Here we are, it's my Powerpuff Girls self-insert, Cherry Coading! They work at a robotics company in Townsville and specialize in software and programming. In fact, they're one of the best in her field, which has made her a target in a few of Mojo Jojo's schemes. Even when being held hostage and made to work against her will, though, her sweet and sunny demeanor that could warm the coldest of souls never falters; they somehow always find a way to see the good in everything - and everyone.

Brief reprieve. Does anyone ever have something haunting you, peeking over your shoulder, drifting through your dreams begging you to write but you can't because life is too much with us but you need to write before your head explodes with the people and places and ideas that need to be put down on paper? Yeah.
Okay. So I'm hoping that I can get this story back up and running and to its finish line. Because I still love Miles and Gwen I want to do it justice so here's a short chapter for now as I haven't abandoned the work.

hmm, maybe hold your friends close (but your enemies closer)? but I do regularly get yelled at when someone at the Writers Guild remembers the flowers that we've grown together, so that's a win too
7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
probably seven is my lucky number with the sappiest-happiest ending. though the ending that makes me the happiest must be that of Felonies and Other Love Languages

not really *knocks on wood*

no because I'm a coward 😭 (also writing smut is so hard! though it is known that ace people write the best, so maybe I'm naturally talented and just don't know it)
10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?
not really. in Lost & Found the Teen Titans kind of adopt Adrien but they don't have dialogue because it's not a proper crossover. similarly, in Fighting Dragons with You Cedric Diggory is mentioned and Dramione is canon (to me), but all of that has zero impact on the plot

yes, a few to Russian

yes, I tried it a couple times, but only one fic of those did we ever finish.

15. What's a WIP you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?
fdgfhj all of my WIPs at the moment? 😂 honestly it would be so nice to have (no one can) rewrite the stars finished (that's my hidden fic, ladrien dating/marichat soulmates), but I don't think I'll ever be excited about it enough again to go back and rewrite the 20k chilling in my docs that I planned to do after realizing the current setup wasn't the best it could be
16. What are your writing strengths?
planning, keeping details in check. I usually tinker enough with details that there's not many inconsistencies left. also, I think I'm good with dialogue and usually with the pacing of information
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
not stressing over how something is phrased and putting down actual words instead. it makes writing so excruciatingly slow and sometimes stressful that I want to get things perfect. also, descriptions are so hard, because I don't want to describe things plainly or in a dull way, but finding interesting ways takes a lot of effort.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
I have done it, but honestly most of the time you're probably better off using italics.

Since Eggman commits dozens of felonies and War Crimes per day, do ya think he keeps track of them all in a list or database? Can you imagine how he feels when he turns on the news and sees his face on a wanted poster?
YES I definitely think he'd enjoy keeping them filed to look back on fondly over and over again! He definitely writes about them in journals and records voice memos he's known to keep and stores them as docs in a database, detailing and bragging about his plans and adventures of crime. No matter the outcome he's always fond of the highlights of the experience.
I bet he really likes seeing himself on TV or the newspapers. It's the only time he cares about the news of the outside world, when it's about him! He'd like to record and collect them. Watching or reading about terrified people's reports of fear towards his latest terrible crimes while he's just chilling and eating a hearty breakfast and drinking his iced americano is the highlight of his morning 💜
He'd be very proud to be on wanted posters saying he's wanted for "EVERYTHING" and is a "complete monster", he finds it exhilarating, knowing he's such a powerful huge threat capable of so much evil that it's impossible to cover it all and everyone knows without it needing to be said because he's so infamous. It makes him feel very special and important like he deserves!
He gets a lot of camera footage of his coolest action and destruction so he always knows the status of things but he'll save and store his favorite parts too. If he knows he notices any public cameras and knows it'll be spread around in news reports or wanted posters, he'll strike a pose and give a cool shot for them to use to make it look the best it can be and show off how handsome he is! XD
I can also imagine that some of the 20 terabytes of selfies he canonically has would also be captured while he's out and about doing these crimes, so he can remember what he got up to that day for the memories. It gives him another way to admire himself and swoon over his own photos, though he does that all the time no matter the photo too because he loves himself so much!
He'll revisit lots when he wants to feel happy and proud of himself for his adventures, crimes, and accomplishments over the years, it brings him great joy and brightens his day. When his robots see him giggling and sighing dreamily they know he's more than likely looking at a photo of himself or watching/reading/listening to or about himself and his crimes again hehe 🥰

Your writing flows beautifully! I love your sense of humor, and your characterizations have style. The banter is witty (except for the times it's deliberately stupid bc our beloved fools are most entertaining), the contrast between "excuse me he's doing what?? Vod. Vod no" characters and "not a single bother is given this day, nor any other for that matter" characters absolutely impeccable, 11/10 a delight 😃
And you!! Your blog itself! Your aestetic isn't like mine but I love it, and "butch lesbian Kermit" is a hell of a thing to put on top of it, threw my insomniac brain for a loop and a half, lol. Your pinned post is sweet, and shows a bit of backbone without being rude or agressive about it, idk the best way to phrase it bc it's 3am, but it gives off very classy vibes in an understated way, like that post about the dude on Project Runway, or Julie Andrews.

I resent the implication that my vibes are at all classy. All my clothes have bird shit on them, I cut my own hair, and my apartment has a roach infestation. Polis Massa: Favorite OTP’s
Romance wise, I only have three!
1.) Barrissoka (Ahsoka Tano x Barriss Offee): This is the BOAT for me! I could very much write a whole thesis on why I love these two together so much but I’ll keep it short. I’veshipped these two since I first saw them together in the Clone Wars years ago (well before I knew I myself was gay and could truly appreciate wlw romance) and despite all the horror Feloni put them through, I’d still die for them. These girls deserve happiness 🧡💙🤍💚
2.) Kenduli/Obinara (Luminara Unduli x Obi-wan Kenobi): Just like the above ship, I could write pages on why I also love these two together but I’ll abbriaviate. I fell in love with their dynamic in the Legends novel “The Approaching Storm” (highly recommend) and that love grew even more when I saw their dynamic in the Clone Wars. Like the way Luminara relaxes around Obi-wan and the way Obi-wan worries for her on Geonosis is just so damn cute okay? They’re two of my all time favorite characters and I think they go nicely together shoot me 😄
3.) Hanleia (Han Solo x Leia Organa): Need I say more? How can you not love the OG ship? They are just too damn cute and lovey dovey with each other and the sequels did them real dirty…totally not bitter about it one bit.
As for platonic OTP’s, I am a huge sucker for the wholesome Jedi Master/Padawan relationships. The Jedi are just so damn good and loving 💙💚💜
Utapau: Personal Ranking of Episodes
This one is a difficult one since I love all the first 6 episodes so much (sorry sequel fans, I won’t be including those here, just not my cup of tea).
1.) Revenge of the Sith/Return of the Jedi: These two are tied as my favorite because I literally cannot choose.
Return of the Jedi has always been my favorite of the OG trilogy (I abused the hell out of that VHS tape and DVD). I just love a good satisfying ending and that’s what Episode 6 is, a good ending. All the characters have grown immensely. Han is no longer a relunctant hero, Leia is still a badass but she’s now a badass motherfucking Hutt slayer and a friend to the Ewoks, and Luke is a Jedi Knight with a new green saber. The reveal about the twins is finally made and we finally get to see that climatic showdown between Luke and the Emperor with Vader finally returning as Anakin and sacrificing himself for his Son. The Empire is then finally gone and the Jedi and the Republic can start to rebuild. That ending scene with Luke looking at the Force ghosts with Anakin joining in light colored robes never fails to get me misty eyed 🥲
Revenge of the Sith is the prequel movie I’ve watched the most and to me it’s a direct parallel to Episode 6. It’s tragic as fuck and the Order 66 scene will never fail to break my heart as well as the Mustafar battle, but it’s still a hauntingly beautiful film. Anakin essentially is the reverse of Luke in that he made all the wrong choices and I find it poetic knowing what would happen in the future. The soundtrack to this film is also probably my favorite 👌🏻
2.) Attack of the Clones: This movie is so entertaining to watch. Okay, so as much as I love the originals, the prequels and the Clone Wars are my jam in that all my favorite characters are alive and well and we get to see so much Jedi badassery. That scene where all the Jedi arrive on Geonosis is 👏🏻💙💚💜🤌🏻 perfection ☺️ I also really like the different journeys Anakin and Obi-wan go on and their banter in this film never fails to make me laugh. It’s essentially the final stop before all the tragedy happens and I’m here for it.
3.) A New Hope: Like many, this is the first Star Wars movie I ever watched and it’s the reason why I’m so deep into this universe. The story and pacing of this movie is top notch. This movie is just full of so many surprises and touching moments (like Luke looking off into the binary sunset, Obi-wan telling Luke about his father, the final duel between Obi-wan and Vader, and the final Death Star battle sequence where the golden trio work together to defeat the Empire). This episode is 100% a comfort episode for me and I’ll never stop loving it.
4.) The Empire Strikes Back: Most people have this one ranked higher than New Hope or Return of the Jedi but for me personally, that was never the case. Don’t get me wrong, I love this movie. It’s a great sequel to episode 4 in that it continues to build on all the elements we fell in love with in ANH (I.e The Force, Han/Leia’s romance, Vader’s connection to Luke, etc.) while adding new elements such as Vader’s inner turmoil and new characters like Lando. Luke’s Jedi training with Yoda on Dagobah with Yoda will always be my favorite sequence in that film because it delves into what it means to be a Jedi and what the Force is. I think for me it just boils down to the fact that the Empire/Sith get the upper hand on this one and I’m all for the good guys.
5.) The Phantom Menace: Now just because it’s last on my list doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy it. Unlike what most would say, the story is a solid one. I liked seeing all the political strings Palpatine had to pull to get where he needed to be and I liked seeing who Anakin was before his Jedi training. I think it was important for the audience to see where Vader came from and how he ended up at Obi-wan’s side. The Duel of the Fates sequence will never not be cool; it’s one of my all time favorite Obi-wan moments. This is just the episode I’ve probably seen the least.
Phew, I’ve ranted quite a bit but I still had fun 😄😊

do you think betty is “bad” for jug after the cheating thing? people often acknowledge just how a great boyfriend jug is, i obviously agree with them (archie could never!) but we’ve seen how supportive betty been to jug. i want to ask you about this because i love everything you write on here :) also maybe i’m too young lol but what i wanted to ask is, does the fact that she cheated on him makes her a bad gf/person like people seem to say? at this point they’re just love to find a reason to hate on her.

here’s the thing about probably half of the new betty haters: they’re hypocrites. i unfollowed a lot of people last spring for hating on betty, calling her a bunch of names, saying she was horrible and disgusting all while reblogging ships from teen shows past that had cheating in their storylines.
so it’s really about jughead.
i’m really not comfortable assigning morality to someone who makes a mistake like cheating (in real life unless it’s my relationship and someone asks me for my opinion, i really don’t think it’s any of my business). it’s obviously wrong but this is also fiction. and there are gray areas here: cheating is usually a symptom of something else in real life. in fiction, it’s often a plot device. you can’t really 1:1 fiction to reality because there are things on this show none of us would ever do that we watch for entertainment purposes.
i’m never going to skin the tattoo off of a woman but i don’t judge jughead for doing it. it’s just a story being told on tv. betty kissing archie didn’t fill me with the urge to go kiss someone i’m not married to. this is a show that kills characters fairly often, they do felonies on the regular, they crime more before 9am than most of us will ever do in our whole lives.
so, why is she bad for cheating but not, say, hiding a dead body? because it’s personal to them. or they took it personally on jughead’s behalf. which, whatever, it’s not like i was thrilled with it either. i only care that they were taking the track of possibly hurting very real people in the efforts to attack betty and the people who still like her and/or bughead.
(and you can guarantee that had it been jughead who did it, they would have found a way to make it betty’s fault anyways because he’s baby and perfect to them)
(i like jughead. a lot. he’s not perfect. he messes up often. it’s part of why i like him. if they were shoving some perfect hero storyline with him down my throat, i’d definitely feel differently)
they’re finding a reason to hate her because she disappointed them. or betrayed their idea of her. or whatever she did, it wasn’t what they wanted her to do and i don’t care that they hate a fictional character, i care that if this is how they react towards a fake person, how would they react to a real one? the lack of compassion for mistakes (not just cheating or whatever), the lack of forgiveness, the lack of letting someone grow from those mistakes are something we see a lot in fandom nowadays. especially when it’s towards women. being a little kinder to the people around you isn’t going to make the world worse.

Man it hasn't even been a FULL WEEK since me and the wife's rewatch of the PPG movie, where I thought it was just gonna be a fun nostalgia trip and a chance to show her a huge part of my childhood. But here we are now, she ended up falling super hard for Utonium and I.... I fell for Mojo Jojo 😭😭
