heh im happy to answer questions!! :D im actually not out to anyone online as muslim and so this is incredibly fun for me to talk about sgjkgh

metatron! now i have to be honest, i had never really heard of metatron till.. couple weeks ago when i watched s2! and it seems that this isn't an uncommon thing too, there's much more description of metatron in jewish literature than islamic, his name isn't mentioned in the quran at all iirc, but given the other similarities in religion i thought to look it up and found that! he exists! but i don't know what the whole.. beyond the veil thing entails, really. 😔 not even sure what this "veil" is. regarding metatron i have basically no knowledge at all. we're all learning here!

but! the free will discussion... oof. honestly this is a big topic. as it should be, but a lot of young muslim kids ask this question of.. if everything is predetermined, how can God judge us for our mistakes? we're told we have autonomy and choice to do what we want (which is what makes us human.) but Allah has also predetermined everything. uh. so [shrug] the analogy that stuck with me most was that if a child is given two options for food by their parent, the parent will know what they are going to pick, but they still have the choice. its flawed like all analogies but it is a good framework i think. there's also the thing about Allah knowing everything that will happen but not actively enforcing it? its definitely confusing. i hope i made any sense at all ;-; again happy to answer any questions if that has raised any but i can't.. promise i'll give good answers sjkfhgh [gestures at these paragraphs]

israfil! well, judgement and resurrection are very closely linked. iirc, israfil is the only being (along with god) to know when the day of judgement will happen. he'll blow the famous trumpet once to end all life on earth except himself, and blow it again to resurrect everyone that has ever lived. nods. the second coming doesn't trigger this, but it does signify the end of days.

free will: that's such a beautiful analogy... i guess it may not necessarily be a predetermination of only one path, but multiple different ones, and it's our choice which one we choose, even if god knows which one will be chosen. but that god doesn't tell us what will happen when we make that choice, because that would influence our decision, and as you said - either way doesn't enforce it. that i believe crosses over into some catholic thoughts on predestination, im not sure, but either way would strike the balance between god being omniscient, and her creations having free will - making the two compatible.

israfil: brilliant, thank you for clarifying, especially where the second coming might link to the day of judgement!!! follow-up q, i read a bit more about the day, and where (if ive read this right), each person had their book of deeds that supports whether they go to heaven or to hell. sort of related: where does the book of life fit into this in Islam? is each person's deeds reviewed, handed back to them in whichever appropriate hand, and they are then scratched from the BOL?

stars: that's... that's not brainrot talking, that's bloody ✨illumination!!!✨ wow!!! even if the star shower scene was before demons existed, the suggestion that the shower started after the angel who crowley was (AWCW) began to ask questions - something that firmly foreshadowed the fall - and given that aziraphale was the one to make him start questioning/then hurriedly cautioned him against asking them... the symbology of AWCW not necessarily protecting him from things that chase away demons, but protecting him from being implicated in whatever punishment was to come??? protecting him from the fall??? my GOD, im ASCENDING. oh my god oh my god oh my god

Seungcheol was a successful man in his field, you knew this fact getting into a relationship with him, and if you said it didn't intimidate you...you'd be a filthy liar. But Seungcheol always reassured you over the years that he never looked down on you due to his own status. He always respected you and treated you as his equal.

However, he took absolutely no issue and even relished flaunting his wealth when it came. More specifically, spoiling the fuck out of you on random occasions and set ones such as tonight.

Seungcheol had a track record of going above and beyond for your birthday. Been racking my brains as to who this might be and I'm genuinely stumped, so well done! Haha! 😆

Okay, I thought long and hard about this, and there are a few that come to mind, but I did pick one overall:

Heyday Hero This is probably the one that makes me the most happiest.

Pedro at the Emmy's inspired this. So distinguished and handsome, and one of my favourite looks on him to date. I saw the pics and instantly saw a Mature Marcus Moreno. And then I got to thinking about Marcus' life after retiring from the Heroics, and this story was born. I had so much joy writing this, so much. Like, I can't even put into words how easy it was to write - it just flowed - Marcus ran the show, and that rarely happens.

And Marcus hadn't really been on my radar much either, I mean I'd certainly seen the film and such, but he was kinda low on my Pedro Boy ranking. But I just fell for him big time in this story. 😍

A Cup Of Love Soft Dieter in love has my heart.

Listen. Dieter is such an underrated character of Pedro's. And everyone's version of him is so different, which I love and enjoy. Some of my favourite stories in this fandom are Dieter ones. I love his chaos, but I also love a much softer Dieter. A Dieter that I can sink my teeth into and really get under his skin and into his mind. And A Cup Of Love Dieter is such a joy and makes me so happy.

I have to shout out Adrift With You, of course.

This is a story very close to my heart. It's something I wrote a long, long time ago, and re-worked for Frankie. He's the perfect Pedro Boy for this story, and I knew when I started sharing my writing in the fandom I wanted him for this.

It's the first completed story I've ever felt really proud of, and despite it being quite heavy with the genre and angst, it's a story that brings me so much joy. And to see people interact with this each week, the cliffhangers, the sadness, the moments of joy, is just stunning.

And finally, I'm completely besotted with my Helianthus Ezra. 😍

I love flowers. I love Ezra. The two combined are even better.

Prospect is genuinely one of my top 5 favourite films of all time. I can watch it endlessly and never grow bored. And I adore how Ezra is in this story, how soft and gentle he is, but also harbours that dark, edgy side we all know and enjoy. He's such a multi-faceted character. When you think you have him figured out, he does something else to throw you off and I love that. He's such a joy to write and I have more to come for him, because it's an absolute pleasure to write for such a character.

I think, if I had to narrow it down and pick only one absolute favourite of these four only, I would probably say Heyday Hero.

Yes, Marcus. You.

you've given me hope that a type of love exists beyond the prominent common negative situations relationships can have that is prevalent today, and that maintaining a healthy and respectful relationship is attainable. (and never to settle. :D)

you are obviously a very beautiful person and i truly wish you find everything you hope for this coming year, and that love encompasses all aspects of your life because you deserve it. even if every day might not be a good day, hopefully, you will have peace and fun and the good will heavily outweigh the bad.

So this is something that’s based on an ongoing issue for me especially when depression has taken a toll on me which caused me to eat my feelings and I was originally going to mark this one-shot request as non-urgent, but I felt like it’s an urgent request for this one (tw as a heads up: fat shaming, insults regarding weight, and mean words). Sending you tons of love and hugs, I hope things get easier and I wish you nothing but happiness <3 Just a few things: I changed up the scenario a bit from them being in bed since my last 3 Eren posts all take place in bed and I didn't want my writing to get tooooooo repetitive and I also only made Eren take his shirt off since I felt a little uncomfortable with him getting completely nude. heh sorry about that, but I hope that's okay and I hope you enjoy this regardless. Walking home from your parents place which wasn’t that far from your own home was horrible. Your heart felt heavy as their horrible words repeated over and over again in your head, making you feel worse as your feet continue to carry you to your shared home with your boyfriend, Eren. Who knew your own parents would look at you with such judgment as they spat harsh words at you.

Why can’t you work harder to lose weight so you can look like ‘so and so’? Keep eating like that and you’ll turn out like ‘so and so.’

What kind of encouragement was that? Was that supposed to motivate you to make some kind of change in your life? Because all it did was make you feel even worse about yourself.

Pain filled tears roll down your cheeks as you finally arrive at your own home, wanting nothing more than to be in your angel's arms. You twist the key into the door and shove it open, dragging yourself into your home.

“Y/N? Is that you?” Eren calls out once he hears the click of your keys unlock the door.

“Yup, I’m home,” you say shakily, closing the door behind you and furthering into dimly lit living room.

Eren finally appears, sticking his head around the corner with a smile gracing his lips, ready to greet you, but his expression falls as soon as he notices your puffy, tear stained face.

“Hey,” he coos, coming closer to you as he takes a seat beside you and brings you into his warm arms, “What happened?”

You explain how your day visiting your parents went, how they fat shamed you and compared you to your peers which completely ruined your mood and day.

“I just feel so disgusted with myself, I couldn’t even eat when I went over there since they were just criticizing me the whole time. It’s like no matter how much I exercise, I feel like I’m seeing no progress. I feel so ugly and I don’t know what to do anymore…” you express to him, the frustrations from your day building up even more as you relive it.

“First of all,” he begins, gently caressing your head as you remain in his arms, “You’re incredibly beautiful and perfect in my eyes, so whatever your parents said about you today, forget it all–it’s all lies. I see how well you take care of yourself, and treating yourself to your favorite foods is perfectly fine. There’s nothing you need to change about yourself, angel. Just keep doing what makes you happy. At the end of the day I’m here so you’re not alone, and I refuse to sit back and hear you say these horrible things about yourself.”

His attempt to comfort you didn’t move you though, your parent’s words were still fresh in your mind and it would take a lot more for you to just move on after hearing them.

Eren sighs, and stands up, shredding his shirt off his body.

“Look,” he points to different markings along his body and other imperfections that bothered him sometimes, “Look at all these flaws on my body. Little things that could be huge issues for someone else, but I just try to accept them even if they do bother me sometimes. It just goes to show that nobody's perfect or fully confident in their skin.”

“Yeah, but your flaws look wonderful to me, you’re perfect Eren, even if those parts of yourself make you feel insecure,” you tell him, seeing nothing wrong with the shirtless man in front of you.

Eren smiles and sits back down beside you, his shirt held loosely in his hands, “Exactly. Everything that makes you insecure with yourself also looks perfectly beautiful to me. Every single one…do you understand now?”

He cuddles you to his chest allowing the warmth of his skin to fill you with a similar warmth that makes you feel a lot better about everything.

“Mm, yeah. I think I’m starting to get it.”

You spend a little while in each other’s arms, Eren talking about his day as you nod along, listening intently to his deep voice vibrating in his chest.

You think it over, your mind telling you to refuse, but you didn’t want to hang on to your parent’s words. Your heart wanted you to listen to Eren who always made you feel good about yourself in the moments when you couldn’t stand being in your own skin.

“Sure, just a little bit,” you finally say, turning to him with a small grin.

He smiles back at you and excitedly runs to the kitchen to fetch you a slice. When he returns with the slice, you bring a small piece to your mouth; the cheesecake melting on your tongue, filling you with comfort–which these types of foods usually did for you. Eren watches you the whole time with adoration in his eyes, enjoying how happy you look while you eat, just seeing you eat was enough to make him feel full for days.

“How is it?”

“Really good. I’ll have to thank Mikasa the next time I see her,” you hum, taking another bite as the heaviness in your heart from hearing those horrible words from your parents seemed to have disappeared.

Eren ruffles your hair and presses a kiss to your forehead, glad to see you feeling better and no longer crying. He turns the TV on and snuggles close to you and you lean your back against his still bare chest, getting comfortable as you both unwind from your day.

It was there, right in his arms where you felt your best; safe and comforted by the man you called yours.

I got passed up for a promotion at work today because transportation is hard right now and because I had started slacking after they had told me that I was in the running for the promotion. Hi Luna! Baby witch anon here from a few days ago, I was just wondering what tarot deck you use? I currently go between the modern witch tarot deck, the angels and ancestors oracle deck by Kyle Gray and I’ve also got a new deck called the Hoodoo Tarot deck.

I did a reading regarding H’s current situation using the angel and ancestor deck and 2 cards came out those being The Eagle and The Moon

The eagle is about seeing things from a higher perspective and moving beyond the limitations of ego and selfish desires. This card calls you to recognise that there are blocks or limitations in your vision and any current situations may not be seen for what it really is. It also mentions that if something isn’t for your highest good or the intentions are not good it holds you back from reaching your full potential . The eagle brings energy of love and healing from the heart of father Sky who encourages us to do things from a place of love

The moon is basically similar the sense of looking at this situation from different angles, it also says ‘see through illusions and blockages’. The moon is the opposite of the sun meaning it helps us understand polarity of the energy and balance. The sun is god the moon is goddess.
