ロサンゼルス・レイカーズ(7位）-デンバー・ナゲッツ（2位）。
2023-24 西地区プレイオフ1回戦。ボールアリーナ。
観戦に至る経緯。
ロサンゼルス・レイカーズ（8位 47-35）対ニューオリンズ・ペリカンズ（7位 49-33）プレイイントーナメント対戦視聴。勝利チームがナゲッツ（2位）とプレイオフで対戦。レギュラーシーズン最終戦（レイカーズがアウェイ勝利）と同カード。ホームで2連敗するようなものなので、ペリカンズは（サンズ6位同率、プレーオフに出るチームとしては）勝つべき試合と思い、ペリカンズを応援。ただレイカーズが勝ったらチケット購入を検討するという気持ちでTV観戦。チケット販売サイトではまだ対戦相手（＋試合時間）が決まっていない状態で最安値＄130から売っていた。レイカーズはホームだと130ドル（対ホーネッツで）くらいするし、デンバーの試合でも先シーズンまでで＄80、今シーズンなら＄100くらいから。優勝したので全体的に値段が高くなっても、すべて売り切れたらしく、久しぶりに1度も観戦に行けなかったシーズンでもあった（10年以上ぶり。）。プレイオフ観戦は20年前に行ったような気もするけれど不明(行ったとしたら、2004-06,で負けた試合。日本のネカフェで文字で見てた年もあった）。
イングラムは負傷明け2試合目。レギュラーシーズン終盤に絶好調だったマッカラムが不調。レイカーズ勝利濃厚と思いきや、ザイオン・ウイリアムソン中心の攻撃でペリカンズが追い上げて残り4分で同点。しかし残り3分でまさかのザイオンが負傷退場。
週末でプレイオフの試合（もしかするとレブロン・ジェームスがレイカーズ最後のシーズンの可能性＋八村塁出場）ならと思い切って購入手続き。しかし販売チケットは表示されていても売り切れ表示になる状態（みんな考えることは一緒）。なんとか＄175で購入できた。次の日には最安値＄220、当日は＄280になっていた。

第4戦で球団新記録の47得点をマークした2位シードのニックスのブランソン, なんなくシリーズ突破か
イースタン・カンファレンス第2シードのニューヨーク・ニックスと、第7シードのフィラデルフィア・セブンティシクサーズによる「NBAプレーオフ2024」ファーストラウンド第4戦が、ウェルズファーゴ・センターで行われた。
シクサーズは26日にホームで開催された第3戦を125－114で勝利。この試合でジョエル・エンビードがゲームハイの50得点に8リバウンド4アシスト、タイリース・マクシーが25得点7アシスト2スティールと両輪が躍動し、シリーズ初勝利を飾ったシクサーズは、ホーム連勝を狙ってこの試合を迎えた。
47得点の大暴れを見せたブランソンは試合後にそう語った。それもそのはず、これはニックスの選手としてプレーオフにおける球団新記録。これまでバーナード・キングが2度46得点を残しており、パトリック・ユーイングが45得点、ウィリス・リードが43得点、カーメロ・アンソニーが42得点と、レジェンドたちが40得点ゲームを達成したのだが、ブランソンは彼らの記録を塗り替えたのだから、そう思うのも当然だろう。
ニックスではOG・アヌノビーが16得点14リバウンド3ブロック、マイルズ・マクブライドが13得点4リバウンドを残したとはいえ、チームの半分近くの得点を1人で稼ぎ出したブランソンの活躍なしに勝利はなかった。
