Oof, I almost forgot how to make a new post, hehe. I'm alive and kicking. Funny enough, I'm kinda absent on here but jumping between photoshop and game every single free evening that I have xD This week was weird, lol. This lady above is the reason for all of it. And do you know what's the worst part about it? She's doesn't look like this in game at ALL. I took a pic of her and decided to blend some face parts of the real person onto my sim in photoshop. This way I can see how ts3 lighting is killing everything she should look and what to focus on when making her skin. Still, I'm happy because I didn't have to edit her eyes/contacts, so the most important part of her face is looking all fancy. If you brave enough, here is the original picture... It makes me sad.

Anyway, I have a lot to catch up on! Check your wonderful blogs, answer asks. But you know how slowly I am... I'm sorry!

Well, I noticed that every year around Spring time, I have less interest in Sims. I'm not going to abandon my blog at any time, I just don't have as much "sims energy" now as I have through the rest of the year. I dislike my sims even more during this time and I don't feel motivated to convert anything.

Hello! First, thank you for saying such a nice things about my sims! It truly means a lot to me.

What can I say... I ALWAYS use inspiration from real faces. For me, eyes and brows are things that define face the most. Having a reference helps achieve a little "life-like" effect. If you manage to properly recreate the eye area, you can actual see emotion in your sim - melancholy, happinness, boredom. It depends on person/picture(s) you base your character on. Download as much sliders as you can and don't be afraid to play with each one! Sometimes that one slider that you've always avoided can help achieve the look you've been aiming for.

I'm unable to make sims with maxis-match skins. I always need to have some realistic details that define the face. Eyebags and eyelids are most important.

Hairstyles are very important part of the sim. While creating my character, I like to imagine what kind of hair should fit them. I have two main styles - straight, more thin or puffy, thick hair. In my opinion, it really DOES help achieve the perfect look. For example I can't imagine Pola with very fluffy hair. On the other hand, Maree will always looks best with more volumish hair.

Well, I guess that's it. I have no idea if it's helpful in any way though 😅

Whats your fave thing to do in the sims game? I lowkey-highkey love the teen stage, so I love making them prank the neighbours- egging their house, or ding dong ditch and horse racing <3

Ah yes, teen pranks are a lots of fun :D Oh, and being out of home after the curfew >:)
