本ビジュアル＆本予告解禁！
5月5日“こどもの日”に、『サバカン SABAKAN』の本ビジュアルと本予告が解禁となりました。
今回解禁となる本ビジュアルは、本編に登場する「子供時代の友達との思い出」である「サバの味噌煮の缶詰」がモチーフとなっています。上の缶詰では「1980年代の子供時代（番家一路）」を、下の缶詰では「大人になった今」の主人公久田（草彅剛）が子供時代を懐かしむかのように見上げる構図となっています。1980年代の缶詰では、主人公の久田（番家一路）と友達の竹本（原田琥之佑）が自転車に乗り、母ちゃん（尾野真千子）は小言を言いながら追いかけ、父ちゃん（竹原ピストル）はノリで追いかけています。キャラクターたちの表情に個性とユーモアが溢れ、「缶詰から想い出が飛び出してくる“あの頃”に誘われるような」楽しさが漂うビジュアルとなりました。そして「ここは80年代。子供が主役です。」というキャッチコピーが添えられており、いったいどんな青春映画なのか、とても気になる本ビジュアルが完成しました。
さらに本予告も解禁となりました。主題歌はORANGE RANGEの大ヒット曲「キズナ」をANCHORが編曲、さらに、りりあ。の涙腺を刺激するピュアな歌声が予告編を盛り上げます。音楽はベテランの大島ミチルが手掛け、物語を奥深いものにしています。空と海に囲まれた長崎の美しいロケーションと煌めく夏が、観る者を懐かしく包み込み、“すべての人の子供時代”の記憶を呼び覚ます、胸を熱くする予告編となりました。
『ミッドナイトスワン』に続く温かな愛、新たな青春映画の誕生。ご期待ください。
「キズナ」編曲：ANCHOR
主題歌を担当させていただきましたANCHORと申します。初めて作品の詳細を伺った際、自分の生まれ育った故郷の田園風景を思い浮かべました。学生時代、その景色の中でMDウォークマンから流していたORANGE RANGEさんの楽曲「キズナ」をカバーさせていただけて大変光栄であると同時に、制作中はまるで作品の中に迷い込んだような不思議なノスタルジーに包まれました。大人になった今、まさに憧憬と呼ぶに相応しい夏の1ページを、りりあ。さんの歌と私の音、そして変わらない名曲と共に楽しんでいただけましたら幸いです。

金沢監督からオレンジレンジさんの「キズナ」を主題歌として歌って欲しいとお話をいただいた時は私で良いのかと戸惑いました。監督から「キズナ」への熱いこだわりをお聞きして、この素晴らしい作品が完成した時に私の歌声で幕を閉じる事がとても光栄で「やらせていただきたいです。」とお返事しました。この作品はとにかく観て！の一言です！後悔しないと思うので是非観ていただきたいです。
音楽：大島ミチル
映画「サバカン」の作曲は金沢監督が私の音楽の「風笛」が大好きとのことでお話をいただきました。監督はとても穏やかで、でも音楽のイメージを明確に持っていらっしゃいました。映像を最初に見た時、長崎出身の私はその懐かしい風景や言葉に湿度を感じました。春や秋は少し生暖かく、夏はセミの鳴き声とジリジリした暑さ、冬場は底冷えではない寒さ・・・この映像は記憶であり、優しさでもあります。私の中では故郷の家族、友達はいつも温かくそこにあって遠くから見守ってくれる存在です。その甘酸っぱく、ほろ苦くかつ包み込むような思い出を今の心と重ねて作曲をしました。素敵な映像と役者さんたちと一緒に音楽も楽しんでくださると嬉しいです。
《ストーリー》
１９８６年の長崎。夫婦喧嘩は多いが愛情深い両親と弟と暮らす久田は、斉藤由貴とキン消しが大好きな小学5年生。そんな久田は、家が貧しくクラスメートから避けられている竹本と、ひょんなことから“イルカを見るため”にブーメラン島を目指すことに。海で溺れかけ、ヤンキーに絡まれ、散々な目に合うが、この冒険をきっかけに二人の友情が深まる中、別れを予感させる悲しい事件が起こってしまう…。
