Unfortunately not, I don't think I've read those books! Silver [the sky pirate in question] was a wolf anthro OC from my silly little fantasy world I made when I was a kid. There's like, lore and stuff. I haven't drawn her recently but I'll put some [very] old art of her under the cut for you all to enjoy. I haven't drawn her since... Probably 2016? Wow.

you see, that's the thing about being a hels. by the very nature of what you are, you come into the world with another half, an opposite. a you and a not-you. a them and a not-them.

and sure, some hels go out of their way to extract themselves from their other halves. to defeat them in battle or let them wither away or establish over and over one's independence until everyone just about forgets that you were once not-them.

but even in all of that, there is still a definition of oneself by another. for a time at least.

to be born into the world alone, without knowing there's another half of you out there, heart beating in inverse of yours. to be born without knowing. to look in one's reflection and see only oneself.

fun little loop idea. everything written, played, and mixed by me! I only write that b/c usually i end up programming a lot of things for fidelity reasons. but this time the drums and guitar are live through a nice mic, the bass is direct, and the keys are a sampled boesendorfer played with a yamaha keyboard.

Oh wow, oh man, I guess...

There's many writers I really enjoy, but for the first three that come to mind I'd have to say silverskye, anchestor and aeris_blue. They basically got me into Grillster! ❤️ I really enjoy their styles and how each od them can write so many different types of stories!

T: Any fandom tropes you can’t stand?

None in particular that come to mind. There's a few I don't like tho, like the "predestined lovers" kinda deal, but I don't mind it too much.
