What about the design concept of your version Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse from Steamboat Willy?
Ah yes, thoses ! Well, there's still the sketches I made for fun from my sketchbook.
Overall, it's really just Mickey as you know it. Minnie and Pete are a bit inspired by their design in the mousquetaires movie,(my childhood fav !)
I did a few others, but you'll have to wait a little more, i still haven't planned the official finished thing.
...maybe for the release of the remake of Epic Mickey. I used to love that one back then.

yeah, last night you had it written as “Gertrude/Geraldine’s daughter”, so I kind of went ‘good for her!’ before doing a reread.
I think I can get why you thought of it this way.
I edited it recently, it should be easier to avoid any confusion.

I am really tired and accidentally read that as you saying you had an AU where Gertrude had a kid with a woman named Geraldine and that was the background to ‘Geraldine & Mona’ and I was like ‘man I should have been paying more attention’.
Reading this actually caught off guard, I had to read again what I wrote in the past Ask to be sure i didn't write that somewhere, being tired myself :' )...
Turns out I didn't, but i think it's good to recall that :
The "After IHF" Area (2018-2020) was an "I Hate Fairyland AU", explaining Gertrude's life after the comic (And before the revival in 2022). It was simply fan fiction and fan art. But it wasn't even close to comics original spirit, and the more I had ideas about it, the more I wanted to create my own thing with it, mainly because it became IHF only in name.
So I started to create "Geraldine & Mona" starting with sketches in April 2020, with webcomics in 2021, and an official comics in 2023. It used the better parts/ideas of the AU, and created new things around it. (It's cliché, but most original stories started as fan-fiction anyway ?)
But there's no drawings/post where Geraldine and Gertrude met :'). It could a funny crossover, but I don't know how they'd react to each other. They'll surely compliment each other hairstyle, but that's basically where the real similarities end eventually :' ).

Sometimes I do Art Trades with other friend/Artist, but it's more a closed thing. Recently it's also a question of time, that I don't have much. So, I do take some, but not at the moment.

You know, Gwimbly had a rough history since his jump in 3D.
Other than that, Gwimbly : The revenge of Count Groxia was good. Good bit of Nostalgia right there. Too bad it got retcon with Gwimbly 4 : It finally happened. But I can't blame anyone, this game was amazing.
... Or I'm mixing things up with other video game characters, and I need more sleep ? Naaaah.
All joke aside, go watch smiling friends, please. It's super fun. Like, for real, it's really that good.

Can you give some cool trivia about Mona?
I got some !
Before the comic/ Unused Idea :
Similarly to Geraldine, Mona was slightly different before the comic real beginning in 2021. She was created in 2018 for a fan project, but she got heavily reworked and made as Gertrude (before she became Geraldine)' s daugther as soon 2019 started.
On the very first draft of what will become Geraldine & Mona, she used to be 11 years old instead of 7, and she used to be slightly more impulsive. She also used to have a different, more puffy haircut.
Mona had more redesign and personality changes than Geraldine before finding the one interpretation I liked, all of them during 2020-2021.
In fact, i've found the design i wanted some time around the production of the 1st tome. Now, I'm glad of her little look ^^.
Actual Canon/Comic :
She got her green eyes and freckles from her father side.
She's the one who named her goldfish "Namo" and thought it was absolute genius.
She got her shark plushies when she was a baby, and she loves it. She named it "Mr. Sharky"/"Mr. Requin".
She's among the smallest kids in her class, after Charlie, despite the fact Geraldine is one of the tallest among the parents.
She regularly steals her mother's clothes, depsite the fact she's too small for them. She just want to copy her because she loves her.
She actually thinks that her mother's belly is the best and most comfortable pillow in the world.

Facts about Susanne (i.e., hobbies/interests)?
Susanne !
She's a good friend of Geraldine, they met during the university years. she was a member of Geraldine's music group. She played the drums.
In the first version of the comic, she used to be really relax and calm, almost to an extreme point. But I opted something more "dynamic" in contrast to Geraldine. Now, she's giving the best she have to meditate, giving way more energy than what she needs to.
She always try to find her inner peace, which is always funny when you're someone who loves hard rock and metal music. She's the most dynamic and relaxed girl you can find, and know a lots about tea and essential oil. This, and she also use and believe in therapeutic rocks and gems for healing. Don't worry, she's a pharmacist, she know what she's doing.
Other than that, she's quite nice, and wants to find solution to any problems.

What’s your favourite comic your have made?
With Geraldine & Mona ? Oh, i sure have a bunch :' ) !
I really like the one where Geraldine and Mona have this argument between new and old game. Basically, I noticed how my siblings are playing remake of games I used to play when I was a kid, it was fun.
The one where Chloe tell Mona to eats more apple to make the doctor away, and Mona ends up to have an apple indigestion. (Also, I love the expression she does, I love to play with funny faces :' ) )
And I'm super proud of the background on this one. It was long to do, but super worth it. Pages are taking me a little more time to make since I'm trying to add more background in them, but I think it's for the better.
I think I have a lot more, including comics I'm making right now that you'll see later in the year (That I cannot reveal for now) but overall, it's good to work on it ^^ !

Does Geraldine have any hobbies?
She does !
Back in her youth, she used to play guitar. She even was in a group ! Now, sure, nowadays, she no longer goes on stage, since she has a job and a child. She's busy with life.
That said, she still has that guitar, and she's still good at it ! Geraldine do have a good musical side.
She also have a geek side. She may not show it much, but she's a video-game enjoyer, mainly nintendo games (She's a Mario fan, loves Pikmin, tried some mainline Zelda, and she kinda knows how to crack a Wii.) This, and she used to plays a lot of RTS on PC back in the day.Not that she has a lot of time to play any kind of game nowadays, but she enjoy a little break from time to time. She kind of have a good pop culture knowledge, and she would happily share any kind trivia with her daughter.
She likes reading too ! Any kind, novel, Sci-Fi, fantasy. She also have a lots of french comics that she tries to get Mona into. (Like Astérix, Gaston Lagaffe and other)
She's recently trying to get into Yoga, and more sports in general. Not that she's good at it, she kinda avoids sports for a long time. (But she's always busy and dynamic, don't you worry, she has the sports of trying to get everything together in her house/life/job.)
Also, huum... It would be lying to say she doesn't like food. She LOVES food. Now it doesn't mean she eats unhealthy, far from it ! Sure, there's cookies and coffee and tasty things overall, but she eats her fruits and vegetable, and she's always keeping an eye on her daughter's diet as well. They have a balanced alimentation. Even though she sure has a huge sweet tooth.
The most important things of all though is to having some time to play and care about Mona. She may have a lot of work to do, but when she can, she just want her daughter to be happy : ).
Overall, she knows how to pass her day ^^.

This maybe a strange question but Is there a reason why Geraldine looks chubbier in your works. Not that it’s a problem, I think it makes her more fleshed out a relatable as a character. Especially since she’s a single mom with a busy job.
Well, don't worry, I receive a lot of feedback about Geraldine's chubbier side, so I'm fine with that. (At least, i'm used to it, now.)
So, actually, it started with... a random joke.
In 2020-2021, there was, you know, a point where everyone kinda gained weight because of inactivity. And, initially, it was going to be a one-time joke, and then she would return to her normal weight.
Buuut... It simply didn't ? I don't really know how to explain it, but let's simply say that this sudden chubbiness was useful in term of writing and personality direction. And, not gonna lie, it's nice to draw her this way. And she kinda gained a little bit more with time.
Taking the words you use, ''it makes her more fleshed out and relatable as a character''. Her gain is both explained by stress eating due to her job and raising a child alone, and also simply by pure love of food.
Short answer : She's kinda stuck with this tummy because of a random joke I made :' )...
But don't you worry she doesn't mind the softer side she got... most of the time.
(Now, sure, I would prefer to receive a bit more question about her hobbies and personality, but hey, I'm getting used to it.)

Can we see some quick/ rough sketches of Geraldine & Mona that you want to show? Perhaps an opinitunity to some fun ideas or trivia that’s been floating in your head.
Well, I do have some sketch on my side, but to be honest, most of them are really rough. I prefer to show cleaned things.
But okay, for this time, for the trivia side, I do have some stuff !
These are some of the very first sketch of Geraldine, back in 2019 (Because even if I only revealed her in 2020, I've started to imagined her in fall 2019).
As most of you know, she's initially inspired by Gertrude from IHF, but I wanted a character to work on full time. And personality wise, she used to be quite grumpy. But as you know, I immediately changed it in the end. I wanted a softer and more sympathetic character.
On the other side, I have a lots of stuff, most of it are either WIPS for future pages, or really random things. (And it's written in french, because I rarely translate things in my sketchbook.)
