June 23rd, 2022: A new minarai has made her debut in Miyagawa Cho! Kimisora (君宙) is from the Honjo 本城) okiya and will be the imōto of Kimiyū (君有). She was dressed up in full maiko attire for her osakazuki (cup exchange) ceremony and then switched to her minarai attire later to be introduced to the neighborhood. Her misedashi will take place in July ^^ Image is courtesy of Honjo Okiya.

September 1st, 2022: Congratulations are in order for Kyoto’s newest maiko! Kimisora (君宙) has debuted from the Honjo (本城) okiya in Miyagawa Cho! She is the imōto of Kimiyū (君有), also of Honjo, and boasted one of the longest minarai periods in recent memory at almost 2½ months! Her vibrant smile kept the rain away just long enough for her to finish her greetings.
