier. I feel like she’d like the cream and amber ales too. She’d only drink it on draft though no cans or bottles she thinks it ruins the flavor (she’s not wrong) but most ppl don’t understand that. When she’s not drinking beer it’s vodka crans and seabreazes with Tito’s all they and it’s definitely not bc those are the only two cocktail names she knows.

Nifty

Straight tequila no mixer no chaser not even dressed or chilled, right down the hatch bc she likes it when the alcohol just burns on the way down. YAY PAIN! Fun fact tequila isn’t a depressant which is why you start actin crazy when you drink it, and we all saw how she was acting in episode 6 classic tequila drunk behavior.

again i play so hard and fast with canon but for this one if i like, genuinly got something wrong then plz correct me theres a HIGH chance im getting her power set wrong but the point of this is more me taking like, the base bone of the concept and running with it lol

Just a quick like, how i think lucys magic should work bc im so annoyed shes technically the female lead and literally summons other things to fight FOR her So in my version (the better one) early lucy ONLY has star dresses She can basically give herself the attributes of each spirit, like the star dresses but she also gets a sort of themed weapon, like she gets tarus’ axe, cancers sissors etc. It isnt until lokes arc that shes able to physically summon her spirits Like i feel like summoning a whole spirit takes A LOT of magic so most of the time its more like a warlock patron situation where they lend her spells and if shit get real bad she can spend a high level spell to summon them to fight for her Like idk yea im using dnd terms with this but shhh it makes more sense to me It also makes things like her summoning all her spirits at once a HUGE deal, plus i think its the first time we physically see some of the spirits and also gives a bigger mystery to who they are and how celestial magic works Like i always found it weird how celestial wizards?? Exist?? but each only have 1 key so like?? Theres really only 2 celestial wizards at a time?? Like max there can be 12 but in the show we literally only have lucy and yukino and then like, angel, karen and lucys mom and idk thats kinda dumb Like if its that scarse that theres only 4 active celestial wizards in the WHOLE SHOW idk thats weird and should be treated as a bigger deal So in my mind, each spirit can gift wizards a key, some of them stick to the lower level spirit key collecting, kinda like in the show, and MAYBE have 1 or 2 zodiac keys Zodiacs r notorious for being v fickle with who they enter contracts with and for the most part even if someone is a celestial wizard they can go their whole lives without ever summoning a zodiac spirit bc its just SO POWERFUL So lucy has low key imposter syndrome be she technically inherited her keys from her mom so she never had to prove herself worthy, which in my mind is y she tries so hard to get stronger and prove her place in fairy tail So based on all this i also think lucy just has a shit ton of magical potential due to growing up with the spirits and having such a strong bond with them and thats what allows her to summon all of them and the zodiac king to plead lokes case Idk i also dont love how the spirts serve lucy as like, a master servant thing So having the spirits be more like patrons feels better to me idk It also makes lucy like, an extremely powerful wizard bc she literally has so many zodiac keys but at first i think she give v jack of all trade master of none energy Her main one i feel would be aquarius bc its a less precise magic form of literally just throwing waves at her opponents BUT it takes a lot of magic bc aquarius is such a high level spirit who refuses to go easy on lucy just bc of her connection to her mom Lucy still has her whip bc idk i think its neat Throughout the series she learns oto be much more flexible and think more outside the box when it comes to her magic and she also grows more reckless, kinda a side effect from being around natsu so much and by the time she gets to the GMG she can probably summon her spirits no problem tho 2 at once is still hard like in the show Oo also also early lucy has problems accepting help from others BECAUSE she feels like shes constantly having to prove shes worthy of just,, existing, so she puts off summoning her spirits at all because of that too I think she works on that a LOT after phantom lord and lokes arc

i will say though that when i think of crossovers i do tend to prefer fandom fusions :o i like the idea of blending in the media im crossing over :o !! if youre interested in that sort of thing also, i made an umbrella academy-rezero fusion au fic with turacoverdin and ive made like T^T either shitposty or serious writing or art for several other fusion aus for the past two years… just bc i like the idea of placing rezero characters in like. different scenarios and studying them like bugs under a microscope HAH some other fusions ive done / daydreamed about include madoka magica, attack on titan, persona 5, also did some chainsaw man au doodles (unlike most people when they do chainsaw man aus i put emilia as denji and subaru as asa wodnsjs HEAR ME OUT OK—)… etc etc i suppose… also that one time i drew rezero characters as mario characters and tried way too hard on it—

anyway. as for what characters will get along with subaru—honestly i havent thought about it much so uhhh perhaps i will try right now!! :O i feel like characters like homura from madoka magica could be interesting… bc i feel like for him itd be like acquiring a new little sister bc she has her whole (apologies for madoka magica spoilers? HAH) time travel to save the girl she loves thing… homuras been through a lot and im 100% sure she and subaru will be able to relate to each other. homura kind of has that cold demeanor beatrice used to have too so YES new little sister acquired mayhaps!!!! and depending on how hes feeling he can cheer on her crimes or comfort her fr :,,))

for my fave instruments... id probably say the violin and piano. i really love the sound of them, and i like how much emotion they can evoke!

Okay I have a lot to say in response to this repost from @cyanisatakenusernamefuckit regarding that lil post I made about sick kusuo, hence the entirely independent post, but just roll with it for a second k cause there’s a lot and I love looking into this stuff.

okay so this reply involved a little bit of research on my end (there is a little room for error in what i’m saying bc it wasn’t super in depth so if i’m wrong abt anything lmk)

so after googling i’ve found that most bacteria will die around 60-80 deg C; there are some bacteria out there that can thrive in 100 C heat but whether those can negatively impact humans im not sure

We don’t really know how hot Kusuo can make his fire. We’ve seen him go up to around 93 C in the first episode when he made temp of the thermometer go up to make takahashi seem sick. He can go higher than that as seen when making fire (edit: so about 200C) but what I want to know is exactly how high can Kusuo go and be able to tolerate it.

I think an important thing to remember is that Kusuo is still human and he still has limits and he’s not immune to everything he just has a much higher tolerance than regular people. Take from his fight btwn him and kusuke in Season 3, while the heat energy ray wasn’t enough to really injure him, it did effect him, and he admitted that his arm would’ve turned red had the ray hit him dead on, which isn’t a big effect but it shows he’s not immune, plus he was bleeding some near the end of the fight. So there’s a limit to how much heat Kusuo can take.

edit: it was shown that Kusuo would’ve been burnt by the lava when trying to prevent the volcano which can get up to 1200 C so that’s most likely his limit

That being said, there’s a chance with his genius brain Kusuke could be able to mutate some form of bacteria that could tolerate high heats enough so that Kusuo couldn’t kill it without simultaneously effecting himself, and even if he couldn’t, like you said a biological weapon created by Kusuke probably wouldn’t need to.

But let’s take a different approach. Instead of bacteria and viruses let’s look at allergies. We’ve seen that Kusuo has allergies and it also impacts his powers in that he’s not able to fully control them when he’s partially sick.

Knowing this, what if Kusuke was able to look at his research (bc he def did a lot of testing on kusuo) and found other substances that kusuo was allergic too. There’s a chance that Kusuke could send Kusuo into anaphylactic shock if he was able to inject enough of the allergen into him or smth similar.

Or let’s look at poisons, as far as i’m aware, i don’t think?? Kusuo is completely immune to poisons, just that he could see if they were put in food. Kusuke’s been able to get the jump on Kusuo a few times so i don’t think it’s out of the question for him to be able to pull something, especially if he had a high dosage of said poison. It wouldn’t even have to be an injection it could simply be poisonous gas, because as we’ve been told, even Kusuo can’t filter out what’s in the air.

There might also just be some substances out there that negatively effect his psychic powers, like how germanium impacts his telepathy. There could be some material that impacts his immunity to substances or just inhabits him. Like a psychic kryptonite.

I wouldn’t be surprised if through a large amount of testing Kusuke would be able to find something that could effect Kusuo. And if Kusuo got sick enough, the amount of control he has with his powers is up in the air so he might not have enough control to help himself.

or if kusuke just found a way to block kusuo’s pyrokinesis with some material, then it’d be much easier to make kusuo sick because again he’s not immune to bacteria and virus’s he just kills them with heat before it can effect him.

Regarding the question about pain, I don’t think it’s that Kusuo is always in pain (tho i wouldn’t be shocked if he has chronic migraines) but again just a lot higher tolerance to pain than regular humans.

and the thing about premonition is that Kusuo doesn’t have control over it and it happens at random. There’s no telling if kusuo would get a warning about a Kusuke scheme or not, and tbh in the past he hasn’t. Half the time kusuo doesn’t really know what Kusuke is up to, and a lot of his plans take him by surprise. Take toritsuka’s demon possession, or Kusuke’s weird ass birthday card, or him taking himself hostage in the cat fight episode. Kusuo was surprised by all of it. So i wouldn’t depend on precognition to warn Kusuo about an impending illness. Theoretically Kusuo might be able to teleport away before things got too severe, but Kusuke could probably plan out something that would make Kusuo not want to leave, or maybe his powers would be so inhabited that he couldn’t.

Fortunately, I don’t think Kusuke would ever try to actually kill kusuo. So i don’t think we have to worry about that, which is great because Kusuke is definitely a force to be reckoned with

Cleo feels like more of a cat person, like, i can see her liking the affection from a dog but she definitely doesn’t have the energy to keep up with one, and cats can show both affection and be cold, she definitely likes cats because theyre more chill, though, if she sees a dog in public shell be asking the owner to pet it like a little kid

Harriet definitely is a both person full on, shed like training animals most likely and probably really enjoying both being able to take care of them, play with them and going to bed after a long day of school, her pets laying down with her and just chilling in there with her

Confucius, his moms a cat person, definitely, him on the other hand, hes always been a dog person, he like’s asking to pet other peoples’ dogs and he likes to play with them whenever he gets the chance but at the end of the day he cares for his moms cats, he doesn’t hate them in any way, they just aren’t the type of animal that’s compatible with his personality

Frida is anything but a cat or dog person, she definitely has befriended cats and dogs somehow but she also really likes snakes, hamsters, mice, rats, you name an animal, shes probably all for it, she likes the chillness of a lot of animals but she also really like the hyperactivity of some because theyre like little kids and personal headcanon, shes a babysitter and enjoys the job

Tophers a cat person, chill animal, all you have to do is feed, bath and pet it, take out its litter box as well as well as check its health, he also definitely like sleeping in bed next to cats, like trust me, he won’t like hug them or cuddle them but knowing theyre there makes him feel safe

Jesus is a both person. i dont think i need to explain this, it feels obvious to me

dudes i started watching trigun stampede and having seen like half of the og trigun I have many thoughts!!!

unfortunately i am Bad at articulating my thoughts so I will try to list a couple:

The animation feels like what the og show was supposed to feel, yknow??? like the crusty 90s animation was a huge reason I decided to tap out halfway through bc it feels like they wanted a lot of movement but due to budget or just technological limits they weren't able to and it just looked. not good sometimes. I'm not trying to bash the animation and I'm also not an animator so i have no real idea of what the original production was like or what limits they may or may not have had. However! Putting studio orange on the job was a fuckin stroke of genius bc they know their 3d. and what with the frenetic energy the show should have had, the freedom that 3d animation allows for camera movement and whatnot is what the story deserved. Vash's bugs-bunny style character movements look so much more convincing and energetic (listen i love the of ep 1 crab walk too it was delightfully animated but i think the 3d lets them fully encapsulate that scrambling, frantic energy he carries in action scenes). once again i am not an animator and i have not outlined this at all and I'm absolutely not trying to be some credited critic i am just a Guy.

Subpoint!! the depiction of violence/death/destruction works way better. Once again I'm not going to go after the animators for not having the time/budget/whatever to give the violence and death in the story the weight they should have had. However, it is way more convincing and striking and works better with the tone etc etc i put this in after writing the next two points and my root-beer-fueled sugar high is starting to fade rip

I do miss milly, shes a delight, but i think replacing her character with a more jaded and serious one was the right move for this remake. already the tone is diving into the darker themes of the story and having someone like roberto be the voice of reason between him and Meryl matches the tone of the show better than having the more lighthearted dynamic milly and Meryl had in the original. The original took f o r e v e r to touch on the darker themes of vash's backstory and the overall tone was absolutely more on the quirky, comedic side. This worked well for the dynamic-duo-insurance-girls thing but stampede changing both milly's character AND their careers works way better for what the show is going for. like. if meryl and Roberto were still insurance agents trying to keep a handle on vash, that comedic value would have been totally undermined and had to have been scrapped after episode 3. The tonal dissonace would have been too strong and would have totally killed the mood. Milly is still my girl tho i love her with all my being

I do prefer the slower worldbuilding of the original. I understand with the focus on vash's relationship with his brother instead of the story the original focused on means we need more context for his character and the world the characters live in. But i liked vash being a mystery to both the characters and the watchers! it felt cool to see this goofball of a dude just. let down the facade and make us want to wonder who this guy really is, yknow? but again! as i have said many times! stampede is focused on the darkness in vash's story and the world of trigun so it makes total sense that they introduce vash as a tragic character first! and i love it! i love me a good dark story and instead of the "silly dude with a dark backstory who changes tone at the drop of a hat" character the "guy who has seen some shit and still tries to do good and be kind and funny in spite of it" character just works better there.

Anyway as previously stated i am kind of flagging so ill stop there and I'm sure ill have more thoughts later because I just cant be normal about these things

I think both versions have their merits and drawbacks and I'm not trying to say one is objectively better than the other (even if I do prefer stampede bc I'm a hoe for good animation and dark storytelling) so please do not kill me

Starting off with dear ol Ezra Woodburn because he's a bit more down to earth than Teddy

[9] What is their love language?

His love language is physical affection, if he initiates it with you then you are sure to be his favourite person in the whole world because he despises being touched. That was how his husband discovered that "oh shit there may be something more than friendship here" when Ezra randomly cuddled next to him while watching movies on the couch.

[12] How high is their self-esteem?

Ezra's self esteem is so low it migot as well be in the center of earth XD

He was never able to accept anything about himself and always felt like a mistake that shouldn't have been born, but still, he makes it to over 50.

[26] Do they have any physical or mental ilness, how do they handle it and how open they are about it?

He has both, he has chronic joint pain and fatigue that he has been struggling with since childhood, he also suffers from terrible social anxiety, depression and autism but he never got diagnosed because he refuses to go to a psychiatrist. His family is a very conservative "pull yourself by your bootstraps" kinda family so he was raised to feel immense shame at his disabilities and so he is only open about them with his husband, but it isn't too difficult for people around him to guess given his behaviour.

[30] What are their most healthy and most unhealthy coping mechanisms?

The healthiest is definitely writing and spending quality time with his husband and cat, the unhealthy is sh and smoking :|

[35] Do they like their own appearance, and what do they do, if anything, to alter it in any way?

He really really doesn't, if he is given the chance to look like anyone else he would take it in a heartbeat. He got both top and bottom surgery to ease the dysphoria of being born in the wrong body and he has thought about going to the gym to lose some weight but his pain immediately flares up, but he is getting slightly better at accepting himself given how many kisses his husband gives the areas he considers flawed.

[42] What is their idea of a perfect friendly hangout and/or romantic date?

Going out to the library or a picnic in nature, maybe even a trip to the shelter so he can pet all the animals and coo at them and beg you for seven more cats, three birds, a turtle and a snake.

[48] Are they, or were they at some point in their life, a part of any subculture?

He experimented with the leather goth subculture in his 20s but he immediately discovered that he doesn't have the energy to melt in the summer, so for now it is only a winter and bedroom subculture XD

[50] What are they really good and really bad at?

He's good at cooking, writing, organizing, cleaning and giving orders, he sucks at teamwork, asking for help, singing and knowing when to take a break (and socializing, my man has 0 friends outside of the ones his husband introduced him to)

[57] What was the most stupid or dangerous thing they have ever done?

The most stupidly dangerous thing was to let a stranger that ten years before was his bully at summer camp into his home because he (The bully) had all his money stolen and had nowhere to stay, it ended well for him tho.

The most dangerous thing is probably having 7 attempts at his own life before he turned 25. He eventually met a guy in the psych ward who was fostering a mother cat and her kittens and that is how he got his little angel cat Pumpkin (the guy at the psych ward was Theodore)

Now for Theodore Malik!

Giving gifts and acts of survice, he will cook for you and make you the best outfits you've ever seen all for the small price of tolerating his existence and listening to him ramble about Batman for way waaaay too long. On the more extreme end he will kill for the people he cares about ♡

It fluctuates between I am a gift from god blessing you with my mere existence to I am the worst thing to ever happen to this planet and if i don't stop existing right now the whole world will explode.

He is immortal and has otherworldly physical strength and immunity but you will find him with very sever injuries more times than not, mentally he has a little cocktail that consists of depression, general anxiety, bipolar, ptsd and some psychotic hallucinations. He is very open about everything and you WILL know when he is upset because nothing on God's green earth will stop this man from complaining.

[30] What are their most healthy and most unhealthy coping mechanisms?

The healthy ones are cooking, embroidery and chatting with his friends, the unhealthy ones are smoking, drinking, driving off of cliffs and other destructive actions

He is obsessed with his appearance, narcissus levels of self love, all except his eyes, they are blue like his mother but he would very much prefer if he had inherited the warm brown of his father's.

Theodore's perfect date would be going to the club, getting wasted and forgetting about everything the next day, but if you're not a fan of that he would settle to going to a convention with you.

[48] Are they, or were they at some point in their life, a part of any subculture?

Punk goth, from the 60s till now, before that he just dressed in frilly dressed with floral patterns

[50] What are they really good and really bad at?

He is good at listening, taking care of people, cooking, making and fixing clothes, making friends, and making enemies, he's terrible and mainting a healthy long term relationship, taking care of himself, cleaning, and making good life decisions

[57] What was the most stupid or dangerous thing they have ever done?

Every choice he has ever done is stupid and dangerous, the honorable mentions being running away from home at 16 to go live with the man who stalked him, didn't end well at all. Attempting to kill his ex's abusive ex but he is the most powerful vampire so the only damage Theodore managed to do was burning half of that man's face (and getting himself on a hitlist) and having a thing for mafia bosses which isn't that good when you date two people from opposing sides at the same time :)

i have too many i have one million billion thoughts about gene every second its like this every day:

anyways. gene!!!!! i will give a few thoughts/headcanons/paragraph-long rants about him weeeeee

for mystreet specifically:

-gene is a wof fan, dante is a wc fan. gene is quickly outnumbered bc vylad, zenix, and sasha all also like wc, and he is forced (read: willingly does so bc their friends like it. not that she'll Ever admit that tho) to read wc. it actually ends up liking the books (he heavily relates to ivypool... i wonder why... such a mystery... /j)

-gene is very tall and towers over most of the people they know bc theyre 6'3 (he took all of the available height when he was born so now dante is 5'2 /j). she feels very self-conscious about her height at times but usually finds it very entertaining to scarily lean over people (even though none of their friends are scared by that at all bc theyre super skinny and they have the energy of a sopping wet kitten /j)

-during high school, gene is too stressed to deal with gender or sexuality or anything but that does not stop it from hitting him like a truck. and then backing up to run her over again. repeatedly. they are genderfluid and use any pronouns, and they are bi, polyam, sapphillean, demiromantic, and asexual :)

-seems very intimidating to strangers but the second u actually start talking to them they just. arent intimidating at all? he can be a little rude at times (due to the Autism) and is very quiet and closed off, but really hes just shy and bad at talking to people. unless u hurt any of her friends then she WILL murder u

-gene can and will kill fascists. be gay do crime, death to america <3

-gene has freckles :) she also has a ton of piercings, and has heterochromia (one blue eye and one brown eye)

-their first friend ever was sasha. the two of them met whenever sasha was being bullied in elementary school and gene stood up for her. zenix became friends with them later whenever it just... came over to them at lunch in like 7th grade and started sitting with them (it straight up just said "idk where to sit and you both look gay"). the three of them have been inseparable ever since

-gene is very protective over dante (and by extension, travis as well). no one ever messes with dante or travis bc if u do dante is 100% telling his sibling and ur Dead if gene finds out

-scarily good at video games. her favorite game is rain world and she plays it all the time (they managed to beat enots campaign. somehow?????)

-huge crywolf fan. discovered crywolf when her dad was still at home a lot of the time (he ends up being put in jail for life after attempting to murder his wife. so uhhhhh at least hes gone now?? his family still has to deal with the Trauma but hey) and its been a huge comfort for her ever since

-very high spice tolerance. eats carolina reapers for fun <3

for mcd:

-gene was killed via being burned at the stake. he is now terrified of fire (although he pretends he isnt). he was only 18 when he was executed

-while mys gene is transneufem, mcd gene is transmasc. he uses he/they and is a gay trans man :)

-"but how is her gay if he was canonically in love with a woman" WELL! he suffered from the very common transmasc experience of "i knew i was gay but i didnt know i was a man yet so i thought i was just a lesbian". and also bc of the BPD + trauma making him super attached to this one girl

-speaking of that: gene tried to kiss the girl, and she ran off bc she turned out to be homophobic. they tried to erase her memory so she would go back to being their friend, but dante caught them and she ran off while gene was trying to explain (dante thought what was going on was much worse than it was, and didnt realize until it was too late to apologize)

-growing up, genes entire village was very conservative. the abuse he went through went ignored and shoved under the rug, and he wasnt able to come out until he died and became a shadow knight

-fully turned into a shadow knight after murdering their father. he also set his home village on fire and erased everyones memory of him and dante for good measure (in his mind, he thought he was helping dante)

-gene is 6'8. he used to be 6'6 but grew two inches when he became a shadow knight. also they used to have really long hair (bc he wasnt allowed to cut it) but now they have very fluffy hair that ends around their shoulders

-the color red is a huge trigger for him, he hates it

-was launched out of one abusive relationship (his dad) right into another (shad). he didnt realize shad was abusive for a long time bc, well, shad is nice to him a lot of the time, sure he forces gene to commit murder and torture people and gene really feels iffy about that, but he lets gene cut his hair and and wear masculine clothes so he cant be that bad right hahaha? (<- gene is in denial)

-oh nooo now hes getting sent to the Torture Chamber oh nooooooooo oh well (vylad ends up saving him but not before he gets More C-PTSD)

-he tried to use his powers to forget his entire past. it didnt work well. now his memories are just very fragmented and come back/disappear randomly

-he has DID (dante does as well). due to the Trauma

The small lil things that make my cold dead heart melt:

Shadow just wanting to chill out and cuddle but Sonic can't sit still (or Sonic being ADHD king in general)

Gay panic, goes both ways

Shadow never calling Sonic "Peaches" or "Dear" It only comes up in rare slip ups. Tho Shadow's the one to say "I love you" almost daily. It's ironic as hell, guess he can't hide his underlying sweetness afterall.

Shadow crying sometimes just because he's so grateful that Sonic "puts up with him"

Shadow learning about "natural" hedgehogs trough Sonic

Shadow having to resist to not grab Sonic and his lovehandles all the time. Sonic is a soft lad

If/when Shadow proposed Sonic it made Sonic cry

Sonic talking a lot about Shadow to his friends and family (maybe sometimes a bit too much)

Them snacking a lot together. Shadow avoiding the stuff Sonic loves cause it often makes Shadow sick. (Shadow makes the food for them too, because he knows if it was up to Sonic it would be fast food every day)

Shadow semi secretly caring about Tails since he's Sonic's little brother. He's also very proud of him

Shadow having a shit ton of very romantic date and evening plans but hardly suggesting them bc he fears Sonic would not be into them. (Flowers, dancing, massages all that jazz.)

Shadow getting furious about people insulting or hurting Sonic

Shadow never wanting to sleep alone if he had the chance to not to. If Sonic fell asleep on the couch Shadow would squeeze himself to fit in there too or just sleep on the floor next to the couch

Sonic stealing Shadow's clothes

Sonic cheering Shadow up just by existing and being a dumb ass

Shadow writing cheesy love poems and enjoying romantic comedies and love songs. Of course never showing it tho. Also obsessed with horoscopes

Shadow being mostly vegetarian. Of course providing Sonic the stuff he likes.

Shadow staying pretty much the same but still amazed and confused by witnessing these changes

Sonic being scared of water, Shadow holding him everywhere from the beach to the pools and bathing tubs. Or at the least reassuring him of the water not being too deep

Shadow loving cigarettes, coffee, salmiakki and dark chocolate

Shadow's laugh, it's high pitched and cracks his voice

update: my mom did in fact intervene in a way. she pointed out how skinny i got over 2 weeks (they were v stressful for my whole family, especially me n my mom and she knows abt my ed so she figured it out quickly). what happened is that i have noticed my bones sticking out more and abs showing (for the 1st time in my life!), but my weight stayed the same thoughout, so i thought im just unsure of what i actually look like and/or am imagining it because i wish i looked like that. but because she keeps on talking about how i look really thin and …unattractive (she fr still thinks eds develop bc people want to be skinny bc skinny=pretty????)…. i actually accepted that i really am that thin. that my ribs are actually showing. that my hip bones do in fact protrude from my pants. and i love it. however, as much as i adore this, it made me feel “safe” in my eating? idk… i had shitty ass sleep bc i felt quite sick after yesterdays dinner, i slept only for 4 hrs max which is v little for me. so i was extremely tired today, took a caffeine pill and drank an energy drink on an empty stomach in the morning and went to school. i kinda overdosed on the caffeine, yeah :/. but i ended up having a v successful day, i did more than i thought i’d be able to with how tired i was/am. soooo… i allowed myself to eat basically anything i want until im not hungry anymore. i didnt have a plan today bc i simply focused on not being extra tweaked out or passing out in school and was nauseous so i literally didnt think about food at all in that way.

to make this long story short : i ate 2085 calories worth of food that i didnt plan and im glad that i didnt binge, but also im shocked by how easily my behavior got influenced by someone i truly love and care about.

its not a bad thing and in the end, i cant be *always* in a deficit realistically, plus if im in a plateau maybe it’ll help? even if i would gain (which i truly dont think i will) then id still be skinny af. and … it feels quite good tbh. im proud of myself for getting here and actually recognising it (nothing hurts more than seeing pics of you at lw and remembering you used to believe you were too large), but im also not proud of myself for letting go today. extremely proud of myself for not even thinking about binging tho. like i just ate like a normal person for 1 meal (dinner, as lunch was high cal safe food combos, which still contained much more things and cals than what id allow myself on a normal day). im having mixed feelings. but im also content. tomorrow? who knows what approach ill take towards my diet. and idk how ill feel about today when tomorrow comes, either. but for now, i just want to sleep. im gonna maybe reblog a bit, but ultimately im gonna take a sleeping pill to finally slee through the whole night and r e s t my body cos i need it.

that said, there are a few fandoms i've read fic for that i've never written for! going all the way back to my roots, i read so much mlp fic, n although i technically wanted to write mlp fic back in the day (n have like. two paragraphs of an ancient pitch rotting in my gdocs), i never really committed to it.

nat made me read some pokespe fics too back in the day, so i've read a couple of those too despite never really reading a ton of the manga. one pokespe author also recommended some kingdom hearts fic that i ended up reading, despite having never played kh or knowing anything about it really!

i also used to read a lot of miraculous ladybug fic (once in a blue moon i'll also get update emails for some of them c':), n although i had some ideas for mlb fic, i never wrote any of them.

i think the most recent fandoms i've read but never written for have been the adventure zone (balance), since i'd read taz fic as it crossed my dash after i listened to the podcast, and princess tutu, bc i had a mutual who got into it, so i started w/their fic after i watched the anime, then poked around the archive a bit hehe

19. Is there a ship which you wished you could get behind, but you just don’t feel them?

hmmm i'm honestly kind of a "once a hater, always a hater" kind of person, so it's kind of hard for me to think of a ship that i see around, know the basic appeal of, but don't really Understand in a way that makes me more proactive or picky w/seeing them portrayed.

that said, i would love to read some kokosara meta that elaborates on how a relationship btwn them would further kokomi's character, why sara is the only character who would be able to push her in that particular direction

23. Name a fic you’ve written that you’re especially fond of & explain why you like it.

oooo that's tough, since i'm very fond of p much all my fics for various different reasons, even if i don't think their writing is particularly up to my standards anymore.

like, even tho jjk was technically a while ago for me now, i'm still obsessed w/the idea of a constellation au (zenith); and the diner at the end of the night is still easily one of the most well-written high-energy comedies i've ever pulled off.

it's also really hard to pick out of my genshin fics which one holds the most specialest place in my heart bc most of them hold niches in my heart!!!

typically, though, i pick disjunct bc during the writing process, it was the first time where i really felt allowed to give a character Mixed Race Struggles(tm) wholesale w/o feeling like i was just making them mixed for the sake of it. i'm also really happy with the way it ended up resonating w/people on a core level, and the experience of artist-viewer connection n just having an Art Moment(tm) that resulted!!

45. What is your all time favourite fanfic?

i used to say A Miscellaneous Tale of Night and Day, which is The 200k word pokespe fic nat made me read when we were in high school that hasn't updated since 2012 that has effectively inoculated me against "abandoned fanfiction sadness", and the plot n premise are still a ton of fun, but i've been rereading it a bit as of late, and you can feel the early 2010s casual transphobia and misogyny in it lol. i'd say that it helped shape my comedic tastes/ability to just write self-indulgently, so for that, i'd categorize it under "influential fics"

honestly my favorite fics tend to be long multichapters, but there are honestly so few that line up with my tastes and have an ending in genshin, n i didn't read enough in jjk to have any longfics to really be fondly subscribed to. thinking about it, i genuinely think my fave fics are just the ones nat n i make up together over discord until five in the morning LMAO

in terms of fics that exist(ed, at least at one point), i'd say the now-deleted snk fic tower of babel would probably qualify as one of my all-time faves, n i can say that's not just the nostalgia glasses bc i do still have a copy on my hard drive lol. the premise is that five girls, each hiding their own secrets from each other or the world, end up renting one apartment together, n they learn to trust each other enough to communicate n rely on one another. there's also a bit of romance happening in the bg, but it's not the biggest aspect of the fic, n i really liked that!!! also the way it dropped the title in the end, basically stating its main theme as "it's a lot easier to fix your problems if you communicate abt it" CHANGED MY LIFE the first time i read it lol

- i'm 18 & my pronouns are they/she, and i prefer men

- i space out a lot & tend to be quiet (not shy) but when i start talking i turn waay loud, i tend to dramatize small things but then have a stoic attitude towards big/unexpected stuff. i can be passive-aggressive a lot of times & show fondness by teasing/being a little shit. I plan a lot for the future and am internally organized.

- some positive attributes are: giving my undivided attention when listening (being quiet plays a huge role in this), my friends say i’m generous & go over the top when giving but definitely not with my food(unless i REALLY love u), i never lash out on anybody no matter the intensity of my emotions & distance myself before conversing, i’m pretty solid with keeping secrets & promises to others (not with myself tho-).

- negative attributes are: i overthink a lot & almost never share anything about it i can’t pry the energy out to explain most of the time, i’m generally very distant even when i’m in a good headspace and this often sends mixed signals, i’m very pessimistic, i have trouble opening up.

- i really love cooking & baking (biggest stress repellent), i often draw my recipes so it's easier for me to know what i’m making, i also read & write in my free time too!!

- i don’t have many dislikes but maybe not being listened to, and a dealbreaker would be if the person can get controlling bc i don’t like it when my plans/goals are disrupted.
