All the jokes about Ken and horses are good but I just wanna say it's such a good parallel to how actual young men get swept into misogyny and the patriarchy.

Like they're told to believe it means men get to be cool and manly and have this power but with that comes extremely rigid commands of what they can be as a man and a cycle of self hatred for never matching those gender roles perfectly. Patriarchy tells men that if they just do exactly what is expected of them, then they get all the "cool stuff" that comes with. That doesn't work though when there's only a small group that actually gets that power, but men will keep trying to fit into those roles in hopes that they can.

In the end there are no horses or the myth men are told, it's just endless cycles of self hatred and ingroup fighting.

dabi's talking about you to shigaraki while you're still in the room but he's paying no attention to you, treating you like you're not even there. you would typically call him out on his behaviour but right now he's telling shigaraki how much you're a good girl for him in bed and you freeze up and get flustered and it's hard not to when he's telling your boss how well you follow orders. "come here doll," he calls barely looking at you. you're confused and nervous but you start walking over to him. shigaraki smirks at the display. "kneel." you immediately drop to you knees realising that dabi is showing off and if you misbehave it could go very badly, you're in a room alone with two of the most dangerous people on the planet, granted dabi is your boyfriend but that's never stopped him getting angry at you.

dabi just pets your head laughing before turning back to shigaraki and carrying over the conversation. "i didn't have to train her or nothing, it's kind of pathetic really as soon she joined the league she did everything i asked trying to get my attention." you look up at him slightly frowning, he just pushes your head back down. "sometimes she'd look up at me with these doe eyes trying to be all innocent like, asking if i needed help on something. after awhile i gave in and fucked her like the whore she is. she's desperate, always trying to please, it really is pitiful."

"can i see?" you hear shigaraki rasp but you don't realise what he's talking about until you see him gesturing towards you.

"what's in it for me?" dabi casually replies, you can't help but tense up, you don't know what shigaraki wants with you but he's never been one to sit and watch when he wants something, he takes. and right now with the way he's looking you've never been more scared of him before.

"whatever you want."

"okay."

people on twitter are talking about the bias in the museum and I'm really glad! I can mainly speak about tubbo art but there is always so little of it even when he died we got one drawing and it was just creation with sunny and had nothing to do with his death. There is so much art for people like etoiles and philza but so little for others such as tubbo or just bagi and not ship art. There's also the fact that there are certain artists who pop up constantly, I can think of one specifically that has popped up in the museum multiple times and in at least two of the three movie nights. between the bias towards certain creators and shipping, there is very little to do with others' lore which helps perpetuate that they don't have any. Hell, I don't even think there was any about fred's funeral. It's sad to watch tubbo zoom through the museum and not really be able to say much because he knows nothing and it doesn't have to do with him.

all in all, i think a good fix I what others suggested which is having each egg admin submit art for the museum of their parents to help get I wider range. Also no hate to the ccs or admin behind the museum, it's just disappointing that it looks more like one person's twitter feed in there.

Im sorry but when yall were saying phil tramua dumped about Tallulah on sunny I did not realize you meant he told a toddler that their emotions were invalid because Tallulah has had it worse. Literally why did he think that was a good idea no wonder they think he hates her that was genuinely just bullying (i know he was just trying to make a comparison) he guilt tripped this literal baby for feeling sad about tubbo disconnecting what the heck. Fionna and cake.. Gosh.. it's shocking to be able to see new Adventure time content whilst being an adult. I grew up with the show- was INSPIRED by the show, it feels so.. surreal to appreciate this new content.

Not only that but gosh.. Simon- as a kid I could never fully comprehend him, But now I can actually understand exactly how tragic this man is and it hurts. Like I might even admit that Simon petrikov is one of my all time favourite characters just because of his story. He is so tragically broken that it actually hurts sometimes.

I adore him so much and I cannot wait to see more of this show

doordash AU

picture this:

march 25th. Owen and his girlfriend Izzy decide to order some good old doordash because why not, and the dasher rings the doorbell, drops off the food, and is about to get into the car when-

GASP

IS THAT NOAH?! OWEN'S CHILDHOOD FRIEND WHO MOVED AWAY!? AT HIS DOORSTEP?!

(ramshackle pilot refrence teehee, GO WATCH IT ITS ON YOUTUBE I LOVE IT)

anyway, Eva grabs the food, Owen stops the dasher/Noah from leaving and asks if it's really him, Noah says some sarcastic remark about how "no, i'm just a stranger with the exact same name, exact same hair, and exact same childhood best friend from 10 years ago," they reunite. but now Noah has to go do another order, so they exchange numbers and Izzy makes a group chat titled "team e-scope."

(nobody questions the group chat name because it's Izzy, she winks at the 4th wall /j)

and all the sudden, Owen starts ordering doordash more, and keeps asking for a certain employee. at this point Owen knows Noah's schedule better then Noah does because he wants to see his little buddy!

but what's this? this is a nowen AU? so why are Owen and Izzy still together?

WELL NOT ANYMORE *hits ozzy with the break up beam*

and during that period of time, between Izzy breaking up with him and his desire to be closer with his childhood best friend, Owen develops a litttttle crush. just a little.

and at the same time, Noah realizes just how much he loves Owen. his smile, his warmth, both physical and personality, the way his touch was slowly helping Noah out of the cold touch starved house he locked himself in. and the more he thinks about it, the emptier his apartment feels.

and Noah develops a littttttle crush. just a little.

they're both scared to love again. Owen doesn't want to build walls, but the other part of him wants that extra protection, even if the construction hurts more then not having them does. Noah doesn't want Owen to put walls up, because he knows from experience (how's Emma doing now?) it's not worth it. he doesn't want to lose him the same way he almost lost himself (does Owen wonder if Izzy's moved on by now the same way Noah wondered?)

but it's okay, because they're working on taking walls down together, one brick at a time.

but right now it's march 25th, so Owen's just going to plan another doordash order. he just reunited with his Noah! surely he works tomorrow too, right?
