Re: Passive Influence

Ryan and I’s passive influence towards each other is odd. An example of this is that he has always been the more STEM-inclined one, while I was more artistically inclined. We pushed each other in those opposite directions, though we didn’t fully realize it at the time, of course. His feelings bleed into my lack of feeling and vice versa, as well. He used to be quieter and I used to be more extroverted, but as we grew we changed, like most.

Once he took over being host, and I left for the Farlands soon after, we settled into near-opposite roles than before. I used to be a bit of a romantic, and I suppose I still am. He used to think those kinds of things were pointless, but now he’s hopelessly enchanted by someone. It’s interesting, and makes me wonder if I’ll ever fall in love again, though I doubt it.

Re: Farlands

The front is almost never in the Farlands. This is mostly because it’s furthest from where front usually is. It is also because this is where all of the “broken” alters go. It’s based on old, impossible standards Ryan and I had ages ago. There haven’t been new people here permanently in ages. I would count Rory, but he gets out so often that I’d hardly consider him “permanent”. Farlander created this place, as it got here when they formed, but back then it was only the frontroom and the Farlands.

Barely anyone lives here willingly. Farlander and I were the first, of course, and we made sure anyone else that ended up here felt at home. Nowadays people can come and go a bit more freely, but usually the people that live here are content. Plus, they usually don’t know enough about the main innerworld to feel comfortable exploring it. Rory comes in and out as he pleases, though, even if Ryan doesn’t fully realize it.
