I made a squid coin pouch!

It makes me so happy to use it

How I made it below. If you want to make one, it took me around 3 hours to embroider and sew by hand

I made it a while ago, so I might be forgeting something

I first traced with an erasable pen four pieces of the body and of the tentacles, and drew the eyes on one of the bodies (the other was just me trying stuff out), and succion cups on two of the tentacles. Use a non-stretchy fabric.

Embroidered the eyes and the suction cups with black thread.

Pin the parts pretty side with pretty side (so it's pretty on the insde and the outside!)

Saw along till you get to the stright part on the body (where the string will be.) Remember to also leave an opening on the tentacles.

Turn inside out the body whith the eyes. Put the other body inside so the seams are touching. Saw along the top (leave the sides open for the string). Turn the whole thing by pulling it through the hole on the side (the one for the string). Iron everything so it looks nicer.

Cut 2 pieces of string. Each one should be 4 times as long as the wisth of the opening of the pouch. Thread it so each string loops around the pouch on opposite directions.

Tie the ends of the strings and shove them inside the tentacles. Sew the tentacles closed.

And we are finished!

I mean Butter Squid, this is what happens when you bring in child actors, particularly ones with no acting experience and only real life experience, and when the story likely doesn’t require it

Like even if the original Lord of the Jelly in your world had a main character group of children, you can age up actors so you aren’t working with children. The only time people don’t do that is when the characters being young is absolutely essential to the story, like Harry Potter

Just saying Butter Squid, Habanero not being a good actor isn’t exactly on him, it’s probably more your fault. Either that or the people who cast the movie but you probably still had a say in it

info on bigfin squid: the bigfin squid is a very mysterious species of squid that lives deep underwater. since there have only been fewer than 20 recorded sightings of them, we dont really know anything about them. this species is pretty large however they could be even larger as all captured specimens have been juviniles. we dont know how they live, how they mate, how they raise their young, nothing. all we really can bet is that how they hunt probably has to do with those very long tentacles
