Farewell The Doyle Legacy!

A small compilation dedicated to Eddy & Helena Harrington the founders of my Doyle Legacy♥

Helena Doyle Harrington was a woman of unwavering strength and resilience, She endured hardships from a young age, losing her mother to illness and began selling herself in Finchwick to survive. Yet, she never lost her spirit or her drive to make a better life for herself.

She squatted in a abandoned hunters cabin in the Bramblewoods which ultimately would lead her to meet the owner & her future husband Edward Harrington who had lost everything in the 1893 Silver Panic along with his entire family to Illness.

Helena was a victim of sexual & physical abuse, she was often afraid but Eddy despite coping with the loss of his family prioritized caring for Helena.

Even with Helena's negative reputation while working as a prostitute Eddy showered her with gentle care.

They quickly went from Roommates to lovers and with an unexpected baby on the way they became husband and wife. The pregnancy forced the couple to dive head first into working hard to turn the property into a functioning farm so their family could survive.

the couples wedding was simple and very private.

The couple Maxed out their gardening skills as they raised their children & sold the produce for profit.

Eddy and Helena always wanted the best for their kids and raised them strictly on the life of farming & teaching skills they deemed important for men & women to learn!

Being self sufficient was very important to them & they were confident their children would have a place to raise their own children on the property in the future.

But, as Eddy and Helena's children grew older they found it more difficult each day to keep their goals aligned with their own.

This left a lot of unresolved around the house and ultimately resulted in Eddy & Helena making major life decisions for their children in order to force their lives into the way they thought was best.

Silas was forced into a arranged marriage via ultimatum to ensure he'd take control of the family farm and Lucile was left to hurt own devices with the impression she would be always be taken care of. Lucile was often left alone and her goals were put on the back burner since Silas was the first born meant to shoulder ownership of the property.

After Eddy fell Ill Helena heavily devoted all her time to caring for him which lead to her getting the illness herself.

Eddy and Helena both started to deteriorate from tuberculosis and their care fell heavily upon their children's shoulders.

At this point I could no longer continue playing the save but eventually Helena and Eddy would've passed along side each other as the era entered the 1910's. Eddy and Helena were devoted to one another and worked hard their whole lives to turn an abandoned property far from town into a livable space their children could inherit.

Several times Eddy & Helena went hungry so their children did not.

Farewell Eddy and Helena you will be greatly missed!

Sophie, Luis’ mom, was drinking her coffee at Annie’s living room. Their kids spend so much time together it was only logical they ended up becoming friends. Sophie was a freelance graphic designer, so she could stay home to take care of his son and the house.

“Did you made the appointment?” Sophie asked as she bit one of the cookies in the plate in front of her.

“Yeah,” she sip on her coffee, “it’s tomorrow, I will go after work. So I was hoping maybe you could pick up Jake for me.”

“Of course! No problem.” Sophie saw the worried demeanor in Annie’s face. “Hey,” Annie turned to see her, “I’m sure everything will be fine. Dr. Stevens is really good.” Annie offered her a tight smile and nodded.

It was Mid-February, 4 months after her ectopic pregnancy. Sophie recommended her to go to her obgyn, doctor Lucille Stevens. After finishing her shift at the Children’s Cottage she headed to the doctor’s office. She was sitting in the waiting room, her legs bouncing as she moved her hands.

“Annabelle Johnson-Barber.”

“That’s me.”

“Dr. Stevens is waiting for you.” Annie stood, “It’s the first door to the right.”

“Thank you, miss.” Annie walked the short distance and knocked on the door before hearing a soft “Come in”.

“Good afternoon,” She looked at her computer, “Annabelle.”

“Annie is fine.”

“Very well, have a sit. Before anything I need to ask you a couple of questions to start your medical file.”

“Sure, no problem.”

“When was your last period?”

After a couple of minutes of the doctor asking basic stuff related with her and her family medical history the real question hit.

“So, why are you here?”

“I… you see, I had an ectopic pregnancy and ammm,” Her voice broke and the doctor gave her a paper tissue and her eyes filled with tears, “Thank…you. I, My husband and I wanted to have a baby, and then that happened,” a few tears rolled down her cheeks, “And you know, I want us to try again so I wanna know if there’s something wrong with me.”

“Ok, first of all, an ectopic pregnancy is not something you can control, I’m sorry you had to go through that, but you must know you are not to blame for it.” Annie nodded as she cleaned her tears.

“I’m sorry, I’m just being silly.”

“No, you’re not. I understand how you feel. Now, did you drink water like I asked you?”

“Yes, I’ve been trying really hard not to pee. I don’t know how much I can hold it.” The doctor giggled.

“Don’t worry, as soon as we finish the ultrasound I’ll let you go to the bathroom.” Annie climbed on the bed and lifted her shirt. “Undo the bottom of your jeans too, please, and put them down a bit.” Annie did as she was told. “You gonna feel cold.” She placed the transducer on her lower abdomen. “So, four months, was it in September then?”

“Mid-September, yes. I didn’t know I was pregnant. I thought I was having my period, but the cramps were…”

“Unbearable.” The doctor kept moving the wand, “Was it on the left side?”

“Yes, how did you know?”

“Your fallopian tube is smaller on that side, but it looks healed. And you have a scar there.” She said pointing with her sight to her lower abdomen.

“I always forget it’s there.”

She moved the wand a bit more, “Have you and your husband had any sexual activity since it happened?”

“I mean, it took a while. I think we started to be intimate again after 2 months, maybe, like in November. He was very understanding.”

“I’m glad, most husbands don’t get it.” She moved the wand again, “Have you been using protection?”

“Ammm, yes, I wanna know first if everything is alright so we can start trying again.”

“Hmm.” Annie saw as she pressed some buttons in the machine “Well, how you would feel if I tell you, you’re going to be a momma?”

“What?” Annie turned to see the screen.

“You see this little thing here?” Annie nodded as she saw a small bean on the screen, “That’s your baby.” Annie was speechless watching the little circle on screen, “You might be just two or three weeks along.”

“But we were careful.”

“Condoms can break.”

“But…oh!”

“Now you remember.” The doctor lifted her brow and Annie nodded and smiled. “They always say they were careful.”

“But I told you I had my period last weekend.”

“Yeah, and you told me it only lasted the weekend when it usually last five days. It’s called implantation bleeding.”

“Wait, is there something wrong? Is that why I bled?”

“No, it’s perfectly normal, and for what I can see, everything is fine with you and your baby, the size is perfect.”

“Am I gonna have a baby?”

“Yes, Congratulations!”

“Oh god!” Annie started sobbing, she heard a weird sound, “What’s that?”

“I’m just printing out the pictures for you. Here is a tissue.” Annie cleaned herself and arrange her clothes. The doctor walked to her desk and began typing.

“So, I need you to come again in 4 weeks, ok?” Annie nodded, “I need you to start taking this vitamins and folic acid.” She wrote rapidly on a prescription and handed it to her as she stood “Make the appointment with the receptionist.” Annie nodded again before jumping on the doctor to hug her.

“Thank you! Thank you much!”

“Don’t worry, we will take care of you and your baby.”

Annie was walking towards her car, and her phone ding with a text from Andy “Be a bit late today, new case, thought client.” That will give Annie enough time to plan a good way to tell Andy the news.

It was almost 10 and Andy wasn’t home yet. Annie had put Jake to bed two hours ago and she was drifting off on the couch when she heard the car pulling on the driveway. Not long after Andy walked through the door. His feet dragging on the carpet.

“Honey, are you up?”

“In here!” Annie said cheerfully and Andy walked towards her losing his tie. “Long day?”

“I need vacations.” He said as he sat next to her.

“I made you dinner.”

“Perfect! Cuz I’m starving!” They walked to the kitchen. Annie heated his plate and sat with him. After Andy finished, he began to clean the dishes. So Annie took the moment to go to the office and pick up the box and envelope she had hidden. Andy was finishing with the plate when he remember her wife was going to the doctor today. “Fuck! Honey! How was your doctor’s appointment?” he said without turning.

“You know, all good. I have something for you.”

Andy turned surprised when he saw the present box, “Valentine’s day was a week ago.” He giggled, “And I loved my present, you with a bow and those pictures of you in lingerie are so fucking hot!”

“Well, consider it as a late Valentine’s present.”

“Alright,” Andy took both the box and envelope and sat on the stool.

“You read the card first.”

Andy lifted his brow but did as he was told. He opened the envelope and took the card out.

“My love, my Andy. I want to thank you for everything you’ve done for me ever since we met. Aww honey, no need to thank me. I do it because I love you.”

“Just keep reading.”

“Ok, ok! We’ve been through so much together and I cannot express enough how much I love you. I thank you for everything you did for me to cheer me up when the incident happened… Honey.” Annie just stared at him, “I thank god every day for putting you and Jake in my life. I won the lottery with you two. With all my love, Annie.” Andy paused and looked down a bit, “Oh! P.S. Hi, daddy! Can’t wait to meet you, mommy told me so much about you and my brother today. You two seem like so much fun! I know I’m very little right now, but I already love you. I’m sorry it took me a while to get to you but I was waiting for the perfect family and if everything goes right we’ll meet next November. Your rainbow baby.” Andy stayed in silence, and opened the box, a small pair of white knitted booties were inside along with the ultrasound picture. “Honey, don’t play with me like that.” Andy turned to see Annie who had tears welling in her eyes. “Is not a joke, is it?”

Annie shook her head as her tears fall to her cheeks. “I’m pregnant!” She said and her voice broke. Andy stood, hugged her and lifted her in his arms, spinning around the kitchen, “Stop, I don’t think this is good for the baby.” Andy placed her on the floor again.

“Wait, but we’ve been careful.”

“Well, not really, remember last week on valentine’s day.”

“Aha.”

“Well we didn’t used protection.”

“Yeah, but...”

“And remember our date night like 3 weeks ago. We went to the movies and then…”

“We had sex in the car.” Andy smiled remembering that night, “Are you sure, like 100% sure?”

“Yes, the doctor told me I’m only like 2 or 3 weeks along, she gave me a prescription and said everything was perfect!”

“God!” He hugged her and squeeze her hard again, “Shit! Sorry, honey, I’ll tried not to do that every time I see you!” Annie giggled and then began sobbing.

“Honey, come here.” Andy hugged her and rubbed his hands on her back. “You ok?” She nodded, her face hidden in his chest. “Are these happy tears?” She nodded again, “Oh I see hormones are kicking in.” He laughed, “Does Jake know?”

“No, I haven’t told anyone, just you now. I don’t want to tell anyone.” She sniffed.

“Why not? This is exciting news honey!”

“Well, what if something happens and then you know.” Andy stared at her understanding what she meant, “I just think we should wait, we could tell the news after the first trimester and if everything is fine.”

“It’ll be as you say honey.” He hugged her again, this time he was gentle, as if she will break if he touched her harder, “I love you, so, so much.” He stared at her with love in his eyes and kissed her. He broke the kiss, touching her forehead with his. “Thank you.”

“Why are you thanking me for?”

“For being you, for making me happy, for making a baby.”

“Well, you helped with the last one,” she laughed, “It’s half you.”

“WE’RE GONNA HAVE A BABY!” Andy said at the top of his lungs.

“Andy! We said we were going to be discrete!”

“I am been discrete.” Annie shook her head, “So, can we celebrate?” Andy wiggled his brows.

“God, you’re impossible.”

“So, yes or no?”

Annie shook her head again and turned around walking towards the stairs.

“Are you coming or not big boy?” Annie winked at him and Andy quick walked towards her.

They were lying in bed, the white sheet covering their halves of their bodies. Andy was staring at the ceiling while Annie was long gone asleep. He was going to be a dad again! Not in his wildest dreams he thought he will have a complete family again. He turned to see his wife, peacefully sleeping when he notice her hand was on her tummy, right were her womb should be, she was already protecting their baby. He placed his much larger hand on hers and closed his eyes. That night he promise himself he will do anything and everything to protect them both.

Fireball XL5: ☯ Likes - the headcanon that we can toss anything / everything we 'learn' about Steve's family and past in the Flying Zodiacs out the window because not only is that a dream episode... it's VENUS' dream. Which means I get to keep the Century 21 comics canon that Steve's dad was Agent S / Agent Seven of the Universal Secret Service XD ☯ Dislikes - (that Zoonie exits XD) Nah, nah... in all honesty I can't think of a headcanon that I really dislike at the moment? ♥ - The aforementioned 'Steve is the son of Agent S which... well, okay that's actually canon. Hm. Ah. Pulling off the headcanon that Agent 21 and Agent 23 are Penny's parents - the headcanon that Steve is good friends with Penny, and is her big brother in all but blood.

Stingray: ☯ Likes - the headcanon that Marina is actually a bit older that we realize, as Terran years are actually shorter than Marine Years like they are for all other time measurements, and thus Marina is actually ~22 years old, not 19 ☯ Dislikes - That Troy is an idiot or an asshole. He's a solid, heroic and good guy, darn it all. He's got the people skills of a concussed beta fish, but he's actually smart and does his best to help people with no thought of reward. ♥ - Fisher has mostly mended the bridges between himself and his father, but the situation between himself and his mother is horrendous, to the point that his parents divorced over it and Troy actually punched the woman out when she attempted to attack the hospitalized Fisher after the ‎Exocoetus crash (that only Fisher, Gordon, and Holden survived)

Lady Penelope: ☯ Likes - That FAB 1 was rebuilt from the Rolls Royce Penny's father used into it's current 'form', using blueprints for Supercar that Penny managed to stop Steelman from getting on her first real spy mission. Penny was able to ensure that all blueprints were destroyed, and a few weeks later she was given the last set of blueprints by Zizi and Jimmy as thanks for her actions. ☯ Dislikes - That Penny 'isn't really that good of a spy'. Penny is a freaking FANTASTIC spy and she's got the comics and novels (and audio plays) to prove it! XD ♥ - Penny is actually the daughter of Agent 23 and Agent 21. ^^

Thunderbirds 65: ☯ Likes - That the birth order is Scott, John, Virgil, Gordon, Alan. And that Brains (going off the 'actually a teenager' bit of semi-canon) was actually legally adopted by Jeff when Brains was ~15... and that Brains' REAL surname (Hackenbacker is an alias darn it all XD) is Walter, thus giving the show six of the Mercury Seven in the siblings ☯ Dislikes - Except when it's just good fun / joshing (ie when the person saying it is beign sincere) the headcanon that Brains actively dislikes the Tracys ♥ - Both Jeff and Ruth fell into some nasty depressions when Val (Lucille... I've been using the name Val for her for decades XD) and Grant died in the avalanche, and Scott had to step up into the parenting role, as well as doing his best to help his father and grandmother, as a result for a few years. Ruth came out of the depressive spiral first, but it was still 2 years after the event, and Scott had pretty solidly locked himself into the role and even at 15 was stubborn enough that Ruth couldn't really dislodge him, so she just did the best she could to let Scott be a normal teen instead of an adult. Jeff got out of his spiral about a year later

Thunderbirds 04: ☯ Likes - That the helmet we see Virgil wearing during the oil rig rescue is actually standard and USUALLY the boys wear them whenever they aren't in the Thunderbirds so no one knows their identities. (The windows can also be 'polorized' into essentially one way windows and that is the default setting... but this CAN be turned off to allow people outside the craft to see inside ☯ Dislikes - ...hm. Actually can't think of one at the moment ^^;; ♥ - The Belagants are not actually Malaysians by race, although they were all born in Malaysia. Kyrano's father was from Uganda and his mother was british. Onaha's mother was from India and her father was Filipino. The Hood shares his mother with Kyrano, and his father is unknown.

Thunderbirds are Go: ☯ Likes - That iR used to be like TOS IR in that they only responded to the rescues that no one else could do, the current 'suicide run' is RECENT, only two or so years old. ☯ Dislikes - That the tag boys have the same histories as the tos boys... that is that Gordon (who is only 17 or 18 years old so far as I know) served in WASP, and Scott served in the air-force. With iR being a thing for at minimum 9 years prior to the start of the series and Scott involved with iR off the bat (and Gordon's age and involvement for a few years prior to the start of the show) there just isn't a way for the tos pasts / military histories to have occured. MAYBE Scott served for a short while, but Gordon couldn't have given recruitment ages. ♥ - That Penny's father was basically sir Jeremy Hodge from TOS in personality, appearance, etc

Captain Scarlet 67: ☯ Likes - That Scarlet and Brown were not actually dead at the time of their mysteronization, resulting in their odd behavior compared to other Mysteron Agents. (Also, Black was not killed / is not dead and has not been mysterionized, he's just being controlled by the mysterons and is still in his original body) ☯ Dislikes - That Black is a willing ally to the Mysterons instead of their first victim. ♥ - got two that I really love for family. XD Dianne's older brother is Roger Lyon from the Lady Penelope comics (he took up a false name when he joined the secret service and was born Robert Simms) Grey and Black (who both lost their parents in the Atomic Conflict and were sent to America to be raised by someone there) were actually raised by the same man - Grey's godfather, Black's uncle - and the two consider each other to be brothers.

new Captain Scarlet: ...oddly THIS is the hard one XD I don't have a lot of headcanons or know a lot of headcanons for nCS, despite being a longtime fan of it. ☯ Likes - The Mysterons of this universe aren't having a 'War of Nerves', they're just trying to cause as much terror and suffering as possible, toying with humanity before they kill them, and the reason we see the threat levels ramping up in severity as the series goes on is the Mysterons getting pissed that Spectrum keeps STOPPING them. (the og series seems to have rules that the Mysterons must follow in their war of nerves... always informing Spectrum of the next attack, only attacking something / someone once, etc) ☯ Dislikes - That Blue is an idiot. Yes, he is a bit gung-ho and impulsive, but he's DAMNED smart and more than fast enough on his mental feet to get himself out of situations he might get himself INto ♥ - annnnnd I'm stuck ^^;; sorry, I HAVE family headcanons, but I am blanking on them at the moment
